So I sent a test message - and I got it in my gmail - but my MAIL program is still saying 'sending' and the progress bar jumps from 30+kb sent back to 27kb+ and like I said it seems 'STUCK"

As for your Wife being on her Moms Line if there is a Smartphone that can cover the Line if her mom wishes to keep that line). The Store or Customer Service can Simply Do a ESN swap out or the Line can be dropped to a Non Smartphone Line.. But if her mother wants the line dropped Completely and there is Time left on the Line them she'll have to do a ETF to get out of the Line And for an iPhone 5 the ETF is i think $375.00

Delete the FB app. It ***** anyway. LOL
Seriously, obviously the FB app is causing havoc on your phone. Delete it.
Then back up your phone to iTunes.
Make sure the FB app is not checked in iTunes so it won't go back on your device.
Restore (as a NEW PHONE) This puts on new firmware and not your corrupted data.
Plug back in to get your data back (except FB)
Re-download FB app from App Store->Updates->Purchases

My phone is working fine. My wife's did last week but not now. I've turned phone off and rebooted. Also, when I try to "sign in using apple id " it tells me it could not sign in. Check network connection and try again. However the phone is connecting to my wifi network. Suggestions?

It sounds as though it doesn't think that you are typing in the correct answers.
If it's not accepting them and you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

I have a problem with connecting my iPhone to iTunes. I uninstalled one of the computer program and restart my laptop. After restart my laptop and a message said that iTunes might not working because one of the component is missing and request to reinstall the iTunes. Hence I remove iTunes from my laptop and I reinstall iTunes to my laptop but still not working.
Before this the iTunes will automatically launch when I plug in my iPhone. But after I reinstall iTunes, it's not working. When I try to plug in my iPhone after iTunes launched and message "This iPhone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install the 64-bit version of iTunes." popped out. I did this twice but it's not working as well.
Please advise what should I do to fix this.First make sue you are installing the 64 bit version of iTunes.
Second make sure it is iTunes 10.7 or later.
I would download a fresh copy of the 64 bit version of iTunes 11. After installation reboot your computer.
Before connecting your phone reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -
My Iphone 5s shows "No Service" in the specific network area, but if the same sim card is used with other mobiles in the same network area, it shows good network.. i did restore,change sim card, reset all the settings but still not working... please help me..

You give very few details. If I stated that .......
"I started my Nissan today and it started fine - but my Chevrolet will not start today - but it started yesterday. Help!" - you would probably have no idea where to begin with doling out advice or troubleshooting steps. What troubleshooting did you do? Obviously not all of it - if you did not uninstall and reinstall iTunes.
Quit iTunes, reboot your PC and then try again.
If that does not work, you could post back with the OS that your actually running on your computer - I am assuming that you are a Windows user and I could be wrong, but without some help from you .... Well we are just beating our heads against the wall. -
I have been getting error messages .n MS windows the APS Daemon ,exe is unable to locate a component and the itunes updates and program failed to start because MSVCR80,dll was not found. As advised I have uninstalled all Apple Inc. programs except the Apple Mobile Device program. Then I reinstalled itunes but still get the errors and can't run itunes. Advice....

What you are saying does not make sense. You redeem a card once, that's it. It doesn't matter what device you are using, as long as it's using the same account, you will get the reminder of your store credits.

My Ipod Touch iOs5 will not update apps, I did reset and still not work
My Ipod Touch will not update apps. The apps that need updates are frozen. I select update it says installing or waiting. The app is shaded and not able to use until I can update. I did reset but still not updating. What else can I do?
Thanks. I updated my ipod touch but more importantly I had to specifically request to sync my apps. Once I synced my apps from my ibook, TED and other apps are highlighted back to normal. I will use fewer apps less updates to deal with. Computers are quite a pain with all the constant updates to install.

Sorry the answer to my previous question did not help....when trying to get new app installed on iPad message tells me I do not have acc or its been disabled. Is this because of joint usage of email as my partner has account with iTunes using same email?
Whatever the reasons are that you think the problem exists, you will not be able to resolve it on your own. Did you see this at the bottom of the support article that I suggested that you read?

With the updates came iTunes 11.1.1 and Quicktime 7.6.6. I am still using Garageband 2008 and iPhoto 2008. When I create music in Garageband I usually adjust the volume and save it. Even now when I share the Garageband created files with iTunes 11.1.1, the volime I previously set in Garageband is retained. However, when I use the music to create a slide show in iPhoto 2008 and export to Quicktime 7.6.6, the volume level I previously set is lost and seems to default to a low level. The problem seems to be either in the slide show export from iPhoto 2008 to Quicktime 7.6.6 or in Quicktime itself. Is there a work around, so that I can retain the volume level I had previously set in Garageband, a volume level that seems to transfer without problem to the new iTunes. But then iPhoto 2008 (slide show) possibly or Quicktime 7.6.6 do not cooperate. Before I did the upgrade to Snow Leopard, the new iTunes and Quicktime I had no problems with the set volume being retained in the old Quicktime. The reason I need control over the volume is that all these music files are uploaded to YouTube.

My wife's iTunes used ID will not work. Tried resetting the password, but email was not received. Tried using personal questions method, but would not accept the correct date of birth, so could not go any further. Has her iTunes ID been hacked? How can I fix this?

I linked through and submitted my info as a "topic not covered" in the iCloud section. After entering the serial number of my MBP it turns out I wasn't eligible for technical support (though I don't think this is hardware related support) and the final suggestion was to take my computer into an Apple store. I called my local Apple reseller and asked for assistance. The customer service rep was very nice but unable to help, so suggested I call Apple Support on 1300 321 456. I did so and, again, spoke to two very polite and helpful customer service people (I was transferred to security services). I didn't have to be on hold to speak to either rep for more than a few seconds! After trying a few different things, he worked out what was happening...
So, to cut a long story short, to solve the problem in my OP, all I had to do was log out of iCloud in my System Preferences and log back in using my current Apple ID. [Edited to add that I had to sign out of everything I was currently signed in to with my Apple ID before logging out and in again.]

How to wire VI for 2 encoders using NI9401
