Add style to large block of text without affecting existing styles within that text

Hello! First post here.
I have a long document of text that mostly does not have text styles attached (this was a mistake). However, there is a large number of areas of styled text within.
Is there a way to select all the text and apply a style to only the unstyled text without affecting the existing styles?
Doing this by hand text block by text block would take a long long time.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Even simpler than that.
Clicking once in a text box selects it.
Clicking once in a selected text box places the insertion point in the box.
The clicks do not need to be close enough in time to be read as a double click.
The same behaviour applies to table cells in Pages and in Numbers.

For future reference, since I came here for the same reason, I'd like to add to the solution. The link was not complete in explaining how to, but then again I'll just trying to attempt to fill in the gap.
After opening iTunes, on the upper left hand side is a small icon with an arrow pointing down. Click on the arrow and a menu pops out. Click on "Show Menu Bar." On the new bar(Older iTunes File, Edit, View, Controls, etc. bar at the top). Click on View and then Show Side Bar. There you can just click and drag new songs into your iDevice without any problems... hopefully...
Seriously, this helped me, so if Apple finds a way to not allow me to do this simple task of adding purchased songs into my idevices from another computer, I'll have to resort to other means.
The one idevice that's having trouble with is my iShuffle(2nd).

I have quite a bit of experience with photoshop and illustrator, but am only beginning to dig into the 3D capabilities. I'm using Photoshop CC 2014.1.
I'm working on a product for a client, and would like to add text to the foreground of the image below. The text will be extruded and slightly reflective. The problem is: I can't find a way to get that text into the same scene with the cubes. I seem to have to create a separate scene...and then none of the cubes interact with my text. It's probably a simple fix, but I can't figure it out.

Addind text in a new line within a text box

Hi everyone,
I have a classic text box component that i am using inside
director. I want to show some text inside this text box in such a
way that it should come in. For example I am adding "Item 1" ,
"item 2", " item 3" then every item should be placed in new line.
I tried using new line symbol ( \ ) it but it didn't worked.

2" & "Item 3" ---------> this gave me error
Please suggest how to do this thing.

I deleted text messages over the last six months, and I want to get them back. I didn't have my I-Phone 4S backed up. Can I still retrieve those texts?? I read somewhere that texts are never really deleted for good.

I have a I-Phone 4S and I deleted text messages over the last 6 months. I didn't have my phone backed up with I-Tunes or anything. Is there a way to retrieve all of those deleted text messages?? I read somewhere a while back, that texts are never really deleted permanently. Can't find information on that. Can anyone help please?

Where would you expect to retrieve those deleted message if you didn't backup your phone?

I have a script that inserts a new page (a cover sheet) at the beginning of a document (a chapter from a book) and makes a few other tweaks. It works perfectly _except_ for the following glitches:
(1) The pages shuffle (I would like the cover sheet to be a recto page and the first page of the document to be a recto page as well; the rest are facing pages ).
(2) The pages renumber (I would like to the cover sheet to be an invisible page number roman numeral "i" and the first page of the document to be page 1.1.
(3) If I just renumber the pages manually, I also have to retype all the section names that have been inserted previously into the section marker field (I have about 160 documents to work on, so....)
Is there any way to have the script avoid these problems? Please note that I inherited this script and know virtually nothing about scripting. Any help you can give—including any thoughts on whether coming up with such a script would even be possible—will be greatly appreciated!! Here is the script (and thanks in advance!):

Acrobat 8: Adding text to a pdf and finding that text with ocr

I have some documents in German. They have been OCR'd with German. I also translate a few words into English and place those words on the Document page using the Typewriter Tool to get those words onto the Document page. In my current document, the words have disappeared.
Using Note software (Evernote), the words added by Typewriter Tool are not found by indexing in the Note software.
I would like to know:
1. Is the Typewriter Tool the best tool for the purpose of adding words?
2. How do I keep the words on top of the image?
3. Is there a way to get those words found by OCR?

