Adding an extra page

Hi All,
i am new to Adobe Designer and to this forum hoping somebody has a solution for this ,
i am currently designing a form which is dynamic in nature, as i said the form is dynamic in nature,it could go on to print n no of pages.
Now the issue is i need to add an extra page if the pages end with an odd number to make it even .
bottom line all my pdf's should be ended with an even no.
is there a way that this can be done

I don't have a solution for you because I've never done a single line of preamble coding but if it is thinking that "mod" is a variable instead of an instruction to divide and provide the remainder then the preamble entry is constructed incorrectly. I don't know what the first @ symbol is for but, generally, having the @ symbol in front of some text (as in @mod) is making a reference to a variable - in this case a variable (or data field) with the label of "mod".

LiveCycle adding an extra page that I can't get rid of

Hi, I'm new to this program, and I thought I had what I needed figured out, but something odd seems to be happening. I created a form from scratch with some fillable text fields, one drop down, and a small picture at the top. Pretty simple stuff. All worked well, so I saved it, opened it and tested it. I found a couple fields needed to be a bit bigger, so I went back into LiveCycle to change them.
Now what's happening is: everytime I do ANYTHING to the form... even the most minor of changes, resizing (for which there's lots of room for), the program is adding a page to the top of the document (ie. shifting my form to Page 2). I can get rid of the new first page, and I can even add anything to it, if that's what I wanted to do.
How do I get rid of that new, non-functional, unwanted first page??

Typically that will happen if you have conntent that goes beyond the boundaries of the page. A new page is created to hold the expanded content.

When adding a page a extra page appears

I have to Master Pages Portrait Master Page 1 and Landscape Master Page 2
In design view when I insert a page - set it to Page 2 in pagination (landscape page) - an extra page appears (in design view when I click on thepage the heirarchy shows the extra page as the Landscape Master Page 2.
What am I doing wrong?

Check the hight of subform in the Main page.If hight of the subform which is in the main page is more that the Master page height then you will get this issue..

When I export to a .docx file it is adding an extra blank page on to the end of my document

I completed a document in Pages. I then chose export to>Word and exported my file as a .docx file. When I open my newly created word document there is an extra blank page at the end of my document. I have tried to delete it and export again but the same thing happens. I have also tried to open a new document, cut and paste everything in and export again. When I did this it did not add the extra page but instead changed all of my formatting. Please Help!

Requirement For Adding Extra page in Final Report

Hi,
I am generating a marketing report for the customer. All these reports will be 3-4 pages with last page.
For certain type of marketing code I need to add a last page for customer approval with some notes.I can not have it as a last page in the same flow as it may not print summary on last page.
How can I add extra page at the end of report based on conditions.

You may create the last page as subtemplate and call it conditionally. Like

All thee last page stuff goes here

<?if: condition_to_have_the_last_page?>

Adding Extra Page to a PDF doc generated from XSL & FOP

Hi, I am using XSLTC and FOP for tranforming XML to PDF.Using the JAXP 1.3 API to do this.
I am getting the xml through a web-service and using stylesheets and FOP to convert it to PDF.However my problem is that i want to add a extra page at the end of every PDF that i am creating.
This extra page at the end of every PDF is a kind of info-page whose content might change.
Can i possible create a xml doc and a corresponding xsl stylsheet to create this page and somehow merge it with my original PDF Document.I am keen on keeping the generation of this page(i.e XML and corresponding stylesheet) to be seperate

HI ...though i have resolved this issue i am facing another problem and any insight from all you people would be good help.
Basically the scenario is standard ...Webservice --- which could possibly return multiple XML strings which are required to be rendered into PDFs.
These Strings are received in a JSP along with other values like as follows.
eg :
Name : XYZ0 Age : 57 Profile : PDFLink0[/u
Name : XYZ1 Age : 45 Profile : [u]PDFLink1[/u
On Clicking the links a PDF is supposed to be rendered.
Presently i have a Servlet which calls my PDF component and renderes a PDF based on primarily XML String and other params etc....
The Issue is all these PDF links in my JSP page are Hrefs and am wondering how could i pass my XML String nd other params to my Servlet.
One option could be as a Query String but i dont want to take that approach .I would rather prefer a Single Object(Created and populated in the JSP itself) and passed to the Servlet.
Could anyone give any inputs....as to possible ways this could be done.

