Add mod_oc4j to Apache (manual)

Hi,
We have a running OC4J (by means of 9iDS (9.0.2) -> forms -> start oc4j)
I installed (from apache.org) Apache 1.3.27
How do I install mod_oc4j ??
I get kind of error (when starting Apache):
"No procedure entry (127)"
Please help.

You need to get Oracle9iAS, which includes OHS(Apache)
and mod_oc4j. check out http://otn.oracle.com/products/ias/content.html

Can you add fields that are manually maintained.

I'd like to be able to add fields to my MAP Toolkit's inventory. For example, adding Asset and Warranty fields, to keep track of this information. I'd be maintaining the data manually, which is fine since it doesn't change very often. Is there a way to extend
the toolkit to include these types of fields?
So far the only solution I've been able to think of is to generate reports, convert the .XLS to .CSV, and then use PowerShell to merge the .CSV with a file containing the static information. This would be quite an undertaking as I'd need either different
scripts, of different logic paths, to deal with the multiple reports available from the toolkit.

The reports are generated using queries that are in stored procedures. I suppose it would be possible to modify the query so that extra columns would be created, but I don't know how you would get the data into MAP.

Please, how to add a new podcast manually to iPod?

...with iTunes 7? I grabbed it from the iTunes screen, moved it over to the Podcasts directory on the iPod, but then it doesn't appear there even though I got a confirming message at the top of the iTunes screen that it was copying the files.
Short of autosyncing, which I DESPISE, is there a way to to this? Or do I need to revert (if I even can) to iTunes 6.x?

Yeah, I did look for the podcast episode that it supposedly copied over on the ipod screen itself, and it didn't appear anywhere. Btw, I tried dragging and dropping the ep both into the Podcasts category and into the main iPod device--it wouldn't show up either way.
The only workaround I've found is to create a "podcasts" or in my case AllPodcasts playlist separate from the Podcast directory (where new podcasts refuse to appear unless you autosync) and throw the episodes you want to add into that playlist where they'll appear in the order that they're added, I suppose. When I did that and dragged and dropped a new ep in there, it did show up there (it had copied over before, mind you, but refused to be displayed anywhere until I did it this way). When I wish to delete them, I'll have to make sure to "shift-delete" to remove them from the iPod, otherwise they'll disappear from the playlist while continuing to take up space, and I'll have no way to remove them.
Apple has truly dropped the ball on this iTunes release-- it's much less user-friendly than it was previously, at least if you prefer to manage things manually.

Suppose that we want to start coding my Real-Time application, but the hardware hasn't arrived yet.
We can't Discover the chassis + modules, so we need to add modules manually.
Current editor
To add N modules, we need to launch this dialog N times:
Right-click on Chassis in the Project Explorer
Hover over "New"
Click "C Series Modules…"
Click "New target or device"
Click "C Series Module"
Click "OK"
Wait for LabVIEW to fetch module list (wait ~1 second)
Select Type (2 clicks)
Select Location (2 clicks)
Click "OK"
Go to #1 to add a new module
How tedious!

Why can't I add tasks and reminders manually with iOS7? The has disappeared.

I just upgraded to iOS 7 and went to add a new task in the reminders app. I realized that the + has disappeared and I am unable to manually add a task. Is this intentional? Is this a miss, or am I missing something? This is happening both on my iPhone 4S and my iPad 2.

Same concern and request. Scrolling to the bottom of the Task list is a pain - I typically have 30 or more as part of a GTD-lite technique. Siri workaround is partly useful in the right circumstances / surroundings. And better if you are on a walk or something like that. Pls restore the +, or provide a "down arrow" to get to the bottom of the Task or Reminder list. Or put the blank "next line" at the top of the list (like Outlook has done for years). Makes me wonder sometimes whether Apple designers and execs actually use their software? Or, whether their beta tester did not come across this obvious limitation / regression. Please try harder!

I cannot add or delete music manually from my iphone

I used to be able to manually add or delete music from my iPhone 4S in iTunes. I tried setting the phone to sync my library automatically and it filled up the phone, but now I can't get rid of any of it (and my storage is maxed out).
Any ideas?

Manually managing music on the iphone 4s. I updated to the latest version of itunes. When I try to manually update my music, it will only give me the option to manag videos. I have tried restarting my iphone, nothing has helped.
(1) Using the same computer to sync and update
(2) checked and unchecked the option to manually manage videos.
(3) no option to manually delete or add music. can anyone help me in fixing this issue.

WiFi doesn't work unless I add DNS host(s) manually

My Time Capsule is connected to a cable modem (Comcast). If I connect my computer directly to the Time Capsule with an ethernet cable, I'm able to load web pages just fine. If I connect my computer via WiFi it doesn't connect to the internet unless I manually add a DNS server address.
This is not too big a deal except when trying to do a restore on Lion on a machine which is not located near the Time Capsule. This requires an internet connection, but doesn't, as far I can tell, offer the opportunity to enter a DNS server address.
Is there some way to configure this so that WiFi clients will get their DNS server addresses from the Time Capsule?

I got it working finally. The problem was that the Time Capsule had some bogus values in the DNS field. Clearing all the DNS entries fixed the problem. The bad values appear to have been loaded automatically.

I am working on a automation part in Windows Phone 8 applications. I want to verify my WiFi settings through an automated script. What I actually supposed to do was , I have to add a hidden WiFi network through code C# and enter the credentials
and then have to verify the connected network. Is there any provisions available in Windows Phone 8 to do such a task. In Android we have implemented the same scenario as I explained above. Want to know whether I can achieve my scenario in windows phone also.

Hi Mawy - WP8 does not have any APIs that allow the app to connect to WiFi, whether visible or hidden. These operations are reserved specifically for the OS and the user must interact with the phone.

what you are asking is to change some of the BW basics, which is not possible for a standard DSO.

The first entry in the change log is for the arrival of the data.
The second entry is for the activation of it.
Have a look at the Request IDs in the change log and compare with the manage view of you DSO, then you will see the connection.

I would like to add an email account manually but I don't seem to be given the choice to do that. I would like to configure my exchange account as an IMAP account but if I let Apple Mail do it for me it will automatically set it up an an Exchange account.

Hi, I wanted to know if I can add a new folder manually to time machine.
For e.g. If I need to back some photo's up, can I manually add a folder in time machine and store them on here as a normal harddrive or does it only look at what is on the Mac.
Also, how can I check what time machine backsup.
Can I specify what folders to backup?

No. You can put other data on your TM drive, but it's best to make a separate partition for it, as Time Machine will eventually use all the space provided to it for backups. See item #3 Frequently Asked Questions *User Tip* at the top of this forum.

Time Machine will back-up your entire system (except for a few system workfiles, caches, trash, etc.), unless you specifically exclude things.
Can I specify what folders to backup?
