Add a private field in Meta

Is it possible to add a field in the Metadata that won't export with the image? I want to add a field to show me how much $$ an image has made but don't want that info public, in addition I'd like a field to show me which agencies have the image, also private to me.
I can't find it in LR, Aperture has this ability but that's one of a very few advantages it has!

I'm considering using an empty field for the time being but don't want to add it to one field without having the ability of moving it, en masse, from that field to a newly added field when it becomes available to do so. I'm talking about maybe 1,500 images with sales numbers in them so I need to know I can transfer those different sales amounts to a new field without doing it one at a time, copy/paste.
Possible current categories would be "Other Categories", "Provider", or "Source".
I have been using Hindsight's Stockview for years and it has this field in it but LR has become my one stop shop for all image work and just want to use it exclusively, including tracking sales. Maybe it's a bit pre mature.

    See as far as the table is concerned, the basic reason why it is not getting populated as SAP stores the possible values at the domain level. So i think the right approach to add the table would be to get access key for the domain and then add the new table name at domain level. Please reach out for help from ABAPer in this matter.
    You can also use User exit to met this requirement and the appropriate user exit will be as below:
    1.MV50AFZL
    2. MV50AFZ1

  • Private Fields on me card not respected with iCloud sync

    I have set certain fields on my Me card as private (not to be shared.) When my me card is synced to icloud and back down to my iPhone my iPhone does not respect the private fields when sharing my Me card from that device. The fields are respected when shared from my laptop.
    I've been sharing private data with my customers that I expected to remain private. How can I fix this?

    Yes, clearly post iCloud, QuickSync cannot 'see' the contacts list.
    However, here's my question: is it possible to put a duplicate set of contacts where they used to be stored on the local Mac prior to iCloud? Then QS would see them and import them?
    They could always be deleted afterwards if they caused a duplicate set to appear in Address Book for any reason.
    Obviously this is a bit of a kludge as it won't get updated as you add/delete from Address Book. But I'd settle for my 500 contacts being at least transfererd! I could put up with repeatign this workaroudn occasionally.
    Thoughts?

    I have a requirement to add an extra field in Cost center:Act/Plan/Comm CC Cur report.This is otherwise a Z report in report painter with 0% code (T-code : GR55-> Report group->Report).But,when we go to technical information of this report,it has four standard sap programs,which contains code for this selection screen.It does not even have a modification scope.
    Selection screen of this report contains following parameters:
    Selection values:
    Controlling Ar
    Fiscal Year
    From Period
    To Period
    Plan Version
    Selection Groups:
    Cost Center Group
    Or value(s)
    Cost Element Group
    Or value(s)
    My requirement is to add one more parameter : Purchase oeder in new block:
    Is there any way to achieve it.
    Note: Copying the standard progs into custom prog is not working,i already tried that.

    You can find enhancement in me28 by following steps and then apply your logic in include of this enhancement.
    cmod>Give a project name>in enhancement column give the package name ME >f4>in package write ME-->ENTER>It will show you all enhancements available in me28> find which ever suits your requirement>save > click on components> from there you can make changes in include program.to add that particular field.

    Hi,
      The procedure to create the new VOFM.
    1. Go to VOFM transaction
    2. Page down until you find a new spot on the page to put in the VOFM number and description.
    3. Put in the VOFM number and the description of the VOFM.
    4. Now the VERY IMPORTANT part of the process. Double click on the VOFM description not the VOFM number to create this as a Development/Correction and not as a repair. If you double click on the number then this copies some existing code and prompts you for a repair.
    5. Activate and generate the VOFM routine. Note: Configuration must be setup by the OM team for this step.
    for example Go to the routine number that needs to be copied.
    Put your cursor on the routine number field that needs to be copied.
    Overwrite that number with your new routine number and hit enter.
    The new routine will be created as a copy of the old routine and you can modify the new routine as you need it.
    Ex.
    You have to copy routine 104 to 904
    Routine number Description Active
    104 Bill.bus.item data X
    Put your cursor on 104 and then change it to 904 and hit enter.
    904 will be created as a copy of 104 and you can make your changes in 904.
    Don't forget to activate it after you are done.

    You're righ,t the gear icon is in the upper right.  I went back and edited my original reply when I noticed the error.
    The directions in your original post apple to the Mail desktop application.
    People sometime don't make the distinction between desktop mail and web mail, which can cause confusion.

    If you want to add extra standard fields (like one you mentioned), you can use Component Workbench and Copy the configuration and create your own configuration and make the "Available Fields" appear there.
    If the standrd field is not available, you can Add Context Node using wizard and make it visible.
    If its a custom field (a new one); you will have to use EEWB and add the fields and then make it visible in the UI using Component Workbench.

    So you need that this new field have data in old records?
    1.- If you are in BI 7.0 and the logic or data for that New field are in the same Dimension, you can use a Remodeling to fill it. I mean if you want if you want to load from a Master Data from other InfoObject in the same Dim.
    2.- If condition "1" is not yours.
    First add the new field, then create a Backup Cube (both cubes with the new field) and make a full update with all information in the original Cube. The new field willl be empty in both cubes.
    Create an UR from BackUp_Cube to Original_Cube with all direct mapping and create a logic in the Start Routine of the UR (modiying the data_package) you can look for the data in the DSO that you often use to load.
    To do that both cubes have to be Datasources ( right click on Cube-> aditional function-> and I think is "Extract Datasource")

    In the report i have to display the 'BASIC' along with the NAME in row level ( repeating frame printing down),
    To get the multiple 'Basic' for each 'Name' using a ref cursor .
    and, using a function to do further calculation based on the basic value

    return(caluculated_value);
    end;
    and return the calculated value to the report. But at that time cannot accommodate the value in the matrix report with other groups frequency.

    I'm deploying Project Online and I want to group projects by a custom field on the "Projects" page. Currently I can see options for group by Project Name, Start, Finish, % complete etc. I would like to group by a custom field of programme name
    which is filled in on the Project Details form.
    I can create the enterprise field etc, however I can't work out how to make the new enterprise field appear in this list. Or am I barking up the wrong tree and should be creating separate Project Types for each programme?

    With the GET statement Credit control area Fields can be selected in the selection screen but I have to permanantly add the field in the selection screen.

    I have a report where I would like to add a column that is the sequence of the row. It is not the rownum in the db, but I want it to be a row number for what is returned.
    So, if I return 10 records, I would like a column to contain 1 through 10 to depict the row number.
    I do not want to have this number in the table or view.
    Is it possible to add a computed field to a report like this?
    If so, how?

    The SQL function rownum should suffice if the report is not too complicated, as this returns the number of the row rather than the database row ie.
    select empno,ename,rownum
    from emp
    add some clauses each time and you should see that each row is always numbered 1 to n.
    However, if you introduce the HTMLDB column sort functionality into the report then it would appear that it is the result set that is sorted rather than a new query being issued.
