ERecruiting: Issue with adding a new recruiter to userlist for support team

I am trying to add a new recruiter to the user list in Development environment , so that it can be transported to Production. The new user has been created in eRecruting Development box and has RCF_CAND_INT assigned to the id. When I try to add the id in " create user list" in SPRO, Iam getting an error ' no candidate cound be found for that id" (cl_hrrcf_candidate=>get failed
). What step am I missing here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you tell if the drives are at least spinning, so you know that at least they're getting power?
As a test, you could want to try the bay currently occupied by the boot drive. You know that bay is working, so if the new drive doesn't work there either - you'll have to boot the system from the Mac OS X installer disk, of course - then it would have to be something with the drives you're using, as unlikely as that sounds.
That's all I can think of. Perhaps someone else here (Hatter, for instance) will be able to offer additional suggestions.

Adding of new column in report for downpayment

Dear Experts,
We want to add column for downpayment in report S_ALR_87013019 for which we have created a new report with the help of GRR2, (report)602 - (Description)internal orders and have selected its sub category 60BU-001 - Budg/act/commitm, also we have created a new column for downpayment and have assigned valuation type - 61(Downpayment) and valuation - zero(Legal valuation).But while posting downpayment the report is not getting updatedwith the downpayment values. The internal order that is being created is a statistical order but even if real orders are assigned still the values are not getting displayed.
Please tell us the combination of valution type and valuation or any other characteristic that requires to be made for updating the downpayment column.

I just added a new computer and it did not download my bookmarks correctly. Folders were not created and no links except for the a"Unsorted Bookmarks" that seems to show most of my bookmarks.

I was able to add the new computer's browser with my sync key, but when I tried to sync, nothing appeared to happen. Unsorted Bookmarks shows a lot of links that are mine, but not all of them. Hard to tell, Unsorted Bookmarks is useless and I wish I could hide or get rid of it.

In case anyone else has this problem. I just went to the computer that has my complete set of bookmarks. Selected Options-Sync-Manage Account-Reset Sync-Replace all other devices with this computer's data and it worked. All bookmarks are now present on my newest machine.

Options for large XML file - downloading from the app hangs browser

I am using 5.6.3 in EBS.
My users want to create files that can be uploaded into another system. The system will take XML files so my original idea was to create a data definition and have the user simply save the xml output (using View XML option). A .rtf template is also required for a pdf output - a summary of what was sent in the extract. This idea worked fine until I got a large file (37+ MB) and the View XML crashed my browser. Other than moving the files to a directory on the server that my user has access to, is there any other way to get at that raw XML?

I have been doing some more reading and I am wondering if both an etext template and a pdf template would have been the better solution. This way I could submit once with the etext template and republish same data with the pdf template. Has anyone tried this successfully? I am not sure though that this would eliminate my problem with the large files (100,000+ records) crashing the browser. When you use an etext template, how do you get at that file? Is it using the 'View Output' button on Request Form or do I have the option to send it somewhere directly (i.e. server or email)?
Any tips would be appreciated.

Hi,
using etext, the text output will still be in the usual directory at $APPLCSF/$APPLOUT.
The text output will be smaller than the XML output so I'd be surprised if it still crashes your browser so you shouldn't need to get the XML.
What format is needed for the target system?

New Hard Drive and Referenced Files

I added a new, larger hard drive for all of my referenced files. Using the Finder, I copied the contents of the entire old hard drive to the new one, and kept the name of the drive the same. However, when using Aperture, it says the hard drive is offline. Is there an easy way to tell Aperture that this new hard drive, which has the same name as the old one, is the one that should be used?

You are exactly right, Mk Gonda. I did a little more research on the forum and found a post by Skeeterman. He said essentially the same thing. For anyone interested, here is the process I went through, step-by-step:
1. Under "Library", highlight "All Projects"
2. Go to "Edit" and then "Select All"
3, Go to "File" and select "Manage Referenced Files"
4. Select the "Offline" volume you want to reconnect.
5. Uncheck "Show Only Files Not Found" (this was a key for me - it let me see all of my files)
6. In the right pane of the upper part, select any image. You may need to press the "Update Selection in Browser".
7. The File Path description will identify an image and display the path on the right side of the window. Go to the bottom pane and go through the exact File Path as shown above to the final image. In other words, select the same photo in the top and bottom windows.
8. The "Reconnect All" button should become active. Select it and wait.
9. On one drive I reconnected 34,000 images and that took about 2.5 hours. I just reconnected another drive with 11,500 images it took about 45 minutes.

Application Path Member will be deleted after adding a new Application Path Member in another Application Path List

I expirienced the behaviour that the first item in the Application Path Member from a Application Path List will be deleted as far as the first item in the Application Path Member List will be selected in anather Application Path List without saving. This is according to severals peripherals as well.
Example:
Configuration Manager > Application Path List
In the Application Path List "McalMediaRouting" the following Application Path Members are configured.
For this example, the first Media Routing Domain for the Peripheral is Chat.
Now, adding a new Application Path Member for the Application Path List "SiebelMediaRouting" with a new Media Routing Domain, which is not yet assigned to a Application Path List.
Select the same Peripheral PG1A_CCM and choose the new MediaRouting from the list. At this point the Application Path Memeber with the Media Routing Domain "Chat" will be deleted in the Application Path List "McalMediaRouting". This will be deleted even without saving it.
UCCE Version 9.0.2 used.
Is this per design or is this a defect?

