Add custom crop groups to lightroom 5

In the crop dropdown in Lightroom. There are a couple groups of crop presets. Is there a way to permantly add a group of custom presets? Using the enter custom option only allows you to add so many before replacing previously added custom ones. I want to know if I can add a permanent set just like adding user presets for editing.

This is not currently possible. Your only customization available is the MRU List of the last 5 Custom Crops.

Per my understanding, you might want to add a custom action group into the list settings page.
In the same way, we can add custom group into “Site Settings” page(C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\settings.aspx) by specifying
the Location attribute to "Microsoft.SharePoint.SiteSettings".
However, in the “List Settings” page(C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\listedit.aspx), the three groups “General Settings”,
“Permissions and Management” and “Communications” are hardcoded there which occupy all the space, it is by design.
As a workaround, you can modify the HTML source code of the “listedit.aspx” to generate a custom group there manually.

Add custom local group with similar power as Windows BUILTIN\Administrators group

In windows 7 or windows 8
Is there any possibility to create a custom Local group having the same power/privileges as it does the BUILTIN\Administrators group.
If yes; how?
For instance: I created a new local group, then in Local Security Policy(secpol.msc) \Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights Assignments I added all the available policies where the Administrators group was also there, then I create a normal
local user and assigned this new customized group, however the user never obtained the sufficient power as it does a user from Administrators group.
Can anyone help?

Lightroom 4 custom crop boundary area display

We post hundreds of sports photos at a time. We set a custom crop 7.5x10 which most closely enables all our supported print aspect ratios (4x6, 5x7, 8x10, etc.). We have to be careful that the important photo elements are NOT in the boundary area inside the crop. I mean we need to keep space inside our standard crop so that regardless of which print size you pick that the trim (either top/bottom or sides depending on the print) will not cut of important photo elements. It would be very helpful if we could have Lightroom 4 display this boundary area with some type of shading. That way when we do the crop we can see if an important photo element is in the boundary area, and then we can increase the crop. Our objective is as tight a crop as appropriate while preserving the boundary area. A visual cue would be most helpful with this work.
I'd appreciate suggestions about how to accomplish this if it is already possible or have Adobe engineers add the visual cue for a configurable boundary area inside the crop.

I understand what you are getting at. I went into PS and created a series of shape layers at the specified ratios and then centered them. I then expanded each proportionally so that there long side was 10 inches. On a portrait oriented photo there is a portion on the left and right that cropped on a 5x7 or 4x6. I tinted the shapes and then masked out the center area. I then save this as a .png file with the intent of using it as a watermark. This worked but is an after the fact confirmation.
While in the crop tool you can press the "O" key and rotate through different crop guides. The last one is a grid. (works the same in LR3) When I had the crop aspect ratio set to 7.5 x 10 (which LR4 simplfied to 3x4) this shows for me as a 12 wide by 16 long grid. Coincidentally, the crop danger zone appears to be very close to exactly one grid in width.
I don't know if this is a "close enough" solution for you.
**** I'm glad I didn't hit send before going back and looking at LR4 again. This works on a full size image with a maximum size crop. But if you starting shrinking the crop the grid size changes. Now if Adobe could maintain the grid so it ALWAYS shows in say 10 percent increments, then your danger zone would always be the left most and right most 10 percent.

Hi,
This is what I did for FBL5N with a developer because additional fields configuration does include certain tables.
BTE1650 available for FBL5N and add a new field into one of those tables as an append structure and then use a BTE to populate the field for FBL5N.

Custom Cropping in Lightroom

I want to crop my images to 840 px by 473 px but when I enter those numbers for a custom crop in Lightroom it defaults to 16x9. How can I change this?
I've tried ratios close to 840x473 and multiples of that combination but nothing allows me to get that exact ratio. I need this ratio for formatting on my website. Any help would be appreciated.

In Lightroom, you don't crop to pixel dimensions, you crop to aspect ratio and then EXPORT to pixel dimensions as near as possible at that aspect. If you want to crop to pixel dimensions you will have to use another program, do a lot of draging the crop corners around, or use Rob Cole's XMP CROP plugin.
840X473 is less than one pixel width of aspect ratio off from 16X9 so I can't see why it would cause a problem. Lightroom tries to HELP by rounding the aspect to one in its list and this is really only a display bug/glitch. It actually rounds when the numbers are even further off than this. I agree that if you input 840X473 that Lightroom should just leave the aspect alone. This behavior causes problems/bugs to show up in other places with the crop tool. You can do a portrait crop, as opposed to Landscape.
To get a Portrait crop, create a 4x6 custom preset, click the Aspect tool. When you bring the cursor over the photo you should see this aspect tool rather than the "hand" symbol. Now draw the crop you want. After this you can move the handles, or use the hand tool to refine the crop.
To get a Landscape crop, create a 6x4 custom preset, cllick the Aspect tool and draw the desired crop.
What Is confusing about this process is that if you click the 4x6 preset and then use the handle to refine to crop, you will only get a landscape crop. You must click the Aspect tool to create a portrait.

