Add page from creation to existing creation

In PE5 I had a creation at one time but lost it -- please don't ask how. I have some pages from the creation that I would like to put into a new creation. It seems easy to add a new page to a creation but to import a creation page to new creation -- can't find it anywhere. thank you!

I think you need to be a little clearer. I'm not certain what you mean when you say creation pages.
Do you mean layer, when you say page? If so, open both pictures, turn off the layers you don't want and just drag the active layer onto the other canvas, or you can copy and paste it.

How does one move pages from one ID doc to another? Both are the same size, but may or may not have differing masters.

Actually, master pages WILL travel withthe document pages, but only if the have a different name from any master page in the receiving document.
This logic applies to swatches and styles, too. If both documents have elements with the same name, but differnt definitions, the definitions in the receiving document will be used. This can have some unexpected effects on text, especially if you use "based on" styles.

How do I stop Pages from reformatting my existing documents?

If I open an existing document, created in Pages (pre-update version) it now reformats my documents with new fonts, inserts bullet point tables and generally takes a perfectly good document and makes a hash of it. Does anyone know how to go back to the old version of Pages or stop this version from ruining my documents & causing time wasting reformatting back to what I created? BTW this is on my iMac which is running the latest version of Maverick & the latest version of Pages. On my Macbook Pro whilst the system shows I did update Pages to version 5 it hasn't actually done that so I'm lucky I can still see my documents as I intended. Most of the documents involve recipes which have lists of ingredients & methods but DON'T NEED BULLETS!

In the Australian App Store it is within a whisker of "I hate it" reaching 70% of users.

Workaround for lack of way to add address from mail to existing contact

The original post below was deleted by Apple because it constituted "feedback" and was not a technical question. Of course it was a technical question. I was hoping someone would suggest a workaround or some way to actually get this to work . I am hoping Apple doesn't delete my post again (really....)
To be clear - Is there a workaround or am I missing something?
Why does Apple have to be so smart? Often, I want to add an email address from an email to an existing contact. If my computer recognizes the contact, I get "add to existing contact" in the right click dropdown. Frequently however, it doesn't recognize the contact and the only options I have are to add a new contact or copy the address and go to the contact and paste.
Why can't it have "add to existing contact" come up everytime like it does in windows? Then I will decide what contact to drop it in.
This is so frustrating. Just let the user have a little autonomy Apple!!!!!!!

Yea, hopefully they add this option from the dropdown menu, otherwise we have to keep creating "new contacts" for the same person. Quite frusterating considering that this option is available on the iphone version of mail.

Hello Juan,
you can copy and paste every section of a document into an other document if you are using Pages version 2.x. Just show the thumbnail view (menu: "View/Show Page Thumbnails") click onto the section (surrounded by the yellow frame) you want to have in the other document and copy it. Than make the other document the active one, show the thumbnail view and select the section where you want to paste the section into (I can't remember at the moment, if it will be pasted before or behind the selected section).
But be aware that styles with the same name will be overwritten with the existing styles, so make sure you have in every document different names before you do the copy-and-paste thing. Of course, different document sizes will cause problems, too.

OSM task web client buttons getting disabled on submitting orders from creation task

I am relatively new to OSM. I am facing a strange issue. After installing OSM 7.2 in my local machine I have deployed bb_ocm_demo cartridge which comes along with the design studio as a sample cartridge. After deploying the cartridge, I have assigned user to the work group from osm admin and placed an order. After entering data in the creation task, as soon as I am submitting the order by pressing the submit button, all the buttons(including the submit and delete button) are going to disabled mode(characterized by their blurred appearance). Those are preview, full preview, Process History, Change State/Status, Save, Add Remark, Exception.
The order is not getting submitted and is continuing to remain in the creation task only. From the worklist, it is visible that the order is still in the creation process in Not Started with the creation task in accepted state.
I would like to add a few more information. I checked the server logs and found the below error:

As a pre-requisite to OSM installation I have granted connect privileges to system with admin option, execute on SYS.dbms_lock to system with grant option, select on SYS.v_$parameter to system with grant option and select on SYS.dba_tablespaces to system with grant option.
I don't have any clue how this issue is coming up. Any sort of help will be highly appreciated.

Are you using the same user-id in both the OM client and the Task client?
Are all orders in question of the same order type?
In the Task client, did you select one row per order or one row per task?
I would be surprised if this had anything to do with it, but is this behaviour only exhibiting in the 2 node cluster or does it happen even when only 1 node is up and running?

Add JavaScript file to ALL existing Task List pages and to newly created list pages

We have several OOTB task lists that are in use on several subsites. We want to add JavaScript to the NewForm.aspx and EditForm.aspx for these task lists. These lists have not been customized, they are based on the standard Task Content Type.
Since there are several lists already created and in use, it would be far too much work to manually add a Content Editor web part to each page.
We put the JavaScript file in the top-level site style library.
Is there a way to programmatically attach a script reference to each existing page in all the subsites AND have the script reference placed on any NEW list pages created from the OOTB Task content type? Or, add a CEWP to all existing list pages using a feature?
I could not find any examples of this.

A solution would be like this: Add your script into a Content Editor Web Part in a page, then add this Content Editor Web Part into the NewForm page of these Task lists using
SharePoint Object Model.

This works just fine when triggered in a button and the viewstack changes, but when its programaticly triggered from creation complete it doesnt work. Once I get this working I want to check a condition. if this then>>trigger this event

For the moment there isn't a way for us end-users to control what is "matched" or "uploaded." That is purely a result of Apple's server-side algorithms.
To re-add multiple songs at once simply highlight all the songs you want to re-add, then right-click (or Control+click) the list and choose "add to iCloud."

Hi,
Before you start, you should probably take a backup copy of your design (the .dmd file and associated folder), in case the update does not work out as you had hoped.
You need to use Import > Data Dictionary again, to start the Data Dictionary Import Wizard.
In step 1 use a suitable database connection that can access the relevant table definitions.
In step 2 select the schema (or schemas) to import. The "Import to" field in the lower left part of the main panel allows you to select which existing Relational Model to import into (or to specify that a new Relational Model is to be created).
In step 3 select the tables to import. (Note that if there are an Foreign Key constraints between the new tables and any tables you had previously imported, you should also include the previous tables, otherwise the Foreign Key constraints will not be imported.)
After the import itself has completed, the "Compare Models" dialog is displayed. This shows the differences between the model being imported and the previous state of the model, and allows you to select which changes are to be applied.
Just selecting the Merge button should apply all the additions and changes in the new import.
Having updated your Relational Model, you can then update your Logical Model. To do this you repeat the "Engineer to Logical Model". This displays the "Engineer to Logical Model" dialog, which shows the changes which will be applied to the Logical Model, and allows you to select which changes are to be applied.
Just selecting the Engineer button should apply all the additions and changes.
I hope this helps you achieve what you want.

Can you please teach me how to block cash sales with credit limit blocking from creation of outbound delivery? Currently, outbound delivery can not be created only for charge sales with credit limit block. Problem is, we can not confirm the cash sales. We have to delete first the outbound then unblock the S.O. before creating a new Outbound.

Cash sale transaction will not have credit limit block, as the transaction is based on receipt of immediate payment. But if you still want to try the same, configure a 'Z' transaction Type for cash sale (Copy of Cash Sale - Sales Order Type) and maintain Credit check field as 'D' and try the scenario.
Ideally there should not be a Credir Check foe a Cash Sale Scenario.
