Add Proxy Username and Password and also SOCKS proxy to Dreamweaver CC 2014.1

I am currently behind a network corporate proxy that requires a username and password to login.
Dreamweaver since CS4 has never supported any proxy including SOCKS that require a login; this is backwards and is supported by most other IDEs.
The Dreamweaver user interface only has fields for entering the FTP server login information. An example of a proxy server that Dreamweaver does not support is SOCKS.

Please can you add the ability to have more complex proxy addins such as SOCKS. Filezilla has a range of proxy settings but due to the nature of it saving username and passwords in XML files and non-encrypted passwords we cannot use this.
I use the full Adobe CC and use a Mac on Yosemite

It's highly unlikely that CS4 will gain this feature since it is now 7 versions removed from the current one and no longer supported with updates. My advice is to find a secure, dedicated FTP app you can use.

Today I received a refurbished 2012 i5 Mac Mini that I purchased via Amazon. The Mac Mini came with a 256gb Samsung SSD only installed. The Mac Mini also has 10.10.2 Yosemite.
I am planing on ordering an "OWC Data Doubler Mounting Kit" to add another drive onto the Mac Mini.

I also plan on getting a second drive which would be a 1tb SSHD Black Western Digital (16GB SSD) 2.5 SATA III (6.0GB/s) 5400RPM drive.
Now here is where I am a very confused and concerned. What I essentially want to do is use Migration Assistant to completely migrate what I have on a 2012 i7 Macbook Pro's 750gb HDD to the Mac Mini's 1tb SSHD drive. I want every file and setting to be placed on my new Mac Mini just the way it is on the Macbook Pro. The Macbook Pro is however using 10.7.5 Lion while my new Mac Mini is using 10.10.2 Yosemite.
What makes me confused is, if I migrate everything from the Macbook Pro onto the 1tb SSHD, would I still be able to benefit by having the 256gb Samsung SSD in the Mac Mini? For instance, would the Mac Mini still be able to boot up super fast and use the SSD to write and read programs very fast? Or is it because I am migrating everything from my Macbook Pro's HDD onto the Mac Mini's 1tb SSHD, my Mac Mini will not be able to use the speed benefits of the SSD?
Another concern is, will I be able to use Yosemite or will I be stuck with 10.7.5 Lion? I would only like Yosemite. I do not mine if Lion is removed from my new Mac Mini.

I made more research on raid and now I am considering not to raid at all.
Raid0 seems extremely risky because I do not know how the SSD and SSHD would react together.
And Raid1 seems like it would not be able to function the way I would like to store my files. [The SSD is 256gb and SSHD is 1tb, there is no point in raid1]
I think I will just have to add the second drive and use it without raid. I will mostly save media files such as movies, pictures, and music. And for everything else, save it onto the SSD's storage.

After I updated to 5.o, every time I start Firefox it does the " Checking for compatibilty of add-ons " thing and also opens a " Welcome to Firefox 5.0 " tab in addition to my home page. Is there any way to stop this, it is really annoying.

Thee can also be a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the files extensions.* (extensions.sqlite, extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox [[Profiles|profile folder]] to reset the extensions registry. 
New files will be created when required.

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar (or click the "Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to do a compatibility check or see if there is an update.

How Do You Add an Autofill Username and Password

Is there a way to manually add a username and password to the Autofill function?
Most of the secure sites I navigate to have asked if I want to have Safari remember this information, and after that it appears. Autofill "user names and passwords" box is checked, and those sites appear on the list when I select "edit."
One or two sites, however, do not result in the do-you-want-to-save dialog. Anybody know why? I there a way to manually add it to the list? I can't find it if there is.

A website can specify whether a browser should autofill a form field or not. For reasons of security, some websites (typically banks) turn off autofilling on purpose.

ICloud Keychain: username and password form on separate pages

Hello,
I really like using iCloud Keychain. I am, however, unable to store a username and password for two web sites. Both sites use a separate page for username and password. It appears that Safari does not see the web form on each page. I have attempted to manually add the usernames and passwords to Keychain Access on my iMac, however, it had no effect. Note that I have also enabled the Safari options "Autofill usernames and passwords" and "Allow Autofill even for websites that request passwords not be saved."
Has anyone experienced Safari not showing a prompt to save usernames/passwords and found a solution?

II'd rather not disclose the financial institutions i do business with, but my bank and two mutual fund websites use separate pages for username and password. I chec around, and if you go to the Bank of America website, they do it as well. Keychain does not work on any of the three sites I use.

Username and Password Problems accessing site

Yesterday I created a blog using iWeb 09 and published it and went with the option that visitors needed to have the user name and password to access the site. Friends and family reported that these wern't accepted and I had the same problem when I tried. Publishing and accessing using mobile me by the way. Removing the password UN option removed the problem. I have installed the latest update to the iLife 09 suite. This problem occurred to those using both mac and windows. Is this a bug?

Make your site private and add a username and pw, then publish your site. You will get a popup when it is done publishing which gives you the option to announce your site. If you choose that option the user name and pw will be sent to those you choose. If you opt to have people visit your site, they will need the username and pw that you made youe site private with. Hope that helps.

I've made a URLConnection object to connect to the servlet, but the problem is that I don't know how to add the username and password details to this connection.

I have added the special fields in the transport request as table T021S hasnot got any entries in Quality or PRD system. Once the import is being made, I have followed the instructions in the above note and the problem got resolved.

HELP! don't know my username or password for email!!!!!

Please take pity on this blackberry noob.... I had help setting up this 8330 and no one can remember the username or password we used to log in to add a 3rd email account... we did two already when we did initial setup,now I want ot add a 3rd account, and we cant remember... HOW do I fix this??? I try to use the FORGOT password and entered everyuser name and even my PIN number, each time says PASSWORD SUCESSFULLY SENT TO BLACKBERRRY DEVICE...but no password, no message, unless I am missing it, HELP PLEASE!!! driving me insane...
i went ot try to create account but it says the PIN is already associated with an account.. will it scrw stuff up to make a new one and reenter the ESN and PIN# and create a new one? willthe old ones stillwork???

When you use the Forgot Password link it sends a message to your device telling you what the password is. If you're not getting that message then you can contact your carrier and they can tell you your username and also reset your password.

INDESIGN 5.5 wird gestartet mit der Nachricht:
"zum laden von assignement UI.InDesignPlugin ist username erforderlich. installieren sie das zusatzmodul username und starten sie indesign erneut."
Leider weiß ich nicht wo ich das finden soll? Im Netz findet sich auch nichts. Ich habe die Vermutung, dass viele Zusatzmodule fehlen. Auch bei kompletter Deinstallation und Adobe Cleaner entsteht nach der Neuinstallation das gleiche Problem. Was kann ich tun?
Bin der Verzwifelung nahe! Für jede Hilfe dankbar!

big problem:
INDESIGN 5.5 is starting with message:

i don´t know where to find this add-on. the internet offers nothing. i think, that a lot of add-ons are missing. if i deinstall the whole cs and also use the adobe cleaner tool and reinstall everything its the same conflict.
any help or hints?

@Peter Spier: I found a solution. There must have been default setting which created a conlict with the plugin-installation. it works just after deleting all adobe products (like acrobatx, flash...), all licences and setting files - in the end with adobe cleaner tool - and a reinstallation.

In some pages I keep receiving this message: "The proxy moz-proxy://172.20.5.250:8080 is requesting a username and password. The site says: "moz-proxy://172.20.5.250:8080"".

In my company, I used FF for sometime now.
I had some problem in the beginning, but using the proxy IP and Domain\Username + Password I was able to navigate.
Ever since I tried FF4.x and FF5.x... I started to receive the following message:
The proxy moz-proxy://172.20.5.250:8080 is requesting a username and password. The site says: "moz-proxy://172.20.5.250:8080"
Even after inserting the Domain\Username and the Password I keep receiving the same error. In FF3.xx I was able to use the proxy.

Even when I try to see the extensions I get this error. This is so weird!!!
For now... I have switched to Chrome, every new version of FF that is released I try it to see if the problem is gone. But, with no luck until now! :(

I did have this problem with proxy moz-proxy prompt for username and password. In my case it was for websites hosted not on the internet but on the local corporate intranet. I solved my problem by doing the following action:
Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Network -> Settings: add the local website to the "No Proxy For:" field.
I hope this will help some of you out there that have manually configured their proxy settings. Also a tip if you need to turn on and off proxy settings I recommend using "Quick Proxy" add-on.

If you use extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) like Adblock Plus or NoScript or Flash Block that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

You can use one of these to start Firefox in Safe mode:

You should be able to use the OpenVPN Connect app running on your iPad to connect your iPad to the VPN directly. It is an official OpenVPN client for iOS devices.
In what way is it "not compatible"? Have you tried it? Tunnelblick is an OpenVPN client, so your school's VPN is using the OpenVPN protocol. That means any OpenVPN client should be able to access it. JDev WS proxy not sending username and password

Hi all, I've created a short web service which requires username authentication and testing it on the browser, the web service works fine.
I then tried to create a web proxy (which is the new term for Web Service Stub in JDeveloper Studio Edition 10.1.3.0.4 right?) which calls this web service with username authentication.
In the stub code, I added the following lines:

Hi,
I can get username/pwd working in 2 ways.
First option
1. On the service, do not generate any of the security settings (ie do not use the Secure Web Service option)
2. Deploy to OC4J
3. Go in to security at application level and add your user
4. Generate proxy (yes, the new name!)
5. add the myPort.setUsername and setPassword code to your PortClient main method
6. run proxy
Second Option
1. On the service, use the Secure Web Service wizard - check the Authenticate using Text Password but uncheck Integrity and Confidentiality Options (signing and encryption)
2. Deploy to OC4J and add user as above
3. Generate proxy
4. Secure Proxy - check Use Username to Authenticate
5. Uncheck Inbound and Outbound Integrity and Encrypt/Decrypt
6. Add setUsername and setPassword as above
7. Run
With both of these I was able to call services. If you still have any problems, let me know and we'll try again
