Add editable fields in smartforms

Hi,
I'm working with smartforms (CRM) and i wonder to know if its possible to create a kind of blank fields that allow the user to insert some free text right before print the form?
Thanks a lot in advance,
Nuno Moreira

YES !
What kind of document would you like to print ? For example if you go in VL03N, you could enter text at different level, in the ITEM in the HEADER, all this text is saved into SAP tables.
You could read this text with the function READ_TEXT.
The text will be dependent of the document and will be print if it exist.
That's not what you ask ?

  • Add/Edit fields in EMC

I'm using Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. Using the Management Console I open a user's mailbox properties and I'd like to add/edit the fields under the "address and Phone" tab. Is this possible?
For example, we'd like to add an "extension" field. Or even replace "pager" with "extension".
    Any help is appreciated, thanks!

No, you can not edit the label in EMC itself but if you are thinking to just make it visible in Address book for end users then you can take a look at Details Template Editor to modify it and add fields with whatever label you want...
Details Template Editor > Details Templates > Details Template (RTM)

  • Add/Edit Fields Issue

I am trying to add a field to a document (I do this frequently, so I am familiar with the process), unfortunately I am not able to place the field where I need to in the document.  I am being restricted where I can place a field.  Is there a way to rectify this?  I have tried mutliple documents to test if it was a corrupt document issue - does not appear to be.

It may be that you accidentally turned on the snap to grid feature.

  • How to add fields in smartform

    Hi,
I  would like to add some fields in standard smartform for outbound delivery ( VL03N ). Actually, I formatted smartform accourding to clent requirement. But I am not getting how to add some fields in that. Please, help me with any example.
    Thanks ...

    Hi Manoj,
it depends: If the values for new fields are passed in any interface structures/tables, just add in the eight context.
If not, you must insert a Program lines node.
This tutorial may be helpful as your smartforms experience may be limited:

  • Can't see "Add or Edit Fields" menu in Acrobat 9 Standard v9.5.2

I am trying to edit the fields of an Adobe form from one of my co-workers.  We both are running Acrobat 9 Standard v9.5.2.  She is able to see the Forms-->"Add or Edit Fields" menu, while I cannot.
I cannot get this menu item to show?  Can someone tell me if there is an option or setting to enable so that I can get to this menu item?
Here is a screenshot of the form:
Here is a screenshot of the Adobe Acrobat version we are running:
    Thanks,
      Ted

Finally found a work around to my problem.  Here are the steps:
    (1) The original form.  Note missing "Add or Edit Fields" menu item.
    (2) Click on Document-->Extract Pages
    (3) The following dialog pops up.  Since I am only working with a 1 page form I accept the defaults and click OK.
    (4) The following window is launched.  Now I just save the newly generated form:
    (5) Now when I check the Forms menu, I finally see the "Add or Edit Fields" item:  Yay!!!!
    (6) In checking the Document Properties of the new form, the Application (PScript5.dll)  and PDF Producer (GPL Ghostscript 8.15) metadata is still the same as before:
Still don't know why I couldn't get to the "Add or Edit Fields" menu item in the original form.  After doing the Extract, now I am able to get to it.   At this point that's all I care about right now.
Thanks George for helping me investigate this issue!

  • I have a fillable form that's already been made. I need to edit fields by moving them and I need to add new fields. How do I do that?

I have a form that was made by someone else. I need to move fields and add new fields in the same box. How do I do that?

If the form was created in Acrobat and you have Acrobat, you should be able to edit the fields by selecting: Tools > Forms > Edit
This is for Acrobat 11. If the PDF has security restrictions that prevent editing or was created with LiveCycle Designer, you won't be able to edit it in Acrobat. If security was applied, you'll need to know the password in order to remove it to allow editing.

    Creating the Standard Text:
    Go to SO10
    1. Enter Text Name.  For example, ZABC
    2. Text ID ST
    3. Language EN
    Click on Create.
And enter the Required Information and save.
To include a Standard text in SmartForm.
    Follow the steps below:
    1. Create a text node in the window.
    2. Under general attributes select "Include text" as Type.
    3. Specify the fields under Text.
    Text Name ZABC
    Text Object TEXT
    Text ID ST
    Language EN.
    Hope it helps.
    Regards.

