Added Mac file to PC formatted ipod-can see data remains, but can't access songs-Can they be recovered?

I accidentally added a mac file (picture) to a PC formatted iPod.
My music still shows as being on the iPod. I can see that all of the data still remains on the device, but when I turn on the ipod, it says there is no music. No music is accessible through itunes either.
I am not sure if I created an extra partition which is being accessed when I turn on the ipod, but I am looking to remove it and go back to using the ipod as I was previously.
There is a lot of music on the ipod so I was hoping to restore the ipod to it's previous format without having to reinstall the software and delete all of my music. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate them.

But it will erase the iPod completely - i.e. you will loss on the songs on your iPod
For Mac computer
1. Open the disk utility, hope your iPod appears there (left hand side), highlight it
2. Go to Tab “Partition”, click either “Delete” or “Partition”, if fails, skip this step and go to 3
3. Go to Tab “Erase” , choose Volume Format as “MAC OS Extended (Journaled), and click Erase, again if fails, skip it and go to 4
4. Same as step 3, but open the “Security Options....” and choose “Zero Out Data” before click Erase. It will take 1 to 2 hours to complete.
5. Eject your iPod and do a Reset
6. Open the iTunes 7 and click “Restore”

AppleTv can see my computer but it cannot access it

On my AppleTV 2 w/ the latest software it can see my Mac Mini Server and 2011 MacBook Pro under Computers. Both Mac's are running Lion 10.7.3 I can access my MacBook Pro on AppleTV but I cannot on my Mac Mini. My Mac Mini can ping AppleTV successfully. I have turned off the Firewall on the Mac Mini. I was able to access my Mac Mini a few weeks ago.
The Mac Mini iTunes has Home Sharing on and I am signed onto the iTunes store. I have signed off and on the iTunes store.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this problem will be appreciated.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Regarding your first question about bookmarks, I think you discovered the answer in when you pressed the address bar. The second tab there has your bookmarks.
As for the keyboard, I'm not sure why your Firefox is reacting so slowly; mine seems to show keyboards even when I don't want them. If you have accumulated a lot of history, perhaps that's an issue?
Did you use any third party software to move your Firefox data from internal memory to the storage card?

Are these music videos located under Videos on your iPod? Do it play other regular movies (if you have any on the device)?

Apple TV2 can see my laptop but it can't access the files in on my laptop. Home sharing is turned on. I'm using Windows7 64bit. ATV2 can access the files on my other laptop and PC. I've updated my iTunes and ATV2. Any suggestions?

I assume you taken the step of restarting the laptop.
Have you checked your security software is allowing access for iTunes, which security software are you using.

My mac can see the network but won't connect to the server

I have an intel Imac. The network connect is working but very squirrelly. I see most objects on the network. I can see the server but it will not let me connect.
I go to another mac and I can connect to the server. So I think its my mac 10.7.5 is the OS

Probably nothign to do with your iMac or OS X, have you attempted resetting your router? Also you haven't stated what messages you are getting or any other information. If this is at your work then I'd suggest contacting your IT support person, the connection to your network may be on their end.

Verify the below details:
1. Whether your app/db started successfully.
2. Check the database properties :
Storage tab - .ind and .pag exits.
Statistics tab - whether any number exists in "number of existing blocks" and "existing level 0 blocks"
3. If all the above properties in esbase are fine then check your excel add-ins options settings while retrieval.

The 169 IP address mans it did not correctly negotiate with the router:
Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Try booting the Recovery Partition. Power off (hold the power key down for 7 to 10 second). Boot and hold down the Command and R keys. Is the screen still black? If so it is not a software problem so take it in for diagnosis and repairs. OK..this forum help me locate my iPhoto so HOPEFULLY ya'll can help me w/ 1 another issue. When I open an event in iPhoto...I can see the pics but when I click on the event itself a HUGE exclamation mark pops up and not my pic. Its really weird that I can see the pic but cant open it. The two problems are related.
The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
And that's why you can't export as well.
Option 1

Apple TV 2 Can See My Library, But Can't Connect for Home Sharing

I'm really at my last rope, so hoping someone will have mercy and be able to help here.
Symptoms:
- Go to my Apple TV 2
- Under the Home Sharing menu, select "Adam Nash's Library"
Result:
- Spinning cursor
- Cannot connect to "Adam Nash's Library". Please check that your computer is on and on the same network.
Internet access works for all devices, they all can do Netflix and Apple Store. Only one network in the house. No firewall activated on the mac.
I have multiple AppleTV units, and this has intermittently affected all of them. Periodically, I have solved the problem by taking them on / off ethernet.
Things I have tried:
- Restarting iTunes on the computer
- Turning Home Sharing on and off on AppleTV
- Turning Home Sharing on and off on iTunes
- Rebooting the computer
- Resetting the AppleTV units
- Restoring the AppleTV units
- Forcing the AppleTV units to different IP
- Forcing the AppleTV units to Ethernet instead of Airport (by plugging into Airport base stations directly)
- Swapping AppleTV units to different rooms
Nothing works.
One clue. I have three Airport Extreme base stations in the house, and this problem begain when one of them started misbehaving (would connect, but wouldn't pass through packets.) It's an Airport Extreme Base Station (Series 1). The other two are Series 4 & Series 5. I reset the misbehaving box and reconfigured it, and seems to be working fine from a networking standpoint. But once that happened, one of the AppleTVs started showing this problem.
Is there some reason that Home Sharing is hyper sensitive to the network in some way? It *seems* like what's happening is that it's seeing the iTunes Library (which is why it show's the Library name), but when it tries to connect, something is either encrypted differently or permissioned wrong.
Hoping someone can help me. Frustration is at 11.

One clue: I have found a reliable way to solve the problem when it happens.
In my network, I have the main Airport Extreme (Gen 1) which is connected to my router, which distributes IP addresses to my internal subnet. The other two AEs (one Gen 4, one Gen 5) are set to extend the network.
When I get this problem with an AppleTV 2 that can "see" my library, but when I try to open it, it says it couldn't find the library, it seems to have to do with a change in which Airport Extreme it's talking to.
If I restart the main Airport Extreme from the Airport Utility, effectively restarting the entire wireless network, then when the network resumes, every AppleTV 2 is happy again.
Unfortuntely, the problem does seem to recur - but I'm wondering if it's because temporary interference leads an AppleTV 2 to try to connect to a different AE, and somehow that's mucking with the Home Sharing. Remember, internet access (Trailers, Store, Netflix) have no issues. Purely Home Sharing.
