Add to playlist button disappeared

After installing the most recent Itunes update on my PC, the "add to" button mysteriously diappeared, making it impossible for me to add any music to my playlists. The "view" button remains. Any suggestions out there on how to find/retrieve it?

That is the first thing I checked.
The really strange thing is that it has the option 'add to browser favourites', but not the option 'add to favourites'. I always thought that if you set the propertly to true, then both would appear and vice versa that if it was set to false, then they will be hidden.
When we set it to false, the 'add to browser favourites' disappeared, set it back to true and only 'add to browser favourites' appeared again.
Looks like an OSS message is going to be sent.

So many times I've been listening to what I thought was a pretty awesome playlist that I've made, only to hit a track that just sucks! What was I thinking adding that to my list of best songs?! It would be great to have a quick way of deleting the offending and embarassing item from the playlist so that it can no longer bother anybody! Perhaps a button in the (...) drop-down menu, below the "Add to Playlist" button, and it might read "Remove from this Playlist". I think that would be a pretty well-used feature on my spotify app!

My "edit playlist" button has disappeared!

Recently, my "edit playlist" button has disappeared all together when I right-click a playlist. I do know how to manually add to a playlist, but it's inconvenient. It's there when I click File, but I can't click on it. I've tried calling Apple, but of course, they wanted to charge me. I tried uninstalling iTunes, but it didn't help. I would very much appreciate any help on this matter. Thanks.

I'm slightly confused by your problem.
The only "edit playlist" option is to Edit Smart Playlist, which allows you to change the rules for Smart Playlists, but that does not allow you to add or remove individual songs. Here's a screenshot of the different Playlist types:
To edit a Regular Playlist, simply drag the songs you want into it, or delete the songs from it.
If you highlight a regular Playlist and click on File, the Edit Playlist is greyed out and cannot be used. Frankly, I don't know why it's even shown.
If I want to delete the song Dap Walk from this Playlist, I simply right-click it and choose Delete:

The share button disappeared from my Facebook add-on just before I upgraded to Firefox 5.0. I thought by upgrading and reinstalling the add-on it might come back, but it didn't. All other FB buttons are there, near as I can tell. Any ideas? I'm using XP3.

I had the same problem with finding this file.
There's no such file in Mac OS X version of Skype. But there's a directory for your Skype user account in /Users/%current_user_name%/Library/Application Support/Skype/
try:
quitting Skype
renaming old folder
signing into the Skype

Suddenly, my custom url buttons disappeared from the navigation bar and I can no longer add new ones. FF22

I am using Firefox 22 (I like its features and do not want the features added in later version.) I have added a handful of custom URL buttons to the navigation bar that allow me to go instantly to websites I visit frequently. There was/is a function in Firefox for adding such buttons. This morning, after leaving my computer on all night, I found that the custom buttons had disappeared and I could no longer find the function for adding new ones. Can you tell me what has happened and how I can add custom URL buttons? I will appreciate your help. Thank you.

I solved my own problem. This function was added by Google Shortcuts, which somehow became disabled. After fussing ariound for a few minutes. I was able to restore it.

The iTunes app cannot disappear ... it may be on a different screen.
Regardless, you can force it to your home screen by doing:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout

Reminders "+" add button disappeared?

I use the "Reminders" app that comes with iOS frequently. When I tried to add a new reminder this morning, the "+" button that adds a new reminder disappeared. It does not show up, and I cannot add a new reminder. Is there any way to get it back?

Quit the app then reset.

How to add a playlist folder to your iPhone manually so the music can be organized in separate folders (playlists). It's supposed to be simple and intuitive in Apple but I spent few hours trying to figure it out in my iTunes/searching in internet a solution; and I have a university education plus a PhD! And the question might be very standard. I have new iTunes 11.2.2.3 (June 2014) version and a standard PC.

Finely figured it out, solved! How to: Connect iPhone to PC, open iTunes and select your iPhone in the menu on the top, then "Library" in right top, afterwards go to "playlists" in the top menu. In playlist in left down corner by pressing "+" button adding "a new playlist". It will appear in right upper corner! (a little jumpy!). Then you can name your new playlist and drag/drop your music Mp3 files in this right upper corner area. Press done and sync in the end. Cant use Export to Excel functionality for ALV if I add a custom button

Hi,
I have added a custom button the the ALV toolbar by creating a GUI status and using the USER_COMMAND event. However. Now I dont the get the standard ALV toolbar with all the options for sorting, exporting to excel etc.
Can someone show me how I can do both, add my own button to the toolbar as well as use ALV Grid toolbar. Currently the ALV grid standard toolbar has disappeared

Hello,
I am not sure how you are creating your ALV report. If you are using FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY there is a parameter callled I_CALLBACK_PF_STATUS . Read the documentation for this field from the doc for the FM. It tells you to copy a standard PF status from fucn group SLVC_FULLSCREEN and then add your new button to that staus.
If you are using class CL_SALV_MODEL_BASE there is a method called set_screen_status that lets you do a similar thing - copy an existing PF status and add your button.

