Add Email Device in IBots

Hi All,
I am facing issue with IBots. Actually go to Settings ----> My Accounts-------> we are in My Account Page we have Device Options under devics we have tabs like Email,Phone,Pager,Handled and Others. In Email tab it has to apper "Add Email Device " but am facing issue with this is not shoing in My Account Page.
Could u please help me how to reslove this one.

Actually in our instance config.xml file we dnt see the
<IgnoreWebcatDeliveryProfile>true</IgnoreWebcatDeliveryProfile>
<UpperCaseRecipientNames>true</UpperCaseRecipientNames>
the above tags in our instanceconfig.xml file..
what we did was we added above two tags into our instanceconfig.xml file.But still its not showing and we are facing issue .
so what we can do we need to add some other tags in instanceconfig.xml file or do we need other configurations.

I have my LDAP configuration working and sets the variables USER, DISPLAYNAME and now also EMAIL successfully.
I now want to add a email device for each user to be able to use ibots.
Is there a way to this without letting each user sign in and manually enter their email-adress under "My account" ?
All users has signed in before.

As far as I know the only other way to achieve what you want is through use of SA_SYSTEM subject area, and its asscociated database table it uses. In theory you could populate the SA_SYSTEM table using a pl/sql package that queries your LDAP directory. When the user logs in , the BI Server checks this table and the user delivery profiles for ibots are held there.

I am trying to add my old laptop to synch after re-imaging. following the directions I go to Synch/preferences/'Add a Device'

I added my Mobilephone (HTC Desire Z, Android 2.2, FF 4.0b5) manually:
In the Firefox-Browser ON MY MOBILE:
1) Swipe left, tap the '''settings '''icon and select the '''Preferences''' tab
2) Under the Sync section, tap '''Connect '''
3) From the Connect to Sync screen, tap '''I'm not near my computer.'''..
4)Next, enter your Account Name (email address), Password, Sync Key and tap 'Connect'
These instructions can also be found on the Helppage which opens instead of the 'Add a device' window ;-)

Trying to add email to FaceTime

Trying to add email but says its already in use but when someone tries to call it doesn't work, and when I try to change my user I'd it doesn't take it. I want to change my original apple I'd but can't. I change to a me.com account

I don't know how I did this, but I created a new sync account and now when I try to sync on either computer it wants me to go to the other computer and add a device. I've tried to start over without any success.

This happens when you PC disconnects from the sync server. If you go to Tools > Options and then the Sync tab in Firefox 4 and it's not showing your email address with options to manage your sync account, then you've been logged out.
From that window you need to press Connect and use the option "I don't have the device with me" which will allow you to reconnect to the sync server using your email address and sync key you first got when you created the account.
Once you've logged back in, the option to enter the phone's pass code will appear.

I have downloaded the Firefox Sync add on but when I select "add a device" it launces a help page which tells me to click "add a device" - endless circle!

Sorry about that. The help pages have been updated for the new "Add a device" process in Firefox 4, but the add-on for Firefox 3.6 is still using an older, different process.
You can download the Firefox 4 release candidate here and use the new "easy setup" process described in the help pages: http://firefox.com/rc
Or if you prefer to stick with Firefox 3.6, then instead of clicking "Add a device" on your computer, press the "Connect" button on your phone or other device, then click on "I am not near my computer..." and enter your email address, password, and sync key. Option for to create or add email address in email setup in not display. What could be reason. Can anyone suggest me for this.

I'm not quite sure exactly to what you are referring...can you provide more complete details please? For example, are you not able to create a hosted (e.g., @carrier or @BB) email address? Or is it that you cannot add into the email configuration your existing (e.g., Yahoo, GMail, etc.) account?

Trying to add a device, web site says I have an order pending and I can't add until completed ?

I'm trying to add a device and the web site says I can until the pending order is complete.. Yet I have no pending orders at least authorized by me.. and the help and chat assistance is non-existence.. worrisome that there might be some kind of order pending with out my OK, and you can't chat with any reps about it... ..

