Add port rule nlb cluster

Hello,
I have a two-node NLB cluster (Wk28 R2),
The thing is that I want to add another port rule, and then I go to
"Host Properties" \ "Port rules" , and there I see the ones I have created so far, but the "add" button" is grey , not enabled.
I am logged in as the Domain administrator, and it was me who created the nlb cluster with the same user.
I am new to NLB, so I am probably missing something.

Could you reconfirm the following conditions of NLB manager required?
When you are using Network Load Balancing (NLB) Manager, you must be a member of the Administrators group on the host that you are configuring, or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority. If you are configuring a cluster or host by running
NLB Manager from a computer that is not part of the cluster, you do not have to be a member of the Administrators group on that computer.

Here is the server deployment in my AD domain:
Email flow and Outlook client connection go through the NLB cluster VIP email.domain.com.au which is served by the following server:
PRODHT-CAS01 (HT-CAS Server Windows NLB node 1)
PRODHT-CAS02 (HT-CAS Server Windows NLB node 2)
Public Folder access through Outlook client goes through the following servers:
PRODMBX01 (Stand-alone Mailbox Server 1) no DAG
PRODMBX02 (Stand-alone Mailbox Server 2) no DAG
Can I make the changes first on the first stack of Exchange Server set as below first:
PRODHT-CAS01 (HT-CAS Server NLB node 1)
PRODMBX01 (Stand-alone Mailbox Server 1) no DAG
in order to test the Outlook email & Public Folder connectivity in the first week and then followed by the rest of the server set:
PRODHT-CAS02 (HT-CAS Server NLB node 2)
PRODMBX02 (Stand-alone Mailbox Server 2) no DAG
would that cause the NLB or user email access problem?
Do I have to make the changes all in one day for those four servers followed by the reboot?
Reason of changing: The hardware load balancer (Riverbed) requires to have static RPC port to work properly.

All the servers behind the load balancer must be the same.
You can change the stand alone MBX server's RCA port as that traffic is not load balanced.
Changing Exchange is straight forward, just be careful to enter the registry keys correctly and then check AB and RCA is listening on the new static ports after you restart the services.

Many thanks for the suggestion. My goal here is to minimize any impact / email service downtime to the user while configuring the static ports.
1. Do I have to dissolve the Windows NLB cluster after the static port configuration on both HT-CAS servers or can I still keep the NLB cluster?
2. "All the servers behind the load balancer must be the same." Do you mean do I have to do the static RPC port the same day for all server set ?

Access NLB cluster from outside

I crated nlb cluster using 3 servers, one is used to create cluster and other 2 for hosts. I assigned 192.168.1.2 for cluster ip. Every server has two nic and one of nic connected to public ip. My worry is how can I access cluster from out side? As mentioned

this question I asked my server provider enable NAT and this is their reply. "We dont offer any NAT solutions but you can easy set up one of your servers to perform this."
can anyone tell me how can I do this?

Could you clarify your question, I am not quite understand your description “can I access cluster from out side”. You can use the “Internet” IP address as your NLB virtual
IP address. But if your cluster after NAT or firewall you must map the NLB port from the NAT or firewall device.

Mail crashes when I try to add a rule

I'm running 10.6.8. I have a somewhat large and complex mail folder. Everytime I try to add a rule mail gives me the spinning beach ball of death. I'm tried throwing away the rule plist. I've tried a clean install on a new disk with nothing on the disk added except firefox and flash. I've been on the phone with Applecare numerous times. Anyone have any ideas? Should I just give up?
Does anyone know if Mail has a size limit for mail or for how many layers folders can be nested?

can't make much of this crash log but try this. when you get to the smtp server page in setup assistant hold option while clicking "create" or 'continue". this will skip the actual server validation and might prevent crashing.

   In this VI，it can write the parameter in Cluster to the database (Access 2003).it run well.
   But When I add another parameter in Cluster,such as EE,I have to modify this Cluster. And at the same time,I have to modiy the database (I should add a column of EE).if this vi build to exe, how can I achieve it?Can LabVIEW have any way to increase new parameter EE in Cluster and in Database in executable program?