Acrobat 7 Extra pages with comments

Using Acrobat 7 and adding a coment using the Text Tool. When printing the document (14 pages) an extra page is printed after each document page. This extra page say, "No cpomment on this page." Any know how to prevent the extra pages from printing?

CMC is exporting an extra page in my PDF document???

I have the SAP Business Objects Central Management Console and I am exporting a PDF document. When it exports the document, as a PDF, it's giving me an extra page and it's blank. I am trying to rid the extra page. How can I do that.
When I export the document as a PDF directly from Crystal Reports 8 it doesn't give me the extra blank page, which is what I am looking for.
Please help or direct me to the right place.

Printing extra pages in smartform

thanks for your prompt responses...added to the question, in the extra page i'm getting spool information.actually the program is set in background.once the invoice is issued the form is sent to printer.and in the spool it is displaying the actual pages only.its not showing the extra pages.but once it is out from the printer,i'm getting the extra pages with the spool information

How can I add extra pages to newsletter templates.

I know you can add extra pages by adding a section. But this is just a blank page, whereas I'd like to continue the design without having to reconstruct it myself every time. Is this no longer possible?

Apple has removed the Captured Pages feature that was in previous versions of Pages (along with well over a hundred other features).
Templates no longer have the internal master pages that made adding the extra designs possible. So all you can do is a clumsy duplication of pages from the original template, which entails opening a new version if you have already altered the one you opened previously.
It makes a mockery of good UI design.
If you want real functionality use Pages '09.

How To Delete The Extra Page In Smartform Output

Hi Friends,
I am working wih Smarform..which displays P.O Details (Header and Item ) .
Header Details in Template and Item Details in Table..
I am trying to print 10 P.O ..for every P.O i kept New page command.
So..finally i have to get 10 pages in output...instead i am getting 11 pages...
How to delete the extra page ? Y i am getting this..
please give helpful answers...

as someone else said. put the newpage command at the start.
However with a condition that that it not happens at the first page.
or
Determine how many P.O.
use a counter.
If this counter is equal to number of P.O, then no newpage command.

To create a new page from your index, go to File > SaveAs > filename.html. Repeat for other site pages. Add links on your index page that lead to other site pages.

Invoice print extra page w/o any data in repetitive area or end of report

I did not use Page Footer and reduced those "hidden fielded" height to 26 with checkmark for Adjust Area Height, but the invoice will print extra page with blank repetitive area and page footer, Report Header and Repetitive Header showed.
How to remove the extra page?
I have another one that do not print the extra page but each page has same Invoice Total, Frt, Tax with Remittance Address that should only show in the last page. I know this is because I put Invoice Total in Page Footer. When I remove Page Footer to End of Report area then I got extra page with no data in repetitive area or end of report.

i think problem be create in Repetetive Area.
Do this in your PLD,
->> Open your PLD and save as a duplicate PLD (Just testing PLD).
->> Right Click in PLD and Choose the Display Hidden Fields in PLD.
->> Reduce the Height of all fields in Repetetive Area, Page Header and End of Reports.
for example,
->> Select all fields including Hidden fields in Repetetive Area & Repetetive Area Footer and
Reduce the Height in General tab on Properties Widnow.
put the Height -> 15 and Font Size -> 10
->> Reduce the Repetetive Area Height and put the Tick mark in Area Height Adjustment in Format Tab.
Try to remove all fieds(including Hidden fields) in Page Footer and Reduce the Height.
ex. Page Footer Height -> 0

Unwanted Extra page in payment advice form (F110_PRENUM_CHCK, RFFOUS_C)

Hi,
We are printing payment advice form along with the check using standard print program RFFOUS_C.
But instead of using the standard form F110_PRENUM_CHCK we are using our own form. But when printing this form one extra page is coming with no data although all the line items are getting printed in the first page itself.
Can anyone plz help me on how to avoid this additional blank page.
And we have defined only one page with all necessary windows although there are 3 pages in the standard form F110_PRENUM_CHCK.

in the selection screen of RFFOUS_C, u can c multiple options,among them c the checkboxes that have been checked.. there r options for printing additional details,summary and things like that.. u may find something useful out there.. n also if u r using a variant in the program, just look out for the options that have been checked in the selection screen for this variant..
