Add on (ps3 to PS4) exchange

I have purchest two add ons to DB XENOVERSE but I was ment to get it in ps4 format not ps3 , I haven't touched it since the purchase , and I done it all on my phone so I haven't sent it to my ps console yet is there any solution or do I just repurchase them in ps4 format ? Cheers

You can do it but when you sign in you need to go to  account, media and devices then deactivate all devices. It can only be done once every six months however and then you need to reactivate the devices you want on your account.

  • Advice on Upgrading from PS3 to PS4 Needed!

Hi all,I've been thinking on selling my PS3 along with games etc. and buying a PS4 for a while now, but I've always been put off doing so because of all I may lose and the process of doing so in general. I use PlayTV on my PS3 to watch, pause and record live TV - it has many faults, but I find it great to use and can't see an alternative on PS4, is there one? The official Bluetooth remote is hands down better than any other remote I've used, but I don't see one available for PS4. In summary:- Can I watch, pause and record live TV through a PS4 or do I need an eternal device?- Is there an official Bluetooth remote available for the PS4?- Are all major video format such as MP4, MKV, AVI supported?- How best can I back up save games, games downloaded from the store, video/audio files etc.?- Am I missing anything? Any advice on making the transition would be really appreciated, I've been kind of dreading it for a while and need a little help!

  • When I add an event to my exchange calendar in my iphone5 it no longer syncs with ms exchange, can this be fixed?

We use MS Exchange for our business Contacts, Email and Calendars. When I add an event to my exchange calendar in my iphone5 it will not syncronize to my exchange server, it does works from ms exchange to the phone. Can this be fixed?

This functionality generally works fine for most people.
It's going to come down to specific details regarding your Exchange Server version and a whole lot of stuff.

  • Can't add a new POP or Exchange Account since SL

My existing accounts upgraded and are working fine, but I can't add any new POP account or Exchange account since the upgrade.
Mail won't save the password for the new account in any of the preference settings. When I finish the set-up Mail keeps asking me to type in my password. When I do it keeps giving me a message saying the password was rejected by the server.
I repaired keychain access and deleted any keychains associated with the new account I was trying to add. Didn't help. I had my ISP open port 25 while on the phone with them. Didn't work. I've gone into the Advanced Tab and edit server list and tried every setting possible. Tried with authentication and without. I've tried it from a new desktop and from the one where my existing accounts are. I've tried turning the new account which is working on my iphone off and then adding it to Mail. No luck.
I don't know code. Any other work around suggestions?

I can't add the new account to even get to the point where I could send or receive. I go through the entire set up but the account never goes online. Once i have it all set up is where I started playing around with the port settings, etc. Still have never been able to get it online. The account works fine on my iphone. An account with the same isp provider that was already working in Mail before SL is working fine. I upgraded a new imac that I bought in July and a 3 year old one. Same problem on both. Can't add a new POP AT&T Yahoo account or an Exchange account to Mail 4.0. I've read other threads and tried several different trouble shooting suggestions. I repaired the keychain. I've deleted the passowrd from keychain and tried re-entering them. The password never saves in the Mail preferences for the new account I am trying to add. At the same time every time I am prompted to type in the password it tell me the password is rejected. I tried changing the username like you mentioned. Tried just the user name alone and with the extension "@att.net". Didn't help.
    Any other ideas?

    Hi MrxGameFreak,
There's no reason your brand new PS3 should be locking up on you. Please don't hesitate to bring it back. As long as you're still within the 30 day return period, you're welcome to swap it out with anything you'd like.

  • Upgrade from PS3 to PS4 - do filters have to be reinstalled?

I have been working on PS3 and have a number of filter families that I have installed and that are in my PS3 filter pulldown menu.  If I upgrade to PS4 do those independent filters (e.g., Autofx, PowerRetouch) get automatically 'carried along' (WHOA! great computer lingo there!) or do I have to reinstall each family?   As a secondary question, if you'd like to tell me whether you find working with PS4 better/easier/worse than PS3, I'd sure like to hear it.
    Thanks!

    Been there, done that.
Yes you will have to "migrate" the filters to CS4.
I have read on these pages that if you have them in your User/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Photoshop/Plugins folder, that they should still work when you upgrade, but I have never installed filters there. I always put them in the Application folder.
    Here's what I found.
I use Alien Skin and Flaming Pear filters for a lot of the work I do. While Flaming Pear filters are drag and drop to install, then just enter the license code again the Alien Skin filters use an installer and the set I had for CS3 was incompatible with CS4. I had to get a whole new set of their EyeCandy, ImageDoctor and Xenofex filters.
It may be possible to avoid this by having them installed to the Application Support folder, so they are specific to your user account, but again, I've never done it that way.
As to your other question, I've used Photoshop since version 5 on an old G3 iMac with OS 9. EVERY new release has gotten better than the one before it. Of course my hardware has gotten better with time and that helps too, but the features improve every time, or I'm pretty sure I'd still be using CS or CS2.

