Also, I set up my router today no thanks to you. I waited on hold for 50 minutes to speak to someone and then they did not have a flipping clue. It was a complete waste of an hour of my life. Thanks for that!!
Also, you have some major, ridiculous issues with your router setup app. You need to formally and thoroughly test it. It sucks worse than anything I have ever setup in my life. It will not accept the passwords over and over again even though they are the correct passwords. Also, your MAC address filtering crashes over and over until it finally decides to work. It was utterly the worst experience I ever had in my life with a piece of tech equipment. A 30 minute job took about 12 hours!! Freaking ridiculius!! Please get your stuff together!! I paid over $200 for this router and expect MUCH more from YOU!!

I beg to differ. Everyone is having the same problems with this router. I switched the 5 Ghz band over to the N band yesterday and got up today and it just wasn't transmitting. All my devices had disconnected. I checked my wifi analyzer and sure enough the router was not transmitting anything in the 5 Ghz band. I switched it to AC then back to N again and all my devices connected again. This is absoulutely ridiculous to have to do this to keep my devices connected to my router. Yes, I keep my firmare updated, and yes I have reset it numerous times. Also, I have manually selected all channels in the 5 Ghz range and none work even though I am the only person in my neighborhood using the 5 Ghz band. This router is plainly and simply a POS and LinkSys should give me my money back for producing such a substandard device.

You might need to have Acrobat installed on your computer to convert a word document to PDF.
Do you have Acrobat installed? If yes, what version? If no, then please try using the trial version of Acrobat DC (latest version) and access its features:

Also, let me know what kind of blue boxes are you talking about.
If you want others to edit your PDF form, then you need to make it a fillable form by choosing 'Form Editing' option from Tools pane.

It makes life easier to install the airport utility for windows.. which has a couple of different apps in it.. if you airport is new type then the utility is too old.. but is still valuable for Bonjour which provides network information for shared devices in the apple world to windows.. and a disk access agent..
It will also help the Apple computer access shared directory in the windows computer.. nowadays this is pretty easy.

Where is the Start new conversations from??? When I go to Send & Receive, there is no where to add or set to receive at my phone number. There is only a setting to Add Another Email and my Apple Id is already there. No place or way to add a phone number to receive at. If you revisit a site that you tried to bookmark, is the star yellow?
If the star is yellow, the site has been bookmarked. Clicking on the star once saves the bookmark in the "Unsorted bookmarks" folder which is not visible in the bookmarks menu, clicking on the star a second time allows you to edit the bookmark so you can move it to the folder of your choice. Yes You can in iDVD make it to add a folder with Your pictures too (to be opened on PC/Mac - not viewed on DVD-player)

Goto tcode SE01, give the transport number --> display --> double click on the transport --> in the next screen select all the elements --> delete --> save.
To attach it to another transport, In RSA1, click on transport connection> Choose Object types> query elements --> here you can find your query/ or you can search, which you can drag to right and attach to the transport (using truck button).

Can you use an external antenna with the 4G LTE Router with Voice?

I live in a black hole of cell service - very rural, in a valley surrounded by trees, no DSL, no cable, no other options except satellite internet which I did for 15 years and will never do again. My current data setup is a Pantech UML290 USB modem connected to a Cellphone-Mate full band outdoor Omni 3G/4G antenna on the roof. I just ordered an amplifier to boost the 4G LTE connection. The modem is plugged into a Cradlepoint MBR900 router, which then provides my home internet (way more than 10 devices, and mostly wired).
Is there a way to add the antenna and amplifier setup to the broadband router with voice so I can be assured of the signal? If so, could I then use this router to feed the Cradlepoint and continue using multiple wired devices?
I was set to order this router last night, but the CSR through chat told me that you cannot attach antenna to the router with voice - only to the one with data. This really doesn't make any sense to me, but she was firm about it. If I can attach, can I use the cables I have or will I need a different adapter?
There is so little information about this particular router. My current setup is doing fairly well, but I would love the option to drop my landline and increase signal strength for both voice and data. With no antenna, the modem gets around -125 db, and can't connect at all. With the antenna mounted on the roof, and routed through the Cradlepoint, I consistently get -85 db. 4G LTE speeds are around 15-19 Mb/s down and very inconsistent 2.5-4.0 Mb/s up. However, the 4G drops and resets multiple times a day, so I usually sacrifice the speed to get a more stable 4.5-5 Mb/s down and 0.5 Mb/s up through forced 3G.
Voice calls are spotty if received at all, and frequently drop immediately if there is any connection. And of course, the data limit has been a nightmare. I could potentially save some money by porting my landline to Verizon, but not if there is no way to boost the signals. The Omni antenna will boost all, but not sure if there's any way to route the existing antenna setup to feed both the voice and data sides, or if it would be enough to allow me to do this. This router also says it's 4G LTE only, but the specs on the antenna they sell say it boosts 3G for failover, so not sure if it will grab anything else. Any help or advice GREATLY appreciated! No, not directly. You would need to transfer your data from your iPad to your Mac and then back it up to an external drive.

