So kindly i need help to add user to The ACS which has limited access to my network Switches ( As Show only not to change configuration )
Also how to take backup for the ACS Database

Hi,
Search about command authorization in the AAA section, you'll get ample information about it, i.e., on how to configure network devices so that you can allow certain users on ACS to have limited and certain user to have full access.
About taking a backup, that is pretty simple.
System Configuration > ACS Backup > Backup Now.
And you have a latest backup from ACS.

Vista - Connected with Limited Access???

Please help!!! This problem is driving me mad. Every time I try to connect to the router whilst wireless it says "Connected with Limited Access"? I then plug the cable back in and "ta dah" it works fine. I have tried almost everything and cannot understand the problem - can anyone help?

Add user to acs 3.2 with csutil -i file

Hello,
I'd like to import to my acs a file for add user.
I don't know the parameter to use to define the CLI/DNIS-based access restriction.
Now I use the string
ADD:<user>:CSDB:<password>:PROFILE:<group-number>
But I must to go to web console to restrict the access...
Can you help me? Or you can suggest a work-around?

So I am following power-shell script that I see online.
I am trying to add 2 users (as a test for now) from a csv file into an AD group.
The AD group name is "IMAllow"
I created a file called AddUsersToGroup.ps1 that I am running on windows power-shell.
The file contents are below

MSI GT70 with Limited Access Internet Problem

Hi I'm using MSI GT70-0ND
everything working fine but yesterday I did upgrade window 8 ---> 8.1 and Ethernet Lan still working. anyway when I'm using wifi i can't it say limited access (before I changed it to window 8.1 i can use wifi) so I refresh my notebook to turn window 8.0 again hope can solve this problem
but this change makes problem because I can't use internet lan and wifi too
the way i did(but it can't be solved)
1.uninstall killer network
2.restart
3.try use cleaning killer x64
4.restart and then
5.install bigfootkiller network( i try all firmware but it still problem)
i don't know how to do it (and this icon also have yellow mark) so what i should do

SecurityAgent seems to be thrashing when ParentalControls logs out a user with limited access time.

I have a 2007 iMac running OS X Lion, all latest updates and patches applied.
My daughter has an account on the system, which I have limited to only being able to be used for a few hours a day.
The problem arises when she leaves herself logged in, but walks away, and the time runs out. When I sit down at the console, the first thing that happens is that the cursor disappears, and the systems starts to go into a logout. Makes sesne so far, I guess. However, the system then goes into what I can only presume is some sort of loop. The cube animation starts, and rotates back and forth several times between two screens, both equally hessian wrapped, with no distinguising features.
I can log into the system via ssh, and I can confirm that the system is spiking out on SecurityAgent:

Now, obviously, because I can ssh in, I can start a clean shutdown and restart, but I'd like a way to do this that doesn't involve me bringing down the system, when the whole point of multiple users and parental controls is that a system can be shared cleanly.

See if this blog post that our support team created helps you with the connection information. This can create the desktop Access application linked up to the Access 2013 web app tables you have.

Also, you might just try clicking the Create Reports button in the Access web app client interface and Access will create the reporting database for you with links to the web app tables. On the File menu (when using the Access web app in client) make sure
to click the option to Allow Any Location under the Manage button. After that, just click the Create Reports button on the File menu (right above the Manage button) and wait a few seconds. Access will create a new desktop database linked up to all of the Access
web app tables. You can then create as many reports or other desktop objects as you like.

How can I share the results with limited access to another user

I am adding another user to be able to see results of forms submitted, I want the user to add some text into the results view but I don't want him to have access the the design view. How can I make that happen?

Creating users with limited access (admin level)

Hi,
I have a requirement where in I need to create a user which can only assign business areas to other users. This user should not have access to "Create/Edit" business area or to assign priviledges.
I tried to achiieve this by using "Allow administration" at the Security level to this user for a biz area. This ensures that the "Priviledges" option is disabled for that user. But I need to give the "Create/Edit" business area privliedge to this user so that he can grant access to business area (which I dont want). I want to ensure that he is able to grant access to business area without having create/edit rights on that business area.
Could you let me know if you have any way to solve this.

