I am trying to add another page to one of my files so I can print it all out at once instead of one at a time and I can not figure it out...please help

hello i have similar problem
i create six separate pdf documents to have a price list
i assemblate them to print as this follow  page1 and in recto i print the page2
then the page3 with the page4  and final page5 with page6
but now i want put all my six different pdf files in only one unic document
to have only one price list that can be viewed
in original these six different pages are created with microsoft office 2007 and files as .doc & .docx
then converted as export pdf

    Error can occur in these cases.
    1) You copied the first page to second. and later you change the width of second page
    2) You created the second page and there is template in second page. each column width is not matching with the total width of the template.
    3) windows width is greater than the page width

  • How to keep the SAME position of layout on left & right pages when adding a page?

    A little background first before I ask the question:
    I've been converting a PowerPoint document to the InDesign format, and adding pages as I go through by duplicating a page in order to keep the top description text in the same position at the top left hand side. The document is over 110 pages- more pages will be added soon, and some pages deleted. Basically the presentation will be printed as a book, and the client we are designing this presentation for sent us the master pages for the layout.
    The issue I'm now having: I had to delete an odd number of pages which caused a shift of the layout of pages throughout the document after the pages I deleted. I figured that the right hand page was not aligned the same as the right hand page, so I measured in the same distance from the left edge on both pages and made the adjustments. But then when I added a page, the alignment shifted again.
    Is this an issue with the master pages? Or is this another issue? Any idea how to fix this so that the pages are aligned the same whether I add or delete a page? I've included two screen grabs to better illustrate what is happening:

    Those are your margin guides, and your client evidently expects the margins to be larger on the outside of the page than at the spine. Putting the text frame that says Main Building... on the master page will not only save you having to enter it each time, but will let you put it where it should be and have it stay there when pages switch sides. Your images are going to seem to shift, too, unless they are centered on the page on the horizontal axis.
    I'm sensing you really have little or no experience using ID, and some basic training would probably help you quite a bit. I'll recommend Sandee Cohen's Visual Quickstart Guide to InDesign -- best book out there for beginners.

  • How to open image added to Pages doc in Preview app?

    Hello,
    Anyone know hot to open images added to Pages in preview app on Mac? When I click on any image with right mouse button I have in menu these options - "Open in Pixelmator and Capture selection from screen".
    I tried to make my own Automator service "Open img in Preview" and it work well in Finder and other apps (I selected it in Automator option to work in all apps) but this service is not show in Pages > Services.
    Anyone know how to fix it or how to make this service visible in Pages? I tried to found "Open in Pixelmator" workflow on my Mac to rewriting or save my "Open img in Preview" workflof into same folder but no chance. In (Library > Services etc)

    I don't know how Pixelmator created their Service, but I suspect it involves programming that is beyond my abilities.
    The following AppleScript will copy the selection in Pages and open a new preview window from the clipboard. It could be run as a Service with Automator. (It will also leave the image on the clipboard; if that is a problem, it could probably be modified, but I didn't get that sophisticated with it.)

The whole project was gone, the undo menu was grayed out and there was nothing in the iPhoto trash about my Book.
    Surly I can find this if I knew the path to find the project in a library on a back column I have of my hard drive.. Could anyone help me?

    Sorry I'm having a hard time getting this.
    If I go to my hard drive BIGMAC>Library>Application Support>iPhoto>the only thing in this folder is Themes.
    However, when I "Get Info" it's 580MB for 24,421 items. iPhoto says I have 35,977 photos. I would think the database would be into the GB for this many photos.
    If I go to BIGMAC>system>Library>I find nothing about iPhoto
    Is the iPhoto file in the Application Support the one I need to replace with my backup?