It's rather unclear what you try to do here. In your first post you talk IMHO about the high level Datatbase Toolkit functions that take a cluster and translate it automagically into the appropriate SQL Query/Update.
Your second question seems to be about the user interface of your application.
Proper application design would mean to separate the user interface aspect from the actual database query in some ways. I definitely wouldn't use the same cluster for both. Also if you simply hide a control on the frontpanel (possible also in an executable) it still is present logically and if you end up using the high level database toolkit functions with that cluster it will result into a query or update of the database with all the data in the cluster, also the hidden ones.

I HAVE A REQUIREMENT WORKING ON MM , I HAVE SOME BUSINESS RULES IN FUNCTIONAL DESIGN DOCUMENT AND I NEED TO WRITE THE TECH DESIGN . MY QUESTION IS HOW TO ADD BUSINESS RULES IN TECH SPEC. EXAMPLE I HAVE FINAL DUE DATE AS BUSINESS RULE i.e,
Final Due Date = Baseline Date + Maximum Day Term
If Clearing Date is = Final Due Date = Invoice is Paid-On Time
If Clearing Date is < Final Due Date = Invoice is Paid Early.
If Clearing Date is > Final Due Date = Invoice is Paid Late
I have the data available for Final Due date from R3 .
So after creating the Info Object( characteristic), where can I add this formula for that Z INFO OBJECT ? I have total of 5 business rules like this in my funtional doc

Hi Harish,
With the assumptions:
1. You are using a BI 2004s system
2. The fields Baseline Date, Clearing Date & Maximum Day Term are being sourced from R/3
The rules can be coded into the End Routine in the Transformation.
If you are using a BW 3.x system, this logic can be coded in the Start Routine at the Transfer Rules or the Start Routine at the Update Rules.

One thing to remember is that mail rules are only executed on incoming email. To run a rule against existing email, Mail > Message > Apply rule.

ADFS server in NLB cluster unable to reach all servers in the same subnet

I have 2 ADFS (3.0) virtual servers (server 2012 R2 on VMware) in an NLB cluster (setup for Office 365 initially) and want to be able to use the SAML to connect to a couple of Linux servers in the same network to allow SSO to the Linux boxes.
It was working then stopped and now the primary FS server (FS1) cannot ping either Linux box or one of our WS08R2 file and print servers. It can ping all other servers in the same network.
I tried to get a packet capture with MS NetMon 3.4 but it only picked up the successful ping requests.
Firewall is disabled but that made no difference.
NLB cluster configured in Unicast mode as I found Office 365 and another outside service didn't want to work using Multicast or IGMP Multicast.
The really bizarre thing is the secondary FS vm can ping the other boxes even with "ping server -S clusteraddress"
Any suggestions as to where to look to track this down will be most welcome.

Direct Rule - Add Collection Rule fails - SCCM Integration

I am trying to use Add Collection Rule and add a computer to a collection using Direct Rule. It fails with the following error:-

But I am using Collection Value Type as Name and Resource Definition Value Type as "Resource Names". If I use Resource ID instead and add the computer resource ID - it works. The FQDN does not work.

It does not matter what I name the rule. Only success is using the ResourceID, but then I will to write a powershell command to get the resource id.
The Rule Definition has to be in quotes, else it says it is invalid. I have tried all combos and this does not work.
Maybe someone else who has the IP can check.

I have some problems in order to configure mine under Solaris 10. But trying to change this, I found something that can help you.
In a terminal window, type "man route". I could add a new one, but, because I am not able to find how to change the IP gateway, it returns me an error.

You has to define the Effective date from at lines
DL.DistributionRuleLines.Item(0). Effectivefrom = 'ENTER DATE HERE
If you do not know the date, you can enter as early as you can (first date of first period - you can select from OFPR table)
