Add on task bar icon wont stay displayed
I've installed the lastest Firefox - Firefox Setup Stub 27.0.1 on my PC running Windows 7. I've installed the add on for gmail notifications and using the customise option dragged the gmail icon into the status bar at the top right hand of the screen. But when I close and reopen Firefox the Gmail icon isnt there. No matter how many times I drag it to the same position it is alway gone when I reopen Firefox.
Also the 'Enable/Disable' button for all my add ons isnt working. If I click 'Disable' it doesnt disable and the button stays showing 'Disable'.
Thanks for your help and for the link

My cat walked on my keyboard and now my task bar will not stay up. F3 brings it up, but I would like it to stay up.
This whole deal reeks. I do not know where you got your product from, but that's not how Adobe Photoshop works.

Windows Task Bar Icon (Access 2013)
This is my first database I created from scratch in Access 2013, and I am not sure how to change my Windows Task Bar Icon use the Application Icon. Not a huge deal, but to keep consistency between my systems, it would be nice to resolve.
How does one get Access 2013 to use the Application Icon to show in the Windows Task Bar when the program is launched?Hi Mark,
>> it wasn't a big issue, it is just by assigning an Icon in Access 2010, the application magically had that same icon on the task bar showing open programs.<<
Based on my test, the icon in Windows Task Bar will not change after I assign an icon for Access 2010. I tested in Access 2010 on Windows 7, here is the screenshot for your reference:

Airport Icon wont stay turned on..

JozifI seem to be having the same problem. We were in Mexico on vacation, and on the second day I was taking some photos near the water with some highways and some water splashed on the camera, but it seems to still be working for the next few hours. When I stop taking pictures and came back to the camera a few hours after, I tried turning it on and the set date and time settings screen was displayed. After I entered the settings, I was able to resume taking pictures. However, when I turned the camera off, then on again, that same screen displayed it again.
The next day, I went to turn on the camera, and the lands would not extend fully and will turn off main extension. When I held down the power button, it would retract back but not all the way. If I hit the playback button, I was only then able to fully close the lens. I'm thinking now in hindsight, I should have not tried to turn it on, and just put it in a bag of rice right away, but it's probably too late for that now, and since I'm thinking the water that got on it was salt water from the ocean, it might have corroded some terminals or some electronics inside, I'm not sure. But I don't think I want to pay $200 for Canon to just look at it, and then come back to me saying they can't fix the camera. The warranty has just run out, and I think I might be better off just buying a new camera. -
Disappearing Dock & Task Bar Icons
I just installed OSX 6.8 on my MacBook Pro. Now some of the items in the dock no longer appear with their icons. The dock has a few blank spaces in it, but if you mouse over the blank space the identifying text appears. Same thing is true for the Task Bar that you get when you hit Command-Tab. Any ideas?
Are those items Apple applications or 3rd party apps you installed and perhaps moved to a custom location?
Do the dock icons still work or not? -
Task bar icon for new mail envelpoe
Hello i am having a heck of a time seeing the new mail notification in the task bar(new yellow envelope) how can the envelope be changed back like it was or a different color ?
thanks
DonUnfortunately, that cannot be changed. Are you using the icon in the notification area or large buttons on the taskbar, where the envelope is added to the outlook icon? (It might be easier to see on the blue Outlook icon on the taskbar.)

White battery and WiFi task bar icons
I have a new W520-4276 with Win7 Pro 64-bit SP1, BIOS 1.06. After I removed Norton Internet Security, the little battery and WiFi icons in the Task Bar system tray are white. Hovering the mouse cursor over them shows proper data, e.g, 100% charge. The larger Lenovo battery icon to their left is green, so it behaves normally.
I think this happened after I removed Norton Internet Security. Has anyone seen this? Any comments or suggestions?
It's a small thing but the icons should actively reflect the underlying data, not be white. The OP references a larger green Lenovo icon to the left, so I am assuming he is referring to the Windows icons.
In Windows 7, these icons are white unless there is a problem. Boring, but true. They are "animated", though, in that the wireless icon will show signal strength (bars) and the power icon will show a different icon for battery versus AC.
I don't know of a way to change the colors. Never wondered until now.

