Adding AM/PM to time

I know this is hardly the most important questioned asked here but I have always had an issue getting AM/PM to display on the menu bar, 10.5 is still no different to all the other OSX systems. What am I doing wrong, the display AM/PM check but is always greyed out, I've gone to International settings and created a custom clock setup but it still does not work. Can some solve this for me once and all.

According to your description, you get this error when processing cube. Right?
As the error message mentioned, a table based on a named query cannot contain computed columns. If you create a computed column in this table, it will throw this error. In this scenario, please go to the DSV and check if that table is set up with named query.
You can replace it with a DimTable in your database.

Adding minutes to a time in java.

What i want to do is add some minutes to "time".

Go to SE09, Give ur user name and check for the request & the date that u raised. Simply delete that request and create a new one....

When will there be fix for AirPrint in Yosemite? I cannot use my HP printer. I have uninstalled/resinstalled everything you can think of. I have deleted and added my printer more time than I can count. I have checked for updates. Nothing has worked.

When will there be fix for AirPrint? Since upgrading to Yosemite I cannot print from my MacBook Air which I use mostly. (I can print from the my old 2005 G5 desktop and iPad2 just fine on the same network.) I could print just fine when I had Mavericks. I have tried EVERYTHING under the sun: resetting print system, deleting and adding the printer, checking for updates, uninstalling and reinstalling printer software and folders, turning off modem, router etc. NOTHING works.
The laptop shows that it is printing but nothing happens. Then it says it cannot locate the printer or there is a broken pipe. But it does tell me that I have a low level in one of the ink cartridges (which is true.)
Help! I have warned everyone I know not to upgrade. Is there a way to go back to Mavericks?

Adding a new 2Tb Time Capsule to a home network

Greetings. I have a 2-story home with a basement. Currently, the wireless network is based on a 2003 A1034 Airport extreme, with an AExpress on one floor, and an older airport in the basement. I've now purchases a 2Tb Time Capsule with 802.11n. Is there any benefit to starting over with the Time Capsule as the master router, or can I just add it into the current network and have it backup the computers as it is? It took me a long time to figure out the way to link the Airports, and I'm sort of afraid to start over if there's no speed benefit. We have the high-speed ATT UVerse internet. I hope my question makes sense, and I'm grateful for any input.

You should put the TC in as the main router.. but only do this if you can still access it via gigabit ethernet or N wireless.. for backups.. if you do backups via G wireless it will take forever.. G wireless is fine for the internet.. but lousy for local lan traffic.

Adding Marker to the time line

I want to add markers to the entire video on the time line but i have alot of scenes over 100 i want to mark the scenes at the begaining
can this be done with out doing this one at a time
is there a add on like vegas pro are can i do it in cs5 or encore

Automatically adding current user and time to textbox

I have a text box called notes on one of my pages and I am wondering if it is possible to automatically add the current user's APP_USER name as well as the current time at the end of what ever the person writes.
For example:
The user writes - "Hello my name is bob." and hits submit
What shows up - "Hello my name is bob. - BOB.SMITH 15-MAR-2013 4:13pm"
Does that make sense? Do you need any more info?

B, yes Computation Point: After Submit is what I meant when I said a Computation after submit.
However, the code I provided was for a Process and not a computation. :)
Look at your computation and you'll find that the "Computation Type" says "Static Assignment" with means it will assign exactly what you enter.
Choose one that is appropriate for what you will enter. AND because it's a computation you do not enter the left side of the assignment (i.e. :P1015_NOTES := ...)
So... if you go with for example "PL/SQL Function Body" the code you enter would be:
return :P1015_NOTES || ' - ' || :APP_USER || ' ' || to_char(sysdate, 'DD-MON-YYYY HH:MI PM');APEX will execute the code and assign it to your item.

Need guidance for adding a seekbar bar timer!

I would like to add a timer that keeps track of total time and also current time that runs next to my seek bar component for my flash movie. How can I do this? For example: 1:11 | 2:04 ... the 1:11 displays the current time of the movie and the 2:04 would represent the total time of the video.

Wow! It's working. Thank you for so much help. I have a couple of preference questions if you don't mind. Currently the timer is not rounding the numbers to four digits for (minutes and seconds ie 10:33), but it is including the whole number (see attached jpg) is there a way to only display minutes and seconds rather than counting down the whole number without rounding them.
Also the timer works on the initial movie load, but if the user drags the progress bar or plays the movie again the timer doesn't restart - or start over again it stays on the last number entered. Is there a way that it always keeps track of the movies progress regardless of when the movie is loaded.

