Add ability to create bookmarks within iOS app

It would be great to have the ability to create bookmarks within the iOS reader app. That way I can go directly from a PDFs download via website/Dropbox and not have to first edit the document on my computer to add any bookmarks.

My main email address linked to the mail app in my iPad is with Yahoo. When I add a test group on my iCloud, my iPad keeps asking for my Yahoo password repeatedly and no sync seems to have taken place. Can't understand why. Might have to troubleshoot a little bit more.
I agree that it is a pain to add a group of names individually and I generally use the Gmail on the notebook for the Gmail app - much easier and faster too.
It appears that the standard mail app is geared towards individual personal mail rather than for professional use. Even then...it could have been better.
Thanks guys for all your input. Looks like there is no solution within the standard mail/contact apps in the immediate future other than using other apps to supplement.

Creating links within a app

Hi,
I want to add link to my iphone app as 'Buy Now' and on clicking this link it will directly link to our company's website where users can buy our apps.
Is this feature possible in iphone and are there some restrictions in doing so ?.

Apps for the iPhone can only be sold through the iTunes Store. You are not allowed to host apps on your own site, if that's what you mean, nor could they be loaded on any customer's iPhone without the customer jailbreaking the iPhone.
If, however, what you mean is that you want to have a link on your web site to your app in the iTunes Store, you can use the Link Maker tool that Apple provides for the purpose:

You could similarly include such a link within one of your apps to point to another of your apps, I would assume, again assuming that the app is in the iTunes Store.
If this doesn't answer your question, please post back and clarify what it is you wish to do.

Creating xml within java app

Hi,
I have reached a situation where I have to create small pieces of xml (around 8k characters) within my java app. Right now I am using stringbuffer to create the xml which does not go against a dtd. This is working for now, since I do not have to read in the xml again.
But if I wanted to use some other xml utility like xerces or jdom, is it recommended for my use of xml or would it be an overkill. Please let me know.

I do not write any code. I was told that ID6 would allow me to create apps for Android and iOS. I just need to confirm if this is true, with or writeout writting code.

I have a young child for which I have setup a managed acct using the most restrictive Internet content filter option. I have selected only those websites he can visit. One of the allowed sites is YouTube. Sometimes he wants to bookmark certain videos within the YouTube domain. Is this possible WITHOUT an administrator having to constantly authenticate / supply admin password? There is already a bookmark for YouTube.com but this doesn't let him go direct to certain desired videos such as, for example, 'club penguin walkthrough'.

Ability to create stock within SNP directly

I am struggling to remember the transaction (or SE38 program) to use for generating stock test data directly in APO SNP.
I have used /SAPAPO/SJKTST04 to create forecast, but need to populate some stock to run a test scenario. I know there is a standard method for this.

Creating an iOS App with File Sharing Activated

From what I can decipher, the only way for a user to retrieve a document created by an iOS app is through iTunes, but only if the app has file sharing activated.
Is there a way to create an iOS app in Flash CS5.5 and make it a file sharing app?

I used the following code for sharing files to documents directory, and it works just fine. I am able to access the files copied by the app.
I made this app using Flash Builder. I will share another one using Flash Pro, soon.

Create iOS app using edge animate and DPS

I was investigating the potential for using edge animate compositions and digital publishing suite to create single edition iOS apps.
After some trial and error I have been able to create a basic iOS app for kids, using EA and DPS. The app was approved and placed in the app store. See the below link:

Why deadlines in Reminders appear differently in iCloud web and in iOs app?

In the iCloud web app, when I set a new reminder, a "deadline" can be added. In the iOs app, this deadline is visible, but if I create a new reminder in the iOS app I can only set an alarm date but no deadline, which appear in a different line. In other words, reminders created in the web app have "deadlines", reminders created in the iOS app have "alarm date". In the iOS app, the list is sorted by deadline, not alarm date, I can't find anything. How can Reminders be useful if I can't work in the web app and the iOS app at the same time?

Creating bookmarks in a PDF file

I know that Adobe Acrobat Professional has the ability to create bookmarks in PDF files. Is there another maybe free solution that I could use to create bookmarks in PDF files? I need to be able to post PDF files on my web site that have bookmarks in them so that users can quickly go to a specific page.
Looking forward to alternatives that I may be able to use.

Aw man, I didn't know that. But you're right. It doesn't cause Save to be available and they don't show up in Acrobat Reader. That's lame.
I never looked into that before because I have Acrobat.

IOS apps continue to use CPU after iPad sleeps

I've created several AIR -iOS apps for iPad and have noticed that after the iPad sets itself to sleep, these apps continue to use a % of CPU indefinately, (around 2%).
I'm seeing this by using XCode Instruments Activity Monitor whilst the iPad is connected.
The apps have been created with:
Flash Pro CS5.5
AIR 3.2
Tested on iPad1 and iPad2.
Would anyone know if there is there a reason for this, what could be causing it and is there a fix?

UPDATE:
Allowing the iPad to sleep does maintain a CPU usage of around 2% for the AIR apps, whereas closing the app with the home button sets the CPU usage to 0, even with the app not exiting on suspend.
When a native app is running when the iPad sleeps its CPU usage does return to 0%.
I wonder what the AIR app is doing?????

If Ask to Buy is turned on, the organizer should have to approve new purchases, including free apps, before they are billed--either to the organizer's card or to the family member's gift card balance.
The organizer must use a credit or debit card to pay for family member purchases.

Load an interactive slide into an AIR iOS app. Is it possible?

Imagine having a Flash app which could dynamically load an external interactiveSlide.swf with which you could interact with. You could then unload/remove the interactiveSlide.swf.
I'm wanting to create a similar model for iOS.
So I create my AIR iOS app that can dynamically load external content. My question is does anyone have any ideas how I could package the interactiveSlide so it could be loaded by the AIR/iOS app?
.swf obviously wouldn't work.
