During upgrade i had to delete Pre configured smart forms Addon ( According to note 572392 ) .

The latest pre configured smart form addon ( Best Practice all in one)  available is for EHP3.
Please let me how to proceed with this situation as there may be other compaines who are on EHP4 and use pre configured smart forms.
    Appreciate your help.

how to add empty rows in table in smart form?
    plz help me regarding this
send me ur queries to [email protected]

You will need to add some extra rows to the internal table that your table is displaying.  Use a program node to append additional rows with a key but no argument.
Alternaively a template may me more suitable for your requirement than a table.
Finally, please do not include you e-mail address in your question.  Your question and the answers provided to it are for the benefit of everyone in the Community.

    Hi,
Go to Nace .The application for Goods Issues is
ME - Inventory Management -> select and click on output types ->select wa03 output type and click on processing routines here you can find the form name and the driver program name.So while printing select wa03 as the output type.

  • E-Recruiting - 'Z' Smart Form Configuration.

    Hi,
We need to change the smart form for Application/Candidate Data Overview in E-Recruiting.
    Application Data Overview path,
Recruiter Application -> Personal Pages -> Candidate Selection -> Select ‘Requisition’ and click Assignment -> Click highlighted application number in the Application column.
    Candidate Data Overview path,
Recruiter Application -> Personal Pages -> Candidate Selection -> Select ‘Requisition’ and click Assignment -> Click highlighted Candidate Name in the Candidate column.
May I know IMG steps to call the ‘Z’ smart form and parameters as well?
Do let me know, if you need anything else.
    Regards,
    ...Naddy

    Hello Naddy,
the IMG node Ollivier pointed to is correct. For the release 600 there is just an additional level separating bsp and webdynpro but the nodes for bsp and their use stay the same.
To replace the 2 smartforms all you have to do is to change the following 2 entries in the table which are usually in the system from the original client copy 000 -> development client:
    NAME                 Paramtype                 Parameter
    hrrcf_appl_dovr      SF_VIEW_APPL              HRRCF_DATA_SUMMARY_APPLICATION
    hrrcf_cand_dovr      SF_VIEW_CAND              HRRCF_CANDIDATE_PREVIEW
Just set your customer smartform instead of the SAP one as parameter. If the 2 entries are missing just add them to the table. Be sure to use NO capital letters for the application name.
    Best Regards
    Roman Weise
PS: the mantenance view will check the interface of the smartform you customize against the standard one. The interfaces have to be equal including flage like optional and handing as value.

  • SMART FORMS: How are they used and how can they be configured/enhanced?

    Hi Experts,
I would like to know how are the smart forms used in crm.I know that by using t-code SMARTFORMS we can view/edit standard smart forms . But I am confused about the fact that how are they used.If some one can list me the steps to be followed in simple language that would be of great help.
Any pointers would also be appreciated.
    Regards,
    Aneesh

    Hi Aneesh,
In CRm we use smartforms to send mail to Business partners based on the client requirement. This sending process will be defined using Actions. Through actions we will trigger the smartform and send to the concerned busines partner mail id.
    Hope this helps you.

  • Smart Form for Service Desk

    Hey All
I have a pretty simple question to ask to anyone who has configured Service Desk. Actually i want to send the End User an email whenever the status of the message he created is changed to User Feedback. Am doing it currently with the help of an action. What I am not sure of is which Smart Form is best for this purpose. Currently I am using this :
    Form Name: CRM_SLFN_ORDER_SERVICE_01
    Processing Class: CL_DOC_PROCESSING_CRM_ORDER
    Processing Method: CRM_SRVORDER_EXEC_SMART_FORM
The problem is that the form usually only contains the first description entered in the message. I want it to have complete correspondence ie all the descriptions, reply and solutions that are there in the message.
    Regards
    Bilal Nazir

    Hi Bilal,
We copied the standard Form: CRM_SLFN_ORDER_SERVICE_01 and made some modifications to it to fit our needs. We wanted to display all text types in the description field and to display it in descending order by date and time.
Here's the code that we created:
Create Structure and Table type below:
    1. Structure:     ZTEXT_HEADER_01
    Description: Text header for ZRMD_ORDER
Component      Component Type    Data type     Length   Decimal     Short text
TDOBJECT       TDOBJECT            CHAR     10           0               Texts: application object
TDID             TDID                         CHAR     4             0     Text ID
TDTEXT             TDTEXT        CHAR     30           0                 Short text
TDLINE             TDLINE        CHAR     132          0     Text line
TDFDATE             TDFDATE        DATS     8              0     Date creat
TDFTIME              TDFTIME        TIMS     6              0     Time Created
    2. Table Type: ZTEXT_HEADER_01_TAB
Short text   :  Table of Text header for ZRMD_ORDER
    Line type: ZTEXT_HEADER_01.
    At Global definition:
    - Add Variables: (table below)
Variable name     Type assignment     Associated type             Default value
    ZGT_TEXT                         TYPE                    CRMT_TEXT_WRKT
    ZGS_TEXT                         TYPE                    CRMT_TEXT_WRK
    ZGT_TEXT_HEADER        TYPE                    ZTEXT_HEADER_01_TAB
    ZGS_TEXT_HEADER        TYPE                    ZTEXT_HEADER_01
    ZTDLINE                        TYPE                            TLINE
    ZGV_DISABLE_TEXT        TYPE                               C                                    ‘Y’
    - At the Initialization routine: Add the logics to get the long text right after saved the support message. Store long text into buffer (internal table - GT_TEXT_HEADER) and format it, sort the internal table descending by date and time.

