Add microsoft office files to WP

How to add data in word, power point, and excel, to WP? And in what application I can read those files.

Hi rosi_santika,
Are you trying to transfer a Microsoft office document from your PC to your phone? Are you using a Lumia with Windows Phone 8? If yes, see this link http://www.windowsphone.com/en-ph/how-to/wp8/office/sync-documents-using-my-computer for more info. You don't need to install an additional application just to view the files. Like what farby said, You can access it via Office hub.

I cannot save my microsoft office files in cloud

What system version are you running?  If it's Yosemite do you have iCloud Drive enabled in the System/iCloud preference pane?
If so then go to the Finder preferences and add iCloud Drive to the sidebar window of Finder windows:
Then when you click on that in the Finder's side bar you'll get this:
iWork apps can automatically safe to the drive but with Office files you'll need to create a special folder like the OT's General Storage folder and save to that.  To access the files from another computer or device you'll have to download the file to that device to use it and then upload any edited version back to the folder.  You won't be able to access those files to edit via a browser like you can with the iWork apps.

  • How to browse, view, open Microsoft Office files in Contribute CS4

To browse or view Microsoft Office files (not Office 2007)in Contribute CS4: (I won't say how long it took me to figure this out!)
    Make sure Contribute is closed.
    Open C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Contribute CS4\Configuration\ViewableExtTypes.txt
Add doc, xls, ppt to the list, save & close ViewableExtTypes.txt and restart Contribute/
It doesn't work for Office 2007 file extensions.
I put my heart and my soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process.

    <Re-Titled By Host>

you are asking about Microsoft products and using a laptop, not a workstation Mac Pro.
The Numbers and Pages Apple Communities. or MS Community if you want those.
Importing and Exporting, but Numbers and Pages will not do a SAVE into other formats by default, and therefore have to keep using Export which is messy.

  • How do I add microsoft office to an external hard drive when my start up disc is full?

I have installed adobe collection and final cut studio on my macbook pro. That being said my start up disk is full and I need microsoft office so I was wanting to know how I could add microsoft office to and external hard drive without deleting the whole adobe collection and reinstalling because I can't put office on my computer. Also I have a 120 gb solid state hard drive so hard drive kit would be expensive to replace and a hassle to redownload programs.

When you say full, how full do you mean? If you are under 10% of free space, you are headed for a big crash. I hope you have everything backed up.
You can copy MS office to an external drive but you don't want to run it, or any other program from an external drive, inclduing flash drives. You'd be much better off moving your music, photos, and/or documents to the external and putting your applications that you are using on the MBP hard drive. If you need to use the music, photos or documents, then drag them individually over to the MBP. Adobe CS and MS Ofice should definitely reside on the hard drive, no question about it.

Use a product such as OpenOffice, LibreOffice, Google Docs, iWork, or Microsoft Office 2008 or newer. In the case of Word documents, you can also use TextEdit.

  • Can I access old Microsoft Office files on a Mac?

Am considering getting rid of my old PC and just using my Mac only, with Microsoft Office for Mac.  Woud i be able to access my old MS Office files from my PC on my Mac or not?
    Many thanks

    To be clear:
Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 (2008 as well) don't include Access since Microsoft has never ported it to Mac OSX.

  • Teacher switching to Mac from PC--but worried about difficulty transferring Microsoft Office files?

    Hey everyone,
I'm a high school English teacher, and recently my PC at home died after only two years.  I'm really wanting to switch over to Apple products, but I'm not sure about the combination of machines to buy and I'm concerned about how easily my 3,000+ Microsoft Office-based files I use every day at work will be transferred to a Mac. I'd really appreciate any advice you may have about your experience using both types of machines!
Issue #1:  The first thing I'm unsure about is what combination of machines to buy from Apple. I absolutely am getting an iPad, for the portability and because I love my Iphone but want a larger interface on which to use my educational apps.  However, I'm really torn between getting a Mac Pro desktop or the much smaller, much more expensive, but much more portable Macbook Pro laptop.  My husband is a gamer (he loves Starcraft!) and his only criteria for our new machine is that it will play his games.  Both the Mac Pro and Macbook Pro have the capabilities to play the graphics-heavy game, but I don't know if I want to go back to a desktop computer after having the easy of a laptop at home for two years.  Any profession swear one way or the other?  Please give me your reasons for your preference!  I'd love to hear.
Issue #2:  The other thing I'm nervous about is transferring all of the 3,000+ files from my school PC to a Macbook or Mac so I can work on them at home and not have to haul the PC to and from school. I've transferred what I could to Google Drive, but I'm not keen on switch over to Drive completely because it doesn't give me the flexibility that working with Word does.  I'd like to know how the transition from PC to Mac is when it comes to Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel files, since I'll be creating them on the PC at school and continuing work on the Macbook or Mac Pro at home.  Is it difficult transition?  Please let me know...again, I appreciate your responses.
    Thanks very much,
    Mrs. Tripp

I think you should purchase the MacBook Pro, because as you stated you are accustomed to using a laptop, or if you would like a desk-top consider the iMac over the Mac Pro (To much for your needs).  Both computers can handle your requirements regarding the MS Office files you would need to purchase the Mac version of MS Office.
Starcraft will work on a Mac, another option you have with a Mac, it is possible to run Windows via BootCamp or a software solution like Parallels Desktop and VMWare.
This link will help you with the switch to Mac, http://www.apple.com/support/macbasics/

  • Problem attaching microsoft office files to yahoo, hotmail

I have had a lot of trouble attaching office files to my yahoo and hotmail email. I have tried doing it from safari and firefox, as well as moving my preferences folder, reseting safari, changins my cache preferences, and the people at apple were not very helpful on the phone. I do not think it is an issue with safari, as firefox has the same problem, and what are the chances of Yahoo and MSN doing changes to their site at the same time? Does anybody has a similar problem?

Reader has nothing to do with this, since Reader does not create any
files. You have some software that scans your pages to pdf. Before you
try to upload the file as an email attachment you should make sure your
scanning software closed the file. Then you should be able to attach it
to an email. If you cannot then the problem lies with your system, not
    Reader, not gmail, nor yahoo.

  • Microsoft Office Files Auto Launch when Application is Opened

Every time I launch Excel I have several files that auto launch.  I have searched for these files using spotlight and see that these files have somehow gotten saved with the application.  With the open file I go to File>Properties>General Tab it shows the location of the file (see below).  However, in Finder when I try to find this location I am unable to.  When I go to /Users/BTaylor/ there is no Library.  I must go to the hard drive to locate Library.  Then once in Library when I select Application Support/Microsoft/  there is no Office.  I know it has to exist.  Anyone have any ideas how I find this location in Mavricks?

Hi Kappy, I do not have that option in Excel Preference.
Here is the version of MS Office I am running:
