Adding a new target through EMCLI in 11g

I am looking for a way to target weblogic domains through the command line interface. I also need to be able to set the agent property. Is this possible?

Best Practice Adding New Target to Namespace and Replication

Hi,
whats the best way to add a new target to Namespace and replication. Goal is to replace a old file Server at the end.
I did the following:
- copied the share with robocopy incl timestamps of files and folders
- created share
- added the new share as a new target as well as meshd member of the replication connection
- disabled the new member in the Namespace, so no one can Access it until dfsr is fully done and initialized
After the the new dfsr Connection was replicated through AD to all 4 Members (3 different site, 1 same site) the
following happend:
dfsr begin and almost every file was in a conflicted and copied over the the Conflict Folder. Almost all timestamps
of the Folders were changed to the current date, but the timestamps of the files not.
Thousands of eventlogs: 4412
The DFS Replication service detected that a file was changed on multiple servers. A conflict resolution algorithm was used to determine the winning file. The losing file was moved to the Conflict and Deleted folder.
Any idea why? Later on i disabled the Connections to the remote Fileservers, but that did not stop it.
My idea was to pre-seed the files with robocopy. So what would be the best way to prevent that for the next share ? Is it a better way to just add the target to a bi-directional Connection to the local Fileserver without adding to DFS-N and without copying
the files before ? Is it better to let DFSR do the hole Initial sync incl Files ?
At the end i have no loss of date but to check almost every file for conflict took Ages to finish.

The steps you performed are correct - compare with waiting for DFS initial replication, a manually pre-staging is recommended.
When doing the Robocopy step, wether all attributes are copied such as NTFS permissions?
After robocopy, you can add that folder as a folder target of DFS replication group - you can add it to DFS namespace after replication finished.
And if it is a Windows 2012 R2, you can prestaging DFS database for a better result.

I lost the lan ethernet connection of an older windows 7 pc to my 3 Terabyte router when adding a new local printer to the pc. How do i set this up again so the PC is recognized and can get to the internet again through the time capsule?

I recently added a new printer to a 2005 vintage PC that is running windows 7. It used to go through a router in my wifes upstairs office to the time capsule by wired ethernet (cat5) but when I added her new local printer thought I would network it, big mistaked, lost all my ethernet connection and she cannot get to the internet. Wireless not an option. How do i set up again the ethernet connection and i will only USB the printer locally this time for the windows pc?
Tried windows diagnostics, and besides telling me to reset everything and turn router off and on etc. I am in an endless loop.
Other Mac products are not impacted by this issue.

I see no direct connection.. a printer and the computer setup for internet are not related.
But it sounds like the router in the wife's office is now in the wrong mode..
If you have an existing main router replace the second router for a switch .. that is the easy way.
Otherwise you need to bridge the router if it has that option.. most do not. Or use wan bypass.. where you turn off the dhcp server in the router and fix its ip to match the range of the main router.. this is the hassle of using router as a switch.
BUT I am making a huge number of assumptions.
What I need is the full network layout.. a quick picture would help.
I need main modem.. main router.. (maybe same box or different).. make model and current IP address and how dhcp is setup.
I need secondary router.. if that is what it is, IP and settings.
I want the printer type and model. How it is connected.
BTW I much prefer to see a network printer plugged into the network rather than usb.. it is only a matter of sorting the IP settings and driver pointing to the network rather than local.
Or you should think of it as a broken washing machine and call the technician.. who could fix the whole lot in an hour.

I was unable to reproduce the behavior that you saw. I was able to deploy my application with the Linear Fit PtByPt without issues.
Could you attach the smallest piece of code that reproduces this behavior so that I can test it as well?

Error while using new fields added to Web UI through AET

Hi,
I have added three new fields in CRM Web UI of data type 'Numerical' in component BP_ADDR in object ACCOUNT.
But when creating a new account, when I enter a number(say 10) and then press the ENTER key, the number disappears and a zero(0) is displayed in the field.
Now when I again key in the number, it stays and is saved.
Can somebody tell me is there any particular reason for this or while during field generation, I have missed out some entry that needs to be maintained. Please guide me on this.

Thanks a lot for your quick response.
We have added the following fields: No. of Company Owned Cars, No. of Employees and No. of Employee Owned Cars.
These fields can also be added in some other component, not necessarily BP_ADDR but that does not make any difference.
I have checked that the standard address fields are filled in correctly in the first round of entry itself.
Can you please suggest in which object should we add these fields, BUPA or ACCOUNT?

Adding a new FWSM context through CSM

I have a Multi-Context FWSM ver 4.0 and a CSM ver 3.3.1 to manage it.
I need to know is there any know issue when creating a new context through the CSM UI !!!
By the way, the devices (FWSM and CSM) user accounts are managed by an ACS ver 4.2

For known open bugs list affecting this version, you can check the release notes:

from that list, i see CSCtd60804 affects 4.0.1 . this can be a problem if you are deploying to an active/active setup.

Error while adding a new method to the Session Bean

Hello everyone. I'm using jdev 11g, ejb, jpa & jsf. Everything works fine. But when I try to add a custom method to the Session Bean, I'm having an error.
Here is my steps:
1) I added a new method to SessionBean.java. Something like this:

2) Then using Structure palette I exposed this method through Local interface and created data control
3) Finally, I made a command button binded to this method (just droped it from DataControls.dcx to my page)
When I start the page and click the button, I'm having the following error:

Adding a new account in Team Foundation Server

I have a problem with adding of new accounts into Team Foundation Server 2010. I can add a new domain account into group Contributors of my team project without problems but after that I can't see it in the list of available accounts, for example, in the
drop down list 'Assigned To' at a work item page.
The added user can see the project, do check-in and check-out but he can't get access to the project work items. He has got an error
TF201072: A user or group could not be found. Verify that the users and groups used in your work item type definition have been added to Team Foundation Server.
Can anybody help me?

We don’t recommend to edit the TFS database(s) directly, it may cause the unknown issues.
To edit data in TFS Server, we should edit the data through VS, Web Access, TF command or TFS API. Unless there’s an official SQL Server script to edit TFS data which provided by MS.
As you edited the dbo.Constants table to update user’s data, but the user’s data also included in other
TFS tables too, there’s the key connection relationships between these tables, if we update this user’s data in Web Access, TFS Sever will update this user’s data in all the related tables automatically. But you manually edited this user’s data only
in dbo.Constants table, so the edited data not included in other related tables, it may cause the current issue.

I registered my new iPhone 5s to my usual Apple ID, however it isn't showing in my devices when I log in. I tried to register it by adding a new device, but it tells me it's already registered to a different Apple ID. I'm really not sure how to fix this.

I only have the one Apple ID and the phone is brand new, purchased directly from Apple.
When I check on the phone itself (iCloud and App Store settings) the Apple ID is correct. I'm not sure where else to check.
Whilst setting up the phone, it prompted me to register, which I did. Then when connecting to my laptop through iTunes it prompted me again so I registered again. I even got a confirmation email to the email address associated with my Apple ID that the registration was successful.
How can I add my iPhone 5s to the list of devices on the correct Apple ID?

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact AppleCare(or Apple ID Support), upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.

Adding field GAMNG ( Target Quantity )in the Data Source 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL

We are adding field GAMNG ( Target Quantity ) in the Data Source 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL ( Work Center View from PP/PP-PI )
The field GAMNG is available in the communication structure maintainace.
The problem is- We are not able to drag & drap field GAMNG from the Communication structure LBWE. Getting the error - End phase 002 ***********************************************************
Message no. D0322 ..
We deleted Setup table , Meins field already exist in comm str.
1. How we able to drag the field from the communication structure as getting the above error. We searched SDN & try to follow that method but not working.
2. We can add the field in SE11 - Structure -Manually, then we have to write ABAP code.
Kindly suggest correct answer.

Hi,
There could be a number of reasons why you are getting the error:
1. Fields are not assigned to datatypes.
- Check structure in SE11 and assign to datatypes.
2. There are inactive appends in the extract structure.
- Double-click one of the includes. You will get a new screen with the INCLUDE structure. Click the button append-structure. Check if the append is inactive.
3. The appended structure is in a different development class from the one of the structure it is being appended to.
Please review and apply the following notes carefully :
766603 Activation problems with extract structures
623411 LBWE: Gener. terminates with D0 322 (end phase 002)
757923 LBWE: Generation terminates with D0 322 (end phase
600708 D0 322: End phase 002
It is not possible to enhance the datasource 2lis_04_MATNR with the field GAMNG (so its possible that its the same for 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL) because GAMNG has the reference field AMEIN, which has a STATE F (forbidden) in table TMCEXCFS .
Check to see if this is the same on your system.