    Build the Text header table
      loop at ZGT_TEXT into ZGS_TEXT.
         clear ZGS_TEXT_HEADER.

         ZGS_TEXT_HEADER-TDFTIME   =   ZGS_TEXT-STXH-TDFTIME.
         append ZGS_TEXT_HEADER to ZGT_TEXT_HEADER.
         clear ZGS_TEXT_HEADER.
       Detail:
         loop at ZGS_TEXT-LINES into ZTDLINE.
            ZGS_TEXT_HEADER-TDLINE = ZTDLINE-TDLINE.
            append ZGS_TEXT_HEADER TO ZGT_TEXT_HEADER.
         endloop.
       Make separated line
         clear ZGS_TEXT_HEADER.
         append ZGS_TEXT_HEADER to ZGT_TEXT_HEADER.
      endloop.
1.Add component under Main Main Window named  “NEW_TEXT” (New Text for Text Header) to display title: Long texts
2.Add under Main Main Window new loop named “NEW_TEXT_HEADER_LOOP” (Transaction Header Long Texts) to display long text details for each of difference text ID.
This loop is using the internal table GT_TEXT_HEADER:
    - Print out the Text ID, Date, time changed at the Text:
    “NEW_TEXT_HEADER_TEXTID_DESC”
    - Print out the Details of long text at text “NEW_TEXT_HEADER_TEXTID_DATA”.
3.Skip the old logics of printout of long text by set condition ZGV_DISABLE_TEXT <> ‘Y’. At the following component under Main Main Window :
    - “TEXT_HEADER_LOOP” - Transaction Header Long Texts.
    - “GET_TEXTID_TEXT” - Text ID Description.
    - “TEXT_HEADER_TEXTID_DESC” - Text ID Description, Date.
    - “TEXT_HEADER_TEXTID_DATA” - Long Text
    - “TEXT_HEADER_EMPTY_LINE” - Blank Line.
The formatting didn't work properly for the tables in this reply section, it's removing the spaces.
Let me know if it was helpful.

    Salpi

  • Smart Form and Module Pool

Can anybody provide me good step by step procedurehow create smart form and module pool programming.
My email Id is [email protected]

    hi,
SAP Smartforms can be used for creating and maintaining forms for mass printing in SAP Systems. The output medium for Smartforms support printer, fax, e-mail, or the Internet (by using the generated XML output).
According to SAP, you need neither have any programming knowledge nor use a Script language to adapt standard forms. However, basic ABAP programming skills are required only in special cases (for example, to call a function module you created or for complex and extensive conditions).
    1. Create a new smartforms
    Transaction code SMARTFORMS
    Create new smartforms call ZSMART
    2. Define looping process for internal table
    Pages and windows
First Page -> Header Window (Cursor at First Page then click Edit -> Node -> Create)
Here, you can specify your title and page numbering
    &SFSY-PAGE& (Page 1) of &SFSY-FORMPAGES(Z4.0)& (Total Page)
Main windows -> TABLE -> DATA
In the Loop section, tick Internal table and fill in
ITAB1 (table in ABAP SMARTFORM calling function) INTO ITAB2
    3. Define table in smartforms
    Global settings :
    Form interface
Variable name    Type assignment   Reference type
    ITAB1               TYPE                  Table Structure
    Global definitions
Variable name    Type assignment   Reference type
    ITAB2               TYPE                  Table Structure
    4. To display the data in the form
Make used of the Table Painter and declare the Line Type in Tabstrips Table
e.g.  HD_GEN for printing header details,
            IT_GEN  for printing data details.
You have to specify the Line Type in your Text elements in the Tabstrips Output options.
Tick the New Line and specify the Line Type for outputting the data.
Declare your output fields in Text elements
    Tabstrips - Output Options
For different fonts use this Style : IDWTCERTSTYLE
For Quantity or Amout you can used this variable &GS_ITAB-AMOUNT(12.2)&
    5. Calling SMARTFORMS from your ABAP program
    REPORT ZSMARTFORM.
Calling SMARTFORMS from your ABAP program.
Collecting all the table data in your program, and pass once to SMARTFORMS
    SMARTFORMS
Declare your table type in :-
    Global Settings -> Form Interface
    Global Definintions -> Global Data
Main Window -> Table -> DATA

