Add in chart for Excel in Mac 2011

is anyone aware of an add in for Excel for Mac 2011 for a Cascade Chart? (not a waterfall / bridge). An example can be seen at https://www.add-ins.com/cascade_charts.htm
The developer at this site only has the chart for PC.

TDMS Add-in for Excel stopped working

Hi-
I have the TDMS Add-In installed for Excel and it was working fine, until I installed LV 8.6 (not sure if that's what did it, but that's the only change made to the machine..) Once LV 8.6 was installed the TDMS Add-In started showing up in the "National Instruments Software" section of Add/Remove Programs whereas it was "Excel TDM Add-in" prior.
The behaviour is that the Toolbar buttons show, but when you press them nothing happens.
I've tried un-installing TDMS Add-In from Windows CP, that removed the toolbar from Excel, but re-installing the TDMS Add-In doesn't fix it (buttons still do nothing).

I was looking through the posts, and thought this was rather interesting - I have seen/delt with customers using this in LabVIEW 8.6. They've never reported any issues.
I would agree with michelle, with the questions.
I am aware that labVIEW 8.6 and the Report Generation Toolkit needed to be upgraded to 1.1.3 and only works for new versions of Office (which caught customers out), could it be, that your using an older version of Excel...
However, when Im back in the office tomorrow - I will try out the toolkit with LabVIEW 8.6 - as I am yet to try it out.
Please respond with more information.

MS Office Mac 2011 CD Wont Run

HI,
When i insert the installation CD for MS Office Mac 2011, the CD drive runs-stops-runs-stops etc and eventually spits back out the CD; why won't it read launch the disk properly?
The CD drive works as other CDs are read correctly and without issue.

Sounds like it might be an issue with the DVD itself. Try giving it a clean by wiping it down with a lint-free cloth.

Separate chart for each field

I have a table with 74 numerical fields for a given date. The table looks something like
RecordDate Field1
Field2 Field3
.... Field74
I would like a line chart for each field with the value on the Y axis and date on the X axis. That part is easy enough.
The problem is that if I put 74 lines on the same chart it will be unintelligible. Unfortunately I think the best way to observe trends in the data over time is a line chart for each.
I know that I could manually add a separate chart for each one. However, I'd like to dynamically add a chart for each field. We may potentially add Field75 down the road, so avoiding reengineering the report each time is desirable. Is something
like this possible?

If I understand correctly, you want to specify a Chart Area for a Series in order to increase the readability of the chart.
In Reporting Services, the bar, polar, or shape series can only be combined with series of the same chart types in the same chart area. If you are using a Polar or Shape chart, you can consider using a separate chart data region for each field that you wish
to show.

Follow these instructions to uninstall MacKeeper. They have been tested with the most recent version of MacKeeper (v 2.8). Earlier versions than the one released in 2012 require more extensive work to uninstall all its components.
The effects of having actually used MacKeeper to do anything are a completely different matter. If you used MacKeeper to encrypt any files or folders, use MacKeeper to un-encrypt them first.
Quit the MacKeeper app if it is running.
Open your Applications folder: Using the Finder's Go menu, select Applications.
Drag the MacKeeper icon from your Applications folder (not the Dock) to the Trash.
You will be asked to authenticate (twice):
You do not need to provide a reason for uninstalling it:
Just click the Uninstall MacKeeper button. You will be asked to authenticate again.
After it uninstalls you may empty the Trash and restart your Mac. All that will remain is an inert log file that does nothing but occupy space on your hard disk.

Hello All
I have a mac book air runnin 10.7.4 and i have also office 2011.
the company have windows users with office 2007 and 2010.
Excel with pivot tables made at office 2010 cannot be used at office for mac 2011.
Any idea?

Excel14.4.7 (Excel for Mac 2011); can't sort data

Upgraded to Excel for Mac 2011 (v.14.4.7) and cannot sort data. Have read instructions but keep getting error message "missing column/row name"
Tried doing it with box checked "My list has headers" and with the box unchecked....same non-result and error message.
I'm doing something wrong, obviously but can't figure it out. I am totally mystified & frustrated!

You may need to rebuild permissions on your user account. To do this,boot to your Recovery partition (holding down the Command and R keys while booting) and open Terminal from the Utilities menu. In Terminal, type: ‘resetpassword’ (without the ’s), hit return, and select the admin user. You are not going to reset your password. Click on the icon for your Macs hard drive at the top. From the drop down below it select the user account which is having issues. At the bottom of the window, you'll see an area labeled Restore Home Directory Permissions and ACLs. Click the reset button there. The process takes a few minutes. When complete, restart.

I can't print black from excel for mac 2011 anymore only colour. Can print normally from all other programs. Will not work from excel. Will only print colour. Have reinstalled printer drivers with no difference. Brand new mac so should be no font issues. I have to screen print all excel documents to print. Wont work if saved as PDF either. Am looking for suggestions. Have checked all preferences and settings. Tried fine and fast - no difference. Comes out blank. Will only print colour. HELP!

I have a variation of this same problem. I maintain a bunch of Microsoft Excel 97-2004 Workbooks. Some of these documents print in colour (actually a light grey colour), while others print in black ink. I cannot discern the difference between the documents and why the difference in printing.

EXCEL FOR MAC 2011 Date Format Issue

Excel for Mac 2011 14.1.0 on iMac OSX 10.7.5. I see no forum category for Microsoft Office for Mac so just chose iMac. Checked Microsoft site first with no success.
PROBLEM:
In new spreadsheet I selected one column and formatted to date format.
It was working fine. Then after I'd been doing some editing and having issues, I closed the file then opened it again.
The cells/column I'd formatted for dates was showing the date as strange numbers. Like this: Instead of 9/12 it shows 41894.
Even though the individual as well as column cell format is still "Date" with example style of "3/14" selected, it will not work.
I cannot find a way to "Clear Formatting" either -- only Clear Contents.
However, when I cut and paste the cells to another worksheet the date is fine -- but I've lost all my formatting and don't want to start over. Besides, I need to know what is causing the problem.
HELP!! Is this a bug?

Microsoft didn't include that with the 2011 version.
There is a third-party application that substitutes for the add-in: http://www.analystsoft.com/en/products/statplusmac/
They also have a limited, free version.
