Add multiple effects to a title and to a video
I have an edited video and inserted a title before the video starts. I would like to have the title zoom and while zooming, fade in. I apply the zoom to the begining of the title on my timeline, edit the duration and the start and end size then try to add a fade but the fade overwrites the zoom. On all the videos I found, they drag and drop the effects onto the clips on the timeline (I have to add them to either the front or back) then it appears on the Effect Controls under Video Effects. When I do it, I do not see the effect under that, I can only see the effect options when I click on the effect on the time line.
I have tried the same thing to the video itself and can only add one effect to each clip.
What am I doing wrong? How can I add multiple effects to things on my timeline?
Here is a +1 for Jim's suggestion to look into Keyframing the Fixed Effect>Motion>Scale, to create your Zoom.
You could well explore Keyframing another Fixed Effect>Opacity, to have more control over your Fade-In too.

anyone please.Normally you can apply only one video effect at a time. But for Sepia, black and white, and others that can be done through the video Adjustments tab, you are in luck.
Aged Movie should already have a bit of a sepia tone.
If you want more of a sepia tone or you want to fine tune the sepia effect you can do it with the Clip Inspector/Video Adjustments tab.

If you're looking for a washed-out sepia appearance, first open iMovie's preferences and turn on the Show Advanced Tools option, which adds more controls to the Video Adjustments HUD and other areas of the program. Select the clip you want to alter and press the V key. Set Saturation to 0 percent, and then drag the Red Gain slider to 143 percent, the Green Gain slider to 90 percent, and the Blue Gain slider to 53 percent (feel free to tweak these settings to customize the results). Click on Done when you're finished. Note that the clip thumbnail still appears in color, as the video was shot, but the preview reflects your changes.--JC
If you need to apply the same settings to all clips, first select the clip you have adjusted. Then Edit/Copy. Then Edit/Select All. Then Edit/Paste Adjustments. -
I have a calendar with SPD workflow to display multiple lines for Title, Attendees, Location.

Everything works fine, except that when the All Day event is checked, the display screwed like this:
I guess that when the event is All Day Event, the Start Time and End Time is not filled by the user (although they show in the form as 12:00 am -11:59PM), so the top line space is now used to display Title and Location. Since the Top Space for
Start and End Time is a single line, it displays everything on one line. Plus the script does not act on this space.
Does anyone know a fix for this problem?

Add Multiple Effects to a Single Clip at Different Times
Ok, first post here. Just a little history about myself, I am a senior member of the Sony Vegas board, power user of Photoshop, newb of Premiere, and total newb of After Effects. I have looked at every tutorial, PDF, help manual, Google, FAQ, etc. (In other words I have done my due diligence before posting) for the past 6 weeks and feel as though I know next to nothing :/
So many questions, so few brain cells...........The current problem I am having is; say I have a clip in the time line and I want to add an effect to it 10 seconds in (use 'shatter' as an example). When I add the effect, it begins at the start of the clip, so I found the Ctrl + Shift + D trick and thought that would take care of it, but the effect is still in the same point in time (10 seconds) in the newly created clip. I have tried shortening the clip, but it acts more like slip editing and doesn't seem to help. How can I get this to work, and then heaven forbid if I want to add another effect at a later point on the clip? Over the years, I have helped hundreds of people, and answered thousands of posts, I hope someone will take the time to help me. ThanksYou picked a complex one to start off.... The simplest way to get the right timing would be to pre-compose and thus isolate all the timing from the main comp. If you want to stick with the effect in the main comp, then you must animate all the force parameters, including the force value, radius and also the gravity parameter. A third option would be to create a gradient map and animate its threshold. Such a map is simply a greyscale and based on the distribution of the brightness can control which pieces explode first, allowing for some interesting effects when combined with the forces.

How can I apply multiple Effects to any image in iPhoto for iPad(eg: apply If I apply Vignette and then try the Aura effect, I loose Vignette effect!!!).