    What is SAP Smart Forms?
SAP Smart Forms is introduced in SAP Basis Release 4.6C as the tool for creating and maintaining forms.
SAP Smart Forms allow you to execute simple modifications to the form and in the form logic by using simple graphical tools; in 90% of all cases, this won't include any programming effort. Thus, a power user without any programming knowledge can
configure forms with data from an SAP System for the relevant business processes.
To print a form, you need a program for data retrieval and a Smart Form that contains the entire from logic. As data retrieval and form logic are separated, you must only adapt the Smart Form if changes to the form logic are necessary. The application program passes the data via a function module interface to the Smart Form. When activating the Smart Form, the system automatically generates a function module. At runtime, the system processes this function module.
You can insert static and dynamic tables. This includes line feeds in individual table cells, triggering events for table headings and subtotals, and sorting data before output.
You can check individual nodes as well as the entire form and find any existing errors in the tree structure. The data flow analysis checks whether all fields (variables) have a defined value at the moment they are displayed.
SAP Smart Forms allow you to include graphics, which you can display either as part of the form or as background graphics. You use background graphics to copy the layout of an existing (scanned) form or to lend forms a company-specific look. During printout, you can suppress the background graphic, if desired.
SAP Smart Forms also support postage optimizing.
Also read SAP Note No. 168368 - Smart Forms: New form tool in Release 4.6C
What Transaction to start SAP Smart Forms?
Execute transaction SMARTFORMS to start SAP Smart Forms.
Key Benefits of SAP Smart Forms:
SAP Smart Forms allows you to reduce considerably the implementation costs of mySAP.com solutions since forms can be adjusted in minimum time.
You design a form using the graphical Form Painter and the graphical Table Painter. The form logic is represented by a hierarchy structure (tree structure) that consists of individual nodes, such as nodes for global settings, nodes for texts, nodes for output tables, or nodes for graphics.
To make changes, use Drag & Drop, Copy & Paste, and select different attributes.
These actions do not include writing of coding lines or using a Script language.
Using your form description maintained in the Form Builder, Smart Forms generates a function module that encapsulates layout, content and form logic. So you do not need a group of function modules to print a form, but only one.
For Web publishing, the system provides a generated XML output of the processed form.
Smart Forms provides a data stream called XML for Smart Forms (XSF) to allow the use of 3rd party printing tools. XSF passes form content from R/3 to an external product without passing any layout information about the Smart Form.

Module pool programs are created in abap development work bench (TCODE: SE80).
Here we can do all the works whatever you can do in abap.
Module pool programs are also called dialog programs.
The module Pool are reports prepared for different screens and to manage the sequence of events of these screens, in the transaction SE80 you can see all the dynpros that you have for this kind of report, add new ones, add all types of element to the report.
Process Before Output is the part of the dynpro code that is processed before the user can do anything with the data in the screen
Process After Input is the part of the dynpro code that is processed after the interaction with the user.
module pool programs are excuted using Tcodes

  • Text inversed in the smart form table

    Dear all,
I'm new in ABAP and working on a smart form which has a cell in table shows an article description in both Arabic & English
but the Arabic text appears in reversed sequence  in the print preview and after printing it shows like this ##### #########.
any idea how to solve this problem
    thanks

    Hello,
Please see the following SAP Note about printing Arabic:
    587150 - Support of Arabic-script languages
For your Unicode system, then you should be able to print Arabic
characters via device type ARSWIN or device type SWINCF.
The Unicode cascading fonts solution with the device type SWINCF
described in the following SAP Note:

So you need to configure a Frontend output device that uses device type
ARSWIN and use this to create the print with the Arabic characters.

  • Text element not gettin refreshed in smart form

    Hi
Text element does not get refreshed in the smart form preview.
I have a selection screen on which i have a few selection parameters and three application
toolbar buttons. "Save" , "Preview" and "Print". At the end of selection screen I have a
button "text" which when clicked takes me to the text element editor(FM  'TEXT_EDIT' )
I have to enter a project number on the selection screen, enter all other details and
then click on the "Text" button. I would then change /edit some text etc and come back
to sel screen. Now i click on preview , the smart form shows up and the text gets dispalyed
    with the modified text.
I am passing the text name by appending "sometext" + project number to the TEXT_EDIT
and while eiditing and as a parameter to the smart form. In the smart form i have given the variable in the "include text".
    Now Herez the problem.
I am still in selection screen and clik on the "text" button and it takes me to the
text editor. Now i add more lines, save and come back. Now i clik on preview
button and it displays the old text data.
When i come out of the transaction and renter , clik on the preview it displays data
correctly. Now if i repeat the steps
1.edit text button , add a few lines
2.preview button, shows data as entered in step 1.
3.edit text button, add few more lines
4.preview button .. the text displays is from step 1 and not 3.
I am not sure if this is lot of info for anybody to write an answer straight away but
if u need more info i can provide. I can do a read_text in the smart form but its toooooo
much of a pain for the data i need to display. million adjustments to be taken care of.
What could be the problem ? I have given all the basic settings like save parameter
in edit_text fm , checked all the print preview options in sdn.
    Here are my questions
    1. Why is the text element not getting refreshed.
    2. After a form is displayed for preview , will it store anywhere in the buffer ? if yes
is there any method to clear it ?

    Hi,
The problem is not with text elements, it might be your size of window which you are using to display the text elements. Check your window size and modify that accordingly.
