Adding a Field to Standard T.Code

I want to add a field of Special GL indicator to the T.Code - F-05 . Please can anybody help in this regard

Hi,
Can you pl. let us know why you need spl. gl code for transaction F-05?
It is a transaction that allow postong to GL accounts only and we can have spl.gl only for subledgers.
If you need to post to subledgers, you will have to try other transaction codes.

I have recently added some fields to the Asset Master table ANLU using the customizing include CI_ANLU. I have also added some fields using an append structure to ANLZ. I now need to have these fields available in the standard reports for Asset Accounting. One example is the report generated for transaction S_ALR_87011963. I need the new fields available in the 'Displayed Columns' list when clicking the Change Layout icon. Any suggestions?

Hi Vignesh,
Adding new fields is not possible, but custom subscreens can be added.
Check enhancements QQMA0001 (subscreen for notification header) and QQMA0008 (subscreen for additional data).

Adding custom fields to standard table control in IW51

Hi,
I have added 4 custom fields to the standard table QMEL through the structure CI_QMEL .
In transaction IW51 there is a table control as show in the screenshot below.
The 4 custom fields which i have added in the standard table should also be added to this table control.
Can this achieved by making adjustments in SPRO settings or can it be acheived technically by using some exit?

Adding new fields is not possible, but custom subscreens can be added.
Check enhancements QQMA0001 (subscreen for notification header) and QQMA0008 (subscreen for additional data).

Adding a field to Standard table through Structure

Hi everybody,
I need to add a field to standard table, I am using one append structure in that i am adding my field , But whenever I am activating the structure, I am not able to activate, It is getting as "PARTLY/ACTIVE" status for structure, so please help me in activating the structure.

goto se14
give the std table name
adjust and activate...
if the problem is not solved.......
see if the field is repeating twice in that Std table.....
if so delete the repeating fields....

Adding Custom fields to standard SAP-EBP application

Hi,
A functionality requires some custom fields to be added to the standard SAP-SRM EBP ( Manage business partners) application.
If I copy the whole BBP_VENDOR_CREATE program into a Z-program, and the BBPMAININT internet service to a Z-application, then would it be feasible??
Which is the best way to add custom fields in a SAP standard EBP application--in the 'Manage business partners' section.

I don't think it's easily possible to add custom fields to the existing transaction - BBPMAININT.
For adding customer fields you can refer the SAP OSS not - 672960, but I don't think it will be of much help here.
<b>Since SAP has not upgraded this transaction - BBPMAININT for a quite long time, you need to do all the logic and validation from your end.</b>
<u>Better to go for you own Z (custom program) and make your logic accordingly.</u>

Now whatever values I enter for the zfields(va02 ) must be saved in vbap table.
How do i do this?.
Should I write in MV45AIZZ .(PAI).

zfield in the program means the corresponding field name u have given for the newly added field in the table.
IN the layout u might have added some field ad have given some name (I/O) field name.

Adding Z-Fields to Standard Screens of Transaction VA01 / VA02 / VA03

Hi All,
The system is being upgraded from 4.7 to ECC 6.0
In 4.7 server, the client has added 2 Z-fields to VBAK table. Moreover, these Z-fields are added to Standard SAP Screens of Transactions VA01 / VA02 / VA03.
One of the Z-field is for the Description which appears on the very first screen of transaction (Screen 4440) replaces the Standard SAP Screen Field VBAK-KTEXT.
The other Z-Field appears on Header-->Additional Data B (Screen 8309).
Please note:- The screen numbers that are mentioned above are the screen numbers of ECC 6.0
I tried to change the edit the Screen by taking the Access Key from the market place, but only got Screen Overlapping Errors.
What should I do to incorporate these Z-fields?
I have heard of Screen-exits but never worked on the same. Would appreciate if someone guides me as to what needs to be done.

We had the same requirement but for Additional Data B in header and item
For this
(1) Got the access key
(2) applied access keys
(3) In the additonal Data B screens/Program SAPMV45A imported Z fields to the screen in Graphical painter,saved and activated after writing necessary PBO/PAI modules and the codes in 8309 and 8310 screens
Please can you tell more on the "Screen Overlapping Errors"
Maybe we can can work out the error.....

