  • Orchestrator Active Directory Add Computer to Group

Having trouble with the Add Computer to Group activity. I can't seem to find the right reference for an OU in my active directory forest (/Servers/KC). Any help?
    William Busby, PMP

    Hi William,
you can use the "Get Computer" and "Get Group" Activities to get all the information for the Group and Computer including the Distinguished Name. In the Filter tab of the two "Get-Activities" you can filter with name and other things.
The you can right click on the field for the Distinguished Names in the "Add Computer To Group" Activity and click Subscribe -> Publihed Data and choose the Distinguished Names you get as result from the Activities before.

  • THE IPHONE CANNOT BE SYNCED BECAUSE THIS COMPUTER IS NO LONGER AUTHORIZED FOR PURCHASED ITEMS THAT ARE ON THIS PHONE

Hi I have a macbook pro (late 2011) running on Yosemite  and an iPhone 5s running iOS 8.1.2 and I have never had a problem until tonight. I wanted to sync my iPhone to add mew music but upon syncing I keep getting a pop up message saying "THE IPHONE "  " COULD NOT BE SYNCED BECAUSE THIS COMPUTER IS NO LONGER AUTHORIZED FOR PURCHASED ITEMS ON THIS PHONE" and tells me to go to the store tab on the top and to authorize this computer and every time I do it says computer is already authorized. I will also mention that my iTunes account is the only account that is used on my Mac and it is the only account I've used on my iPhone. Ive synced them plenty of time with no problems. I have never came across this message before and now my iPhone won't sync. I have been online for an hour now looking for solutions but I haven't found any that successfully worked. Ive rebooted both my Mac and iPhone with no success. ow for some reason when I plug my iPhone in it does not even charge but my Mac reads it and it shows up in the iTunes store so I tried syncing it again 1 more time snap it just gets stuck on step 1. I must also say state that is did successfully back up but absolutely will not sync. Can anybody please help me out without resetting my iPhone. Thanks

Thanks Gail but ive tried that as well as logging oht and back into my accounts on my iphone and mac but I still get that message. I actually found a solution by unckecking my synced music playlist and clicking sync to remove it and then reclicked on my playlist to sync and it actually synced notmally and I got all of my new songs so I wanted to test it again so I clicked on sync again and the message once again popped up until I did the un-syncing and re-syncing again. I guess I will keep doing that in the future even though its annoying but its better than resetting my iphone.

  • Can't see calander group's or add a new group in ical 5.0 (lion)

    Help.
Can't add a new group or see my groups when i click on calander in Lion version of ical. Any idea's why?
    Thanks

Info taken from other discussion threads on Win not recognizing iPhone:
    NOT SEEN IN ITUNES:
Windows 7 uses a MTP driver instead of the USBAAPL by default, and what you need is an 'Apple Mobile Device USB Driver' which you might not have in 'Universal Serial Bus Controllers' (check it and see).
Update the driver by expanding 'Portable Devices' from the list, right click Apple iPhone/iPhone and select 'Update Driver Software'. Then select 'Browse My computer...'
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers - then hit 'Next'.
    NOT SEEN AS CAMERA:
Open Device Manager: Right click on My Computer and select Properties from the drop down menu. This will open System Properties as shown below. System Properties opens on the General tab so you will need to click on the Hardware tab.
Remove iPhone USB Driver: called Apple Mobile Device USB Driver. We want to remove this driver by expanding the list of USB drivers which can be done by clicking the + next to Universal Serial Bus controllers. Now right click on Apple Mobile Device USB Driver and select Uninstall from the drop down menu. A confirmation will require you confirm you want to remove the iPhone USB driver.Click the OK button on the pop up confirmation window which will remove the driver.
Reinstall iPhone Driver: Once the driver has been removed you should unplug the iPhone from the USB cable. To reinstall the iPhone USB driver plug it back into the USB cable and the reinstalling of the driver will start automatically. There will be numerous pop up messages displayed near the system clock in the lower right corner of your Windows desktop. Once you see the pop up message confirming that your new device is ready to use everything should be working properly again.
Verify iPhone Camera Detected: Open My Computer now to verify that the iPhone is displayed and you can click on it as you previously were able to do.

