Add On Conflict

Just to make people aware, if you are running SMART Ink Aware on your system, then the Add On in PowerPoint will conflict with Adobe Presenter Add On.
If you are running SMART Board software on your system, check your Add On management in PowerPoint and disable the Ink Aware Add On.
Found this out after an 8 hour monitor takeover by Adobe Tech

Hi experts,
I want to install the add-on for India Localization for IS-Utilities i.e., LOCIN release 100. I have downloaded the add-on and also the CRT(SAPK-10001INLOCINISU) required for the add-on.
we got an error while installing the add-on it is

if we remove the CRT from the queue and start the installation then it will give add-0n conflict error.

I had somthng like this recently with SCMEWM....
1. Clear out your EPS/in directory
2. Download the latest version of the add-on and all the patches ===> the latest CRT's will be in the patches.
3. Unpack them and try import again.

BPC for excel Add-in Conflict

Hi,
I'm trying to find out if there any known excel add-ins that conflict with BPC for Excel (v7) and how the conflicts manifest themselves.
I am currently specifically interested in conflicts with SAP BW BEx Analyser but would be interested in any others also.
Would be grateful if anyone could shed some light on this.

Usually, Crashing means excel will show crashing error message and restart it.
Excel will just return excel error message. NOT BPC or 3rd Party ADD_IN error message because it happened at the EXCEL while it is processing request from BPC addin and other 3rd partty Addin. (Of course BEX is SAP product. that's why BPC NW support BEX report in 7.5 but still it is not fully integrated with MS.)
Sometimes it happens when retriving data from BPC or sending data. As you know those are critical functionality of BPC.
Again, it depends on the addin but based on my experience, Hyperion Addin and BEX addin had a problem when it runs together with BPC addin. some simple addin might not have any issue but still recommendation is not using 3rd party addin because we don't know where the error comes.

ERROR in ADD-ON conflict phase while upgrading ECC 6.0 system

I am having ECC 6.0 system and am upgrading its SAP-APPL component to 603 patch level 03. I was having SAP-APPL 603 but at patch level 0, i checked for all dependencies and defined the queue in SPAM and it showed all green (OK) for SAP-APPL and so i started but i faced error in add-on coflict phase. It said CRT needed for ADD-ON FICAX release 603. I searched alot but i cant find it on market place. This conflict occured for SAP-APPL 603 patch level 01 it said either include CRT as mentioned above or remove SAP-APPL 60301. Please help me out.

Check the support packs of components FI-CAX on Service Market place, I think FI-CAX is dependant on SAPKH603301 and others so you can check the import condidtions of FI-CAX on service marketplace and update FI-CAX first then only you would be able to update patch of SAPKH60301

Add-Ons Conflict CPRXRPM 400 and SAP_APPL SAPKH60008

I am trying to apply support packages to SAP ECC 6. I am getting a conflicts with add-ons error between CPRXRPM 400 and SAPKH6008 in SAP_APPL. I have searched for CRTs and only found one for CPRXRPM that applies to SAPKA70013 in SAP_ABA. I have already successfully applied that package without this CRT. Please help me with assistance to move forward with the support packages.

Web2pdf add-on conflicts with my Adobe CS3 PDF printer.

I installed the web2pdf add-on because I thought it was an idea with merit, particularly since creating PDFs without Adobe CS graphics software was an annoyance I routinely encounter (since Adobe restricts the number of devices that may be loaded with a given Adobe Creative Suite "purchase"). I downloaded the web2pdf add-on, and it would not create a PDF, instead presenting me with an error message.
"Adobe PDF Properties" tells me my PDF printer is working properly, but when I attempt to print a PDF, I get a pop-up window that informs me of an "error printing PDF." If I try again, the popup window tells me that my "Adobe PDF" is in "error status" until I remove the queued document.
I never had this problem before I downloaded print 2pdf, and now that I've uninstalled it, the problem remains.
How do I regain my Adobe PDF function? Any steps I can take to set my system back to its original operational state? Would reloading my Adobe CS3 solve the problem? Is there anything I should/can do before I resort to that (a very timely process)?

Conflict Appointment not Syncing to iPhone from Outlook 2003

I am using Outlook 2003 in the office on a PC, and most of my calendar items are syncing fine, but I noticed that some events were not making it onto my iPhone.
For instance, I have a three day event, then on one of those days I have two other events. The three day event shows up on the start date (which is okay)and one of those individual events is showing up, but the other one is not showing up. One of the events, even though it is conflicting, is showing up; so, I am not sure why the other event will not show up. Does it have anything to do with the content I may have in the notes/email section?

