Added Captcha Image extension but can't find application in DW CS4
Hi,
I installed DW CS4 about two weeks ago. Yesterday, I installed the PHP Captcha Image extension that I downloaded from www.tecnorama.org for the purpse of using it on my website's Contact Us page (getting lots of SPAM). Per the Extension Manager, the Captcha Image application installed fine but I have no idea where the Application Tab is in CS4 so I can add the Captcha Image to my form. Prior to CS4, I used DW MX and the captcha application after adding it would get applied from the Application Tab /Windows => Behaviour or via the InsertBar but I don't see either in CS4?
Where did my Captcha Image extension go and how do I access it?

Ignore the instructions on the tecnorama web page. They don't apply to CS4.
If you're ever in doubt on how to get started with a DW Extension, look for instructions in the Extension Manager in DW CS4 (Commands > Manage Extensions..)
Click on PHP Captcha Image.
Assuming you're already editing a PHP page, the instructions there say: Server Behaviors (Window > Server Behaviors or Ctrl+F9) - > Captcha Image.

You used the data. Verizon can not see what it was sued for. However your phone can see whats apps used the data. go to settings-data usage- there will be a place that says data usage cycle. line the dates up with your cycle. then there will be a bar graph below that extend bother white bars one all the way to the left and one all the way to the right. after those are extended below that will be a list of apps, there should be one that used over 2 gb and that will show you what app used that data in her purse

I added Panorama Group Tabs and I don't like the way it works. I want to remove it but can't find or figure out a way to. Can you please tell me how it can be removed permanently? Thanks!
That link doesn't tell you how to remove the Panoroma Tab Groups!! My main issue with it is that along my tabs at the top I no longer have the tab to open a new tab. Instead I have to click on the tab groups and then open them and click on an open area in the tab to get a new tab opened!! Is there a way to add that? I don't see that when I go to customize the tool bar as there's no icon to add it, just one to open a new window, which I don't want to do!! Thanks!!

Trying to gt my computer to move faster i deleted microsoft internet explorer an in order to get my computer to let me on the internet i had to download firefox when i did this i started receiving a message that said Extentsion helper has encountered a problem and needs to close not knowing this came from firefox i tried to delete firefox but kept receiving the messag i have since re-downloaded firefox but can't find extension helper to deactivate it my computer will not let me do anything i need help resolving this please
Stacey FeatherstoneCan you run Firefox long enough to display the Add-ons page? Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable. (Remove also is available for some extensions, but not the ones that Firefox found in a registry scan or shared folder elsewhere on your system.)
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.

If you cannot access the Add-ons page, try starting Firefox in Safe Mode, since that deactivates extensions and hopefully will stop that message from coming up long enough to get to the Add-ons page.
''If Firefox is not running:'' Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.
''If Firefox is running:'' You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
* "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
* Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

Lightroom installed but can't find it
Hi,
I just subscribed to lightroom + photoshop CC plan. I then installed photoshop and lightroom on OsX Maverick from the creative cloud application but can't find the Lightroom app...
I tried to re-install it from the lightroom disk image but it keeps asking me for a password...
How can I start the right (CC) lightroom ? Do I have to download a serial number from a torrent file as so many people do without any issue ?
Thanks.I have no experience with the CC applications. But it seems that sometimes the "regular" Lightroom installer fails to create a shortcut for starting the program. Checking your applications folder and see if you can find the Lightroom program. You might have to create your own desktop icon. I'm saying this because I understand from what You wrote that you have already installed Lightroom. Is that correct?

I am getting a weird alert I can't get rid of. Help! I have amber and gov alerts turned off. All other alerts turned off I think it may be a sever weather alert but can't find it!
That file could be set as a Launch Agent or Daemon in your ~/Library or /Library, You could try to look for it or Safeboot your computer and then empty the trash. I am using iWeb to produce the podcast. I am new to this, when I submitted the podcast it had my name listed (so I thought). I'm using Mail 7.3 but can't find a "Block Senders" option - as exists in Outlook - as a way to prevent repeated spam and advertising landing in my Inbox. Anyone have a solution for this? I've had a look at the Message Rules option but that doesn't seem to offer a fix. Thanks
You should be able to manage the problem with Rules, if you are happy to just delete the emails without you ever seeing them.
In Mail>Preferences>Rules, create a new rule with these options:
Description: Give a name to the Rule, such as Delete or Block Sender
On the line started 'If' choose 'Any' from the drop down menu and on the next line select 'From' and 'Contains', and then input the email address of the unwanted sender
Under 'Perform the following actions' choose 'Delete'.
As other senders you want to block send you unwanted emails you can add them to the rule by clicking the '+' sign against the line you added the email, if you have an email from that sender on screen when you edit the rule - they should appear there automatically. -

If you have some different page, try the quick fix in Fred McD's reply.
If the sites are missing, did you use the Reset feature? That will clear the storage associated with the new tab page. I'm not sure it's possible to recover from that; you probably need to rebuild your page from scratch as you browse.
For possible future reference, here is how to access the hidden setting for the page to display on new tabs:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''newtab''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the '''browser.newtab.url''' preference and enter your preferred page:
* ''Page thumbnails (default)'' => about:newtab
* ''Blank tab'' => about:blank
* ''Built-in Firefox home page'' => about:home
* ''Any other page'' => full URL to the page
Press Ctrl+t to open a new tab and verify that it worked. Fixed?
Some gotchas:
''If Firefox won't let you edit this setting:'' you may have something called SearchProtect on your system.
''If Firefox lets you save your change but ignores it:'' one of your extensions may be overriding it. You can review, disable, and/or remove extensions on the add-ons page:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > ''in the left column click'' Extensions
''If the change works during your session, but at the next startup is back to an unwanted page:'' you might have a user.js file in your personal Firefox settings folder (your Firefox profile folder). I want to run Apple Hardware Text but can't find it on any CD's. I bought my iMac in 2009. It came with 10.4. Apple Hardware Test is not on the installation disk. Should I have it? Where can I find it? I"m now running 10.7.4.
The disc plainly state:
To use the AHT, hold down the D key as the computer starts up.
Works here. However, there was an issue with installing Lion that screwed this process up.
Mount disc 2, run this command in the Terminal app, OPTION-click & hold Finder's Dock icon, and select RELAUNCH:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles 1
That unhides all hidden files/folders.
Now, drill down to /"Applications Install\ Disc"/System/Library/CoreServices/ and drag the .diagnostics folder into your Lion boot volume's /System/Library/CoreServices/ folder. That might require you to authenticate to copy the folder into the CoreServices subfolder.
Run this command to hide the normally hidden files/folders and RELAUNCH the Finder again.
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles 0
This should allow the machine to boot into AHT when restarting and holding down the D key.
If that doesn't do the trick, run this command in the Terminal app:
sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/CoreServices/.diagnostics
At the Password: prompt, carefully type in your admin password, since nothing shows up on the screen, and hit the return key. Then, try another restart, holding down the D key. -
I'm sure this is a setting fix, but can't find it…. All of my windows for mac programs open when I turn on my computer, such that I have to close each one individually to get to my desk top. How do I adjust so none of them open unless I choose to?

Rented movies downloaded to an iOS device cannot be transferred to any other computer or iOS device. Are you sure that a rented movie, downloaded to an iPad, can be airstreamed to an Apple TV?

It's not completely obvious. What you have to do in Spaces is to position your cursor to the upper right of the screen, after which faint + (plus) sign appears in that area. Click that, upon which another Desktop will appear.
The + may be difficult or impossible to see with some desktop backgrounds (black, for instance):
