Add custom local group with similar power as Windows BUILTIN\Administrators group

In windows 7 or windows 8
Is there any possibility to create a custom Local group having the same power/privileges as it does the BUILTIN\Administrators group.
If yes; how?
For instance: I created a new local group, then in Local Security Policy(secpol.msc) \Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights Assignments I added all the available policies where the Administrators group was also there, then I create a normal
local user and assigned this new customized group, however the user never obtained the sufficient power as it does a user from Administrators group.
Can anyone help?

You do not need to involve Creative Cloud to install/try the trial version of CS5...
You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

Builtin 'Administrators' Group for Server 2003 network isn't available for grant

All,
I'm working on a migration from Win Server 2003 to Win Server 2012. Our domain controllers are still both Windows 2003 machines. For this part of the migration, I'm dealing just with relocating some files from a 2003 file server.
While relocating a network share from a Windows Server '03 file server to a Windows Server 2012 file server, I found I was not able to grant the builtin "DOMAIN\Administrators" security principle access to the share. In fact, it's as if the group
does not exist.
On Windows Server 2003, on a folder you wish to share: Right-Click > Properties > Security > Add > Advanced
Searching for "administrators" locates the group. The same steps from the Windows Server 2012 server does not.
The 2012 server is on the domain and I'm searching the same domain tree in each case. I have also ensured that I'm searching every possible object type (via the "Object Types") button on the search.
Other security principles are visible. For example, my own login is available, as are other security groups. In both cases, I am logged into the server as the domain administrator.

...Hm. I can't add the built in Administrators group to another security group on the Windows Server 2003 domain controller.
Edit: What I mean to say is, I run into the same problem. Attempting to add the builtin Administrators group to an already existing security group on the 2003 server leads to an error -- there is no Administrators group, according to the DC.

Cisco Tidal 5.3.1 Job Group with (2) completed and the first job group (1) still waiting on Dependency.

We have a job group i.e. Job Group A that creates a second instance of the job group Job Group A (2) and completes normally. The problem is we have another job group that is dependent on Job Group A (1) so it never runs until we cancel the first job group or set it as completed. What could be inserting the Second occurrence of the JOB Group?

This sounds like a repeating job/group with new occurrences. Check out the Options tab for both group and job-levels

The correct setting should be:
Group Options, If job is running, then Run Anyway
Job Options, If job is running, then Defer until Normal or Defer Until Complete
which means if any of the deferred options are selected, the second occurrence will wait until job is completed normally (Defer Until Normal), or wait until job either completes normally or abnormally (Defer Until Complete)
Now I wonder what causes the second instance to complete normally and not the first instance.

Power switch does not stay luminated when power is on. Stays on when I press F5. How do I get it to stay on full time when the power is on. I have two of these and the other one does stay lit when ever power is turned on.

User is not a member of the Administrators group but they Can Access anything the Administrators group is assigned to!!

Did a Server migration from Server 2003 to Server 2012 R2. Virtualized the Domain controller and a File Server.
Used Robocopy, icacls and takeown to get the permisions and access to work correctly.
One user we will call here Mary is a member of three groups: HR, HRA and Boardroom but when I give a test file Administrators only access she can breeze right in!
I do not know if this was how it worked before the migration but how do I stop it.
Effective permissions appear correct but she just tra-la-la's right on in!
Any ideas?

Please do this after you verify all permission settings for all the groups the account is associated with. Also, make sure you check the NTFS folder permissions before doing this as well.
Since the same result happens on multiple computers, it is not the profile.
I am recommending you delete the AD account (or rename to backup the account).
It will not effect the users Exchange account, but you will need to link it back to the new AD user account.
You can also delete her profile just to remove it, for the "just in case" scenario.

AD DS auditing events for each operation that are audited and appear in the Security event log are: event 5136 indicates the operation “modify”, event 5137 indicates the operation “create”, event 5138 indicates
the operation “undelete”, event 5139 indicates the operation “move”,
event 5141 indicates the operation “delete”.
Note: These events are displayed in Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2. As Mike said, the event id depends on the version of the OS. If the OS you are running is not that, please
tell us.
In addition, it would be helpful if you can tell us the method that you use to audit the group changes.

