Add - On Error on Server

Hello,
I have an add-on application working on 2005A patch 39. On one of our client's site I have a strange problem. The addon works on some of the clients but not on the servers. We need it to work on the citrix server so as to be available to other users.
I have tested it on the citrix server prior to the citrix installation but I get the following error.
Common Language runtime debugging services.
Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.Process Id 0x808(2056), Thread id 0x710(1808)
Does it have to do with windows server 2003 ?
I have done the following so far with no avail :-
1.Done a clean format
2.Installad .NET SDK 1.1
3.Installed .NET 2.0
4.Installed visual studio
I am using the exact same files since, on the server there is the SAP client, just like the other clients.

The issue got resolved after installing MS Office on the server. This installation provided certain dlls that were missing particulaly for MS Excel since the addon process CSV files.

I cannot find the answer anywhere. You need to give answers to how to fix these errors because when I "search" "error code" or the number there is NOTHING. NOTHING! Yet you give us these stupid error codes
then you do not give us ANYTHING on how to fix these. These error codes make me so mad it makes me hate outlook, and hate the developers and hate microsoft. How in the world can you give us ERROR codes without the explanation of what
to do or how to fix it. You need to add each error code number in your "search" then explain what it is and how to fix it. I am not a tech. I am a lawyer. I have googled the entire string of error code and nothing is clear.
So, for the last several years, I get these error codes. Also, there is another error code that won't go away--it is the password error code that asks if I want to store the password. Yes, so I say YES. but it pops back. I am sick of this. This is the reason

I understand how frustrated you are when facing such an issue, maybe I can provide some suggestions on the problem.
Based on the description, you should be using an IMAP account setup in Outlook. As for the error message, usually it's caused by a corrupted message on the Server. I suggest you logon the Webmail site, check if sending/receiving emails works well.
If you find any unusual emails that cannot be read or sent, try deleting them to try again.
I also suggest you create a new profile to setup the IMAP account:

Contact your Email Service Provider to get the correct and latest account settings, since you have been using Outlook for years, some settings may have been changed while you haven't been informed.

Error -2147467259, can't add item to OPC Server

I am using a DataSocket connection to read/write through an OPC Server (GE SRTP) to PLC software (PME). Everything works fine on my 2 different development PC's in my office, both in .vi form, and executable. I have distributed my executable on our network, and 2 of the 4 PC's we use to test product work fine. The other 2 PC's have the same problem, error -2147467259, can't add item to OPC server. When the OPC Server is called by LabVIEW, it launches successfully, but immediatly shows the 'can't add item to OPC Server'. I believe that it has to do with the registry. I registered the opcproxy.dll, and it still fails. LabVIEW 7.1, Windows XP machines.

I would like to echo Sam's inquiry about launching the OPC server outside of LabVIEW and verifying that it can be connected to. Also, under what user name is the OPC server being launched? Sometimes you can run into trouble if the user name is not the current user logged onto the system, but I haven't heard of it causing this error. You can see what user launched the service under Control Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Services. You can verify the default user running the application by going to Control Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Component Services and navigating to Component Services >> Computers >> My Computer >> DCOM Config Right click on your DCOM server and select Properties. Then go to the Identity tab and make sure The Interactive User is selected.

How do I add an Address Book Server account to iPhone 3G iOS 3.1.3

Heya,
I have an iPhone 3G that is running version 3.1.3 of the iPhone OS and I need to add an Address Book Server account (that is being run on Snow Leopard Server to the phone but the only option I have is LDAP. My understanding is that Address Book Server uses CardDAV not LDAP. So I went ahead and added the account by choosing "Settings" -> "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" -> "Add Account..." ->"Other" -> "Contacts - Add LDAP Account" and entered my servers information. After selecting "Next" it prompts me with the following message:
"Cannot Connect Using SSL - Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?"
I choose "Continue" -> the message disappears and I choose "Save" -> then I'm prompted with this message:
"This account may not be able to search contacts. Are you sure you want to save?"
I choose "Save" and it appears to add it. To verify I exit "Settings" and go to "Address Book" and none of my contacts appear. I even let it sit for an hour on a WiFi connection without any luck. Can someone help?

BI Publisher report giving FX ERROR on server

Hi,
I am getting FX error on server when i am modifying the RTF file and add a new xml field to it.
A blank RTF works fine, but the moment i add any filed in the RTF from xml, it goes in error. On my local machine the RTF file is working absolutely fine and it produces a proper PDF.
Please help if anyone has faced this issue?

Have upgraded to 6.0.2 on my MacBook and get error message "Server Not Found" everytime i use Firefox; however, if i then click on my Gmail or other sites from bookmark toolbar it connects. means an extra step and that never happened before

when i first click on Firefox the URL: www.27yhbnhy6tfgvrbcfre3.com shows up and the error message "Server not Found". but i can connect to any website by just clicking on a bookmark from the toolbar (or typing in a url). this never happened with previous versions of Firefox

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

You may get the following error when you try to add users to a new
installation of Calendar Server 3.0:

Could not bind as [nsCalXItemId=10000:00001, o=Ace Industry,c=US].

This is an inconsistent problem that we are trying to duplicate on a
regular basis. There are a few solutions:

1) Create another node. This seems to work every time. 
2) Deinstall the Calendar Server completely and reinstall. Be VERY
careful of the Directory Server URL definition.

What printer model is it? I ask, because often manufacturers provide USB-only drivers for USB-only printers - for Macs, that is. In other words, if you know about CUPS from using Macs and linux, the manufacturers actually provide drivers with the comm protocol built-in, rather than make use of the USB "backend" available from CUPS. According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you deleted columns in SharePoint 2010.
Please add the following string in <system.web> section of your web.config file :
<pages validateRequest="false" enableEventValidation="false" viewStateEncryptionMode ="Never" />
Note: before changing web.config, please make a backup for the file.

Connecting to an_address.edu[000.0.00.000]:21... connected.
Logging in as anonymous ... Logged in!

==> TYPE I ... done. ==> CWD /pub/packages/solaris/freeware/sparc/5.8 ... done.
==> PASV ...
Error in server response, closing control connection.
Retrying.
This goes on for some time (20 times I believe is the the default) and just quits. What do I need to do to get pass this error?

Installed sync on Firefox 3.6.8. I receive error message: Server Incorrectly Configured. How to fix it?

I installed Sync on Windows XP Home Edition, Firefox 3.6.8, with Zone Alarm and AVG anti-virus. Sync is not updating, instead it produces error message: Server Incorrectly Configured and hangs up. How to fix it?

SharePoint designer 2013 crashes most of the time, when opening sites. Error: The server could not complete the request.

Hi,
I have few sharepoint 2013 site's, which I am trying to open in sharepoint designer 2013.
After adding the site name in open site and clicking ok, the sharepoint designer crashes. At times the sites open, but 90% of the time, the sharepoint 2013 designer has crashed. I get the message "The server could not complete the request. For
more specific information, click on the Details button".
When clicking on "Details" button, there is a empty box. The error message never gets closed and have to kill the process.
I have tried doing "IISreset" multiple times, which has not helped.
Has anybody faced this issue? How to fix this?

Firstly, I need to verify the followings:
1.Whether this issue occurred on a specify SharePoint 2013 site.
2.Whether you have extended the problematic site.
Make sure that your user is a site administrator. If you have extended the problematic site, please add it to AAM.
There are other probable causes for this issue:
1.Anonymous authentication is not configured for the problematic web application in IIS
Fix: Enable Anonymous authentication in IIS
2.Server is running out of memory
Fix: Free up memory on the server

I have been trying to install Office 2010 Pro Plus onto a Server 2003 Terminal Services server. We have an OVS license and I have followed all the procedures (and variations) noted in
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff506201.aspx . However, we still get the error message 'Only administrators have permission to add, remove, or configure server software
during a terminal service remote session.' when users logon via an RDP session. If they logon locally, the applications start without problem. I have tried the manual and .msp setup, installed via the 'Add\Remove Programs, install using the command line with
'Change User /install' and then 'Change User /execute'. None of this stops the message and allows the users to use Office via TS.
Is there a step missing from the Technet site that I need to get the users working?
Any ideas would be really appreciated.

This has not fixed my issue. I still get the message "Only administrators have permission to add, remove, or configure server software during a terminal service remote session". If I add the user into the local admins group. When I login as the
user in question or any user onto the server in question the message above appears.
When I run Lync from the shortcut on the remote drive it works. But when I run it from the desktop and start menu it displays the above error. I spoke to Ctrix who have said that it is a permissions issue. I have checked and all permissions seem to be the
same.

Incorrect Path Error - iCal Server 10.6

Hi everyone, hope you can help.
Another problem to add to the iCal server pile...
To workaround the lack of group calendar functionality, I have created a 'special' user which several staff members use to log into iCal server. This way, all staff can view and edit the same calendar data.
I configured all the Macs using iCal's automatic account creation process, and everything authenticated and worked just fine for a couple of days.
However, we then all received an iCal error advising that we check the server path to the shared calendar. It has been trying to look in here:
/principals/_uids_/<UUID of user>
I have confirmed that the UUID in the above path is consistent and correct with the 'special' user mentioned before. So... why does it work for a couple of days then fail?
I have tried removing and re-adding the account, again the error only comes up a day or two later.
*Additional Info*
I cannot find the principals folder referenced above. However, I do have the following:
Server HD/Library/CalendarServer/Documents/calendars/_uids_/1E/E2/<UUID of user>
This looked strangely similar. Using terminal, I copied the UUID folder in the above path into the _uids_ directory, and that seems to have provided a temporary fix to the problem. However, iCal is still configured to look in the principals directory, not the calendars directory that I seem to have modified.
Any thoughts?

Agreed - I also suspected it had something to do with a software update.
Still this does not fully explain the fact I cannot find the principals directory referenced in the path error. Does anybody know where this would be located on the server's HD?
At some point soon I will run a clean Snow Leopard client install back to plain 10.6 to see if I can connect to the iCal server without the error. Will also run the combo 10.6.2 updater to see if we can narrow down which update triggered the problem, if any.
If anyone could shed light on the 'principals' path it would be useful.
Oh, also, it's worth mentioning my OS X Server is not running Open Directory. All users are registered locally on the machine rather than in the LDAP domain.
