I am not sure if you are talking about the "intro screen" of a slideshow, when you write "title screen".
For Intro and Ending Screen I use Identity plates, Custom, in simple text style, with two different texts entered.

How do I stop an unwanted pop-up, "Click on Sign to add text and place signature on a PDF File"?

Whenever I open a PDF using Adobe Reader X, a pop-up appears at the upper right-hand corner of the document display window that says "Click on Sign to add text and place signature on a PDf file".
Is there some way that I can stop this pop-up from appearing everytime I open a PDF?

Click on "Sign" so that the Sign pane opens and leave it open for a few seconds. It wont re-appear if you re-launch Reader now.

How to add text and objects (arrows) over a PDF document?

I am only familiar with Adobe Reader. Looking for the least expensive Adobe product that would allow me to add text and arrows over an existing PDF document. Not looking to edit (change) document other than add a "layer" over the original. Basic stuff I'm sure. Thanks for your help.

Purchased Acrobat XI Pro - was able to edit text and add text and now does not allow me to do anything -

How to add text to photos[non slides]

I can't find any way to add text to a slide except with slideshow or book page. Surely Aperture couldn't forget this. Anybody??

Aperture didn't forget that -- it's outside its remit.
Aperture provides powerful tools for two tasks:
Digital photograph conversion and development (esp. RAW), and
Digital asset management (a/k/a DAM).
You might be able to do what you want with the free but full-featured Aperture plug-in Border FX.
For true compositing (combining graphics elements, text, and geometric primatives), you need a graphics program.

Photo app to easily add text and some elements like

Hi guys
This is the situation: We are looking for an easy to use iPad app which we can use to edit pictures taken on an event. The purpose of the app is that the visitors of the event can have their own picture taken by a professional photograph, which we will sync to the iPad and which they can edit themselves by adding a bit of text and some text balloons we will design.
The only thing the app should do is make it possible to easily place the text balloon and the text.
Do you know some interesting apps ?

PHotopad by Zagg has some editing, but no addition of text.
You might look into photoshop and see if they support text and layers (which could be your word balloons).

How To Add Chapters And Metadata To Output File

Hey guys,
It looks like Compressor is the answer to my questions, but I wanted to be sure before I plop down the 50 bucks for it.
What I want to do is include chapters / markers in my final output of my movies to the iPad / iPhone, like you get in movies you buy. Final Cut Pro X allows for "Markers", though they appear to have no real value on this type of output. Based on what I've read it looks like you have to get Compressor in order to do the chapters.
So I just wanted to confirm that was the case, and also ask if the markers I set in Final Cut Pro X will be preserved for the trip to Compressor, or if I would have to create the markers from scratch?
Lastly, I'd also like to include metadata in my output as well, such as Genre, Description, Rating like "PG", copyright info, etc. Is Compressor also required for this?

Well after no responses and plenty more searching for answers with no results I went ahead and got Compressor.
To answer some of what I was originally asking for any who stumble across this thread, Compressor does do the chapters, but it is a manual process. You have 2 choices, add them yourself one at a time through it's little preview window or import a time coded text file, which I what I ended up using since it was easier for many chapters.
The metadata ( "annotations" in Compressor ) was less impressive. It does contain certain pieces of information for which show up in iTunes, but not all of it. I was pretty dissapointed in this respect. So if your looking for things like "Description" and the like, you'll need to find other 3rd party tools to do the job for you, which is a shame cause most that I've seen cause you to transcode the movie again. The sad thing is, it has "Description" for example, yet iTunes doesn't seem to recognize it as such. I'm not sure why Apple has made it so difficult to make your personal movies look professional in iTunes and on Apple devices. Seems like this would have been a no-brainer.
Personally it still isn't clear to me either why Final Cut Pro X couldn't have just given me these 2 abilities in the first place, I really don't need all the other stuff Compression can do, nor can it seem to do other simple tasks I need such as saving an annotation set so I can use it again for other movies.

The easiest way is to go to:
Insert >> Image
This method will allow you to browse the image you want to insert. I am, of course, assuming you have defined your site and that you have created a folder for images in line with "best practice" of good web designing. If not, it doesn't matter because you will get a prompt to move the image to your site if it is not already there.
Good luck anyway and post back.
For slide show, your best option is to google for it because there are some really good scripts out there that can do a fantastic job for you.