Can't play Starcraft in local netw. with my MacBook under Windows

Hi all,
I am experiencing a really strange problem. I have installed Windows on my MacBook with Bootcamp 1.3 and I tryed to play Starcracft with some friends in my local network. We all had the same version of the game; the strange thing is that I can see the created game but I cannot join it ("Unable to join game"). I have tryed Starcraft forums and did not find anything that could help. I think it might be the network card's drivers but I am not convincend about that. Could it be an incompatibility? or is there some kind of patch for Machintosh computers?

- The number range is created in XDN1.
- The number range is assigned to the account group "Stock Transfer - Depot" in SAP Customizing Implementation Guide>Financial Accounting>Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable>Customer Accounts>Master Data>Preparations for Creating Customer Master Data>Assign Number Ranges to Customer Account Groups
Remember - If you are entering an external number it generally means the number is created in an external system and replicated to your system.
Help - Check what external number was used last by doing SE16 on table KNA1 and use the account group "Stock Transfer - Depot" as a selection parameter.

Hi,
This is what I did for FBL5N with a developer because additional fields configuration does include certain tables.
BTE1650 available for FBL5N and add a new field into one of those tables as an append structure and then use a BTE to populate the field for FBL5N.

With the above code, I get all the 101 rows, but I would like to get only one row (a, b, c), since all the rows are the same. Therefore I wrote the custom comparer class. I'm new to this and I'm not sure, that I use it correct.
Can you advise me, how should I modify the code to get only one row?

Nested User Groups (Groups In Groups) to add in Local Built-in Administrators group of a workstation

Hi,
I'm a little bit confused with the way Microsoft design the nested groups.
Scenario:
We implement Restricted groups group policy to control the members of built-in Administrators group of every workstation in our office. The design was, to make managers domain user account to be member of built-in Administrators group of their subordinates
workstations if ever they need administrative rights. So, result was there were many group policies created because we have some 30 departments. We come up to the solution that we create a domain global security group and add all the managers account as members
and corporate help desk group, create a one single policy and join the created global security group, corporate help desk group and domain admins group to the built-in Administrators group of every workstation.
Problem:
We test the policy before we implement it, and a member of our created global security group successfully done an administrative action. But when we implement it, some manager user account doesn't recognize as administrator to the workstation. We did a little
bit of research and supports the idea that nested groups was not good in the implementation of Nested groups.

Question:
Why is there a different effect of the policy? In our testing environment, it was successful, even a member of a nested group successfully done an administrative action, but some members of the global group declared as local Administrator group of the workstation

How many group memberships does this account have?
run "dsquery user -samid <userid> | dsget user -memberof -expand" to
enumerate.

Add Windows 7 local administrators group to another local group

So I have the local group MyLocalGroup and I need to add the local Administrators group as member of MyLocalGroup
I'm working with Windows 7 Professional with Windows Management 4
I have tried:
[ADSI]$LocalAdmonistratorGroup="WinNT://$Env:COMPUTERNAME/Administrators,Group"
[ADSI]$MyUsersGroup="WinNT://$Env:COMPUTERNAME/MYLOCALGROUP,Group"
$MyUsersGroup.Add($LocalAdmonistratorGroup.Path)
Exception calling "Add" with "1" argument(s): "A member could not be added to or removed from the local group because the member does not exist."
BUT:
$LocalAdmonistratorGroup.Add($MyUsersGroup.Path)
It's work! And MyLocalGroup is member of administrator.
I have made some test and:
1. A user can be added to any local group (ok)
2. A local group can be member of any local group (ok)
3. A group or a user can be added to local Administrators group
4. If I try to add local administrators group as member of any other local group I receive the error!
How I can add the Local Administrators group as member of another local group using PowerShell (with interface work)?

Nesting local groups (add a local group to the group membership of another local group on the same client )is not recommended.
Refer to:
Nesting of local groups is not supported on workstations or member servers
If we execute this operation via Computer Management Interface, it will produce error.
Some group authoring tools can add local Group To local Built-in Groups, however, our suggestion is to never nest local groups even when it is allowed by a group authoring tool like “net local group” because such nesting doesn’t reflect the group expansion
constraints and the end results would be different from the expected results.”