I am at a new office that uses Outlook (not Outlook Exchange) which does not sync with my mobile... I just got iCloud set up on my PC to sync my contacts, calendar, reminders, etc... The sync worked (not without flaws, but the other issues seem solvable... I think), so that i can now see all my appointments on both my phone and on my PC. The problem I am having is that iCloud moved all of my calendar items from Outlook into iCloud calendar and now when I send out meeting/calendar invites the recipients may accept them, but the meeting does not get added to their calendar. This is a huge problem and may mean that i need to turn off iCloud.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I am replying to my own post here as I seem to have fixed the problem.
I do have some calendars that are shared. Some of those are shared with users who have time zone support turned on. So i activated time zone support on my iphone, then deleted my icloud subscription. I then signed in to icloud again and voila... problem solved.
It is a weird one as the other calendar views were always fine and when you opened an event that appeared in the wrong day (on list view), the correct date of the event was shown in the information...

How do I import this music from my older itunes ipod so that I can then sync some of it with my iphone. Hate to lose all of this music since it took me years to collect and download it.

How can I add vocal effects other than the 9 Voice options? (I can't shift pitch)

I am making the switch from PC and am just trying to lower the pitch of a vocal track by at least an octave; I just got a MBP last week and am running GB 10.0.2. I can't find any info on similar problems that is helpful; most solutions I've come across show that when the track is selected, there should be a pitch shift bar with a sliding button, but I do not have that. I read a lot of people saying something about the track being purple or not, but I'm not sure if that's relative to the version I have or if that has anything to do with what's happening. When I select the track, in the little area toward the lower left when "Track" is selected, (what is that space called?) where the pitch shift option is for other people, I only have a sliding bar for Pitch Correction, and a checkbox for Limit to Key and Enable Flex. When "Region" is selected, it just shows the name of the region and there are no options. Another question I have is how to change the pitch of midi sounds? When the keyboard is open on the screen I have tried moving the little octave shifter, but it assigns the sounds that are on the keyboard at different locations if I move it, so it changes the sound completely. A couple of them shift one octave up or down, but there are no actual controls..
I'm mostly just dabbling with EDM/trap/Hiphop tracks at the moment, but am confused about whether or not there are other vocal effects and controls other than the preset Voice options in the instrument area (Bright vocal, Classic vocal, compressed vocal, Edge vocal, etc.)? I'm not going to be using GB forever, but are there not any other options like for current rap/trap production (phaser, balance, EQ, auto tune, choppers, actual voice altering effects, etc.) [preferably without buying extra things]? And not only vocals, but editing effects for all sounds.. If so, how do I get to them? And if not I know I should at least be able to lower or raise the pitch of a vocal recording... There are some pretty legit electronic instruments that are exactly the kind of sound I'm going for so I was surprised to not see an equally simple to access vocal effects board or something. Any additional tips for a n00b electronic music producer would also be greatly appreciated! Thank you for any help!

In GarageBand 10 you can no longer change a track with an audio file to a "purple" audio recording, as it has been possible in GarageBand '11.
Even, if you can make the transpose slider visible by enlarging the the track editor panel, the slider will be disabled.
What you can do however, is either add an AuPItch filter from the audioUnit panel or to convert your audio file to loop and to admit from the Loop Browser.
In the new GarageBand you add the AuPitch filter from the Smart Controls.
Enlarge the SmartControl panel by dragging the dividing line upwards, until you see the Audio Units brick, then add an Apple Audio Unit and set it to AuPitch.
Or create a loop from the audio file. Select the region in the track and use the command "File: Add region to Loop library". You need to trim the filet an exact number of measures.
Set the current key and tempo, name the loop, and save the loop. Make sure, that one-shot loop is not enabled.
Now add it from the loop browser to a new track and delete your old track. The search field in the Loop browser will help you to find the loop quickly.
You will be able to transpose the sample like any regular loop.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I have tried as you suggested, and when opening the "purchased" apps some have the icloud logo next to them, but I only have "OPEN" against "Find My iPhone". When opening it up, it goes through the same routine; needs to be updated before proceeding, and wouldn't update because I don't have IOS8.
Anything else I could try, or am I doomed!

There is no p/w related to it and even though I tried to reset "password" it won't allow as the id does not exist, neither does the email associated with the old id. How do I switch it to a newer id?

It's all rather odd because the old account cannot 'no longer exist' - if you don't have the correct password you won't be able to get into it, but you can't actually delete an iCloud account from the server.
I'm afraid you will need the services of iCloud Support. If you currently happen to have AppleCare, either because you recently bought Apple hardware or have paid to extend the inititial period, you can contact them here:

You will need the serial number of the covered hardware.
If you are not covered by AppleCare, then - in common with other free email services - there is no free support and you may be asked to pay a fee.
