Add MARA field to CFM1 - Note 360723 not working

Hello all,
We need to add a selection field to CFM1 (program RIMODGEN) : field packaging MARA-MPROF.
We found OSS note 360723 which seems to meet our requirement.
We did the modifications in specified programs, but there is no result : field 'Packaging' is not displayed as a selection field in CFM1.
Yet, we add MARA-PROF as a SELECT OPTION in include RIMODSEL
SELECT-OPTIONS:
         ma_matnr FOR mara-matnr
           MATCHCODE OBJECT mat1
           MODIF ID ma2
           NO-DISPLAY,
         ma_mprof FOR mara-mprof MODIF ID ma2 NO-DISPLAY,
For what reason this code doesn't make the field display is CFM1 screen ?
Note 360723 is quite old (2002). Do you know if there a similar note for more recent versions ?

Add form fields to tags - not working

I have a fillable form with one simple text form field. I run the "Advanced > Accessibility > Add form fields to tags" but the tags do not change. After I run the command it is grayed out so it looks like it's done. I can save, close and reopen to make that command available again, but it never affects the tags and the accessibility check continues to give the error.
Anyone have that problem or know how to fix it? I'm using Acrobat Pro 9.3.3

Rather than use TORU for form fields why not use the "Find" feature on the Options menu from the Tags panel?
Find "Unmarked Annotations" then use the Tag Element button on the Find Element dialog.
Select "Form" for the element ("tag").
Add something useful to the "Title" field.
[edit: n.b., this method lets you avoid putting a marquee down that inadvertently encompasses undesired text]
This won't affect use of AT but gives you something to locate as you look over the structure tree.
This method puts the <Form> element at the bottom of the structure tree; so, the elements would have to be manually moved to the proper location in the structure.
Alternatively, place focus on the appropriate parent element for the PDF page content.
The new <Form> element will be placed there - still may have to adjust it location in the structure tree - just closer to that location.
As to working within the structure tree when adding elements.
Yes, best practice that.
TORU - Read Order provides a gross/macro view via the highlight(s) and element desination.
Read Order should, in almost all cases, be harmonized to the structure tree's logical hierarchy.
You may find use of the in-line grouping element <Span> useful.

Publishing HTML(Page content) field required field validation is not working

The required field validation is not working on Site Column of type "Full HTML content with formatting and constraints for publishing". I found a link i.e.

which tells this is a hot fix in July 2014 CU . Can anyone help me with what all Fixes are there in July 2014 CU. So that I can update only if it required!

You could add a scripteditor webpart on the newform.aspx page and add client side validation using jQuery.

Automatically Add to iTunes folder is not working in iTunes 10.1

Hello,
I have a problem since the iTunes Update 10.0->10.1.
The "Automatically Add to iTunes" folder is not working in iTunes 10.1.
Whenever I put mp3-files in that folder, iTunes only adds these files when I start iTunes. I put some new files in this folder and nothing happens. Only when I restart iTunes the mp3s are added to my library.

It always worked that way. iTunes only acts on that folder if iTunes is running. It does not have to be playing, but it does need to be open.
If you add files to the Automatically Add folder while iTunes is closed, they will sit there until iTunes is restarted.

Field Exits are not working in ECC6

We upgraded our 4.6C system to ECC6 but after upgradation field exits are not working. What could be the reason.

What operating system are you using?
Which version of camera raw do you have in photoshop cs6?
After you select the Adjustment Brush, the New button should already be enabled.
Then after you draw on an area of the image, the Add button should be enabled, with the option to choose either of the other two buttons; New or Erase
Could you post a screenshot?
Maybe all the adjustment values are set to zero?
(at least one needs to have a value other than zero)

I've found ad-hoc playlist made from ADD TO SELECTED often does not work. Here are other issues:?. Does not add? at all OR only adds after first song selected played2. Cannot swith from ARTISTS to SONGS w/o killing list. This will kill the ongoing list.3. If I make mistake and hit the PLAY button, it wipes out the entire list I'd already made. try reloading the firmware and if that doesnt work try opening the case and cleaning it if there is anything in there. the button may be stuck. and if that doesnt work i dont know what else to sugjest. it seemed to work for me.

