Add more user attriburte in template OIM 11g

hi guru's
i'm create new attribute user attribute(user configuration) in Basic information. the name is role, display type is LOV.
but when i created template request type "Create User" why the new attribute can't show in Attribute Restrictions.
and when i trying my template request "Create User" . the new attribute can't show ?
how to show or how to add more new user attribute in my template request type "Create User" ?

are you able to view using xelsysadm? if yes. Provide the view, edit permission for each and every attribute to User's role using Authorization policy.
If can't able to view using xelsysadm. Hope, you have migrated on other server. Take export of User.xml using Unix Export Utility from dev server and import same using Import unix utility on this server

Hi all, I have users.dbf from old reinstall oracle 11g express database.
Now I was reinstall oracle 11g express and looking the way how to add old
users.dbf into new /u01/app/oracle/oradata/XE/ folder where new users.dbf exist.
Old users.dbf have 3gbytes(dates from old oracle instal)

Retrieving Last used User Login Name in OIM 11g R2

In my scenario, i want to retrieve the last used user login in OIM for user profile, to create next User Login based on last one retrieved ?
Is there any API method available in User Management to get this value or Any customized DB query that will help ?
Setup used is OIM 11g R2 PS1.

Still i have some doubts in my scenario. Actually i have to create new User Login in sequence based on last User Login of Last user created . This is no based on User ID. Also, whatever already existing users with user login are present , they will be uploaded in OIM for first time through trusted reconcilation.
After reconcilation is done, then hereafter while creating next user i have to update its user login attribute in sequence of latest user login used and check for its uniqueness.Suppose, in case while bulk data import in OIM for first time , the users are not in sequence of User Login attribute, then it will be difficult to get the latest user login. Is there any way to get last user created based on User Login and not on User Id ?

Create user request from api OIM 11g r2

Hi,
I need to read a database and raise a request for creating uses. After approval the user needs to be created in OIM 11g R2.
I want to write a scheduled task which will read database columns and rasie a request to create users.
I dont want to use UnauthenticatedSelfService api.
Please suggest a way to achive that. any pointer / sample coede / suggestion is helpful.

I would suggest you start with these and modify the parameters to be for a user. You will have to try some trial and error to get it working, unless someone already has it available. And so far, no one who is posting does. Give it a shot. You can always create an SR with oracle and ask for assistance.

I am not sure if I got your question?
If you want to add these users to a site of a specific project, just add them as team members to this project. This will provide read access to them. If you assign them to a task within this project, they will alos get write access in this site.
If you want to add this users as Project Server resources and users and just have a list of them, you can use copy/paste. Go to Resource Center and click on Open. Project client will start with checked out Enterprise Resources. Add columns Windows User Account,
Email Address, and all other fields you want to fill. Make sure that the columns and the sequence of columns does match the columns in your file. Use copy/paste to insert all users into Project. Save and Close. Use Option Bulk Edit, if you want to define
eg Timesheet Manager. As a last step go to Server Settings - Manage Groups and add them to the appropriate groups.

I need to create a custom template to request the following scenario
I have two tables in the database, System and Module where the Module is the child table
I created the IT Resource using these tables, my doubt is how to create the following model request
Step 1
The requester selects a system (IT Resource)
Step 2:
List the modules related to the chosen system (stored in a lookup)
Step 3:
Add this information to the form using the pre-populate
Note lookup (Code key = System / Decode = Module)

User Search Results Customization-OIM 11g R2

Hi,
I would like to add few field columns to the existing search results page and these columns are UDFs -how do I achieve this? -I tried by adding manage Users content under customize->view->source option by selecting the search result area but did not result in the same view as other OOTB columns exists.

Can anyone let me know how to export User defined attributes in OIM 11g (11.1.1.5)? I couldn't find option in export manager for user defined fields (as in 9.x version).

UME & LDAP setting, Cannot add more UME MII users in NW7.1/MII 12.1.5

We're using MII 12.1.5 (Build 85), configured with standard DB+LDAP authentication.
Data source: MicrosoftADS (Deep Hierarchy) + Database
Data Source File Name: dataSourceConfiguration_ads_deep_writable_db.xml
I need to a dd some users to the system, not existing in the Active Directory list (i.e. temporary access). When I try to add them to the UME database, the system is telling me I'm in trouble.
[LDAP: error code 50 - 00000005: SecErr: DSID-031521D0, problem 4003 (INSUFF_ACCESS_RIGHTS), data 0 ]
Where should I look to elevate my rights, since I'm already logging in with the highest access on the system?

If NW wants to add an user in AD, then the AD user specified in the configuration has to have enough rights to do that (which doesn't unfortunately, and won't have ever). I am looking to add more users in UME, not in AD.
In my case, the Active Directory structure extends on multiple levels. For example, there is an AD server for corporate and then another AD servers for plants. The users in the plants are able to connect to the plant MII using their local credentials, but they cannot authenticate to the corporate MII development box (not being visible from the corporate AD leaf). Therefore, being a handful of names, I was thinking to add them in UME and bypass the AD authentication in their case (not being an AD expert) for the development server.
Who said networking is easy? I can't remember ..

Not able to add groups to the user ODSEE via OIM 11g R2

Hi,
I have created some groups in ODSEE and ran the recon job to sync these groups in OIM 11g R2.
Groups are populated in OIM 11g R2 and while raising the request for ODSEE Application Instance I can see these groups.
Now following are the issues I am facing :
1. ODSEE groups are not getting displayed in Catalog ( I have ran the Entittlement-List job also)
2. When I request for a group while creating the request, the group is not getting assigned to the user in ODSEE, wherein user is getting created in ODSEE successfully.

Please let me know what could be the reason of not adding the groups to the user in ODSEE.
I was able to add the groups successfully to user by assigning the groups while raising the request in OIM 11g R1.
But the same is not working in OIM 11g R2, if I check the OIM logs it is calling the function ADDUSERTOGROUP but the groups are not getting assigned to user.