  • How to add additional fields to zreport which contains standard report code

    Hi Experts,
In order to add additional fields to standard report i copied the code into zreport but i am unable to  add additonal field into report because the code is looking so complex.
    standard report:AQZZ/SAPQUERY/FKF1============
         or
    sapmenu->accounting->financial accounting->accounts payable->information system->reports for accounts payable accounting->master data->S_ALR_87012087-Addresslist.
Additional feilds to add is :Region, company code, country
Please let me know how toidentify ALV and guide me how to solve this.
    Regards,
    naresh.

    Hello Naresh,
First check whether these three fields are available in the text elements area.
Please write your code in the subroutine %comp_ldesc.
Repeat the code for your three new fields
    perform ldesc(rsaqexce) using 'G00010000X010       00  A1'
        %txt1 %txt2 %txt3 'LFA1-LIFNR' LFA1-LIFNR 'LFA1-LIFNR'.
      read table %textpool_langu into %textpool_langu_line
                                 with key ID = 'I' key = 'A01'.
      if sy-subrc is initial. %txt1 = %textpool_langu_line-entry.
      else. %txt1 = %txt_unknown.
      endif.
So this subroutine will give you the basic list. Now Program is creating ALV with this basic list. So I think you don't need to worry about that. Please have a thorugh look at the code over this perform, and write accordingly.
    I think this is enoogh.
Please update if you got the solution, which will be informative for others.
    regards,

  • How To Add Additional Fields When Creating New Contact From w/in Mac Mail?

Hi there. When in Mac Mail and clicking on contact information provided within an email, we are able to either (1) CREATE NEW CONTACT or (2) ADD TO EXISTING CONTACT (by clicking on the arrow next to a phone number, address, etc.). If I choose "Create New Contact," how can I add additional fields BEFORE clicking on "Add to Address Book" button in lower right corner? Let's say, for example, I know this new contacts URL or company. (Currently, I am creating the new contact from within Mac Mail and then going to Address Book and finding the contact, then editing, the adding the additional fields, then saving, and then going back to Mac Mail. This all takes time.)
Note: When creating a new iCal event from within Mac Mail, we can click on Option/Alt key when selecting drop-down arrow...and this will allow us to add additional information. The same feature isn't available for address book???

I have the exact same question and problem. If there was a way to automatically open the AB entry after "creating new contact" this would solve it.
    Thanks for any suggestion

  • Editable fields in oracle report

    Hi,
I am hoping someone can help what I am trying to create is a PDF oracle report with an editable field at the end of the report. The user would use this field to type comments about the report and then save the file with the comments attached.
I did a search but couldn't really find anything relevant apart from this thread here: Re: How to add to report in pdf format editable fields but it looks like that was never answered.
Users have access to Adobe Acrobat so an alternative solution could be just to create a rectangle and tell the users to write in that but it is not an ideal solution.
If it is not possible in oracle reports we are also licensed for BI Publisher but as of yet I haven't been able to find anything that would do this using that tool either.
    Regards,
    Chad

with an editable field at the end of the report. In Reports the user cannot add text after generation of the report. So, do it before generating the report. Add a parameter p_comment to the data model and add this to the parameter form (or whatever form you use to call the report, e.g. from Forms) and create a text field at the end of the report.

  • How to add a field in standard tcode pa30 with info type 21.

    Hi Experts
I need to add a field Child Allowance Entitlement in PA30 transaction where infotype is 21, this field is available in table P0021 but which is not active in standard transaction.
I just check in SPRO Settings - > Personnel Management - > Personnel Administration -> Customizing user Interface -> Change screen modificaion -> in that i gave the module pool number as mp002100 and screen number as 2000. the field is not shown there. but in alternative screen 2005 that field is available how can i display that field in the standard transaction pa30 with infotype 21.
Can anyone please suggest me to display the field in the standard transaction.
    Regards,
    Vijayan.R

    Hi Vijayan,
to modify the infotype screen for your purposes, you have to maintain feature P0021 as mentioned above, in order to obtain your screen modifier.
Usually this modifier is equal to your corresponding MOLGA.
This modifier is then used in V_T588M, when you can assign alternate screen modification to your modifier.
    Let`s say :
    Modifier 06 - France -    Screen 2000
Modifier 01 - Germany - Screen 2000 with some hidden fields.
    I hope it helps
    Best regards