Hi Aleks!
You can use the property nodes associated with graphs and charts to programmatically modify the cursors defined for the graph, and add them at run-time. One of the easier ways to do this is by modifying the Cursor List property of the graph. This property contains an array of clusters, with each cluster containing all of the information about a particular cursor. To add a new cursor to the graph, all you would need to do is add another element to this array of clusters and set the parameters appropriately. When you write to this property, it will update the graph on your front panel. You'll probably want to only show the user a few parameters and build the cluster yourself on the block diagram to make your program a little more user-friendly. Adding estimation and actual time information to SLFN tickest

We want to track some basic information about estimation and actual work done in any single ticket. So, we want to add some fields such as:
- Number of estimated consulting and programming hours for each ticket
- Number of actual consulting and programming hours for each ticket.
Then we want to report on them.
Is there any easy way to do it?? Can we use "products"? Can someone provide some help in setting up this information??

This is something you can try.
Go to customizing:
SAP solution manager / configuration / Scenario specific settings / service desk / service desk / general settings / set up the original screen profile
Find the combination of screen profile type / transaction type = SRVO / SLFN
Change the screen profile to SRV_SLFN_2.
Go to transaction CRMD_ORDER, and create a message of type SLFN.
You will now notice that a button shows up called 'item details' between the fast entry and transaction data buttons.
Click on it.
There you can add your products, maybe one for planned time and one for actual time (remember to put the actual time before closing the message)
These fields will show in transaction CRM_DNO_MONITOR.
if you need to create products you transaction COMMPR01 and if you need to create product hierarchies use COMM_HIERARCHY.

Adding Wireless-N-ONLY Time Capsule to Dual-Band Airport Extreme Network?

I have a dual-band airport extreme which I have configured to create both a wireless-a/b/g/n SSID on my network, as well as a second SSID which is Wireless-N-ONLY (meant to be used with my Time Capsule so that all backups to the Time Capsule via Time Machine are only ever done via Wireless-N).
My Airport Extreme is already configured, and now I just have to configure my Time Capsule on my network...
Can someone briefly run through the "assist me" steps in the Airport Utility that I'd want to follow to configure my Time Capsule so that it's available on my dual-band base station's wireless-N-ONLY network and so that it's not transmitting or receiving any other wireless protocol other than wireless-N?

Thanks for your earlier feedback. I now have a dual band TC and the previous dual band EABS and I'm tearing my hair out trying to get these things to play nice! Maybe you can provide some assistance:
1) The TC upstairs is connected to the comcast modem and is the main 'router' in my network. In addition, I'm using the "create wireless network" option on this router to set up both a 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz wireless environment.
2) The AEBS downstairs on the opposite end of the house is connected by ethernet - whole house is wired so I'm feeding from the TC upstairs through a switch in the disti box down to an outlet where I have the AEBS. The cat-5 cable is connected to a LAN port on the back of the AEBS.
3) I have the AEBS set up to extend the wireless network. When I do this it only gives me the ability to select one wireless network (I have the TC configured to call the 5 GHz network something different) - In essence doesn't appear to want to let me extend both bands of the wireless network.
The problem seems to be that once I get all the configurations set I have no connectivity and if I try to open the configuration via Airport Utility, its just a spinning gear and will never open to show the settings. This happens to with both the TC and the AEBS. It's like it's in a loop or something.
I immediately disconnect the AEBS from the network and suddenly all is well again.
I know this seems like a rant, but this has been kicking my a** for two days!! I've just about had it with the constant 'hard reset' of the routers and starting over with configuration. If you have any specific things I should do, or settings that are key to set up both devices to extend my wireless network throughout the house I would be so thankful!!

Error when adding the sums of time duration when 1 cell value is 0

I am creating a very basic spreadsheet on my iPad to be used as a time clock by my 3 employees. Columns A & B are times in and out respectively and column C is the duration (B-A.) Rows 1-6 are Monday-Saturday and row 7 (specifically cell C7) is the sum of the durations of each day. So far, so good. Here's the problem...I would like to keep the same formula (C=B-A) in each cell from C1 to C6 regardless of whether or not that employee actually worked that day. When nothing is entered into columns A or B, the resulting value for column C is 0. When the value of any cell in column C is 0, the formula in cell C7 (=sumC1:C6) results in an error. Any ideas???
Also, is it possible to cut or delete the text of a cell and leave the cell formatting (i.e. fill colors, text color, boarder, etc)?

Hi Matt,
The error is that SUM cannot deal with a collection of values that contains both durations (eg. 1h 12m) and numbers ( eg. 0 ).
Don't let the value in any cell in the range be 0.
Your formula in column C is now: =B-A
If both B and A are empty, the result will be zero.
Use this revised formula: =IF(OR(LEN(A)<1,LEN(B)<1),"",B-A)
If either of the cells required to complete the subtraction has no data, the formula rturns a null string—a text value, which will be ignored by SUM. When both A and B contin Date and Time values, the formula returns a duration, and SUM will work.

Adding External Drive to Time Machine?

Three computers don't have enough space to back up to the 1TB Time Capsule that we have. I recently bought a 1TB external USB drive. Is it possible to plug this drive into the Time Capsule with USB and use it as an additional backup disc (not merge the two disks, just use this one as a network connected storage device for backups).

Yes, that is fine..
The disk must be Mac OS journalled format.. HFS+ and you might need a powered hub to connect it due to issues with the low capability of the USB port in the TC.