  • How to put your PS3 or PS4 into a DMZ

    Hello!
You're most likely here because you've thrown something out of your window in frustration at being randomly booted from an epic game of Modern Warfare 2. It's no fun, we know. But we're here to help you out...
Most problems like this can be resolved by placing your PlayStation 3 Console in a De-Militarised Zone (or DMZ). This means that your router will not block any internet traffic to your console, leaving you free to breathe the open air of MW2 multiplayer goodness. Ahhh....
Placing your console in a DMZ is not a difficult thing to do, but you will need to set aside half an hour to get to grips with the process - and you'll need administrator access to your router.
First things first, turn on your console and go to Settings > Network Settings.
From here, you can change all the bits and gubbins which help your PS3 connect to the internet.
You will need to give your PS3 a static IP address. IP addresses are like street addresses, only for your internet network. A static IP address will ensure that your router always knows where it can find your PS3.
To do this, first you'll need to go to the Settings and Connection Status List and make a note of 2 numbers:
    1. The 'IP Address'
    2. The 'Default Router'
Once you've got these, back out of this menu and go to the Internet Connection Settings menu. From here, follow these steps:
    1. Select 'Custom'
    2. Select the type of connection your using (If your PS3 is plugged in to the router, select 'Wired', if not you're using a wireless connection, select that intead.)
    3. If you selected wireless, set up your connection as normal untill you get to the IP Address menu.
    4. If you selected wired, select 'Auto-Detect' at the next screen and continue to the IP Address menu.
    5. At the IP Address menu, select 'Manual'.
Remember those numbers you marked down earlier? Here's why you noted them!
You'll now see a screen with 5 options:
    IP Address
Here, you need to input the number you noted down earlier. However, you should change the last group of 3 digits to something else. Your safest bet is to increase this number by 50 and use that. So, if the IP address you noted earlier was 192.168.0.50 then your new IP address would be 192.168.0.100
Note that the numbers here only go up to 255, so use that as a maximum if you need to. Be sure to ONLY change the last group of numbers! Make a note of the number you decided to go with.
    Subnet Mask
This is almost always 255.255.255.0, don't change this unless you have a specific reason to do so.
    Default Router
The second of the numbers you wrote down, all you need to do here is input the IP address of your router.
    Primary DNS
This bit is super easy. Remember the number you placed in 'Default Router'? Whack it in here again!
    Secondary DNS
You don't need anything at all here, unless you have a specific reason to input a Secondary DNS.
Once you're done here, make sure to make a note of the IP address you entered at this menu and hit right on the d-pad to advance.
    6. For MTU - select Automatic
    7. Do not use a proxy server, unless you have a specific reason to use one!
    8. UPnP - it's usually a good idea to enable this, but if you have voice comms trouble after using this guide, try disabling it.
    9. Review the settings and test the connection!
Now, don't panic. Your PS3 may scream at you that it cant connect to PSN. In the words of Revolver Ocelot, "We're not finished yet!"
Your next task is to log on to your router as an administrator. Check your router's manual for details on how to do this (alternatively, google is your friend).
Somewhere in the plethora of settings and techy bits that make up your router's menu will be an option to assign a 'DMZ'. I cant point you directly to this since every router differs, your best bet is that good ole' friend google.
Once you find it, you'll be asked to input an IP address for your DMZ. Here, you need to put in the IP address you gave your PS3 earlier, the one you noted down after step 5 of this guide. Once you've done that, save your settings, wait for your router to sort itself out, then dance a bit - you're nearly done.
Troop over to your PS3 and go back into Network Settings. From here, select Internet Connection Test. If all has gone swimmingly, your test will be successful and your NAT Type will read '2'. Hurrah! Your console is demilitarised and has nothing to fear from aerial bombings* or multiplayer connection troubles.
If it fails, something has gone horribly wrong. Maybe terrorists intercepted your traffic and changed an IP address whilst you weren't looking, or maybe you forgot something. Fear not - post in this thread with the results of your internet connection test and our lovely community will do their best to help you out.
    Enjoy!
    MusterBuster.
*I cant guarantee your PlayStation will survive an actual aerial bombing. Sorry bout that.

"De-Militarised Zone" sounds a bit scary lol. So "your router will not block any internet traffic to your console" but what does that actually mean? Could someone hack your PS3 or something? Are there any other benefits of putting your PS3 in DMZ?
We're yet to hear of anyone hacking a PS3, no one has ever done it from over the internet, and we're pretty confident that no one can.
Mind you, coming from me that will sound very biased! But perhaps our community members can reassure you that this is safe?
My PS3 is in a DMZ, if that'll reassure you
The benefits are that your side of gaming wont cause any connection problems. What it cannot do is protect you from dropouts/disconnects from users who are connecting from behind a ridiculously secure network.

