Add a new Promoted Sites webpart

I want to add a promoted sites web-part to a page in a (sub-) site collection (of my SharePoint online site).
It seems obvious, but I can't find it (& Google/Bing aren't helping). I know the promoted sites is 'special' so maybe it needs special handling.

Based on your description, you want to add the promoted sites web part to a page in SharePoint online.
By design, the promoted sites web part cannot be added to other pages directly. There is a workaround.
You could create a provider hosted app to display the same links as Promoted Site Web Part, then insert this app to other pages. The provider hosted app is that the app purchaser’s IT department must host a provider-hosted app on a dedicated server or third-party
hosting service. Depending on your choice, these apps run either on your server or in the cloud. A provider-hosted app can also include SharePoint components that run in SharePoint, so it can be mixed in its hosting.

Cannot manage Promoted Sites

Hello,
I've got the problem that I receive the error "Your search encountered an error. If the problem persists, contact the portal site administrator." when I want to manage the Promoted Sites in the Central Admin.
I can create New Links, which are getting promoted as desired. But I can't see and therefore I can't delete any existing promoted sites.
Probably there were deleted the target audience which was in use for a promoted site as it is described in this article:

I did some more researching on this. It turns out that the promoted sites are stored in the SharedListSync table of the User Profile DB. When managing these items, they are simply retrieved using
dbo.profile_GetSharedListSync store procedure.
There is not much that can go wrong with this code other than the database\table not existing or the stored procedure not existing. The code for the sites doesn't involve any other tables or stored procs, so a simple delete from the table would be
the solution if you can't get to it using the web UI, but you should confirm with Microsoft support before you execute that as a final step.

An Ipod can be synced with only one ITunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this IPod with the contents of this ITunes library.
Then it asks me if I want to delete and sync.
I am not sure what to do for fear of erasing everything I have put on my Ipod.
I would appreciate if someone could help me out.

If I understand you correctly, you are trying to use iTunes to play the Music in your iPod but which is not in your itunes library. I don't think Apple design iTunes for use in your way. As to put and play music in iPod, the music has to be in iTunes first, so you play music in the iTunes music Library. the window with Ipod music is just to show you which music are already in the Ipod, in case you want to Manually Manage your huge music library.

I sugggest you try my application, Dates to iCal. It is shareware with a 2 week trial period.
Dates to iCal 2 is a replacement for Apple's birthday calendar for iCal. It has a range of features to allow the user to choose what, and what not, to sync to iCal from Address Book.
As well as automatically syncing birthday dates from Address Book, Dates to iCal 2 can sync anniversary and custom dates. It can set up to five alarms for each date in iCal and can also set different alarms for birthdays and anniversaries. It allows the option of only syncing from one Address Book group. This application also allows for the titles of the events sent to iCal to be modified to the user's preference.

Can't add a new address card to Address Book

Well, I searched and searched the site all over and haven't found any info about this, so I hope I'm not repeating. When I open my address book app and try to add a new card the options under file for "New Card" and "New group", etc. are dimmed and not available and I cannot add any new addresses.
I tried to add addresses out of the "previous recipient" under "window" in the Mail app but it marked it as added and then didn't add it -- it was not in my address book when I checked.
I also tried to throw my address book preference lists in my user library in the trash, emptied the trash and then restarted and it still would not work. ( I am the only user on this computer)
I recently had a reinstall done of my OS X (i'm running 10.4.3) which was done by the guys at my Apple store and I THOUGHT it was working -- although frankly this was not something I checked -- I just saw that my addresses were there. [I had had them do a reinstall because I was having trouble with my Help files working, but that is a very long, sad story...] The only other thing I have done is to install the most recent security update 2005-009 using the software update, but again I'm not sure that this problem was not present before that since I had not tried to add an address.
I even threw out the cache from my user library for the address book that says Metadata (after I printed out my addresses on paper, just in case -- I don't have hundreds and i can manually add them back if needed) Restarted -- and oddly enough there were my addresses in my address book just as if I hadn't trashed them. But I still could not add any new addresses.
I also ran a check on my fonts with Font book and one was found to be defective so I deleted it and restarted -- no effect.
What can I do? I haven't had any of this type of problem before and I think the guys at my Apple store are probably getting tired of seeing me! Thanks for your help!

The address book database is stored under the user's home folder in library>application support>AddressBook>AddressBook.data - i would save that some place safe (RW CD) and then delete it or move it to see if Address Book regains it's functionailty. If so that means one of the files might be corrupt. Add them back one by one and see if you can have contacts and functionality.
Alternatively you can also try, repair permissions, check disk etc from disk utility (utilities folder), and you can also try reinstalling the 10.4.3 update, i would suggest a fresh download of the combo update (yes i know it's big but it has worked wonders for me in the past).
If all else fails the apple shop should offer a free follow up, usually if there are still problems within a time period after getting it back they will re-service it for free.

How do I add a new row to an AbstractTableModel?

I'm having an issue with adding new data to a table row. Every row I add contains the same data which is always the last data I grabbed from my database. I'm not sure if my issue has to do with how I set up the data to be passed or the table itself or both... Any help would be appreciated. It seems like the tablemodel is holding the memory spot ArrayList I'm passing. If I have to set up an arraylist of arraylists, to pass how do I do that?
My output is always:
