Add-on  project

HI WHAT IS THE TERMINOLOGY MEANING
add-on  project

Hi
ADD-ON PROJECT
To take advantage of the exits available within standard R/3 applications, you need to create an add-on project.  This project lets you organize the enhancement packages and exits you want to use.  The add-on project also allows you to hang add-on functionality onto the exit hooks contained with SAP enhancements.

  • How to add folder/project name to a File Naming preset

    Here's a tip to automatically add the name of the Project or its parent Folder to the filename during Import or Batch Change.
    I always used a custom field for adding my client's name to the filename upon Import or Batch Changing versions or masters. But often I would forget to change the custom name, and since it's auto-populated with the previous entry, I'd end up with a bunch of files with the wrong client's name on them. That looks kind of bad. So once I saw with Aperture 3 you can add the Project name or Folder name when relocating referenced files to the new folder structure, I was excited to be able to do the same for the filenames at import. Well, no such luck. They're not an option when you create a custom File Naming preset.
    However, I recently decided to poke around inside some plist files, and found a workaround. I discovered the format string for Folder Name is %F and Project Name is %P. The trick is getting the code into the Format Field where you create the preset.
    Create a new File Naming preset by choosing "edit" from the Version Name menu during Import or Batch Change. Drag everything you want in the name into the Format field, and enter %F or %P where you want the Folder or Project name. The tricky part is that you can't insert it between two existing criteria. It only works at the very end. After you have it in place, you can drag the criteria around to get it in the order you want.
    The alternative method is to insert the code directly into the plist. PLEASE, always make sure you're working with a copy and have a good backup when you're poking around in such things. If you have trouble getting the code to take from within Aperture, you can try this. Same as above, create a new preset, but this time, enter an F or P where you want the Folder or Project name. Give it a unique preset name and save it. Then Quit Aperture. Navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/Aperture/FileNamingPresets.plist, and make a copy of the file, then open with Property List Editor. Dropdown the plist and then dropdown the item you want to edit. You should recognize it by the preset name. Now the easy part. Click in the FormatString field and insert the % character before the F or P you entered in the Format field. Save and you're done.
    I discovered later that while the Folder and Project name works just fine during import, for some reason only the Project name works during Batch Change. The Folder name simply creates a "-" in the filename.
    In case this is seen as a hack and gets deleted, I'm also submitting it to http://www.macosxhints.com/ and I suspect if anyone from MacCreate sees it, they'll steal it too, as they're known to do.

    I do not think there is an out of the box way to do this.
    The immediate solution that comes to mind is using a workflow, that runs everytime  a document is uploaded/item created, which may be too much for your scenario.

  • How to add a project to the deployment components under deployment server

    Hi,
    When I run one of my projects in JSC, I got following error message:
    "application NeuronBank is already deployed on other targets. Please use create-application-ref command to create reference to the specified target; requested operation cannot be completed."
    So I checked the Deployed Components under Deployment Server, and my project is not listed there. I think that this might cause my problem. But I have no idea why this can happen? Can I add my project into this list and How?
    Thanks,

    to database,

    I can.  This is a bug you are seeing we will have fixed in a future release.  You are working in a "Local" form (not an online form) and that "Add submit button" should not be shown at all, that is only for an online form.  If you move your form online when signed in, then it would have a Submit button automatically in Web View and in Page View would be able to be turned on and off.
    Thanks,

  • VS2013 Community Edition : How to add multiple projects in one solution?

    I am an experienced .Net developer. I am using Visual Studio since 2005.
    Yesterday, I just installed “Visual Studio 2013 Community Edition”. Suddenly I came to know that I can’t add multiple projects to a solution. Even a project does not have
    solution !!
    I had also tried to create a blank Visual Studio solution and then tried to add projects to that solution. But after creation of project, it will not be added to that solution.
    Infact it even doesn’t have solution !!
    How can I add multiple projects to a solution in VS2013 Community Edition?

    Glad to see the problem was resolved. Thank you for sharing the solution here.

  • Dreamweaver adds animate project as object.. any way around this?

    I'd like to have my project added as normal div instead of a its default behaviour which is to add the project as an object.
    Does dreamweaver support this?
    Thanks for any feedback.

    Yes, I'm inserting the OAM file generated by Edge Animate by going the through the 'Select Insert > Media > Edge Animate Composition' options available in Dreamweaver.
    In code view you can see that the what's inserted is an <object> tag which contains the animation. An object tag makes sense for a plugin like Flash, but much less so for an animation that can naturally run in the pages DOM. Instead of calling up a whole new html document it would be great to see everything running inside a regular div.
    I'm assuming this isn't an option?

  • Error when trying to add a project to Subversion source control

    When trying to add a project to source control from within the OPM 10 studio (File - Source Control - Add Project to Source Control), the following error occurs:
    "There was a problem accessing the source control system, probably due to network or contention issues. A retry is recommended."
    This has been tried with Subversion versions 1.6.2, 1.6.5 and 1.6.6, with local repositories and repositories on a Apache webserver.
    Once the project has been added to a repository, by using TortoiseSVN for example, working with source control is no problem.
    Does anyone have a clue what the problem (and a solution) might be?
    Thanks,
    Theo.

    Hi,
    Davin mentioned:
    This appears to be an issue with the source control integration. We are looking into it.I am using OPM 10.0.1.14
    The OPM help on collaborating mentions:
    Open a rulebase project from source control
    To open an existing Oracle Policy Modeling project from a source control repository:
    In Oracle Policy Modeling, select File | Source Control | Open Existing Project from Source Control. When I open the File menu I do not see the "Source Control" at all.
    Is this caused by an installation error or part of the "issue with the source control integration" ?
    Please let me know if I'm the only one experiencing this problem ....
    Thankx,
    Paul

  • DRQ : add the "Project Code" column in the "Recurring Postings" function

    Hello,
    This is a DRQ about the Recurring Postings function.
    It concerns the "Recurring Postings" functionality (Menu "Financials --> Recurring Postings").
    Version : 2007A SP00 PL38
    Description of requirements :
    In the current version of SBO ( 2007A SP00 PL38 ) when we create some recurring postings, our customers need to specify the "project code" information for each line (in addition to the "Distribution Rules").
    Business needs:
    Some of our SAP B1 customers use the Project codes for "Cost Accounting" follow up. They need to specify the "Project Code" for each line in the Journal entries created in SBO. In the Recurring Postings, it is not possile to specify that kind of information in the current version of SBO!
    Current Workaround:
    As it is not possible to specify the "Project Code" for each line added in the Recurring Postings recorded as templates, our customers have to re-open each Journal entries created thanks to Recurring Postings execution and to manually add the "Project Code" for each line where it is missing.
    Proposed solution:
    The solution is simple : simply add the "Project Code" column in the Recurring Postings templates will allow the journal entries created to automatically get this information and will avoid the users to modify manually each journal entries generated with the "Recurring Postings" function.
    Kind Regards.
    Grégory

    The "project" field should also be available in the "Account Balance" grid.  Every journal entry has a project code so it makes no sense that you can not view, filter, or sort by this field.

  • How to add a project into master project by Powershell

    How to add a master project and sub-projects powershell
    I use project server 2013, I want inserting multiple sub-project plans into a project master

    Hello,
    You can't do this directly in PowerShell using the PSI etc. as the PSI can't create master projects / insert subprojects. You could however do this in VBA if required or automate Project using PowerShell COM object.

  • I would like to add a project to an existing project.

    I am trying to add a photo project to my existing project. Both projects work independantly. I did the the file add procedure and now both projects work independently when chosen from the project. I would like to link them up now by adding some navigation between them, Maybe a button from one to the other so I can access the function and come back to the original. I cannot get an access to link the two. I am wondering is there a way to do this.
    Project A gets a button that connects with Project B then Project B gets a button that takes you home to Project A.

  • How can I add a Project to a Community?

    We are moving to Collab 4.1.
    Now I using the publicated colaboration API. (com.plumtree.collaboration.api)
    I succesfully created the Project.
    I used preferenceManager  to add "availableProjectIDs-commID"-s.
    But the new project on my community page doesen't appear.
    It worked on Collab3, but now the new project appears only when I restart the Tomcat.
    It's maybe a caching problem, but I cant find out how to solve it.
    So what to do?

    Hi Balaji,
    Based on your issue, I agree with Adrian's suggestion. Therefore, I suggest you can try Adrian's suggestion to refer the link of Cybermaxs' reply check your issue.
    In addition, I suggest you can use fiddler to check the header definition.

  • What kind of component to use as CI if I want to add a project costing rec

    Seems like the Project_Express and Intfc_Proj_Express components do not allow, by default, for a creation of new records. When I tried to enable the creation by allowing for Adds in the component properties, and then create CIs from these components, it still will not allow me to create a record (the create in the CI tester is disabled). Any ideas on how to create a project costing transaction record via a CI?

    Allright I found an answer myself. What we call Cinch-cabel in German is a common phono-cable in English...
    so in order to extend the speakercables just use male to female phono-cable!

  • Add new project but "BP Project" in Accounting not updated.

    Hi,
    This is a bit tricky.  If you have a solution for this it would be cool.
    I have a UDF called Project Name and when the user adds the Sales Order,
    I would like the "BP Project" in Accounting be updated with the new project which I just added with the ProjectService
    I've been able to add the value with the ValidValues of the IComboBox for the BP Project item but
    seems that there's something not working well.
    It pops the Projects dialog like if the item doesn't exist but I just added it with the ProjectService and its really in the table
    So what I suspect is that the control BP Project on the form needs to be updated but I don't know how to do it.
    Any good and simple idea to update this control ?
    I did look with DataBind and everything but I'm unable to figure out how to do it
    Edited by: Marc Roussel on May 1, 2008 8:30 PM

    Thank you very much.  It is working this way.  Better have this way then no way I'm glad to share the code with you all
    Here's the code that starts the process from the ItemEvent
    if (pVal.EventType == SAPbouiCOM.BoEventTypes.et_ITEM_PRESSED && pVal.BeforeAction)
        if (pVal.FormType == 139 && pVal.ItemUID == "1")
            if (SBO_Application.Forms.ActiveForm.Mode == BoFormMode.fm_ADD_MODE || SBO_Application.Forms.ActiveForm.Mode == BoFormMode.fm_UPDATE_MODE)
                BubbleEvent = ValidateProjectName();
    This is the code that validates if the UDF project name is there and if yes, try to create it by calling the method below
    private bool ValidateProjectName()
            bool ReturnBubble = true;
            SAPbouiCOM.EditText ProjectName = null;
            try
                ProjectName = (SAPbouiCOM.EditText)SBO_Application.Forms.GetForm("-139", 0).Items.Item("U_project_name").Specific;
            catch
                SBO_Application.SendKeys("^+U");
                ProjectName = (SAPbouiCOM.EditText)SBO_Application.Forms.GetForm("-139", 0).Items.Item("U_project_name").Specific;
            string ProjectCode = ProjectName.Value.ToString().Trim();
            if (ProjectCode == "")
                ReturnBubble = false;
                FortSum.SAP.ShowMessage(SBO_Application, "Le nom du projet ne peux pas être vide...", "The project's name can't be empty...");
            else
                if (!IsProjectExist(ProjectCode))
                    CreateProject(ProjectCode, ProjectCode, false);
            System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ReleaseComObject(ProjectName);
            ProjectName = null;
            return ReturnBubble;
    Here's the code that creates the project : (Note - ProjectForm.Visible = false does nothing since the form pops up anyway)
    private bool CreateProject(string ProjectCode, string ProjectName)
            bool Done = true;
            try
                SAPbouiCOM.ComboBox Projects = (SAPbouiCOM.ComboBox)SBO_Application.Forms.GetForm("139", 0).Items.Item("157").Specific;
                Projects.Select("Define New", BoSearchKey.psk_ByValue);
                SAPbouiCOM.Form ProjectForm = SBO_Application.Forms.GetForm("711", 1);
                ProjectForm.Visible = false;
                SAPbouiCOM.Matrix ProjectsMatrix = (SAPbouiCOM.Matrix)ProjectForm.Items.Item("3").Specific;
                ((SAPbouiCOM.EditText)ProjectsMatrix.Columns.Item("PrjCode").Cells.Item(ProjectsMatrix.RowCount).Specific).Value = ProjectCode;
                ((SAPbouiCOM.EditText)ProjectsMatrix.Columns.Item("PrjName").Cells.Item(ProjectsMatrix.RowCount).Specific).Value = ProjectName;
                ProjectForm.Items.Item("1").Click(BoCellClickType.ct_Regular);
                ProjectForm.Close();
                Projects.Select(ProjectCode, BoSearchKey.psk_ByValue);
                FortSum.General.ReleaseComObject(new object[] { ProjectForm, ProjectsMatrix });
                ProjectForm = null;
                ProjectsMatrix = null;
            catch (Exception ex)
                FortSum.SAP.ShowMessage(SBO_Application, ex.Message, ex.Message);
                Done = false;
            return Done;