Hi,
Changing the security access to a business area counts as a edit to the business area therefore the user will need Create/Edit privilege. One way to do what you want is to create a trigger over the EUL5_BAS table that will prevent the user from making changes to this table raising an error if this is attempted. However, this is not an Oracle supported approach but will work fine.

External hard drive with limited access

I have a MacMini running Leopard 10.5.8 and have 3 external storage devices.
Yesterday, I turned on the one with my media files, Samsung Story 1GB, I got a warning.
Then, I tried Disk Utility but repairing options were grayed out except Verify Disk.
When I tried that, I got another warning. (I tried to get the screenshots)
When I click "Get Info" on the Samsung, everything is grayed out.
I can access the files, but can't edit or move any of them.
Going thru some forums, being very unfamiliar with Terminal, I nevertheless entered
ls -alOe /Volumes in the Terminal screen and got the following.

I can't reformat the disk as I would lose all data. The free space on my Mac's hard drive is not big enough for copying all files and I have no way of getting a new external soon.
Can anybody help me please?

I did a quick Google for 'invalid key length' and as far as I can tell you have two options:
1 - Repair with DiskWarrior
2 - Backup disk and erase / reformat

Can't add user after login with KDM

Hi,
I start kdm in rc.conf with reboot and login as user I setup Arch linux. It seems this user name is not admin and can't add other users.
I may miss sth to do before I start KDE. What should I do?

The issue is I can't see any users and groups existing by "users and groups" tool under systems of menu.
Even I can add new user (this means I am admin), I can't change anything under "Login manager"

Hi,
Create a user and give the check box for 'Administrators' group and check.
If required give 'Presentation Service Administrator'group too.
In Settings->Manage Privileges you can restrict the user to the Answers.

Non-technical user needs help with Microsoft Access/MS-Query connection

I've read through some of the other threads on problems with the ODBC connection from MS Access to an Oracle database but as a non-techie I'm afraid I need to ask based on the steps I have always used. I'm not totally inexperienced as I have gone through the same steps on multiple Windows XP machine running different versions of Oracle and Office over the past 10 years but the steps aren't working this time. If there are settings that need to be checked or changed (path, etc.) I'm afraid I'll need specific instructions as to where I need to look for them.
I'm currently trying to set up a connection on a new laptop running a 64-bit version of Windows 2007 Professional.
1) I've installed a full 64 bit Oracle 11g client and 32 bit copy of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013.
2) I set up the Oracle data source using the client Net Manager. I can connect from there.
3) I added it in the Oracle-provided Microsoft ODBC Administrator and can connect from there.
I the past, after doing this, the was automatically included in the list of ODBC Databases in MS Acess but this time it's not. I tried adding it as a new data source by selecting the Microsoft ODBC for Oracle driver but receive the same "The Oracle(tm) client and networking components were not found" error message that has plagued so many others.

This is bad code, for lots of reasons:
(1) Scriptlet code like this should not be used. Learn JSTL and use its <sql> tags if you must.
(2) This code belongs in a Java object that you can test outside of a JSP. JSPs are for display only. Let server-side objects do the database work for you.
(3) You don't close any ResultSet, Statement, or Connection that I can see. Microsoft Access doesn't save any records until you close the Connection.
(4) You don't have any transactional logic. When you write to a database, you usually want it to be a unit of work that is committed or rolled back together.

Limited access log ons for others in company

Is there a way for someone else in my company to log on with limited access to submitted forms only and not be able to alter designs/layouts/preferences, etc?

You can designate someone as a Contributor, which gives them the ability to Tweet the link to the form, Add/Delete responses from the View Responses tab, export responses and print summary reports. This level of user can see all of the settings, but cannot change them. The Design tab shows, but they are not able to make changes to the form.
If you want to be more restrictive there is the Reader user. A Reader cannot see the Design, Test or Distribute tabs. The Options tab only has the Email Notifications item and that is only availible if you have enabled the feature (it is greyed out if you have not selected it). The View Responses and Summary Report tabs appear, but Reaaders are limited to exporting and creating summary reports.

Limited Access permissions missing

SharePoint 2013 does not show limited access permissions (ie disabled inheritance on subsite http://sp/site1 but
http://sp does not list a user with unique permissions as limited access). Tried several install instances, anyone should be able to replicate this (RTM and ServicePack 1)