So this is how I'm here poking around.
Verizon I have a mobile hotspot.. it used at times in Monterey, CA . by Lori.
My company gave me a Verizon Smart phone (removed). this is primarily for work. there plan.
I've been told I can use it at will, but it's still not to me a personal line.
With at&t I have 3 lines shared minutes etc, and home internet though uverse (at&t)
So I have a mixed bag I'd like to clear up to one low easily managed service.
I'd rather not incur additional cost trying to switch out all the phones etc
Like to keep current phone numbers.
The home internet (uverse) double my rate last month (end of promo) to 42 a month. not happy about that and am canceling that asap and returning there modem. I don't need much more than reading e-mail and such for my desktop computer, and netbook I use at wifi when needed (free hotspots etc).
my wireless (cell phones) 3 lines 1400 minutes runs 130 a month. I'm not using that much anymore as the company phones picking up all the business calls now.. (they drop the cellular reimbursement money from my paycheck).
the 1400 plan I had unlimited email no data free friends family (a list) grandfathered.
One phone is a Pantech breeze III (p2030) (removed) (think it's locked)
#2 phone AT&T Z221 (removed) (think it's locked)
my phone #3 is a sony-ericsson C905 (unlocked) bit it's having problems (slider open disconnect calls sometimes and static. Ok using Bluetooth closed slider) (removed).
So let me know if you can come up with a way to save me time and of course money.
I personally think I could share data off my existing account for my desktop here, as I'm mainly interested in doing e-mail on my home computer.

I don't have the option to add a device on either the iphone or the computer. Both devices tell me to go to "add a device" and neither device give me that option.

I set up sync and downloaded firefox home which I opened. I clicked I already had a sync account and it asked me to add the passcode to my computer under add a device, which is not an option that comes up. Only thing that comes up on my vista computer is set up sync which tells me to go to add a device on my iphone which also does not come up. It is a never ending loop. I tried entiring the passcodes that come up on both devices in both devices alternating codes but none work and they also keep changing.

I made my own apple id because my family was getting my texts from other people. I want to add my device to my dads find my iphone app on his icloud but can't figure out how, without having to log in to his apple id on my phone. how do i add my device?

I made my own Apple ID because when I was logged into my dad's my family was receiving my texts from other people. I want to add my device to my dad's "find my iphone" app but without signing into his Apple ID on my phone because that was causing them to get my texts. I was told by Apple I could add my device to his by signing into icloud.com but there is no option that I can find to add my device. And I don't want to log back in to his.. Any ideas???

Also when I apply the safety copy it only imports the app the phones have had in common, so none of the apps that only the iPhone 4 had doesn't come in, only the ones I and the iPhone 4 has had in common. So you say the only way I can use the Apple ID to download on the old iPhone 4 is if I delete the apps that are in the phone and then download them again? How will that change the ID to download/update from. Won't it still have mine to update/download from?

Windows 8 Add a Device not finding all of my IP printers

Hello all. My organization is migrating to Windows 8. We currently use IP printers in our offices (24 locations total). Currently, in XP, we have a customized powershell script that allows users to locate a printer and install it. In windows
8, we'd like users to be able to click Add a Device.... scan the network, see their printer, and install it. Im testing this on a subnet in the main office with a few test machines running Windows 8.
The problem is, when i click Add a Device, only 3 printers show up (there should be a dozen or so). I have tried to compare the settings on the printers that show up to those that do not, but i dont see any differences. I have tweaked the settings
on several of the printers with no affect. We have a few different models, HP 4345 all-in-ones, 4700 color laserjets, 4300 laserjets, and 4515 laserjets. We also have some Xerox 9203 and 5790 models. Only the Xerox 9203 and HP 4515 printers
show up.
I have tried using some of the settings discussed here:

Considering that the issue is caused by network issue.
Please firs try to ping the IP of the printer which doesn't display.
If it fails, we can see that the printer is not configured correctly on the network, please reset it again.
If we can ping the printer IP successfully, please try if we can install the printer via the UNC address: \\host\computerIP.
If your device has a wireless switch, make sure it’s turned on. The switch could be on the front, back, or side, and it could be small and unmarked. Check the info that came with your device to see if a picture shows where it’s located.
Post back the testing results.

How do you "Add a Device" from the iOS remote app multiple times?

Anyone know a way to trigger the "Add a device" feature in the iOS remote app after you've already added one?
I have multiple Apple TVs scattered around the house and multiple people who would like to use them. I have home sharing set up through my Apple ID so this works great for me. For everyone else, I'd rather not sign my account in on their devices, even if its just for home sharing. They can "Add a device" in the remote app to connect to one of the Apple TVs, but only one.
I'm using iOS 8, iPhone 5s and 6, Apple TVs 2nd and 3rd Gen

I would rather not sign my account into other people's devices.
As I mentioned, I already have my own devices signed into home sharing.
Alternatively, is there a way to get an Apple TV attached to multiple home sharing accounts?