    No

  • Trying to install PS4 on new MacBook Pro. I have already installed PS 3 extended.  When PS4 asked for my PS3  serial number will not accept # on back of my PS3 case?

I have PS3 and PS4 installed on Mac 27", but when I try to install PS4 on my new MacBook Pro will not accept Serial # on my PS3 Extended case.  Even though I have PS3 Extended installed!!  Tried Serial # with and without dash, but neither works.  Had both installed also on my MacBook Air OK but I wiped intend installed new OS.  Not clear why PS4 not accept PS3 Serial # despite the fact that PS3 Extended already installed with the correct Serial #.

Photoshop 3 and Photoshop 4 for the Mac were released in the 1990s before Mac OSX and will only run natively on the Classic Mac OS (OS 9.x or older). They may run under emulation in "Classic Mode" on a PPC Mac up until OSX 10.4. They will not run on any Mac with an Intel processor nor with OSX 10.5 or newer. Same with Photoshop 5 and Photoshop 6.
Photoshop 7 came with both Classic and OSX versions, but will only run on a PPC-based Mac, or an Intel Mac up to OSX 10.6.x with the Rosetta emulator
    Now, to clarify the naming of versions;
    Photoshop CS = "Photoshop 8.x"
    Photoshop CS2 = "Photoshop 9.x"
PS CS and CS2 came as OSX versions only and will only run on a PPC-based Mac, or an Intel Mac up to OSX 10.6.x with the Rosetta emulator
    Photoshop CS3 = "Photoshop 10.x"
    Photoshop CS4 = "Photoshop 11.x"
PS CS3 and CS3 came as OSX versions but run on either a PPC-based Mac up to OSX10.6.x with the Rosetta emulator or an Intel-based Mac, at least up to Mountain Lion OSX 10.8.x (the latest I have tried personally)
As for upgrades, you can go back about (3) revisions to use the old SN for an install; e.g. a PS 7 SN can be upgraded to PS CS3 (10.x) but not to PS CS4 (11.x). So, there is no way PS 3 could be upgraded directly to PS CS4 (11.x)

  • PS3 prints fine, PS4 prints too dark, same Mac

On my G4 Mac running 10.5.5 and an Epson 4000 printer, using the latest Epson driver, prints using Photoshop CS3 look great, but the same settings in Photoshop CS4 give very dark images.
I can run the two applications side by side comparing the "Color Settings ..." and the various options in the print dialog boxes. There appear to be very few new options. Having everything the same gives very different printed results. I've tried changing some of the new features like "Compensate for Scene-referred Profiles" and they make no difference.
On my calibrated screen, images look identical in PS3 and PS4. Only when printed is there a difference.
I've been using Adobe RGB 1998 color space for some time now with Photoshop doing the color management. The color adjustment switch in the print dialog box is off. I use the same printer profiles in both versions of PS.
    Any suggestions?
    Gordon

    Hi Gordon
Just a quick shot at a solution here as it's past my bed time in the UK and I need my beauty sleep - and no Photoshop ain't that good!
Anyway I've had the same issue as yourself but with a MacPro running 10.5.5 and CS4 to an Epson 7600 which is about the same generation of machine and driver as your 4000. Note that I also have a R2400 and a Xerox A3 Laser hooked up to the same Mac and I found the cure to my problem was to do the following:
    1. Quit Photoshop
    2. Go to System Preferences > Print & Fax
    3. Set the printer you are going to use as the Default Printer
    4. Close the System Preferences and open Photoshop
    5. Open your image and got to File > Print
At this point make sure that the printer has been selected automatically as the default printer in the top centre of the Print panel.
    6. Select 'Photoshop Manages Color'
    7. Choose the correct paper/printer profile
    8. Click 'Print' and set the drivers Color Management to 'No Color Adjustment'
I think this solution works by forcing the ColorSync system to choose the correct default profile for the selected print, something it seems to miss if the printer is not set as default before opening Photoshop. Hope it works for you as well, let me know if it doesn't as I may have a different solution for you.

  • OSX 10.8.2: cannot add a birthday to a contact with data on MS Exchange server

In "Contacts" (OSX 10.8.2) it is not possible to add a birthday to a contact when the data are stored on a MS Exchange server. This can be done from an iOS device (6.1.2). Why is this? The data field clearly exists in Exchange. A step backward?

For anyone viewing this thread, this issue is specific to "Contacts" in OSX 10.8.2 (now 10.8.3). One can still add a birthday to an Exchange database in "Address Book" in OSX 10.7.5 as suggested by Eric Root. It can also be done using an iOS device (iOS 6.1.3 in my case) and it will appear in "Contacts" in OSX 10.8.2 correctly as noted by Ralph Landry1. What I cannot understnad is why this functionality was taken away in OSX 10.8.2 when it existed in OSX 10.7.5. I have sent my comments to Apple as suggested by Ralph Landry1.