Syncing new computer with old music files with Iphone.

Hello all, recently I got a new computer and transfered all my old music files over and updated my itunes on my new pc. I also de-authorized my old pc and authorized my new pc. However, when I plug in my Iphone into my new computer it doesn't seem to be syncing at all. I've also added a new album to my music files on my new pc and since my iphone isn't syncing, the songs haven't shown up on my phone. I was wondering does anyone have a solution to this? or what I need to do to have my new pc syncing with my iphone?

When I click on internet explorer,(I use also w/ Firefox), a file download appears called firefox.exe preventing IE from opening

I use IE as well as firefox. When I click the icon for IE, A file download box appears called Firefox.exe. I cannot open IE because of it. When I select run, Firefox opens. When I select save, a Firefox icon appears on my desktop. When I click on that, I get an "application not found" message.

CSS Flexbox - a new layout method for web pages

As you may all know, css flexbox is a new layout method for laying out your web page, and with Firefox releasing version 22 within the next few days, (should have been yesterday) it is now no longer hidden behind browser settings. Add to this the fact that all desktop browser except IE10 and Safari 5 & 6, no longer require the use of a vendor prefix, and that http://html5please.com/ simply say ’USE’, flexbox is now finally a viable layout alternative, especially for responsive layouts.
Flexbox has been available on all Android and iOS devices, (and any device using the webkit engine, e.g. new blackberry’s and Kindle Fire devices) since they were first release.
To help find problems, and provide help in using flexbox, we would be grateful if you would experiment and provide feedback in the use of flexbox for layouts.
To help you get started a video tutorial, (with files to download) and examples of layouts, (more to be added next week) and tips & tricks to help with some of the more common problems have been provided at http://flexboxlayouts.com/. Yes I know, and this is why I am asking people to experiment with flexbox.
The fix for IE10 is to give the right hand sidebar, (or the content) a larger flex-grow property, the bug is caused by the flex shorthand property not recognizing % values, and using the flex-basis as a set width instead of a preferred size.
I have logged the bug, (and many others) with the various browser bug bases.
This and other bugs, do have 'fixes', so I hope users will experiment with flexbox and provide feedback.
Flexbox is no different than any other css feature, "we can only find the problems in actual use".
Strangely enough, I have found the most consistent to use is the old 2009 implementation on mobile devices, (no doubt iOS7 will change all that ).

New Crystal Report Layout 2008 for Checks for Payment

I just created a new Check for Payment Layout in CR2008 for SBO. When I print it from CR2008, it prints ok. The situation is when I print from SBO. A message appears (Neither the system nor the account has a printing definition. , '11-201-013874-5' [Message 65030-7]) but shows the preview ok. When I print it, it turns 90 degrees and is centered in the page.
I has a special Page size (14cmx19cm) and a dot matriz printer (Epson 300+II) Only fron SBO does it change the page orientation. What can I do ?

2 Things in my mind now:
1, try dissociating the page in CR page setup
2, dot matrix printing support is till 8.8 (or 8.81?) is only available to like 3-4 types, check the compatibilty!
(3, file a message to SAP, i have almost the same problem with an eticket printer.. maybe if more of us complain they ramp up the importance of non a/4 printing)
Hope you don't need to redo from scratch in PLD as i had to...

Adding new element to BPEL for use in PL SQL type, has binding errors

Figured I might as well post this here since I haven't gotten a single reply in 3 days anywhere else :/
I have a BPEL service that calls a PL SQL procedure. I have added a new element to the BPEL called quote_cart_line.
All I had to the BPEL to accomplish this was edit 3 files -

Unfortunately, in your case, there isn't really a way to separate them as far as I can think.
You could try restoring from a backup, and choosing an older backup perhaps

I want to create a new folder on my external hard drive for photos. Even though I added the new folder button to the tool bar it is not highlighted so I cannot click on it to create a new folder on this drive.

I have an external hard drive that I would like to pre-make a new folder before I import photos into it. Even though I added the new folder app to by toolbar, it is not highlighted and I cannot use it. It will only let me create new folders if I upload to iPhoto. That is not where I want to store everything. So I need to figure out how to turn on or activate New Folder on my toolbar for all possible downloading options.

If it's a drive that you've previously used with a PC, just double-check the format - click the drive once on the desktop to highlight it, and click cmd-i (the command key and the i key together) to see the Info window. That will tell you, under Format, how it's formatted.
If it's "NTFS", that's the current Windows format. You can read but not write to it with a Mac. If you want full read/write access, you should look into Paragon NTFS, which allows you to do both. Note that some features of te Mac (Time Machine, for example) will only work with Mac-formatted drives.
