Add note in PC

So it appears to me that the note's sync feature in outlook is yet another feature that does not "Just Work".
I can create a note on my device (iphone) and it shows up in my iCloud folder in the notes folder. Looks like a email to me (outlook integration fail).
But how do I create a note in Outlook and have it sync with the cloud?
Do I just create an email and call that a note?

I'm getting lots of "views" of this question, but no answers...
I guess I'm going to have to try creating a specific BlackBerry ID just for my Dev Alpha and then reset it and use the new ID.
I'm weary of doing this as I've heard of some users Dev Alpha devices not coming back after a reset...

Trouble with "add note to replace text" annotation

When I use "Add note to replace text" in Reader XI, the note acts as if it is locked even though it is not. The Locked box is not checked, but yet the options are grayed out; and I cannot delete the note, though I can edit the text box. "Strikethrough" and "Insert text at cursor" work fine.
I am using the latest update of XI and have uninstalled and reinstalled it several times; I've also tried various older versions of XI. It happens with documents I've created or documents others have created; it happens on docs created from Word or those created from InDesign; it happens on docs downloaded several years ago as well as ones from the past month.
I CAN delete these add-and-replace notes if I receive a file with them already put there by someone else--I just can't delete my own that I am adding right now. When I send the pdf to other people they have the same problem--in fact, someone told me that in her case ALL of my notes appear locked, not just the Add note to replace text one--yet when I send it to her, on my side, I have not locked any of them.
Also, I do seem to be able to delete my own annotations I put on documents fairly recently--I have files from Sept 9 and Sept 17 that I can do this. But if I try to add notes to those same docs now, they act just like all the other ones--I cannot delete those particular notes and they appear locked.
Help please!!

You could write an html-text file that revers to the image file
after that you could even convert this html-file to an rtfd file (which is a package after all) using textutil

There's a notes applet in there, and you can write stuff to your hearts content. It doesn't sync with the computer (just yet), but you can eMail the notes to yourself.
Also you can use the calendar, which has a notes entry spot. Those I don't think you can pull from your computer so easily, but if you use a Mac, the calendar should sync with the MacOS X one.
You need to go to your local Apple Store and just play with the iPhone. I'd been doing it for weeks (until the price drop... ha!) and decided to take the plunge. Still, it's the best way to learn what the thing can and cannot do.

hello louise, the firefox button will only be displayed in case the menu bar is hidden (''view > toolbars''), but you can access the options through ''tools > options'' as well in order to set a custom homepage...

How to add note to underlined text for pdf within Preview

Sometimes I can right-click in underlined or highlighted text in Preview and get an option "add note" so that there's a text box without an balloon icon (like the one you get by pressing control+N). But it is so tricky that I have to try several times before the option appears. Is there any easy way to do it?

Go to View menu >Show annotations toolbar > click on the text box at the bottom and you should get a type cursor when you click on the area outside or within the document or photo. Then type. Does this not happen consistently?

Using Text Edit, when it works properly, you can save Notes in .txt format. I have created a directory called iPod Notes in my home directory (so it gets backed up properly), and when my iPod is plugged in, I open its icon, open the Notes directory on it, and drag the Notes from my desktop computer to the iPod. I have noticed that certain characters mess up the iPod, notable the "/". Use "_" instead. But you may have already known that convention. I use Leopard, but if you use Tiger, it will work the same. Actually, with Tiger, you can get Open Office, which works even better to do the same thing. Good luck!

On the HOME screen of EBP click Approval link ---> Under Appoval tab under Action Column click the magnifying glass icon ---> after the items table thers a button "Add Note"
When I click the button , it disapperas and no text box comes for entering notes.
In the view source found the following code for this button

was commented in the template code...i uncommented it , now its showing textedit but the Add Note button disapperas , so the user can not ADD the note ..
Any ideas on this?

Sorry, I don't mean to appear rude, but I don't understand the question. What do you mean "how do you call"? You pick up the telphone and call the store's number, just as you would any other person or company.
None of the Apple Stores have on-line chat.

Address Book - Can't add Notes

Using 10.5.3 I can't add Notes to my address book cards either in Edit mode or not in Edit mode. The word "Note" is grayed out and I can't type in the field.
What am I missing? I feel like I am doing something wrong.

Can't add notes to invited events

When somebody sends an invitation (e.g. via outlook) and I accept the invitation in outlook, for some reason I cannot add notes to this event. I can however add notes to events I created myself. Also I cannot delete these 'external' events from my iphone.
Somebody have a solution?

My iCal Preferences tell me that I have CalDAV (whatever that is). It seems that I lost the ability to attach files to calendar events with the recent Mobile Me calendar upgrade. I hope Apple will bring back this functionality soon. However looking at my iCal Help, there is an instruction given to attach files to events. Problem is that I can't seem to get it to work. To attach a file to an event invitation:
1. Double-click the event. If necessary, click Edit to open the event editor.
2. Drag the file you want over the open event editor. You can also click Add File next to “attachments,” navigate to the file you want, and then click Open. The file appears in the “attachments” field.
3. If the event is in a CalDAV calendar and you want to allow invitees to add or remove files from the event invitation, select the “Allow Others to Manage Files” checkbox. Only the meeting organizer can select or deselect this checkbox.

Is it possible to add notes in the margins of a document. I think in Word its called adding a comment.

I would just add a few specific tips you might overlook. I'm working on a template with wider margins and spent some time in the Inpsector>Layout.
When you're trying to set your margins and you columns, be sure to click the "Equal column width" button to keep the columns equal size as you move the margins and resize the columns for what you want.
Also, you'll get a better view of layout if you change the page view to an 100% or less. It makes it easier to see your spacing.