HT5622 I have two iPhones using the same Apple ID. I want to change the ID on one of the phones without changing the other. Can it be done without affecting the other devices that use the ID.

Sure.
For the iTunes/App store...Settings>iTunes/App Store...tap the ID shown, sign out...now, sign back in with the ID you want to use. Be aware, any apps obtained with the old ID can only be updated using that ID, as all apps are forever tied to the ID used to obtain them.
Fir iCloud: Settings>iCloud...turn everything off, including Find My Phone. For Contacts/Calendars, you'll be prompted to keep the data on the phone or delete it...your choice. Then, scroll down, Delete Account. Now, set everything back up using the new ID.
This won't affect any data stored at iCloud.com, or any other devices.

Can't stop oracle replication without affecting existing table...

Hi All,
I am facing some problem with oracle replication set up. I have a replication set up already running fine. There is a table called Emp_temp in the replication group which is in ASYNCHRONOUS mode(replicating data for every 15 min). My application is writing data into this table which is in primary server (there are only two servers in the set up i.e. primary and secondary).
I want to stop the replication but my application should keep on writing to Emp_temp table even after replication stopped. But when I stopped the replication (through oemapp GUI) my application is throwing errors stating that it could not commit to that table. Can anyone tell me how to gracefully stop the replication? Is there any way even after stopping the replication application can continue writing to the Emp_temp table?
My application talks to the Oracle using OCI.
Error in my application log is: "Error ORA-23326: object group "PUBLIC"."ASYNCH" is quiesced"
Oracle Version using: Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
OS: Solaris 10

Yes, breaking the PUSH job would be the only solution. In multimaster replication the changes are applied on the remote site through the PUSH job hence you should mark this job as BROKEN to stop the replication.
If you QUIESCE (or SUSPEND) the replication group via OEM, then it would not allow any DML changes to the tables in the replication group. Hence you should break the PUSH job instead of SUSPENDing the Replication Group.
Again, you should re-enable the PUSH job at the earliest else the base queues for replication would grow very fast in a high OLTP system. Once these queues have grown considerably then that could raise performance problems with the PUSH job.

The Content sync feature won't allow me to style specific text within a text block.

I am trying to change the color of a few words within a paragraph but after I add a content tag to it, it will not let me. It will just change the color of all text within the block. Is this a bug?

The issue I am having is that I can't do any text styling to specific words within my text box like I can without a content tag.
Let me explain. I have a few words within a text block that I want to emphasize with a color. It will not allow me to highlight the word and change its color if it has a content tag - it will change all of the text within the block that color. I have no problem doing it without the tag. Why is that?

If I make the Client Regional Settings to Arabic it works in Client/Server but need to press ALT+SHIFT KEY in Web Environment.
I believe there should be an alternative, being Web Application, Client Regional Settings can be any Language. (English,French,Arabic et...)

My issues using an Example,
I've a power pivot with 3 related tables, (two dimension tables and one measure table), then I created a pivot chart using
that 3 tables as source...
The pivot chart is a little complex... it takes some time to rebuild from the scratch... I have added 3 measures to the chart,
M1, M2, M3... but due to a business changes I need to refresh the measures M1, M2, M3 with information from a different source...
i.e. I need to drop the 3 measures from the Power Pivot, then I need to add them again with the same names, but when I drop
them from the power pivot table the pivot Chart Fields Values disappear and the chart obviously is refreshed without the 3 measures... :S
Question: How can I drop a column from a power pivot table, then add it again with the same name without affect the Pivot
Chart Fields... i.e. only when I do the refresh manually the charts are affected... but once the name of the columns are the same.. the charts don't change the layout....

Adding New Image and Text to an Existing Page Created with Tables

Working in DW 5.5
I'm trying to add a new image/link and small amount of text to an existing web page that was created with tables and centered. I am using AP Divs. One for the image and one for the text. Everything functions fine, but I can't get the new items to anchor and re-center with the rest of the page. I am not able to overide the "Absolute Positioning". I've tried different solutions from various tutorials but I can't seem to make them work with tables.
The added items are a Facebook button and text.