I have the same problem with the iTouch. What makes it even more frustrating is when I don't realize that this has happened and when I sync the next time the recurring events in Outlook get deleted because the iTouch doesn't show them.
The strange thing is that this does not happen to all of the recurring events. For me, it did not sync the recurring morning events, but the evening events did. Go figure!
Is there some setting I have to check? Is this an Outlook Add-On conflict?
Help on this one would be great. I am using Outlook 2002, iTunes 8, and Windows XP Service Pack 3.

NAC problem. Cant add server.

I cant add a nac server to CAM. Error: Failed to add server: Conflicting Clean Access Server with IP address <10.52.244.146> must first be removed.
I add server with ip: 10.52.244.194. I checked all the settings. This address is not use in the settings of server whit IP - 10.52.244.146.
In the logs I dont see useful information.
Why do I have this error on the CAM???

Jennifer. In CSCtd27095 says: The repair updates only the CAS file locally. The fix/repair should update the CAM's database with the CAS's new SSKey. I reconfigure perfigo service with right SSkey on my CAS (10.52.244.194). Does not help. I cant reconfigure perfigo on my CAM, because 10 servers in work.
P.S.
When i delete CAS with IP 10.52.244.146, then i can add CAS (10.52.244.194). But when i just change CAS IP - 10.52.244.194 on, for example, 10.52.244.154 anyway i see this error.
What create a conflict of these servers?

Conflicting header files

i've posted this question in #archlinux channel too but no one answered me (maybe because it's sunday morning and the most of the ppl is sleeping ) so i hope i'll be more lucky here..
anyway.. i have a problem during the installation (from source) of a library....the problem is that the include files of this library have names that are already used by other include files installed in /usr/include ... so i tried to install these include files in /usr/include/cdk.. but the problem is that these files refer each other with (for example) #include <menu.h> so when i include them all these references don't work...
is there any way to solve this problem? (i would like to avoid using /usr/local/include directory)
i've got another question too.. which is the file where i can set the header files search dir? and where is the one that defines the /usr/include and /usr/local/include search dir? i thought it was /etc/profile but i was wrong..
someone told me to try in .bashrc but i didn't find anything in it..

The main question appears to be whether this package should replace dbus-python or coexist with it.
If python-dbus-bzr is intended to replace the functionality of dbus-python, the conflicts are normal and you should add a conflicts line to the pkgbuild.
In case you want them to coexist, the changes are needed.
Given that the source uses the same paths/filenames as dbus-python, it does look like this package must replace dbus-python.

Frozen out menu ribbon in Word 2013 and cannot preview word documents in Outlook 2013

I seem to be having a recurring problem with Word 2013 from Office Home Edition single user. When I try to put a caption on a table, the entire document page layout changes from portrait to something close to landscape and then the entire menu ribbon freezes
out. I usually have to save the file, close and reopen using the open and repair feature as the document only opens in read only after this incidence happens. Since the first time I experienced this in early July, I haven't been able to preview Word files
in office outlook 2013 and the protected mode feature hasn't worked since then either.
Can I get some help with this please? I reinstalled, did online fixing and tried a few other fixes to no avail. Could it have started as a result of my installing a trial version of Office Visio which comes as a totally different package from my Home edition?

Is this the only action that will result in the issue? Does this happen to any Word documents?
The first thing that I'd suggest you to do is to install any available updates to your system and Office installation, and then verify result.
Then, please check if you have any add-ins integrated with your Word 2013 (please note that some programs might install add-ins automatically), try in safe mode and see if issue was caused by some add-in conflicts:

A specific web site does not load properly. I have looked through java help, firewall help and have not found a solution.

The web site www.everbank.com has been updated. It has a 3 panel display in the top half that rotates through the three offerings and you can pause it if you wish. It does not display on Firefox. I am using 19.0.2 and it says it is up to date. Everbank has looked into and it displays correctly for them and it displays correctly for me on IE9. I inadvertantly have the beta version of Mozilla (19.2) on my desktop and the web page displays correctly there. I have cleared the cache, looked at firewall settings (Windows 7) and have added Mozilla. Nothing has helped.

It works for me as long as JavaScript is enabled. If it's not enabled, I get a jumble of text as the 3 slides are superimposed on one another. Do you just get a blank area?
Since you cleared your cache, out of data pages, style sheet, and scripts shouldn't be a factor. Could you also clear your cookies for the site? While viewing a page on the site:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Remove the everbank cookies individually there, then try reloading the page. Does that make any difference?
When you compared with the beta version of Firefox, were you running with the identical settings folder, i.e., same bookmarks, settings, and add-ons? I'm guessing there might be a difference.
To check for potential add-on conflicts, try disabling ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions here, then restart Firefox:
