Add ringtones to 5 c

I have updated to a 5c from a galaxy s 2. So, I am new to the iOS.
I want to personalize my ringtones and have the ones I have had before. I can not find the specific ringtones I am looking for in the app store.
How can I get my old rintones on this phone?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Unless the ringtone is a .mp3 or .m4a format, you cannot use it.
Here's a DIY tip using computer iTunes and it's free.
1. Select a title (.mp3 or .m4a) in your iTunes Music Library
2. Do File > Get Info on selected title (Windows do Edit > Get Info)
3. In the dialog choose Options tab
4. Set Start Time and End Time (no more than 35 secs otherwise won't work)
5. Close dialog.
6. Now control click the title (right click) and choose Create AAC Version
Note: If you don't have Create AAC version, switch in menu File > Preferences...(Windows do Edit > Preferences...) > General > Import Settings... > Import Using: AAC Encoder.
7. When it is done, drag the newly create title to the desktop.
8. Delete the newly create title in iTunes. <-- This step is important
9. Rename the title on your desktop from ringtone.m4a to ringtone.m4r
10. Drag and drop it into iTunes
Now you have a ringtone.
Make sure it is selected in iTunes > Tones for syncing with your new iPhone.

No longer able to add ringtones to itunes 10.6 and up

I am no longer able to add ringtones into tones. I make the ringtones via itunes but it won't let me add it to the "tones" tab. The file is proper .m4r extension but when I try to add it, it gives me the circle with the line across the middle that doesn't let me add it to the tones tab. Is anyone else having this trouble? and if so how can I fix it?

Add Ringtones & Notifications to SD Card????

So i want to add ringtones and notifaction tones to my new SD card but there aren't folders already created for them on there after I put it into my DINC and formatted it. So I loaded the files right onto the SDcard without being in a folder -- but the DINC doesn't "see" them for ringtone use OR notification use...
Help???
Do I need to make a "ringtones" and "notifications" folder and will that solve the problem????

using an app would be the easiest way. i have a folder called "media" on my sd card. inside of it is a folder called audio. inside of that are 3 more folders called notifications, ringtones, mms. now i'm not sure if they were created when i formatted the sd card or if one of the apps i use created them??? i use zedge and ringdroid (love them both).

I can't add ringtones into itunes 12

hi, i just bought a new computer got my itunes 12 downloaded, than took me 2 days to download all my music, apps, movies, ect from itunes store back to my computer. than i had made some ringtones as .m4r files, but i can't drag them into itunes!!!!!! after i draged them into itunes, it appeared in the music lib, but not the ringtone lib, and i can't add them anyway doesn't matter if i change the file into .m4r or .m4a or .mp3, they all appeared in the music lib, and even if i sync my iphone with it, it will appear in my music but i can't see any of them in the settings=>sound=>ringtone.
even i deleted all the ringtone in itunes which was only one that was brounght on my phone (didn't know how it get there, i got other ringtones i purchased in my iphone, but they didn't got into itunes)
so here are two main questions:
1: how to add customised ringtone into itunes 12
2: how to add ringtones purchased from iphone into itunes 12

but now the problem solved. i did the following:
1: change my itunes language settings back to english ( it was chinese b4)
2: close itunes than re open it
3: i downloaded a ringtone app on my iphone to allow me to customise the songs into ringtones on my iphone
4: sync my iphone
5: find the ringtones under my iphone's app in itunes sync
6: copy the tones in my computer
7:drag them back to my itunes ringtone lib,
all done~~~~ it took a few step, but at least it worked.

This is getting really frustrating....I cannot add ringtones to my iphone 3g....
I have read the threads where it says to go and enable ringtones feature on itunes....I HAVE NONE....

If you're saying that your text tone is in your iTunes library and you've selected to sync it to your phone but it won't transfer you might try this: Click on the text tone in iTunes, right-click and select Get Info, go to the Info tab and change the Artist name (just something small like adding an extra character to the end of the artist name). Click OK at the bottom, connect your phone and see if it syncs. Sometimes this will transfer a stubborn ringtone or text tone.

To analyze anything in LabVIEW you have to be able to access the signal through some sort of DAQ board. Once you have the signal going to a board then you have to have the right driver (packaged code) to be able for LabVIEW to communicate with that device. There are a lot of supported drivers at ni.com/idnet or you can create your own. Check out this site for how LabVIEW interacts with Audio. This other site has information on using your local sound card with your microphone or speaker input/output to interact with LabVIEW. Hopefully this will get you started in the right direction. Ringtone was downloaded from phone. itunes displays, I dropped onto desktop, unable to add to library. Ringtones folder not in library or in preferences.

I don't know if this helps but my iTunes was crashing everytime I tried to add a file located in the "My videos" folder. I moved the files to "My Music" Folder and had no problems. Seems like a simple/stupid solution but it worked for me. I still don't know why it wasn't allowing me to do it in the first place.

I manually manage music on my iPhone, but I cannot add new ringtones. When I add a tone to my iTunes library, it appears under "Tones" and I can play it. However, when I drag it onto my iPhone, it is grayed out and the syncing symbol appears next to it, and I cannot assign it in my Sounds settings on the iPhone. I know that syncing tones will solve the problem, but I don't want to erase all the music on my phone.

Is there a way to restore the exact music I have on my iPhone? Thanks...

About your only option is to create a new iTunes library, use 3rd party software to extract your music, playlists, etc. to the new library, then either auto-sync the iPhone to the new library or put the iPhone in manual management so that you can pick and choose what you want on the iPhone from the new library. Either way will erase your iPhone, so it would be crucial to extract the iPhone contents first using alternate software.

ITunes wont add ringtones???

Ok so to start off i made this ringtone off iTunes the normal way other people have done it and eveytime i add it to the TONES tab it wont add there ?? is there anything im doing wrong.

Make a valid .m4r file (aac format, less than 30 seconds long) and drop it into the Automatically Add to iTunes folder.

I am not sure if you should create another folder to house all your servlets when using Java Web Server 2.0.
The servlet invoker of Java Web Server 2.0 looks at the <server_root directory>/servlets/ directory as the root servlet directory by default and any servlets that is housed under this directory is monitored by the custom class loader provided by Java Web Server 2.0.
This custom class loader will automatically reload any serlvet class files that are modified i.e. a newer version of the servlet that is newly compiled e.g. change in functionality. What this means is that you don't have restart the web server to reload any new version of the existing servlets on the web server.

How do I download ringtones that were downloaded from Itunes to my iphone 5.

You don't, as ringtones are a one time purchase and as such can't be redownloaded.
If you still have them on your iTunes library, you may sinc them from there.
If you have a backup that contains them, you may restore your phone from that backup.
Or you can go to expresslane.apple.com and try for a re-issue. Which they do only occasionally and depending on the circumstances.

Cannot add ringtone - weird problem

So I'm running Mac OS Snow leopard, and iTunes 10.5 with an iPhone 4Gs. In iTunes' preferences I have sources / Ringtones checkbox checked.
I have an .m4r ringtone that I created. When I drag this file into the iTunes library, the library gets the "grayed" as if is Ok to drop it, but when I drop it nothing happens, my ringtones folder remains empty and nothing is added.
What is really strange is that, I was trying to show a friend the problem, he has iTunes 10.5 but on a PC, and I use the exact same ringtone file and procedure, but it worked flawlessly on his machine. I also tried it with my windows computer at work, and again no issues whatsoever.
This is driving me a little crazy, anyone out there with any ideas what I could do ? (that doesn't involve switching to windows)

I did find a solution that worked for me: use GarageBand. I know is weird because the ringtone works on other machines as I said (Mac and PC), but this worked for me....
Try this:
First, if you already have your ringtones as .m4r files, rename them to have .mp4 extensions
Open garageband
on the intro screen, select iPhone ringtone from the left, and double click on Voice on the right side
put a name on it, click create
drag and drop the .mp4 to either of the voice tracks (it won't let you drag and drop .m4r files, you need to rename to mp4 first as I said above)
From the top menu go Share / Send ringtone to iTunes
