Added new Quote type, don't see in PC-UI

Not sure if there's a step we're missing here but we recently added a new quote type to CRM. It displays fine when using the GUI but in the portal, we don't see it appear in the popup when we create a new quote in the PCUI.
Any thoughts?

Hello,
In SPRO\CRM\Transactions\Basic settings\Define transaction types\, did you maintain the allowed channels for transaction type?
Check maybe for a working transaction type.

Frederic

    I just updated my ipad2 to ios7 0.2 latest update, but when I go to apps store to upgrade I don't see the upgrade button besides each app, nor when I go in for new apps I don't see free button to download new apps. Is there any setting that missed ?  please help...

    What do you see instead of update on the apps you are concerned about?
    When updating to iOS 7 auto update for apps will be turned on. When an app has an update available your iPad will download and install the update with no input from you. Apps that have been updated by this automatic process but which have not yet been opened will show a blue dot before their name.
    A record of updated apps is kept for your convenience. You can see this record by using the App Store app and select Updates, the right most choice in the bottom row.

    I've created a new user but don't see it in the login screen.  Can somebody help?

    Hi,
    Before going further, I’d like to recommend you check if the address list is visible in OWA.
    If yes, this issue occurs when the AddressBookRoots attribute of the Microsoft Exchange object does not have the same distinguished name value that is set in the All Address Lists attribute.
    For more detail resolution, you can refer to the following article:

  • Sales Order creation of adding new condition type to Item

    Hi Expert,
    The sales order has been created and need to add new condition type (Z601) to the first item(10). While adding the condition I am getting warning message like
    "Item 000030 exists already; the entry will be ignored".
    Where item 030 will be the last item.
    I have cheked but it's a standard report SAPFV45P, we can't modify. Please let me know can we set any field in the sales order so that we wont be getting this message.
    Regards,
    Mahesh

    Hello,
             If you would like to add the Condition Type automatically for a specific Item based on some condition (Lets say, Item Category), then you can code a Pricing Routine in VOFM Transaction and it will be automatically assigned.

  • Info required on adding new Connection type

    I am trying to create an addin for a new connection Type "Oracle Rdb" and have been able to get as far as having my new connection panel available in connections and can bind to my database etc.
    I can also use SQL Worksheet to query the Rdb Database.
    However I am having problems getting the Connections tree to display any of my tables etc.
    I have based my addin on the various extension addind (MySQL, ACCESS) etc, and have provided the appropriate XML files for queries, editing and viewing.
    I am using the latest version of SQLDeveloper available on the web 1.1.2.25
    build Mina 25-79
    When I drill down on my connection , only TABLES and VIEWS come up on the node and then when I drill down on either of these nodes, SQLDeveloper does issue a JDBC database metadata getTables() call which my JDBC drivers return a list of the tables in the database.
    But this is where it stops, no tables come up , no view come up in the tree.
    Is the process for creating new connection type Addins documented and if so where?
    Is there any possibility to getting a debug version of the SQLDeveloper code so that I can see how and why the Connection overview tree does not get populated.
    As the tree does not get populated I cannot check to see in the remaniing addin code is working ( ie the SQL statements as described in table.xml. views.xml etc)
    any help will be greatly appreciated as my fore-head is now pretty flat with all the pound againt this brick wall I have donw over the last weeks!!!
    jim

    Thanks Barry.
    I assume you mean the value returned by JDBC DatabaseMetaData.getDatabaseProductName().
    Well I did have "OracleRdb" in the XML files but the driver currently returns "Rdb" ( interesting aside, we had to change the value returned by this method to get around a problem with JDeveloper, we used to return "OracleRdb" but JDeveloper used to see the leading "Oracle" and assumed it was oracle classic db not Rdb.!)
    Anyway I changed the type in the XML files to "Rdb" and now I appear to failing even earlier. I dont even get to the stage where SQLDeveloper calls out to getTables().
    But what is happening is the following query is now being issued by SQLDeveloper and of course fails when Rdb tries to parse it as it is not a valid Rdb statement.
    declare
    nm owa.vc_arr;
    vl owa.vc_arr;
    begin
    nm(1) := 'SERVER_PORT';
    vl(1) := '80';
    owa.init_cgi_env( 1, nm, vl );
    end" )
    Why would SQLDeveloper now think that the database driver etc can handle OWA type calls?????