I think you may misunderstand the capabilities of PDF. Are you expecting the PDF to reflow around your new content - because it will not.

LR 2.6 Add Text to Slide .....??

I'm new to Lightroom ..... loaded to desktop with XP Pro (SP2) OS as LR2.3 from CD.... upgraded over net to 2.6. I'd like to add text to any single slide in a Slideshow.
I can't get the ABC button in Slideshow module to display any pop-up menu or text box as the Help material suggests the process ought to be.
If I go from Slideshow in top menu bar, then click Add Text Overlay I get a box in the slideappear with "Default Text Content" displayed. I can change the size, position and font ..... but I can't change the text itself.
After a bad start with Technical Support they tell me this could be a corrupt preferences file ..... of which, they say I ought to have two.
However, I only have one - Lightroom 2 Preferences.agprefs in C drive > Documents & Settings > [Username] > Application data > Adobe > Lightroom > Preferences. I've renamed this supposedly corrupt folder and let LR create a new one ...... with no effect on the problem.
Is the absence of the other preferences file called Lightroom Preferences.agpref a real issue? Have other users got 2 Preferences files in their Preferences folder?
I am most reluctant to go on to create a new user account in XP Pro as suggested by Technical Support where they identify I might need Microsoft help to do so. I regard this as a cop-out from understanding and fixing the real cause of the LR problem.
Any sympathy, shared experience or suggestions would be appreciated .

With a 15" screen you are always going to have some difficulties with LR or require excellent eyesight! The minimum requirement listed by Adobe are 1,024x768 display, I have a two screen set up, with the main screen as shown in the screen grab at 1800x1440 and find even that restrictive! In Preference, Interface, you can change the size of the fonts, which may give you a little more room.

Flex mobile add emoticons and text

I created a chat program in the mobile project, but I can not add emoticons，I know textarea can not display pictures,So I reluctantly use RichEditableText, it can add a picture, but why can not I enter characters (letters and Chinese characters) in the phone debugging, just enter only numbers, and punctuation symbols。Or there are other ways to solve add text and pictures？

Hmmm... That appears to work but also causes a runtime exception where there was none before the 4.6 upgrade. It occurs when I autoscroll on receiving a new message in the chat, something that worked fine in 4.5.
I guess I'm kind of wondering what the best practice is here. Maybe I'm just doing this wrong altogether. I'm finding it very difficult to implement probably one of the most basic features one would find in any collaborative app - something that was very easy in Flex 3 - the chat pane. I've had one functioning fine for about 3 years. Not so much in Flex mobile.
Chat is very simple functionality. When you receive a new message from afar...
1. add it to a TextArea with some nice formatting
2. auto scroll far enough so the user can see the new message in its entirety.
Nothing difficult at all.
Why are these two things difficult to find in the TextArea in Flex mobile? It almost seems as though it's something we're not supposed to be doing?
The answer here seems to be don't use Stage Text. Revert to an older TextArea skin. Why? What text area doesn't need formatting as an option? What text area doesn't need to be auto scrolled here and there? Or am I just going about this wrong? Maybe using the wrong components?
I guess for now I can revert to 4.5 skin, but now the code I used to auto scroll on receiving a new message throws a null pointer exception. I've been using the valueCommit property to auto scroll, as follows:
valueCommit="textArea.scroller.verticalScrollBar.value = textArea.scroller.verticalScrollBar.maximum"
Haven't had a problem prevously. But this now throws:
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.

Is there any way to add text or arrows onto photos in iPhoto when creating a book?

I am creating a photo book (Album), in iPhoto, in Projects. There are some place where it would be helpful if I could draw an arrow on the Photo to indicate certain places. I also would like to add text onto a photo in the book. This is as well as typing in the 'text box' provided. It needs to be on the actual photo in the book. Is this possible? I am using Version 9.5.1 which i think is the latest and i am running on Maverick on my iMac.

There is no way to add anything to the face of a photo in iPhoto at all You will need an extenral editror for that kind of work. You can add text and arrows etc with Preview, already on your Mac or with apps like these:
Seashore (free)
The Gimp (free)
Graphic Coverter ($45 approx)
Acorn ($50 approx)
Pixelmator ($50 approx)
Photoshop Elements ($75 approx)
There are many, many other options. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store.
You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.
