Add new System to SAP connection adapter - HAL

Hi. I would like to add a new System ID to Application Link's SAP connection adapter (HAL).
I mean: we have been changing SAP environment (i.e System ID) and I would like to add a new System ID in the list; however, as I create a new SAP connection, only a list of old System ID is displayed.
Even if I create and test correctly the new connection, the new System ID is still not displayed. Any advice?

PS, to SAP developers: there are multiple companies frowning upon the decision to display the grayed-out buttons in saplgpad. I would hate to roll-out 720 with a in-house launcher for saplgpad that hides the buttons using some dirty hack.

i installed SAP Logon 720 Patch 2 on my computer. On my old installation, Logon 710, it was no problem to add, change and delete new system connection.
But in Logon 720 the buttons are grey and not active.

Add new system to an Existing project in Change Request in Solution Manager

HI,
Is it ok to add new systems and remove systems to an existing Project in Solution Manager with Change Request Management activated?
Currently, Change request is already set-up in our solution landscape, however, a new BI Dev and QA systems were created to replace the old Dev and QA systems that was initially set-up in our Charm. Can you please share with me the steps that I need to do to successfully remove old Dev and QA from Charm and replace them with the new systems? Is it safe to do this in an open project and maintenance cycle?

How to add new folder in sap menu visible to all users

I want to add a new folder in sap menu. i can do it for my user id as it is user specific. I wanna know that how to add a folder so that every user able to see the same i.e irrespective of user-ids.

This can be done in SAP menu instead of User Menu, provided all your users are using SAP menu. If a folder is created in User menu it would be visible only to the user. If it is created in SAP menu and if all the users are using the SAP menu then the folder would be visible to all...

Add new App in iTunes Connect?

I'm using MagPlus to create a Digital Magazine App and I need to add an App in iTunes Connect. Where in iTunes Connect do I add a new App? We also have an iBooks app in the "Manage Your Books" which needs deleted but I don't know how to delete this..maybe because of the user account permission?

You cannot publish books and apps with the same Apple ID. You need to create a new Apple ID to publish your app.

Hi,
you cannot add new fields using ITCSY. It is the interface structure between a SAPscript an a value-changing form-routine.
Need example anyway?

so i added new font to sap using se73 t-code. but some are missing, for example i can't use bold...

For SE73, on screen
There is a button 'True Type-Font Importian'.
On pressing this button you will go to next screen.
Give unique name of font and .ttf file of your computer.
If you select Bold or Italic, select different font file respectivly.
and Execute.
Fonts are centralized for SAP.
if you are not authorized to do cross-client activity, it will not allow you.
Usually Basis Team does this for developers.

HAL - SAP Connection Adapter

Does anyone know if it is possible to access SAP from within a HAL integration using a non-dialog SAP user ID? Our integrations currently pull SAP data using a regular SAP Logon ID, so we have to update the password and recreate the executables every time the password expires. If we could access SAP using a non-dialog SAP ID, it could be set up with a non-expiring password. Does anyone know if this is possible and if so, how to make it work?

To sort out this problem do the following steps:
1. Once the wsdl is created by Application explorer, manually configure the <jca:address>. This step is required if you are not using the DefaultConnection.

Add new button on SAP R/3 Logon screen( R/3.4.7) to "Forgot the Password"

We wanted to add a new option( Forgot password option) on the SAP Logon screen to Change password when they forgot the password.
But the user exit EXIT_SAPLSUSF_001 only triggers after the Logon.
*Our Current SAP Version is SAP R/3 4.7
Is there any other way, which allows,
1. add a button/ menu option on R/3 LOGON screen to include :"forgot apssword" option.when preseed/selected, it has to execute some piece of code( our own) with validation to change the password.
OR. is it possible to add an hyperlink next to password, and when pressed to execute /call a BSP(??) application to change the password in R/3. ?

In SAP Query, I need to put a new coulmn of each record for the difference of Billing date and PGI date as a work days.
eg: Billing Date = 02.05.2008
PGI Date = 08.05.2008
Take a Variable i.e. Days = Billing Date - PGI Date that will display as 5 days by excluding Saturday and Sunday.
After doing calculation of these work days for each record, we need a to add a new coulmn in that record as field lable as "Work Days" and display.
Please Guide me in this regard

In SQ01 when you are in the fields (first would be attributes, when you click next it takes you to field groups, and again when you click next if takes you to fields tab) check the following menu path
EDIT -> LOCAL FIELD -> CREATE
You can define the formula as per your requirement and populate the field.