Error in adding a field to standard datasource

R/3 Side:
I'm trying to add an field KDAUF to the standard datasource "2LIS_03_UM" from the transaction code LBWE.
I'm getting the following error,
Struct. from appl. 03 due to open V3 proc. not changed -> Long text
Message no. MCEX140
Diagnosis
Changing the extract structure MC03UM0 of application 03 is not allowed as there are no V3 update entries for the update module MCEX_UPDATE_03.
If an extract structure is changed for which there are still open V3 updates, these can no longer be updated and the V3 collective update is terminated.
Procedure
Start the V3 update using the "Job Control" function in the customizing cockpit (transaction yDS:TRAN.LBWE>LBWE) or delete those update entries that are already incorrect. You will find these in the update overview.
I've deleted the delta queue form RSA7, deleted the data in setup tables, deleted from LBWQ and also from SM13.
But still i'm getting the same error.
Kindly help me in solving this error.

Have you followed the path:
LBWE >>> Click on "Job Control" >>> Click on "Job Overview"
If yes, then in the next screen you will find the list of all the job in various states, e.g. Scheduled, Released, Ready, Active, Completed.
In your case, the relevant job should be "LIS-BW-VB_APPLICATION_03_***". Select the one with status as Released.
Also try verifying the same in sm37.

Adding custom fields to CN41 Transaction code

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to display few SAP standard fields (like VORN1 from AFABD structure) in CN41 transaction code. I modified the custom include structure CI_PROJ in table PROJ. When I ran CN41 tcode, this field doesn't show up in the layout list. But I can see the same feild in CN42 transaction code. Can anyone advise what is the difference between CN41 & CN42 and how this field to be shown in CN41?
Also, can some one advise, if SAP will take care by itself to fill the data since it is standard field or do we have to write any custom code in user exit?
Finally, can anyone explain me the difference between Structure Overview & Project Definitions?

But SAP gave us a provision to modify the custome structures CI_PROJ or CI_PRSP etc so that we can add the fields here. My question was, I am able to see these fields in CN42 tocde but not in CN41. Is there a way, that I can display the fields fromm CI_PROJ onto CN41 report?
And for second part, I thoguht, if I add the SAP standard fields from PSJ logical database, then SAP should update these fields automatically. I might be wrong on this.
Any ideas?

VL10A - adding selection field in standard screen

I have added two selection fields in General data tab like "Original Delivery date & Latest Delivery date".
In Resulting report Layout all data is displayed except these two new columns ("Original Delivery date & Latest Delivery date"). Please guide me where should I change the code to get the data in these two new columns. Any help is highly appreciated.

Adding Custom Fields in Standard View - How to save data to Table

Dear Experts,
One View is having UI elements from a standard table /RPM/ITEM_D. Added 2 custom fields in this table using enhacement. Now enhanced that standard View and added these 2 custom fields. When I am saving the application, these 2 fields values aslo should be saved. In the context all fields are present from table /RPM/ITEM_D except the custom one. Can you please help me out how to acheive this.

What you need to do is :
1) add these two new fields in the same context node where the field from table /RPM/ITEM_D are added.
2) in your UI , bind values to these new attributes.
If current application is using and BAPI / Class method to update the table ,
this new fields will also be passed to that bapi and will update table.

Adding extension fields on standard Sales Lead screen on cloud for customer

Hello Experts.
I have a requirement to include custom fields drop downs on Sales Lead layout. Also, apart from first drop down the values of others are driven dynamically by the runtime input values. I assume there are two ways to include the custom fields.
1. Using cloud studio, by creating a custom BO & then using extensibility explorer to enhance the standard screens.
2. By using the ADAPT funcitonality at the UI level.
While performing the method (1), I am not finding any option on existing standard lead screens as add extension field to section group. So I am not able to include my custom created field on UI.
While performing method (2), I have included the field in UI & have created a reference of extension field in studio as well but my query is how to use that field in other actions or events as rest of the drop down values are driven by this drop down.
Is there any other method to perform this task. Any sort of information is welcome.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion, I have performed the Method (2) and was able to add the fields on the standard UI. The issue was that the sales lead screen in standard repository was termed as 'COD_MarketingLead'. So, I was not looking in that with more insight. Now, my requirement is to perform a dynamic dropdown dependent on a previsouly selected value in a drop down. Do you have any insights in that, I am planning to use this approach which I just realized is penned by you only. Thanks for that as well.

The problem was solved,
But whan i was run iw59 the output is coming Properlay,
than i copy the program and modifiyed as u said the out put fields are all not displayed.
Some of the field only displayed,it is showing the status main of userinterface zriqmel20 missing.
but i copyed all the includes ,why it will shon like that,
please guide me what is problem.
