Hi,
Was purchased 2 license Microsoft Open Licence for Windows Azure.
Using these data, on the site www.microsoft.com/Licensing/ I activated the license.
In the section "Downloads and Keys" I see my license (Azure Subscription Services Open) and product key.
On the site account.windowsazure.com/ I added to the subscription "Azure with an open source license" credits, by entering the serial number.
Things work, credits were added.
I want to activate a second license.
When attempting to add credits to Microsoft, says that the serial number is already in use.
Please help add a second license in Azure subscription.

Is the colloboration just getting feedback from someone or will they be working on files too using the Adobe applications like Photoshop for example?
If it is just feedback from comments you can use the Share feature and enable commenting. This someone can comment and they do not even have to sign up to the Creative Cloud with an Adobe ID.
If this someone needs to work on the files too they can sign up for a Free account and will be able to use any of the Adobe applications in the Creative Cloud for 30 days. They will have 2GB of space to upload files to share back with you.
If the collaboration will last a bit longer than 30 days they could sign up for month-to-month account for either the Creative Cloud or just a single application (if you only are collaborating using a single app). Add new Office 365 to Azure after removing existing Office 365

Hi All,
A little convoluted, but I am struggling here.
First, some history.
I created an initial Office 365 account (via Telstra). The tenant domain for this is initialO365.onmicrosoft.com. I added a custom domain my-domain.com.
Sometime later, I created an Azure Subscription. Access to the Azure subscription was via my Microsoft Account.
Via support, I had the Office 365 my-domain.com associated with (I guess, via the Active Directory Directory) the Azure Subscription.
The end result was that I was able to logon to both Office 365 and Azure via the my-domain.com domain.
All was well.
Recently...
Due to some limitations with Office 365 via Telstra, I signed up for a new Office 365 account directly with Microsoft. The tenant for this domain is newO365.onmicrosoft.com.
I manually migrated the mailboxes between Office 365 accounts, and I also moved the domain from the old Office 365 to the new Office 365.
In terms of the new Office 365, all is well. I can logon via my-domain.com without issue.
What I now want to do is remove the association of the old Office 365 account from Azure, and add the new Office 365 account.
The end result will be that the old Office 365 account (initialO365.onmicrosoft.com) is cancelled and deleted, and I am then able to logon to Azure and the new Office 365 via my-domain.com.
I simply cannot get this to happen
I've tried to just add the my-domain.com domain to the existing directory in Azure (I've added the TXT record to the domain) but when I verify I get the following error:
Could not verify this domain because it was previously configured for your tenant or for another tenant.
I think I need to add a new Directory linked to the Office 365 tenant, but I am unable to do this (anytime I go to add a new Directory, I DO NOT get the option to select an existing one).
I do have a current support ticket, but it's taken over a week now and I'm not really getting far - I don't believe that they understand what I want to do.
My previous experience with getting this done lead me to believe that this was a simple-ish type of exercise, but I am stuck.
Any ideas?

1. My-domain.com is still associated with initialO365.omicrosoft.com. You would like to add this domain with with newO365.onmicrosoft.com.
A1: First logon to old tenant "initialO365.onmicrosoft.com" and remove any association for "my-domain.com" from any objects (users/groups/applications) and then remove the domain "my-domain.com" from the directory. Once you
remove it, you will be allowed to add it back to the second tenant "newO365.onmicrosoft.com" after verifying the same using a TXT entry.
2. You would like to link the Azure Subscription to the new AAD tenant newO365.onmicrosoft.com
A2: First add the MSA to Newo365.onmicrosoft.com as a Global Admin (GA). Then under Settings on Azure Management Portal, click edit directory and select the new directory to link the Azure subscription to. Add GA for newo365.onmicrosoft.com as a co-admin
on the Subscription before they attempt to login.

Your single license allows you to have two active installations, meaning you can have it installed and enabled on two machines. You can have the software installed on as many machines as you like, but only two of them can be in an activated state at a given time.
As far as using the two machines at the same time goes, the jury is currently out on that - I had the question in for clarification but did not get a response yet. They recently rewrote the license agreement and the portion that explicitly stated you cannot use the two at the same time was either removed or relocated somewhere else that I have yet to find.
If you mean that you want to have another machine licensed for someone else to use then you need to buy a new license for that other person.

Non-personal project specific accounts with azure subscriptions?

We have (in the company I'm working for) explored the Azure platform, running database and services there, and we are possibly building some cloud based services for our customers. At the moment we are running these services using a subscription created
with my company (Office365) account and with a company credit card. But this is not probably how it's supposed to be done in real production environment. I don't (and the company I'm working for does not) want to have the subscripion be tied
to my "personal" work email account for example.
When we are building a service to our customer, we would like to run the subscription and services using some non-personal customer specific project accounts. Is this even possible?