Change Status Hover Over Task bar Icon
So I have Lync 2013 Back end with Lync 2013 clients (patched up till January 2015). On some clients, you can hover over the Lync icon in the task bar (not the system tray by the clock) to reveal buttons to change your presence, however on others the buttons
aren't there. For the life of me i can't figure out how to get them there for the machines that they dont appear for.Hi,
Please double check if the issued Lync clients are Lync Basic version.
I test both Lync full version from Office 2013 and Lync 2013 Basic version, only Lync full version have this function.

Hi, been using Firefox for some years, had to replace hard drive recently and re loaded Firefox. Since then, the restore previous session button doesn't work, but I can do it from the History tab. Also Firefox itself won't start from the task bar or desktop, only the start menu.
Using Windows XPThis function may not be available for mobile yet. You can put your suggestions to the [[Suggestion Box]]. Thanks!

After upgrading to Mavericks, I can't see any of the usual menu bar icons (date/time, battery, wifi, etc.).
When I check them in System Preferences, it momentarily checks and then unchecks.
Any suggestions? Tried restarting already.Go to your Finder "Go" menu hold the option key to choose "Library". Then go to Preferences/com.apple.systemuiserver.plist and delete that file. Log out and back in or restart.

How to add the task bar containing some icons in to CM01 program
hi there Gurus,
i checked the program CM01, and found that all are include programs.
now i would like to add some icons insides, such as sort, sum up etc.
how could i do that? please some one guide me.
thankshi there...
u can do this... the way out is the use of customer exits.... search for a 'screen exit' in CM01 program, and simply put ur code in it....
you can locate a proper customer exit in se81 transaction.
For ur info, customer exits are hooks provided by SAP in their standard programs for the programmers to put in there own code as per the client requirements. they dont affect the standard code but simply addon another functionality.
they are just like inheritance in oops.
do reward if helpful or get back for further info. -
I am missing the icon on my taskbar in mail for sending attachments, and it is not in the customize taskbar part of my mail program. Where did it go, or how do I restore it since it is missing??
Thx,
Yellowchevy66"The top of the screen" is called the menu bar. It changes, and is based on whichever application is currently selected.
In Mail.app, the attach icon is the paperclip icon that shows in the default icon set of the so-called compse window; when you have requested the creation of a new mail message, or the creation of a reply. In the compose window with the default icons, the attach button is the middle of the five leftmost buttons in the tool bar.
It's quite possible to hide the toolbar entirely (that's controlled from the same pop-up menu as the Customize Toolbar... or can be controlled from the View > Show Toolbar or View > Hide Toolbar within the Mail.app menubar.
To capture an image of the toolbar state (if it's not that the toolbar is hidden, or has been customized), then open Mail.app, create a new (empty) message, and to capture (just) the application display window, press the Command(⌘)-Shift-4 keys as a chord, the cursor will change to a reticule (a cross-hair), place the reticule over the mail application compose window, press the space bar (to highlight the window) and click. This will save a screen shot of just the specified application window into a Screen Shot file (the rest of the name will be the date and time of the screen shot) on your desktop.
Inferring from your references and the terms you are using here, it would appear you might be unfamiliar with OS X and -- if that's the case -- then there's the available Apple Mac 101 introduction that might help clarify the environment. -
Desktop "Hard disk" Icon wont stay were I put it.....
Ok this is REALLY annoying me. I have tried to move my desktop "disk" icon (the link to your personal hard disk) to a different position on my screen, I want it at the bottom near the right hand side, every time I move it stays where I want it untill I log out or restart, upon loging in it has moved back to its default position in the top right of the screen.
I have tried many things:
Trashing various .plst files
Various combinations of "snap to grid" and "arrange Icons by". But to have the icon where I want i have to have both arrange by and snap to grid UNCHECKED.
I know if you put an icon to close to the side of the screen then it will be moved automaticaly so I have also tried placing the icon dead centre on the screen and then restarting, the icon still moves back to its default position.
This is extremely annoying and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Alot!No Ideas anyone? This is such an annoying problem!