Formatted Search for Delivery Date field in SO not working

Hi All
Can anyone help me as to why my formatted search is not working?
I am currently using SAP B1A SP01 Patch 19.
I have created a user query as follows:
SELECT $ [$10.0.DATE] + 5
When I add this to the delivery field within the Sales Order and bring through the saved query which I set to auto refresh when the Posting Date field changes and to Display Saved Values it doesn't work.
Any ideas?

ESS Leave Request - Customer fields default function not working

b. Here is the scenario
1. We are using ESS Leave Request application for employees to request leave. We are using the standard web dynpro java leave request application delivered by SAP.
2. Lately there has been a need to provide a customer field on the request form which will have a calculated value showing up when the employee opens the request
3.We used one customer field called customer01 as per configuration steps.
4. This field appears on the request form when it is opened.
5. Our need is to display a value in that field when the form is opened.
6. SAP/s documentation states that we can use BADI PT_ABS_ARQ to default a value to this field on the form. This value is calculated during runtime dynamically.
7. We have used the method IF_EX_PT_ABS_REQ~SIMULATE_VIA_BLOP for this purpose
8. After activating and coding this implementation, the system does not default anything on the request form when it is opened up.
9. Once the employee hits the review button, this field gets its defaulted value but this is not what we want. We want the system to display this when the form is OPENED, that means at the prepare stage. For this field to appear after hitting the review button is meaningless as the employee needs to make a decision based on the value in this field before hitting the review button.
It almost seems like this BADI is called when the review button is hit and not when the form is opened up. We may be wrong and missing something obvious which one of you can immediately point out, Hence this post.
10. I did go thru the forum at great length and seen that there has been discusion surrounding the need to populate R3 from a value entered into this field. My problem is different wherein, I wish to populate this upfront as display information when the form is opened and then send it back to R3, once the employee submits the request.
Would be grateful if anybody on this forum could point me in the right direction.

Please, can I take this question a little further.
Is it possible to add more fields to the leave request form on the ESS portal. For example, our customer wants additional fields like reason for leave, contact residential and telephone number during leave, Require leave entitlements (Yes/No).
Would appreciate if a reply can be given on if it is possible or not and what to be done if it is possible.

It seems I am installing add-ons ie, ebay sidebar, tweetbeat firsthand, they look installed in the add-on box but are not working at all?

I can go to tools, add ons and choose the add on I want and install it, then restart firefox but although the new add ons show up in the add on list nothing is there, they are not working at all, I am able to click on and change the options but apart from the new add ons do not appear to be there?

I actually have the same exact problem with southwest.com. I think they use AJAX to load the airport cities when you're choosing a flight, perhaps. Normally, when you click the box (or start to type a city) in the "From" box, it pops up a list of airports in a floating box (not a separate browser window). Since upgrading to Firefox 3.6.15, this just doesn't work, and it also keeps me from using southwest.com in general. The calendar links for the departure and return dates are similarly busted.
I tried restarting in Safe Mode, and it is still broken in Safe Mode.
I downloaded the FF4 RC, and that version had no problem. If I switch back to 3.6.15 though, it is still broken. I tried it in Chrome and IE7, and southwest.com works fine. It appears to only be broken in FF 3.6.15.

SRM 7.0 custom field made required in field control but not working

Dear Gurus,
I have added one custom field in the SC, made it mandatory/required with by setting flag in the field control. But i can save/park/order the SC without entering any value in the field.
However, if i set the same option for a standard field like "shopping cart name", the user cannot go further without entering a value. Although I can handle this with the BAdI, but shouldn't this work?

I'd say Yes it should. But it is not working based on my observation. I'd suggest that you create an OSS message and get an official SAP response to this issue.

Field Exit is not working in ecc6.0

hi all,
i have upgraded my system from 4.7 to ecc6.0, there was a field exit 'FIELD_EXIT_QLGO_VM04_A' in 4.7 for QA32, but problem is that it was working in 4.7 but not working in ECC6.0 while codes are the same. can anyone help me that what shud i do?

U can ran the report to manage the field-exit (now I don't remember the name) by SE38 and check if your field-exit is still active and if it's active u can check the system parameter abap/fieldexit by trx RZ10: it has to be set to YES.
Anyway u should consider the field-exit are not supported by SAP from release 4.70.

3.2 program parameters    YES
3.3 Replace $$ and $(..)    YES
