A couple of generic answers on add-ons
- of course you can have several add-ons working on the same B1. To understand
the details on how add-ons are started and maintained by B1 desktop pls refer
to the e-learning available here on SDN
- compatibility of add-ons. There is no generic answer to this, it depends on the
functionality and implementation of the two add-ons. Anyway, if two add-ons are
functionally independent and they follow the solution guidelines, then they should
be interoperable. You can find the solution certification guidelines here on SDN
under the ICC section: these rules cover points like namespaces, event handling,
user table and form creation and so on that enforce interoperability.

Where can I find 3D materials add-ons for Photoshop CC 2014? When I pull down the 3D menu to Get More Content, it takes me here: Downloadable 3D content | Photoshop.com. When I download and install the "Versatile materials", Adobe Extension Manger tells me I am installing "Material sets for Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended", which turns out to be the same exact set that I originally had in PS CC 2014. I also search here: https://creative.adobe.com/addons to no avail.

I have used the FM "ISU_DB_EANL_UPDATE" in my project.
CONSTANTS lc_modify TYPE c VALUE 'U'.
CALL FUNCTION 'ISU_DB_EANL_UPDATE'

where eanl is the entry in EANL table.
OLD_EANLH contains the old entry line item of the Rate Category table and NEW_EANLH contains the new line item to be added. This is the crude way of doing this. But I didnt find any other FM useful.
But this works.

Translation add-ons for safari

I'm looking for an add-ons for Safari to traslate by selecting and right-clicking over word or phrase. I used Firefox with add-ons gTranslate that use Google Translate service. Exist something for Safari too?

The only "add-on" for translation in Safari is Live Dictionary ($25). Otherwise, you can use some bookmarklets to copy/paste text into Babelfish and get the translation from French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese.

404 Downloading Adobe Add-Ons for Flex 4 Release

When I go to download the Adobe Add-Ons for the release version of Flex 4, I get sent to http://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/flex/sdk/builds/flex4/flex_sdk_4.0.0.141595_add-on.zip, which gives me a 404 error. Earlier versions seem to work fine.

I actually want to delete the two purchases because I tried deleting the UtiliTap Calendar (where I purchased the add-on holidays) and the holidays still showed up on my built in iPhone calendar.

Firefox shouldn't affect your Internet Explorer in any way. What exactly isn't working?

There are also add-on tool sets, mostly based on actions. Installation varies from easy to very, very confusing (unless you're at home in XML writing). Since you're using windows you might want to investigate Graffi's add-o-matic, which does installs for you.

Firefox 4.0 will not find update to 4.0.1, add-ons for 4.0.1 will not run

Downloaded 4.0 UK-edition on my laptop, the 4.0 US-edition on my desktop, and the 4.0 UK-edition on a 2nd laptop.
On mine, updates to 4.0.1 are not found, some add-ons were taken off, as incompatible, that ran on the 4.0 on my desktop (and weren't on the 2nd laptop). Add-ons, now already even compatible with 4.0.1 (running on the 2nd laptop) will not run as 'incompatible' with 4.0 (though listed on the add-ons site as compatible.
It has stopped telling me that 'something' is pretending to be an update from Firefox (whatever that 'something' be?) since setting the browser to updating manually, but asking me first what to do. All currently installed add-ons have not asked me for some time (though on other computers), and also report as fully up-t0-date.
Ergo: Neither Firefox 4.0 nor any installed add-ons update correctly.
Didn't crash, though it 'likes' doing that after printing (always Badly! with dreadful printing options/previews), leaving two tabs (rather than the one before), both of which only can be shut from their context menus. Crash reports have been sent with same email address, but not been answered. This browser has all the qualities of a Beta-release and needs some serious overhauls (it's also not very new or much safer!).
Example for an add-on that won't install on 4.0, but will under 4.0.1: CookieMonster - which is desperately needed, given your browser still suffers from minimal, insufficient cookie management, incl. lists of domains that wish to set 'another' cookie when no cookies are as yet, allegedly, sitting on the computer.

I've since updated manually to 4.0.1, but haven't yet tried the full uninstall version, because I have to export plenty of settings first (and/or manually copy them). Also means I'd have to start from scratch with many customizations in No Script.
That said, I'll try the 'Safe Mode' option tonight, thank you :-)!
If I have to uninstall the whole shebang, I'd be more tempted to go back to 3.6.x until a few more of 4's teething problems (e.g. the messy print dialogues, particularly preview, which regularly doesn't even work) have been tackled.

I have downloaded the latest version of Firefox 3.6.13 from the mozilla website, (I definatly dont have firefox 4 beta). When I try to add any new search add-ons such as Bing, Youtube, IMDB I awlays get the same message "This search engine isnt supported by firefox and cant be installed".
I have uninstalled and re-installed firefox same problem persists, I even re-installed my OS as I needed to do it anyway and same problem.

I have found a fix for myself, but i still would like to know what caused the problem.
If i get the error message, all i have to do is go to the address bar and type in random letters, then when i click install, they install and no more error message.