  • Computer is no longer authorized to play purchased items on your iPhone

I am all of a sudden getting an alert "this computer is no longer authorized to play purchased items that are on the iPhone “Bob's iPhone 5”. Would you like to authorize this computer...?"
No changes or deauthorization were done to Mac before this alert. Worked fine this morning.
When I try to reauthorize it tells me I already am authorized, and then cycles back to the alert window telling me I am not authorized.  Same for my iPhone 5 and my iPad.
    Any thoughts?

    Hey there,
You discussion came up in a search for the same error message that milepost included in the start of this thread.
I have the same error message across multiple devices that my family uses.   It is intermittent and once I put my password in for the account it comes up with a window that says something to the effect that all 5 of 5 computers have been authorized for this account - but it seems to carry on after that.
I just wanted to add that I am seeing a similar message and do not recall anything that has changed to cause it.  We are a multi iOS family but so I just wanted to confirm that the limit of 5 refers to computers - not to the number of iOS devices that may be managed on the computers - is that correct?

  • Auth Group vs Authority Check

    Hello -
I am adding an Auth Group to my programs using SE38 in the Attributes screen.  Is it also necessary to have code in my program that checks for S_PROGRAM or is it sufficient to add the Auth Group to just the attributes section.
    Thank you for any insight.
    Mary Kathryn

Adding a authorisation grp is sufficient no need to check the authorisation object within the code. The assignment of a program to an authorization group plays a role when the system checks whether the user is authorized to:
    Execute a program
    --> Authorization object S_PROGRAM

  • The iPod could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorized for purchased items that are on this iPod.

    Full message that pops up
"The iPod could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorized for purchased items that are on this iPod.
To authorize this computer for items purchased from iTunes Store, choose Store > Authorize This Computer."
I am unable to sync my music, applications, movies, etc. to my iPod touch. The only way I am able to bypass the message that pops out when I try to sync (the one in the title) is by clicking "Apply" instead of "Sync". To do this, I make changes to Apps, Music, or Movies (...) and the buttons "Revert" and "Apply" will replace the button "Sync".
My problem is most likely not due to using many accounts because I only have one and it is the only one that I use. I do not share accounts with my family members. Still, I have tried everything here, nothing has worked for me. Since I don't often listen to Podcasts, I have deleted them from my iPod. I have no idea why I am unable to sync and no one seems to have the same problem as me.
Thank you for your help in advance.
    Details
    iPod touch, 5th generation
    iOS 8.1.2
    iTunes 12.0.1.26
    Windows 8
    Purchases
Pre-ordered album "Froot" purchased from the account that is authorized to my computer
Podcast "Not Too Deep with Grace Helbig" also purchased from the account that is authorized to my computer

Try backing up to iTunes and restoring from that backup

  • "Computer is no longer authorized" even though when I authorize it, it says it's ALREADY authorized

I'm trying to sync my iPhone with my computer. It says, though that my computer is "no longer authorized for purchased items that are on this iPhone." So I go to Store->authorize, and then it says "this computer is already authorized." (see screenshots for details). But when I try to sync again, it says (again) that it's not authorized.
    I've tried:
-deauthorizing all computers, and re-authorizing the one I want to use
    -removing the SC Info folder
-logging out and back into iTunes
I'd appreciate any feedback or help.
I'm using the most up-to-date OSX Yosemite 10.10.2, with most up-to-date iTunes (12.1.0.50), and my phone is an iPhone 5s with iOS8.1.3.

  • Itunes says my computer is no loger authorized to play/sync music bought on my account. Suddenly is not recognizing updated email address.