Serialization Error after adding a new field to BPM Process

I have a BPM Process to which I added a new attribute userid and consuming the BPM process in a web dynpro application, I created a model using the BPM Process's Web Service but getting a serialization error that the model does not have a mandatory field with name [userid]. see below.
FYI.. I can trigger my BPM process through the Web Service in wsnavigator , the error I am getting is while executing the BPM Process from the custom webdynpro.
Any idea how to resolve the issue?

Cannot update new field through SharePoint properties on re-pubished InfoPath form

Hello,
I would truly appreciate any help with this problem. I've searched the forum for answers to this issue, but none of the ones I've found seem to
apply.
We are using SharePoint 2007.
When I re-publish a form with a new field, I am unable to modify that new field through SharePoint properties on older forms. I have tried re-linking the old forms but that does not resolve the issue. I can re-create this problem consistently in new
and old InfoPath form libraries.
Here are the latest steps I have taken to re-create the error:
Created Form Library called Error Testing.
Created new form (from blank template) with three data fields in the data source: name, occupation and address.
Added section and all fields onto the form.
Published form to Error Testing library. All fields were promoted and selected the “Allow users to edit data in this field by using a datasheet or properties page” option.
Created and saved Form 1 in library with no issues.
Opened edit properties and was able to modify and save the content in all three fields.
Added a new field to the form template: City.
Published form to Error Testing library. The original fields, and the new field were promoted and selected the “Allow users to edit data in this field by using a datasheet or properties page”
option.
Created and saved Form 2 in library with no issues.
Opened edit properties in Form 2 and was able to modify and save the content in all three fields.
Opened edit properties in Form 1, modified all fields and got the following message when I tried to save:
"Changes could not be saved into the document. The property to change is read-only for the document's content type, or the document is missing XML elements or attributes where
the changes would be saved. Try editing the document in a Windows SharePoint Services-compatible XML editor such as MicroSoft Office InfoPath."
Modified each field one at a time and determined the field I could not edit and that was causing the error message was
the new City field.
I re-linked Form 1 and got same error message when I tried to modify the City field.
I opened Form 1 entered the city and saved.
The content of the city field appears in the SharePoint column and I am able to edit the content through the Edit Properties field.
This is an issue when we run a workflow that tries to update the new field on an old version of an InfoPath form.

You can certainly add the fields manually by using SharePoint Designer, but a more effective way to Open the form template in "Design Mode" Click "Tools" and then "Form Options" Choose "Versioning".
InfoPath defaults to not Upgrade forms automatically. If different versions are not a historical issue for this solution, then Change the default to "Automatically Upgrade Old Forms". Then republish form... The Next time you open a from in
the library with this content type it will upgrade the old forms in the library.

Session logoff with new target url using BSP_MODEL template

Hi,
I implemented the session management pages as used in ITSM. However I had some problems when calling the application in a popup (somehow the deletion of the session appears also after the 2nd start of the app deleting all my created models)
So I decided to try the slightly different pages from BSP_MODEL. Et voila problem solved.
However I have this button with:
onClientClick = "parent.exitBSPApplication( '<%= l_url %>');"
So a new problem because this is not used in the BSP_MODEL default.htm.
What did I do
1. I added a parameter to the script like in ITSM
function exitBSPApplication(newTargetUrl)
2. Copied 2 lines from the ITSM script
document.getElementById("FRAMESETID").onunload = null;
window.setTimeout('{document.location.href="'newTargetUrl'";}', 750);
This would do the trick I thought. However pressing the button results in going to the new target url, but sadly does not close the session.
I already tried to delete the 'and application->counter = 0' but this is not working either.
Any suggestions?

It is important not to look directly at all the subtle different bits of code. Rather understand the big picture. Our test programs, for example ITSM and/or BSP_MODEL have different versions of the general principle. This just reflects different goals we wanted to achieve, etc.
The minimum you need is a frameset with onUnload hooked, and then load you application inside this. You can even delete all of that loading stuff. Just fluff.
With this, if the window (only IE!) is closed, the onunload will still terminate the session.
The button is just to demonstrate an example of how to do this when you want an explicit logoff button in your application.
One last important aspect: if you restart the same application, then they share the same cookie, and things go wrong! Effectively you can kill the new instance instead of the old one.