  • Adding new object type (field BKPF-AWKEY) for BAPI posting

    Hi everyone,
    I am posting to SAP GL using an input file to read the data and transfer it to BKPF and BSEG tables.
    The problem is I have to use BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST, and it expects values for OBJ_KEY and OBJ_TYPE.. For now, OBJ_TYPE creates a problem, because if I use BKPF, it says it cannot post using this object type, as it is for SAP internal use only.
    Does anyone know how to add a new object type for the customer namespace, which can be manually used for this kind of posting? I know that the new entry must be made in tables TTYP, TTYPT, and possibly TTYPV, for which the maintainence view exists: V_TTYPV.
    How to add an entry here, or where can I find it in customizing?
    All helpful answers will be awarded.
    Thank you very much

  • Adding New File Type/Editor (CS6)

    There are a number of posts around editing Extensions.txt and MMDocumentTypes.xml but those posts don't seem to be solving my issue.
    I have 40+ Dreamweaver users and I'd like to be able to send them one or two configuration files that add new extensions ALONG WITH primary and secondary associations for editing.
    For example, I need to add the extension for PowerPoint (.pptx) and associate PowerPoint as the editor. I want to do this for all Microsoft Office file extensions - associate the extension with the default editor.
    As a test, I've changed both Extensions.txt and MMDocumentTypes.xml in my local user folder, but the only result I get is that the .pptx file extension in the list of extensions Dreamweaver can Save As...
    That's not what I'm looking for.
    When manually adding an extension and a primary (or secondary) editor in the DW preferences File Type / Editor panel, I get the result I want... double-clicking the file from the Files palette opens the file in the specified editor AND the file extension (.pptx) does NOT show up in list of extensions in the Save As... dialog.
    I have about 10 different extensions/app associations I'd like to add. Is there someplace else I should be looking?

    The new format of what?
    If you're running iOS 6 and want to dowonload updates directly to your iPhone,  you can open the App Store and click "Updates" in the lower right and install them from there.
    If you're talking about iTunes 11 on your computer, then switch to the Apps button on the upper left and you can download them from there.

  • Adding new column to production database

    I have to add a new timestamp column, that defaults to the current date/time, to an existing production database. The table is large - 150M records. I am trying to understand the ramifications of adding a new column to a table this large that gets hit often, mostly with inserts and reads. The column does allow null values and I am not going back and populating existing records with a value. Basically, I am looking for some best practice guidelines - how to prepare, what to expect, what other processes should be followed along with this schema update.

    Thanks, I have not found any %TYPE or %ROWTYPE dependencies on the table I am altering. But at the same time I do not understand how these types of dependencies would invalidate packages. I wouldn't be breaking any %TYPE dependency because I am not dropping columns, only adding a new one. And according to documentation for %ROWTYPE - "If columns are later added to or dropped from the table, your code can keep working without changes." Can you point me to Oracle documentation that describes your concern in detail? Thanks.you can test it yourself

    SQL> you should also consider the chance that some where if people are using "select * into" using this table, which will fail since you added new column. i don't see any unusual performance bottlenecks by adding a new column. in case of the backups, yes the earlier backups will not have the column. if you restore it, you will see earlier table structure itself. i have one specific question. why are you not attempting this in development/test environment first? even if it is a simple insert, it's always important to do it in test environments before attempting on production db. one thing for sure i know is, after adding column, you will have to recompile all the invalid dependencies. i think, it's better if you attempt it in test db and come up with any issues you see rather than asking a general question where problematic scenarios are plenty and rarely unknown before hand.

  • Authorization for new info types added in PA61

    Gurus ,
    Our HR team have added new info types in transaction PA61 namely ,
    Organizational assignment (0001) , Pesonal data (0002) , Address(0006) , Family(0021), education (0022), date specifications(0041) , communication(0105) , passport no (9001) , license(9003) , physical details(9008) ..
    The problem once after adding it in the t-code (Without changing anything in the authorization object) the users will able to access some of the info types . HOw this could be possible ?
    They want the users only to see the details in pa61 . we should not allow user to copy/edit/delete in pa61 .
    but my problems are ,
    1.I have added all the above info types with authorization level 'R' , but still when they click edit it is working
    2.when users try to see the educational details through  infotype 'eduction'  it's showing the error as 'NO authorization to maintain education xx exists ' .but i have added the user name in transaction OOSB to profile ALL
    If i give su53 it's shoeing the object S_WFAR_OBJ , but i am not sure how is this object useful  ...
    Gurus help me in solving

    FYI: I deleted your duplicate post.
    SU53 (the last failed auth check only) in HR (complex checks) is not very usefull.
    Check which authority you have in P_PERNR?