Feature Request - custom crop default & making canvas larger

Please make lightroom quicker for people who use 8x10 instead of the original proportions from your camera. I am aware of the trick to copy and paste or sync with crop, however if lightroom could have a way to setup at a default custom crop so it loads up that way when first used, and keeps the crop as the default from one photo to the next that would be great!
It would also be nice if when cropping and you need to make the canvas larger and go outside of the original dimensions of the photo that lightroom does this automatically. Right now I only know to use the scaling feature, it would be much quicker to just add this logic to lightroom so it scales outside of the photo when you are cropping if thats what you would like it to do.

Brett I dont think you understand my question. theres two parts to it.
When you crop and select the aspect ratio theres no way to make this a default, so each time when i get to a new image i need to select 8x10 again. if 8x10 was made to be my default lightroom would not crop out some of the pixels unless I choose the crop tool and use the crop tool. I am just looking for lightroom to be faster its annoying how it defaults to the original image dimensions for the crop tool each time you select the crop tool you have to change the crop ratio.
The second request is one that rawshooter used to do automatically when you use the crop tool you can easily crop outside of the dimensions of the photo, thus making the canvas larger. this gives you an image that you can place into photoshop and fill the empty spots, this helps change the composition of the image if shot with the model in the center you can easily move the model with a crop and by filling the background in the new empty space especially easy with a simple background. I hope this helps, its easier to do more with lightroom. i do it right now with the scale feature in lightroom, but it would be faster if lightroom did it automatically if you pull the crop tool outside of the image area. Problems with custom cropping

I'm evaluating Aperture 3 as a replacement for Lightroom and am looking for help with a cropping problem, which is a potential show-stopper. My requirement is to provide a set of images for a web site that are exactly 386x240 pixels.
Using the Crop Tool, I define a custom crop ratio of 386x240 for the first image, and apply it. Then using the Lift & Stamp tool, I apply the same crop ratio to the other images.
Next steps in the workflow are to adjust the crop area on each image, then export the group of images to "fit within 386x240".
But when I go back through the images to adjust the actual crop area, that's where the problem comes up. Aperture chooses NOT to remember the custom ratio of 386x240 I have applied to each image. Rather it replaces that ratio in the Crop Tool with it's pre-defined "Main Display Aspect Ratio" of 1920x1200, and applies that ratio when the crop area is adjusted! As a result, the exported image ends up the wrong size.
So it seems Aperture is making an incorrect decision about the existing ratio when adjusting the crop. (My ratio is close to the Main Display ratio, but not the same; my ratio extrapolates to 1930x1200, not 1920x1200).
I'll admit to being new to Aperture with version 3, but this seems like a bug. Shouldn't Aperture remember the exact custom ratio I initially applied to each image? Is there anything wrong with the steps in my workflow? Any ideas as to how to make this work? Thanks.

Wow...if this has been going on since Aperture 2 then Apple's engineers either (1) don't care, or (2) think they have a useful "smart" feature. Unfortunately, when software tries to be too smart it sometimes fails. On the surface, this is a simple fix. If an image custom crop ratio is not in the predefined list, LEAVE IT ALONE! Don't make any assumptions on the user's behalf and change it to something that isn't wanted.
Also, as discussed in a related thread, the lack of a capability to save and manage custom crop ratios for use in the future is another shortcoming in cropping functionality.
Aperture 3 has a lot of great features going for it, especially as compared to LR2. Unfortunately, cropping isn't one of them.

All,
Issue is fixed with the following steps.
- Make sure the Shipping Method has enabled the the option "Web Enabled"
- Login to EBS-Oracle and click on iStore Administrator responsibility
- Navigate to Shipping
- Add the shipping method which is activated 'Web ENabled' option to the current site.
In order to check the Shipping Methods fot the current site, check the outputs of the following SQLs.
Atleast 1 row should be identical from the following SQL output

How to add Custom code in Report Painter

Hi All,
I have a requirement to add Authorization checks at Profit Center Level for 8A-PCA001G report. This is the first time am working on Report Painter/Writer. I am wondering whether i can add custom code or not. Please suggest me how to do this. I copied 8A-PCA001G into a zreport but did not find anywhere to add custom code.

Hi Kumar,
You cannot write custom code (0% coding) in an Report Writer/Painter report. The code is generated by SAP while generating the Report group. The only place in a report writer report where you can write very minimal code is at varables level or formulas inside reports.
At the report group header level, there is provision to provide authorization group. Try that.