Late last year (I believe) I updated the email on file for my itunes account, so that the one on file would be my most up-to-date current email. I have had no problems until now, when, trying to sync my most recently purchased music album to my ipod, a pop up happened saying that my computer was no longer authorized to play music bought with this account, yada-yada, and unless I signed it and r-authorized it, 400+ songs would be removed from the ipod. The original address was what appeared auto-filled. It obviously doesn't work, and while I was able to sign in (multiple times) with my current one, it wouldn't do anything. It IS the same account... when I went to the account page, I could even pull up a list of all the purchases made since 2007. And of course the apple/itunes tech "help" is crap, and I can't get assistance without PAYING the idiots 29$. Any input? As far as I can tell, those tracks were taken off my ipod, as I couldn't DO anything without another popup happening again and again and again, until I just exited out of it enough times.
    -Louisa

That helped a lot, and authorized a few hundred that weren't authorized before. I still have 60, however, that are unable to be authorized.
It asks me to login to my AOL account, which is different from my Apple account. For some reason, that won't work either. Is there a way to link the two together?

  • My Computer is No Longer Authorized to Play Game!!!

When I connected my 5th gen iPod to my computer tonight and launched iTunes, I was presented with a warning saying that my only game (minigolf) was not copied to my iPod because I'm not authorized to play it on my computer.
It's the only iPod game I've purchased and it's been on this computer and on my iPod ever since the first week the games were offered for sale.
I de-authorized my computer and then re-authorized it again, but same thing.
The game is no longer on my iPod and I can't copy it from my computer to my iPod.
    Any ideas???

I guess I solved my own problem.
After de-authorizing and re-authorizing didn't work. I signed out of my iTunes account, waited a minute, and signed back in. Then, when I connected my iPod to my computer, the game was recopied back to the iPod.
    Whatever works....

  • My computer was stolen so I deauthorized all computers that had iTunes on them on 10/28/2011.  I have a new computer and it was authorized for iTunes.  When I checked my account it says I have 2 authorized computers, but this one should be the only one.

How can I deauthorize whatever the other computer is?  I don't want whoever stole my old computer to be able to use my iTunes account.

Get all that music back in itunes and sync again.

After getting a new desktop I downloaded iTunes and authorized my new computer and then de-authorized my old one,  When I try to update my 5S it says my phone is not authorized and list my wifes email address as the account holder and not mine.  How do I correct this. I am using Windows 8.1 .  My wife has never had an iTuunes account

    Hello Lakesidetom,
It sounds as though you are experiencing an issue with an Apple ID and authorizations. Based on your post, it sounds like you are familiar with the authorizing and deauthorizing process. The Apple ID in question (your wife's email) may be originating from the iPhone you are attempting to update. Is it possible that your wife created an Apple ID or iCloud account which is signed in on that iPhone? Below, I have included links to some resources that may help you determine if your wife has created an Apple ID:

There is a good Knowledge Base article that helps resolve authorization issues you might want to look over:

"this computer is no longer authorized for applications that are installed on the ipad "name of ipad" Would you like to autoriize for items purchased from the itunes store?
if you do not autorize ....
Why am I getting this message I only have 1 computer the ipad connects to, it hasnt changed so why do I suddenly have to autorize it again????

I've gotten the same issue now on my ipad.
My mac mini is authorized. I only have ONE itunes account. I sync my original ipad today and I get this message. So i say sure authorize, even tho it is. Enter login and password, comes back with this computer is already authorized. I knew that but ok. hit ok. Up pops message that this computer is no longer authorized, blah blah blah. Ok ill try again. Authorize credentials entered. Get message that computer is already authorized. Itunes is most recent 10.2.1. Ipad is updated to 4.3.1.
I deauthorized computer and reauthorized it. Still get loop.
google for solutions, find lots of problems, no answers outside of reinstall itunes and it "might" work, but not for everyone. Not gonna do that yet.

How about some customer service eh? How about posting a solution to the forums. If you dont have one, at least tell people that.
I get the same bit of attitude when I walk in the apple store. Love the products, have been an apple user since the IIe, but I just want the products I bought from you, the software that I get from you, the music that I buy from you, the apps that I buy from you, etc etc to WORK with each other.
    /rant off
has anyone seen a solution for this.
