Added try it activity.. unable to track the course in Captivate 8?

Hi, I am using Captivate 8 version, I am tracking my course via Slide count. I have try it activity in my course. I am facing the following issues in tracking the course completion.
If the learner answers the try it correctly in the first attempt itself- the slides for try again is skipped, hence those pages are not tracked and completion is not marked.
If I try reducing the slide number in Quizzing->Reporting->Slide Views, there is chance that the completion will be marked well before the learner completing the entire course.
Is there a workaround where we can enter the slide numbers which alone can be tracked for completion?
Note-we are not having any quiz elements.

As per our requirement, we have designed the course in such way that a try it activity will be introduced in the middle of the course, where the learner have to perform few steps.
If they perform in correct sequence, he will be promoted to do next set of steps /actions. However, if he/she fails to do so, guidance will be provided with feedback.
Yes, for each single step of action of an application, we have duplicated the slides for try again' as Incorrect, incorrect try again and correct step of action.
If the learner answers the 'try it' correctly in the first attempt itself- the slides for try again is skipped, hence those pages are not tracked and completion is not marked in LMS.
So, need your suggestion and support for this case.

Anybody can please help me on this issue that i create a shippable item with install base trackable option checked while doing the transactions like miscelleneous receipt and purchase order on that item automatically tracked in the install base while doing the sale order for the same item it is not tracked, but non shippable items are tracked in install base perfectly.
My requirement is shippable items are also tracked in install base, i already checked the option install base tracked in inventory master items form even though it is not tracked through sales order.

Go to V/06, select the tax condition type and execute. There check whether you have maintained "Condition Class" as D. If not, maintain D and then retry.

The server was unable to save the form at this time. Please try again - tried the trust standards...

2013 standard sharepoint server. Content DBs were on a Trial enterprise server and copied over to standard server. All was good on trial server.
there are 8 sites on server, 2 of the sites cannot create or edit items, they get "The server was unable to save the form at this time. Please try again"
googling around i tried everything. restarted search host controller, checked ram usage (8gb free), manage content types, iisresets, edit the web.config file ( add things for ram, search host, etc), no alternate access mappings, .net HTTP activation, rebooted
server... I'm sure i missed some.
The server is new install, all but the August HF CUs. Trial server the content DBs came from is at same level.
It is not a server level issue as the other 6 sites are fine. its something with just 2 sites.
kinda stuck here...

With the USL Logs were hard to track down what was happening, though I think it was too do with /_vti_bin/client.svc/ProcessQuery.
I did the Enable/Disable Anonymous Access on the Directory with no luck.
Brought up Fiddler and Saw that I was getting 401 and 500 Errors on
GET http://team.intranet.eandm.com/it/_vti_bin/client.svc/ProcessQuery HTTP/1.1
So it had something to do with Permissions. I checked the Authentication and the sites that worked had Forms Auth Enabled, and the ones that didn't, didn't have forms Auth enabled. Enabling it manually was no go.
I then went though the web.config on the working and non-working sites and there were some differences. The Authentication was Forms on the working site, Windows on the nonworking. There was many things not present. httpModules section was missing,
Many of the Microsoft Identity /Authentication lines etc.
So I Basically took the web.config from the working site and copied it to the non-working site preserving the following line from the original web.config:
<machineKey validationKey="{key}" decryptionKey="{key}" validation="{hash}" />
After that I had Security Issues, Though I think this was Caused by the July 2014 CU making everything use the Microsoft Identity parts, where as the server I was porting form had the sites created before the July 2014 CU. (though both were at the same level)
Even though all of the users were present in the site security, I had to Drop and re-add them to every site/and list with special Perms.
With the Security Fixed, I no longer received the Error "The server was unable to save the form at this time. Please try again"
Knock on wood its all functioning fine.

we fixed the issue,
for a particular user we didnt add his membership in a group in security realm, we added the user to a particular group, and then restarted weblogic, and deployed the module, and then status of deployment becomes successful.

Nokia OVI Suite Error - Unable to read the tracks

I have puchased Nokia X6, which comes with unlimited music download. I have registered my PC with this subscription and downloaded music from the store.
However recently the Nokia OVI suite Software 3.0.0.290 gives a error on clicking the Music section - Operation Failed "Unable to read the tracks"

I have OVI Suite 3.1.1, and a Nokia 5230, which works with OVI suite only while there is no Micro SD card in the phone. This was the same with OVI 2, as well. WIth the card inserted, the /private/10208913 folder is regenerated every time the card is plugged back into the phone, and a "New Hardware Detected - MTP" message appears every minute or so, which also denies accessing the phone through windows explorer despite selecting the Mass Memory Mode. I've been unable to load any new music to the phone for months, despite countless retries.
I have win XP, and a crumbling confidence in Nokia. A tragedy that I have bought an X6 for the other half, which I have not had time to set up yet, and another 5230 for my father which was also several days toil of installs and reinstalls of OVI Suite and OVI Music on a Vista PC. Nokia OVI just seems like nothing but constant hard work, and what I could have earned in overtime would have paid for a much slicker product. Unless Nokia can sort this out, rather than relying on discussion groups to try to help user groups resolve what seems to be a flakey product, from my limited experience, I don't hold out much hope for this product line.