  • How to add support for new file type.

    Using the ESDK, I would like to add support for new file type ( a new extension). this new extension will function like any other non visual code editor but will have specific syntax highlighting, code folding and explorer.
    I am trying ot figure out if I need to create a new editor or use existing JDeveloper code editor and add support for new file type. Does anyone have a high level outline on how to do this using the ESDK that is specifically targeted at adding new file type support for a text based code editor?
    I have looked at the Samples and keep going in multipe directions. It would be cool if there was an example that was how add syntax higlighting for new file type.
    Thank you

    Brian, thank you. I looked at this extension and it answered a lot of questions for me. I was going in the right direction but needed a little help and bost of confidence, this is just what I needed. I created the LanguageSupport, LanguageModel, Addin, Node and TextDocument that are specific to the new file type. I was getting hung up on how to hook this into the JDevelpoer editor. I keep thinking I have to create a custom editor but it looks like I don't have to and it looks like I can associate this file support with the editor framwork, for version 10.1.3.2, with the following in the Addin Initilize() method.
    Recognizer.mapExtensionToClass(MY_EXTENSION, MyNode.class);
    CodeEditor.registerNodeType(MyNode.class, MY_EXTENSION);
    LanguageModule.registerModuleForFileType(new MyLanguageModule(), MY_EXTENSION);
    I have done this but still not able to recognize the new file type.
    At this point, I just want to be able to recognize the new file and display it's associated icon or display a messare to the message log. I put a System.out.println("test") in the Initilize() method of my addin. then I registered MyAddin in the extension.xml. JDeveloper sees this new extension and it is loaded but I have not been able to show the test message or display the new icon when I open the new file type.

  • PO Output in R/3 for ECS PO's - Adding new output messages in R/3

    Hi,
    We are on SRM_SERVER 550, SAP 4.7 backend and are moving to ECS scenario (from Classic scenario).
    Currently the PO output gets trigerred from R/3 (since its in Classic scenario) and we would like to keep it the same way.
    I understand that there is a consulting note 883693 to enable PO output determination in R/3 for ECS scenario. We would be taking that approach.
    The only constraint we have is--> In Classic scenario, many of our buyers change R/3 PO's to add new message types. They also use ME9F to reprint PO's.
    Since in ECS, they wont be able to change the PO copy in R/3--> How can we keep the functionality of adding new message types in the PO copy in backend?
    Is there any other way/transaction/option available for this?
    Also, will the users be able to use ME9F for printing the ECS PO's in R/3? Will this work for ECS PO's?
    Regards,
    Srivatsan

    Hi Srivatsan,
    How are you?  Hope you remember me..We got a similar kind of requirement in our project. Do you have solution for this issue?

  • How to create policies on new target type such as mysql target type?

    In MGMT_USER_DEFINED_POLICY package, the target types are predefined.
    G_HOST_TARGET_TYPE CONSTANT VARCHAR2(32) := mgmt_global.G_HOST_TARGET_TYPE; -- 'host';
    G_DATABASE_TARGET_TYPE CONSTANT VARCHAR2(32) := mgmt_global.G_DATABASE_TARGET_TYPE; -- 'oracle_database';
    G_LISTENER_TARGET_TYPE CONSTANT VARCHAR2(32) := mgmt_global.G_LISTENER_TARGET_TYPE; -- 'oracle_listener';
    G_CLUSTER_TARGET_TYPE CONSTANT VARCHAR2(32) := mgmt_global.G_CLUSTER_TARGET_TYPE; -- 'cluster';
    If i added new target type to EM and want to create some policy on the target type, Must I recompile the MGMT_GLOBAL package by adding new defined target type.

    Chapter 8 in the EM Extensibility Guide (available for download here) should help.