Based on your description, does your customers want to manage the subscription and services by themselves? If that they need their own azure subscription, at now on, if we add them as co-administrator, they will have the permission to manage other customer's

I do not know how it is done, but you MAY be able to buy her a regular subscription and pay with your credit card... just not the Education version that has strict requirements

Increasing internal iMac HD memory- add a second internal HD for iMac9,1?

I see now that the 2nd SATA space is occupied by the CD/DVD reader:

I don't think I want to replace that with a harddrive at this time.
I am concerned because my hard drive has gotten completely full (0 KB remaining) a few times, interrupting whatever I am working on, and I can hear faint clicking/grinding noise while it is running (sometimes it is louder than others). I have deleted files to clear 1-2 GB at a time, but I keep filling it back up, and I am guessing it is not good to continue operating at 99% capacity. It also recently made a horrifically loud noise when burning a CD or DVD that was very concerning to me... I was hoping to add a second internal drive so I wouldn't have to backup and reinstall my current one, as I have a number of costly software applications (eg Office 2008, Adobe CD4, Prism, etc) that were just copied from an older harddrive and I have no software installation discs, or codes or licenses to reinstall those...
As a quick fix, I do have the 1 TB Lacie backup drive, so I'm wondering if I maybe I could just change my iTunes music folder location to the backup drive or something to clear an additional 40GB of HD space for now?

Using MSDN licenses in Azure

This may or may not be the right forum to ask this question but I cannot find a relevant forum to post to.
Does anybody know if MSDN licenses can be used in Azure outside of an MSDN-activated subscription?
In all the documentation I have read, it talks about using MSDN licenses in a subscription activated from the MSDN benefits. However, I would like to use the MSDN software in a non-MSDN subsrcription (an Azure EA sub). I cannot find any information
which specifically says that this scenario is or isn't allowed.

It is not possible to use MSDN licenses under a non MSDN azure subscription. The MSDN licenses are specifically made available for MSDN subscribers.

This order no is for subscription of Adobe Captivate 8. In order to install subscription you need not to enter any serial key .During the installation it will prompt you to enter your Adobe Id and it will validate your subscription after validating your Adobe Id from the server. I mean you have to sign in with your Adobe Id during the installation which you have used at the time of purchasing the subscription.
So for installation and activation you dont need any serial key . Just sign in and it will automatically activate your subscription .

1 Azure subscription, multiple customers?

I have a question about Azure Backup.
We as an IT company have an Azure subscription for online backup (in test for the moment) and we are looking for an online backup solution for some of our customers.
Can/may we make different vaults within our subscription en let the customers take their backup in our subscription?
Or does every customer has to have a seperate subscription?

Hi Andy,
You can add more accounts in your subscription so that they can create backup for they servers.
However, they will also see all backups on Azure site as all accounts have same permission. For example they can create VMs and delete others' VMs, access others' backups etc. Thus I think it is not a good solution for different users to using a same subscription.

We would install the software on the clients server/pc with their vault credentials.
We will assist the customer with setting up their backup and help them restore if it's necesarry so they don't need the accounts details in my opinion.

Release Management Update 4 for VS2013: Unhandled exception entering Azure Subscription

Apparently, you can't copy and paste an exception message from Release Manger, so I'll try taking a screen shot and pasting that in...
Looks like Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Release.Common.ExtensionMethods.XmlExtensionMethods.ToXDocument() blows up with "Cannot find the requested object" when I try to enter the details for my Azure Subscription.
So far setting this up has been a bad experience. I created a VSO account and specified that when I logged in. Step 1 (Basics) is "Configure your SMTP Server Settings to allow sending emails - (Optional)". The link takes you to the
System Settings page which doesn't have a place to specify an SMTP server. The experience has been steadily going down hill from there. The "Configure Paths" tab has a "Servers" section with an empty list and no apparent way to add
a server. I assumed that maybe I had to link my account with my Azure subscription. That's where I hit this issue.
Any ideas how to get around this one?

VM built with trial software - licensing on Azure?

Let's say I download Windows Server 2012 trial, then build and test until I am satisfied, create a VHD and upload to Azure.
Apparently the Server license and CALs are included with the Azure subscription? But this installation of Windows wants a full license key right? It doesn't know it's running on Azure. I wouldn't want this to expire in 180 days. How do I do that?

Another way You can install the software on Azure VM and capture the OS on Azure as an Image.

How do i add a second movie to an idvd project when 'sharing' from imovie always opens a new idid window?

I am creating an idvd project with multiple imovie projects. I know I need to share my imovie project with Idvd. WEhen I do that, idvd automatically opens. Now I want to add a second project. The problem is that when I share imovie projects a second time, it automatically opens a second idvd project. I want to add multiple imovie projects on one idvd project.

One should not share directly to iDVD from iMovie. The Share ➙ Media Browser option should be used as that results in a better quality movie in iDVD. Do the same for both movies and you can drag the movies from the Media ➙ Movies pane in iDVD into the DVD menu window at the left.
Follow this workflow to help ensure the best quality video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
