Adding add-ons to Acrobat 10.0.0

How do i add add-ons to acrobat 10.0.0? The reason I ask is because i cannot see .doc documents in the browser to merge multiple files into one PDF file. I can do this on another 32bit XP machine with the same acrobat 10.0.0 installed. The only difference between the two installs is the amount of addons installed.
I've installed the ''Adobe Acrobat 10.0.1 Pro and Standard update - Tier 1 languages'' update but I'm not 100% sure what that does. I'm unsure whether to try installing ''Adobe Acrobat 11.0.02 Pro and Standard update - All languages'' (the latest update from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows)
There is also something at the bottom of the above mentioned page under a title called 'ADD-ONS' called ''Adobe Customization Wizard XI'', again, I'm unsure which one to install.
I've also tried allowing it to update automatically but the setting keeps reverting to 'do not auto update'.
Any help would be appriciated.

I’ll get some better screenshots and get back to you. I’m fairly sure that there is not an option to select ‘all files’ only ‘All Supported Formats’.

    You can access the service by launching a browser and navigating to cloud.acrobat.com:
    STEP1: Log into Cloud.acrobat.com with your Adobe ID and Password
    STEP 2: Click on the ExportPDF Tab
    STEP 3: Click the blue "Select Files to Export Button"
    STEP 4: If your file is on your computer make sure "My Computer" is selected on the left.
    Otherwise, if you already uploaded your file to Acrobat.com, make sure "Acrobat.com" is
    selected on the left
    STEP 5: Click the "Choose Files from My Computer" button and navigate to where you PDF file is
    that you wish to Export to word.
    STEP6: Click the Export to Word Button
    STEP7: Once the progress bar shows that the export operation is complete, click the Download
    button to download your file.
    Note: If your file is already uploaded to Acrobat.com, then click on the files tab:
    Click the box to the left of the file that you wish to Export to word.
    Click on Export PDF at the top
    Follow STEPS 6 and 7 above
    You can also access the service on your iPhone or iPad by first downloading the Reader Mobile app on itunes:

    The ExportPDF service is accessible from within the Adobe Reader Mobile app.
    A third way to access your ExportPDF subscription is via the Adobe Reader desktop app.
    Simply launch Adobe Reader Desktop and click on Tools on the right hand pane. You will see the ExportPDF tab under Tools.

    There were a couple issues with Zones in development where we'd see this, AFAIK they've been resolved. If still having this issue could you reply with the OS Rev and output of es-validate?

    It's no skin off your teeth? Ummm... I think you mean no skin off my nose, teeth don't have skin. Most of your sentences don't make sense, it takes some thinking to figure what you meant. As far as your issue, thanks for explaining it further (that information would have been perfect i the 1st post) that is what I assumed and even the thread i directed you to said it's normal for the windows box to open.
    You take wasting time poorly? I find that hard to believe, because you're spending a lot of time to give me a hard time, I didn't use language (care to point the words out?).

    Downloaded firefox 4 for mac yesterday. Working fine until I started adding add-ons/extensions. Since then, any attempt to manage add-ons or extensions crashes Firefox and requires a force quit.

    Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
    * Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

    Maybe if you read about privacy, policy and sharing of data you'd change your mind. But it was reported that it appeared to work if you used something like the "Add-ons Compatibility Reporter".
    You can force 5.0 "compatibility" with the "[https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/ Add-on Compatibility Reporter]" extension, or with [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Extensions.checkCompatibility extensions.checkCompatibility] using about:addons.

    Norton updates frequently, so that should not be a big problem. If you run LiveUpdate several times, you likely can get a compatible toolbar. http://community.norton.com/blogs/product-update-announcements/firefox-32-support-norton-toolbar
    The Adobe "Create PDF" extension is a more complicated issue. If you are stuck with version 1.2 (perhaps the last update available with Acrobat X?), this thread might be relevant: [https://support.mozilla.org/questions/999499 Firefox 29 broke Adobe Acrobat - Create PDF 1.2]. However, for security reasons, it would be better to try to figure out how to get it to work with Firefox 32.

    From the "Re-initializing the plugins database" article, and progressing to the "Open Containing Folder," but unable to select File and Exit menu, I did locate "Adobe Acrobat" version 10.0.0.396
    which showed all seven applications "enabled." This problem is with Firefox only. Internet Explorer functions normally.

    If you want adobe acrobat pdf files to open in firefox you need an acrobat plugin, have you checked that is installed and enabled.

    Problem was solved!!! I had the same problem with one of Norton Internet Security's add-on, so I contacted Symantec (Norton) using their live chat session. The tech took remote control of my computer, and within a few minutes, he solved the Norton problem. He also solved my Adobe toolbar problem in the process!! All he did was to go into IE Internet Options, and under the ADVANCED tab, he cleared the checkmark next to "Enable Enhanced Protected Mode". This is different from the "Enable Protected Mode" which is listed under the SECURITY tab (which is what I had tried to do unsuccessfully). After applying the change, and restarting IE, the Adobe add-ons were listed as "Disabled", instead of "incompatible". Selecting the add-ons, and pressing "Enable", brought the toolbar back.

    Check The Word/ Excel Prefs. The Add-ins may simply not be activated.

    I have several computers throughout my house and work, but mainly use my "Desktop-MAIN. " I frequently add different add-ons, scripts, extensions, etc. as the need for one arises. When the time comes that I am using my laptop in bed, or my sons computer in the den (whatever) I find that they are missing many of the cute doodads I have become accustomed to on MY desktop computer. In Firefox I used FEBE backup, which would backup EVERYTHING, including extensions, add-ons, etc. I just had to take it to my other computers and run FEBE, import the backup file and "whala!" My browser had all of the add-ons and things that my main computer had - w/o having to manually add each one.

    Just connect the new iPod to your computer and setup the iPod via iTunes (instead of via wifi).