    I am using EP5 (5.06.01.00). After adding a page to a role, the properties of the page in the role no longer include the field "Location of Linked Object". The properties now only consist of two fields: "Name" and "Location". They used to contain a third field "Location of Linked Object", in fact, in older roles the page properties still contain this field. However, when I now add pages to a role or workset, this third property field "Location of Linked Object" is not there. - I am adding the page by clicking the "Add" button to move a page from the "View" area to the role in the "Edit" area. - I have been observing this symptom for several months, but I can not identify any configuration changes or upgrades which would have caused this behavior.
    All hints will be greatly appreciated.

    folder in (from what it looks like) Z:\ToExport\RepDocs\ that is
    the new folwer name, ex:

    it looks like

    currently there is no provision to set page titles in page heirearchy.
    Same topic has been discussed earlier on -Re: Multi language portal
    You can very well set the page titles in navigation model and in page level also through af:document tag.

  • Adding blank pages

    I need to add a blank page (between 3 & 4) to my 109 page narrative with photos interspersed on the pages.
    How can I do that?  I have tried adding a "blank page" suggested in 'sections'.  But it only added a page at the end.

    Not sure which word processor you are using but they generally work the same way.  Move the cursor to where you want to end page 3.  Ususally under the Edit menu you can select Insert > Page Break.  Then hit return a couple times and insert another page break.

    You could try to update your system to 10.4.11. That is the system requirement for iWork'09.

    I used to have twelve pages in my book but when I added two pages to my booklet InDesign added in two blank pages with one of them being on the back cover. Is there a way to keep the page that should be on the back cover on the back?

    It should, but you must set the print dialog in the setup to include blank pages. Sounds like you've added your pages, but they are not being included, so ID thinks it's still a 14-page file.

  • Using Version ES4 Livecycle added master page

    Using Version ES4 Livecycle added master page and now the master page is showing on PDF view as a blank page. How to remove?

    There is probably a better way to do this, but I found a work around.  I set the fields on the master page to "Use Global Data" in the Binding tab.  This means that the value for that field will be the same for any field with the same name.  Then, on my main page, I have a hidden field with the same name that I can populate with ColdFusion and the value will also show in the master page.
    If anyone has a more elegant way to do this, please respond.  I am new to LiveCycle and I'm sure there are a lot of features that I am not aware of that could help me.

  • Help!! adding new pages to doc with logo!!!

    I've posted various questions for a couple hours now, none are answered.  Is everyone sleeping or does no one know how to use Pages??  I'm near tears and I've read the manual about 10 times and don't understand it.  I've tried to Google it but I'm not even sure what exactly to Google.
    I have an 18 page document in Pages.  It's just a plain old word processing document.  A list of Gluten Free restaurants in my area.  I add new restaurants to this list all the time so it needs to re-order itself as it does as a plain word processing document.
    I want to brand it more so I'm putting my logo and a little design in the bottom left corner of each page, or at least thats how I'd like it to look.
    So I set up page one, saved it as a template, captured it, done everything I can think of. But when I copy the document and paste it into the text boxt on the first page of the new document with the little logo on the page, all the subsequent pages do NOT have that logo on them.  Just the first page. 
    IF I set up 18 pages with the logo, and then paste it just adds 17 blank pages after that first page with the logo.  And those 17 pages that I set up prior to pasting are after the pages it added after the paste that have no logo.
    How do it get this to add a page with the logo in the corner??
    So when I add 5 new restaurants and it has to add a page to fit them it it will have that logo.  This can't be that hard to do.  I need the doucment to automatically add new pages when text is add and those pages need to have the logo,
    Please help me!!!

    I'm sorry you think that Peter and it isn't true.  Maybe you are testy because its 2 am.
    I spent hours trying to figure it out on my own.  I looked all over these forums, I Googled it, I went to other Apple tips and forums I am familar with, went thru the manual.  I tried a lot of places first so I really don't think I'm demanding and I'm sorry if I came off that way. 
    I was just super frustrated.  Not being very computer savvy can be super frustrating, often I find what I "think" might be the answer for something I'm looking for and I can't even understand the answer.  I try, I follow the steps but some of the terms I don't know and then have to google and follow more steps and blah blah. 
    I'm sorry but I didn't just come here without doing research first for the answer, so its not fair to say I expected others to do the work for me.  I did try.  I agree the information here us beyond useful, I never could have done anything without out in the past, I've used it many times.  But you can shoot the messenger if you want but the response time does seem slower.  Not sure why you take that personally.