Thanks, Huntress, but it's not in More either. I'm talking about the genius button/atom icon that used to appear in the center/top part of the screen while a song plays in the music player, like in this image (I used to be able to tap the atom icon to create a genius playlist on my iphone):
Now, when I play a song, there is no atom icon/genius button like in the following image. I've already tried tapping where it used to be and it doesn't come back.

Dear experts
Recently the "Add to favorites" button in top right corner in our CRM system disappeared by some users. However, some other users can still use this button. At first there were 2 or 3 users complaining that the button disappeared, but within the last week it became more and more users.
So I started the investigation of this issue and found out, that I can reactivate the button by doing the following:
Go to "Personalize" -> "Personalize Settings" -> "Tag clouds and favorites" -> "Enable Favorites"
Can someone tell me why or how the default settings could have been changed for a couple of users? Furthermore I need to know where I can set this as default for all users again.
Any help will be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Answer from SAP for Parameter setting
FAVORITES_ALLOWED must be set to TRUE and PERS_FAVORITES must be set
to X.
I have deleted the entries for my user (THX JYves !), set the Parameters and it works now.
If I look into the personalization , the checkbox to allow Favorites is set to X, even the parameter was deleted before.

You should be able to remove it by going to Add-ons, then Extensions. If it's not there, then the free edition of Malwarebytes from http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free should be able to get rid of it for you.

I recently had an electrical shutdown while importing photos in iPhoto (9.6), on my computer (using Mac OS 10.10.1). When I started my computer again, iPhoto asked for rebuilding my database, which I did. Since then, on all my pictures, the new as the old ones, I can not add a face, the "add a face" button is grey. In addition, on my old pictures onto which I already added a face, the tag has apparently disappeared (in the information panel, the names do not appear anymore), although the faces are still correctly appearing when going to the main face panel. Something else I remarked, when I start iPhoto, in the top left corner where I can select the face presentation, I have a circle in which two arrows are circling, with no end.
Resumed: My main problem is that I cannot add any names on the pictures...
So far, I have tried these solutions, none of them fixed my issue:
1) Launching iPhoto pressing the alt and Cmd button to repair the permissions, rebuild the thumbnails, repair the database, rebuild the database
2) repaired the permissions through onyx
3) erased the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file in the library / preference folder
4) erased Faces.db (in Pictures/iPhoto Library/Database/apdb) and Faces folder (in Pictures/iPhoto Library/Database), and use the files I have in my TimeCapsule from a time before my issue started
Anybody to share with my his/her ideas to solve my problem?

It appears you are experiencing library issues in iPhoto . That does sound troublesome. To help you resolve this, I have linked to an article that offers troubleshooting suggestions for this issue:
To rebuild the iPhoto library:
Quit iPhoto if it is open.
Hold down the Command and Option keys on the keyboard.
Open iPhoto.
Keep the keys held down until you are prompted to rebuild the library.
A dialog will appear with rebuild options. Select the options you want to use.
Click Rebuild to begin the rebuild process. This may take a few minutes to complete.

This is what the dialog box will look like in your version of iPhoto. I would recommend performing each option. However, I would not recommend this process if you do not have a backup of your photos:

Hi, I have just looked at my itunes library on my Iphone 4s and noticed that my recently added and recently played playlists have disappeared. Does anyone know why this has happened and how can I get them back? Preferably without restoring my whole phone.

Solution/work around:
Add a new smart play list.
File > New Smart Playlist. From this point a pop up will appear.
Match following rule is selected
(Date added) - (In the last) - (2) - (weeks)
No limit set
No match only checked items
Live update selected
Then <ok>.
Change name of smart playlist to something like 'New Music' and Sync to IPhone/IPod.

How do I stop my toolbar buttons disappearing every time I restart Firefox?

My toolbar buttons disappear every time I restart Firefox 4.0.1. They used to disappear only every week or so. Then I tried the recommended fix at "http://kb.mozillazine.org/Bookmarks_history_and_toolbar_buttons_not_working_-_Firefox" dealing with file places.sqlite. Now they disappear every time I start, which is several times a day due to RAM usage sometimes approaching 1GB after a few hours. I am on Win 7 and have customized with tabs on bottom and to display the menu bar and put my buttons at top to save space. This is driving me insane. I have to re-customize the toolbars every time I open the browser. I did not have this problem with Ff 3.6. I have tried the safe mode and checked add-ons 1 at a time. Nothing changes except now it's every time instead of every week or so. I cannot switch to Chrome full time because they don't have all the add-ons I need for work. Please help.

If you lose the toolbar customization then you do not have a problem with places.sqlite, but with the file localstore.rdf in the [[Profiles|Profile folder]].