Unable to delete the request id in ODS....indicating partially activated

Dear All,
When I tried deleting a request from ODS, am unable to turn the QM status to red, itz indicating that the request is partially activated. When I tried deleting the request without changing the status, the delete icon is popped up, but eventually goes back to the previous status and hence does not get deleted.
Due to the above, the subsequent requests coming into the ODS are not getting activated at all...
I tried running the function module RSBM_GUI_CHANGE_USTATE, to delete the request, but to no success. Similarly, when I tried locating the requests in the four tables RSICCONT, RSMONICDP, RSODSACTUPDTYPE and RSODSACTREQ, could not found the request id to be deleted in any of these 4 tables.
Please suggest some solution as it is of high importance...

You can try the below options,
1. Remove the request data from the active table using the function
to delete data selectively.
You must enter selection criterion to select the data of the
aborted request.
2. Use Transaction SE37 to execute the 'RSAR_ODS_API_DEL' function
module as follows:
I_REQUEST <Name of the activation request>
I_DATE <current date>
3. Use Transaction SE16 to delete all entries for this request and
for this ODS object from the RSICCONT, RSMONICDP, RSODSACTUPDTYPE
and RSODSACTREQ tables.

When opening Power BI Sites with internet explorer, in certain security configurations you may run into the above error. While we are looking into resolving this, please see the following workaround:
From the Tools menu, select internet options.
On the security tab uncheck the "Enable Protected Mode" checkbox form the relevant Zone (Intranet/Internet)
Remove all entries to *.powerbi.com from trusted sites or/and local intranet sites
On the advanced tab, uncheck the "Enable enhanced protected mode" (if you made a change here it will require a restart of the machine)
Restart and try again (if not changes done in the last step, just restart the browser)

I recently had the following situation, where I changed the source of my CSV file in Power Query.
Once I had reloaded the file, it would then not load into Power Pivot. So I disabled the loading from Power Query into Power Pivot. I then enabled the loading to the Data Model. Which then successfully loaded the data into Power Pivot.
But once I went into Power Pivot, had a look, then saved the Excel file. Once saved I closed the Excel file. I then opened the Excel file again and all the sheets that interact with the Power Pivot data work fine.
But if I go and open Power Pivot I get the following error: Unable to load the tables in the Power Pivot Window – An Item with the Same Key has already been added.

I would assume that the issue is with the synonyms and for some reason, when I disabled the loading of my data into the Power Pivot Model, it did not remove the associations to the actual table and synonyms.
If I renamed the table in Power Pivot it all works fine. So that was my work around. Fortunately I did have a copy of the Excel workbook before I made this change. So I could then go and add back in all the relevant data to my table.
Has anyone had this before and know how to fix it?

When I try to update I get an U44M1I210 error message, "Unable to extract the downloaded files" - help please, applies to latest Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CC

When I try to do a CC update I get an U44M1I210 error message, "Update failed - Unable to extract the downloaded files. Press retry to download again. (U44M1I210)" - help please - re-downloading makes no difference, applies to latest Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CC, others seemed to update without problems. I can see the disk image files in AAMUpdater folder but they will not open and come up with "couldn't be opened - resource busy" message.

I've included a small error snippet from two installs here. In Creative Cloud when updating the Apps, all 3 get to 50%, then the failure occurs. Retrying starts at 50% and fails the same way each time.
This first one is a segment from the Indesign updater - I have always had the all hard drive folders with read and write privileges allowed and I checked again, this is still the case so I do not know why this particular error message is arising. The second snippet if from the Illustrator update.

On itunes everytime I try and play a track the warning 'the song could not be played because the original files could not be found' please can anyone help me? Thanks

Hi. I have been having problems with my PC and recently removed a lot of rubbish to clear it somewhat. I dont know if that is relavant however on top of that I have just received my replacement iPad2 which i had a proble with and thought I would just tidy up my tunes before sycing. The problem is that everytime I click to play a track in iTunes on my PC, whilst the track is showing on my itunes, it comes up with a warning 'the song cannot be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to find it'. I have tried clicking 'locate', but all that appears is 'music Library' 4 different dates. Help i am very confused, can any shed any light on this

Sounds like you have somehow moved your itunes music library to a different location to where iTunes thinks they should be. Your music should be in a folder called "iTunes Media>Music". If they are located there, try going into iTunes, right clicking on one of the songs and then "get info". When the box pops up, on the first screen it should give a location line where it thinks the music is located. If it is differen't to where you music is stored, try and match it up to the location line that was in the "get info" box.

I have tried this and it only results in a stalled/locked program. I have tried restarting my machine multiple times and tried reconfiguring how the cache is managed. Error while creating task: The server was unable to save the form at this time. Please try again. (SharePoint 2013)

I get the following error while saving a task inside task list:
"The server was unable to save the form at this time. Please try again."
I tried restarting "search service host controller".
The server has 8 GB RAM and according to task manager, 6.67 GB is being used.
I logged into the site with user which is the owner of the site. I tried creating tasks from client as well as the SharePoint server itself. Same error is shown in both the cases.
How do I find information on the exact problem that is causing the error? What are possible solutions?

This error message often shows when there is low memory that can be used, the workaround restart the “SharePoint Search Hosting Controller” service is to release some memory, and make it work. Whether restart the service release memory
in your situation?
Would you please check whether this issue happens all the time in task list, or happens sometimes when the memory is lower to use. If it doesn’t have a large impact, you can restart the server, check the result. have a look at the event
log and ULS log, see whether there is related information.
If it happens all the time, would you please use other browsers, whether the results are same? This may be caused by some add-ons in IE, like Free Download Manager I have seen.