How to add custom field to ical

Hi
I run a small business from my mac pro and my iphone. I would like to get a good workflow but it seems I am missing a few bits of information.
First I would like to add custom fields to ical so that I can gather all the information I need in one spot. For example, I create a meeting with new client Tim Smith on Friday so I want to enter his name and contact info into ical because I need his address and phone number on the event so I can reference it.
Then I would like to find a way to automatically create a contact card based on that information. If I can find an apple script that reads the fields in Ical and creates new contacts based on new events that I created.
Then I would like to automate extracting the email addresses to send out preformed group mailers for people who were in my calendar that day ie "Thanks for meeting with me, I think we got a lot accomplished and hope to see you at the next meeting." etc etc
Then also automate reports based off of my ical events such as "Report for how many times I had a meeting in the Blue Room this week" or "How many times did I meet with Timothy Smith" this year
I have tried automator and it doesn't seem strong enough to do this so I am thinking AppleScript but I am not very good at it. Anyone have any ideas on any of these issues?

Add, delete and group fields in Application Area of transaction CIC0

In the transaction of CIC0, I have the requirements of:
- Delete the field "Function" corresponding to the Business Partner 1, all the fields corresponding to Business Partner 2, all the fields corresp. to IBase, and the fields: "Address type" and "Fax" for Address.
- Change the title of "Business Partner 1" to "Third-Party".
- Add fields of: ZIP Code, Mobile Phone in the Adress.
- Group the fields of ***: Masculin, Femenin or Unknown, now in 3 different fields, in a combo.
So, I searched info in this forum, and it said to go to the trans. SMW0, copy the Object Web "CRM_CIC_SEARCH_DISPLAY", to a Z. So I copied it to: "Z_CRM_CIC_SEARCH_DISPLAY".
I downloaded the .htm from Z_CRM_CIC_SEARCH_DISPLAY from this transaction, and I edited it to delete the fields not required.
So I opened the .htm in IE and Mozilla, and it showed good.
But, now it's the problem. I've read that in trans. CRM_CIC_SEARCH_RULE (or going from SPRO to this trans.), it should be linked the BPSEARCH Attributes, when appears "CRM_CIC_SEARCH_DISPLAY", put "Z_CRM_SEARCH_DISPLAY" (my Z).

And for adding fields, should I editing the HTML, or should I add fields in these structures: CCMBP1FIELDS, CCMBP2FIELDS, and then editing the HTML and adding these Z fields, then editing the function module used for searching (it's found in SPRO, in Search Strategies)
To change the title of "Business Partner 1" to "Third-Party", I think it should be done in the HTML too, right?.
To group the *** in a combo, how should it be done?.

Hi,
I also need to add custom fields to Basic data view. After copying & changing the screen sequence in Config, I could able to see the custom fields in Basic Data view.
I have appended structure with custom fields to MARA table.
But the values I enter in the screen is not getting updated to the table MARA.
Can you please let me know the code, I should have have in PAI (Process After Input) module in the Sub Screen to update the values?

Add Customer Field while posting Journal Entry

BSEG-KUNNR is not exposed while posting journal entry using FB01. It is not available in the field status group also. How to add customer number field in the field status group to make it available during posting journal entry using FB01.

1, There is a known issue in a lower version before 2005A SP01 PL30when you try to run a retirement operation for a fixed asset with Net Price equal to the Net Book Value, it failed and you got the following error message:
21141 error while posting journalentry: -5012 /Unbalanced Transaction.
If you are in this scenario, please upgrade your Fixed Assest to the latest patch.
2. If you are not in above scenario, this problem is possibly caused by the incorrect configuration of accounts in G/L
Account Determination.
There should not be 'Default VAT Group' related to these accounts except for account 'Default Revenue Acc. Retirement' in G/L Account Determination.
1) Go to Administration - Setup - Fixed Assets - Open G/L Account Determination;
2) Select an Account Determination Group;
3) Under the G/L Account Determination window, open the account linked to 'Balance Sheet of Asset Acc.' by clicking on the yellow arrow;
3) The Chart of Accounts window will open, click on the'Account Details' button beneath the window to open G/L Account Details;
4) Empty the field 'Default VAT Code';
5) Execute the Retirement functionality again.

Can I save custom crop values?

Is it possible to save custom crops to ACR 2.1.1.9 ?
I have a client who needs event images cropped to 1056px x 594px to use in Intranet presentations displayed on large monitors in their hallways.
I use 10.56 x 5.94 in the custom crop in ACR to do this. But whenever I crop an image to another size (ones that might go in their newsletter) I lose the custom setting and have to re-enter again and again to 10.56 x 5.94.
I typically process a few hundred 'candidates' from their events (2-3 per month) and the image dimensions never change. Is there a way to add this custom crop value to the choices in the pull-down list?

That seems a good suggestion for the future request.
Meantime I believe you can only do this in PSCS using the tool presets