Trying to add projector effect to a title
Hello, I want to add a date to a beginning of an old home movie film that looks like it was being projected through a projector. In other words would like to have scratches and the like show up in the date to go with the rest of the films old look. Wondering if someone could someone please point me in the right direction. Many ThanksUnfortunately you can't add all at once. But you save a lot of time by the copy/paste method (double-tap at a mail address, tap "copy", go to the "Contacts" app, enter the contact you want to paste the address in, tap "Mail address", then double tap again and tap "paste").

How can we add multiple editable region in template

My issue is when I am going to create a new template I want to add multiple editable region in template and I want to use those editable region per page wise so that in page editor I will add different text for each page for those editable region.
I can use incontxt editor to change those area for different pages although is it possible to use online editor to add different text for different pages.
I also have a plan to solve the issue ... that is also not working.
Plan is .. if we can use tag (not the default one in template), want to use different tag like {tag_headding},{tag_sidebarcontent} in template so that we can use those tag in template and fill the field in the page online editor, so when differnt page we will create we will fill those field for those tag and that will show in the front view of the site.
Please help me. I am really stuck on this issue.

Yes, if you look at many of the commercial BC templates available the way they are getting around it is with Content Holders and multiple templates.
Now I know you will say that multiple templates is high maintenance ..... not if you use Content holders for both recurring content and unique content.
Think of Conent Holders as 'Includes' ... I have been doing it this way with templates that I build from scratch as well. Easier than you think.
And that way the client can change content such as footer information or whatever that appears on all pages without editing the template itself.
Only drawback is that if you are using Design View in Dreamweaver the content holders don't render. But other than that Content Holders are awesome.

I just bought a MacBook Pro and have been using iMovie to edit short films. Is there anyway I can add more titles and effect. the titles and effects i have on my powerbook G4 are more than the ones on my new laptop. Isn't this new machine supposed to have better options???
Please help me find a way to incorporate more interesting titles and effects to my films.

You don't need to 'update' the titles-just drag them.

How do I add multiple songs to an existing playlist from the (no longer called) Library? Highlighting multiple songs and clicking the "Add to" button will only add the one with the little arrow, not all the highlighted ones! I am using the "new" iTunes.
For the moment there isn't a way for us end-users to control what is "matched" or "uploaded." That is purely a result of Apple's server-side algorithms.
To re-add multiple songs at once simply highlight all the songs you want to re-add, then right-click (or Control+click) the list and choose "add to iCloud." -
Is there any way to turn off the auto formatting in Pages? I'm using a blank document, so I figured I could write my letter and add pictures any way I wanted to. But NO! Pages keeps changing the font size! I typed a large heading as a title, and when I try to change to a smaller font for the body of the letter, it changes the size back to the larger size! I am getting SO FRUSTRATED! I've spent over an hour trying to get the stupid program to let me just type my letter! Can anyone help?
The only one left is the "unsubmitted text" dialogue, which would not be a problem if I were not a Facebook user; after updating the "Richard is..." field (which does not require a manual submit to actually send) I get the above message. This is obviously Safari just not realising that the info has been sent and is therefore (I imagine) one for Apple themselves to answer!!

Not being a Facebook User, I'm not sure how to respond to the error situation. However, this would be something to report to Apple as a bug via the Safari Menu. First, open to the page in question, then select "Report Bugs to Apple".

Add unique title and description to other Blog pages
Hi,
There's a few pages that I cannot work out how to add a unique title and description tag within the Blog.
These are:
The page numbers - in the footer of the Blog if you click page 2, 3, 4, etc
eg: http://www.cardiotech.com.au/_blog/Latest_Fitness_News/page/4/
The Tags pages - if you click a tag and you're then presented with a list of articles for that tag it still displays the default Blog title
eg: http://www.cardiotech.com.au/_blog/Latest_Fitness_News/tag/Exercise/
The Archives pages - if you click on a month under Archives and it displays all the articles for that month it displays the default Blog title
I just need to know where this template is or even if there is one?

You can not edit/add unique titles for these.
As a note I can see you still have _blog - You can enable the proper SEO Custom url now and it probably says so in a yellow box on the detail part of the blog. -
