Add colors to the value area in a XY chart

Hi,
I want to present values in an XY Chart with Xcelsius Std 4.5. The chart is divided in 4 equal zones, so the values fall in one zone (red: critical, green: good, etc)
Does somebody know how can I add different colors to the area of the chart?
When I add colored rectangle with transparency: if it's in the "back" I dont see it, if it is in the "front" I see the symbols of the values quite bad because they are behind the transparency...
Any idea out there?

You are on the right track with the use of colored rectangles. You will need to open the XY Chart, open the Appearance tab, and uncheck the Show Background box in the Chart Area and uncheck the Show Fill box in the Plot Area. This will enable the colored rectangle(s) to be seen through the XY Chart. You may need to adjust other settings or add elements to achieve the desired aesthetic.

Thanks for the prompt response. Actually I was trying to populate some values in to the calender week/year variable through the user exit.So, I got confused while updating the values in to the variable. I used the value format which you both had suggested. But no luck.
The olap control is passing out of my code successfully.
After the coming out of my inlcude program it entered in the function RRS_VAR_VALUES_EXIT_AFTER there the following if condition is met.
" IF -vartyp EQ rro04_c_vartyp-value". after that it raised the exceptions and the above message is displayed. Can you please look in to the issue.
and the message number that was shown is Message No: 00010004 with the following note :
"AError for variable in customer enhancement ZLASWK"
Can you suggest me why it went wrong and what needs to be done...?????

BW 7.3 Error in DTP if the values are char for the char field

Hi,
I have created a field with
Eg: Field1 CHAR 7 -> i have removed the ALPHA conversion
I am loading the data from ECC if the values are
AA0-992 or AA1-AT1 there is no issue it is getting loaded
but when i am getting the values as AAA-BBB it throws an error.
In RSKC "-" is allowed CHAR.
Can someone help becuase as this is the CHAR field it should accept

When you are recording.. you might be creating the values... ensure that they are updated into the GL before u write program. I doubt you might have missed the save ..

How do I change the color of the scratch area?

Is there a way to change the color of the scratch area? I am designing an ad for a newspaper that uses a gray background for a particular advertisement section.

I finally got around to working with this ad again.
This doesn't quite work because the newspaper is actually white but the area around the ads is gray. I thought if I simulated colored paper I would be able to overlay a white background as my ad background. I can see where this feature is very useful, but I just wanted to change the scratch area color.
I wound up putting a large gray square in the back and a smaller white square on top of it which represents the white print area.

Then if you have tried all the browsers try connecting the system to yoour router with an Ethernet cable and turn WiFi off. If you have the same problem then it more then likely after your computer, Router or modem or connection from your ISP.
If you get good browsing with the Ethernet cable then it is either the WiFi card in your Mac or the WiFi system in your router.

As far as I know, you must use brute force in the index.xml file describing the document.
Search the descriptor of your values labels
It starts with : <sf:SFCBarSeriesValueParagraphStyleProperty>
and delete the three items describing the shadow.
I highlighted it with red.

How to disappear the sub Report if the values are null from db..

i have one requirement ie.
i put two sub reports at report footer section..
sub report values are coming from the data base
Some times there is no values in data base at sub report two
plz have a look on below image..it becomes empty.
can i disappear the sub report if there is no values..

In your sub reports, you also have to suppress the values (report labels,headings etc) using a formula.
Go in Report Menu--Section Expert--Suppress -- Formula editor and write the follwoing :
if Count({Yoursubreportfield)}) > 0 then false else true
This will suppress your headers and footers or any other secitons which has static information.
Now in the main report go in section expert and check 'Suppress Blank Sections'
Also check you have applied New Page before or After for any of your sections.

i need to validate all the source values are transferred properly from source db to target db .but i confused which is the right command to use between except & exists.
if 100 records in source then i need to validate all the 100 records should be there in target db.
i used below queries:

You can use EXCEPT here.
NULL will not consider in NOT EXISTS whereas EXCEPT takes care of the same.(Except is nothing but Distinct and then Not exists)

When pressing enter the values are converted to upper case in module pool

tehre are three fields for maintanece in module pool
wheni press enter the fields are converted to upper case i want to avoid this as i dont want to have the upper case
i need to save in table as waht user has inputed not in upper case
so i dont want the fields to be automatically converted to upper case whne pressing enter on screen

It is possible by customize the control by its template, see this for more information:
ListViewItem styles and templates.
By changing the selected visual state, you can change the color of the ListView item background, also the size of the selected item.

Insert data into sql database where the values are in an array

using vbscript i want to store data in MS SQL. i have prepared a script which works fine when i provide the static value but in actual i get the values in an array and now want to store values from there.
Below is not complete code but the block in question.

i verified the database and can see the information is feeded.

Next
logically it is incorrect as INSERT query comes inside the loop but then how can someone make it work?
