Adding a hyperlink to the email notification for leave approval

Hi All,
Is it be possible to have a hyperlink in the email notification that goes to the approver ( for a leave ) so that the approver can click on the link and be taken straight to the ESS/ MSS portal to approve/reject the leave request?

Basically you can modify the standard task too. Of course it is not recommended, but maybe it is not that bad, if you only need to modify the work item text (and the variables are already available in the container, so you don't need to do any additional bidnings and container elements (or do you?)).
Other options is that you take a copy of TS12300097 and a copy of the leave request worfklow template, and then do the changes to these copies. Then you just need to remember to also check the SPRO settings, that your copy of workflow is started instead of the standard workflow.

It depends on what you want to change. If you are just wanting to change the content without additional data from the Specification/Sourcing Approval, you can change the translations.

Hi Marina,
You need to configure (t.code is SWU3) SAP Workflow to sent mails' from SAP to to systems such as Outlook or Lotus Notes. Below links'a maybe very useful for you;

Approval procedure only alert authorizer. l thinking set an alert, however alert will not trigger on draft document...

Email Notifications for Collaboration Tasks are Not going to Lotus Notes

Hello Everyone,
Email Notifications for the Tasks in Collaboration are not going to Lotus Notes. We are working on EP 7.0 SP14 with external ITS and backend r/3 4.7.
I performed all the configuration activities that are suggested in the below wiki:

It was worked fine once for me when i perfomed the activities mentioned in the below thread:https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/thread?threadID=147316
But after restarting our Portal Server the Email Notifications for Collaboration Tasks are not coming.
Could any one please suggest that we need to do any other configurations.Thank you.

Hide the Email notification in Email icon

I configured 2 email Accounts in my ipad2
one for the Work.
Another for the personal Account(Gmail)
I like to hide the email notification for un-read mail from my personal account(Gmail) (Even if I fetch the data "Manually" from the advanced Option) and not for my Work Account.
Any help ..

When the email notifer comes up it says "e.g. 4 unread mess. really only 1 unread .. how to get more accuracy there

when the email notifer for my hotmail account appears in the bottom right corner, it will indicate for example 4 unread messages in your inbox...but in fact there may be only 1 or 2 unread even though there are still 4 messages in the inbox...how do I get the notifer to recognize the previously read emails, and only pick up the "new" ones?

Email Notification for substitutes.

Hi,
There are five active substitutes maintained for a user in the system.
The email notification for approval workitem of shopping cart goes to only one of the substitutes.
I cant figure out why the email notification does not go to the approver himself and also to other substitutes.
Could you kindly help me by giving your inputs ?

How do I restrict the email notification for a Shopping cart which requires only to be sent to the users depending upon the Purchase group assigned to the user.
At present the SC email notification approval is going for all the users.
Appreciate if any body can tell me how to configure this in SRM 7.0

Hi,
There is single user field filter in /SAPSRM/OFFLINEAPPROVALSEND program. If it is blank, all users are selected.
You can copy or enhance the program to handle Purchasing Group.
Add Purchasing Group input field and select users.

users as other task owners are receiving 5 emails notification for the same task in Sharepoint 2010. I have tried to add a 5 minutes delay on the other task owners workflow with no luck.any suggestions? Thanks

The Book confuses me. I still think assignment delay and leveling resources are the same. Here is the explanation from the book for the three concepts.
" Project offers two types of delays:
Leveling delay. This type of delay applies to tasks; it pushes out the start date for the task and all its resource assignments. It’s meant specifically for remov-ing resource overallocations. With the Leveling Delay field, you can remove
all leveling delays by choosing Resource➝Level➝Clear Leveling.
Assignment delay. This type of delay applies to a single assignment within a task. Suppose you have a security consultant coming in to help lock down your site. However, your employees have prep work to do before the consultant can get started.
You can assign everyone to the same “Try hacking into office” task but delay the consultant’s assignment by 5 days. "

When the new update from the CRA is recognized by the credit monitoring company. Depending on the company and what triggers new alerts.

Adding information in email notification of invoice approval workflow

We have a requirement to include additional information in the email notification sent by the workflow to the approver, like
1) Having Invoice Currency Code and PO Number in the header of the notification
2) Adding static text on the body.
3) Also need to add a sentence in the standard text which comes at the bottom of the notification and need to remove the extra RESULT region which is coming in the notification. (Highlighted in bold)
Please click on one of the following choices to automatically generate an E-mail response. Before sending the E-mail response to close this notification, ensure you have provided the reason for rejection within the quotes ‘ ‘ in the body of the email.
RESULT (needs to be removed)
RESULT: Approve Reject Request Information

Please open the desired workflow in the workflow builder.
--Open the particular Notification
-- Open the related Message.
-- Click on Add which allows you to change the Message context.
