Adding Arabic language to nokia 500

I would like to know how can I add Arabic language to Nokia 500 I all languages except Arabic letters

@zamaan
Hi,
Your local Nokia care point will be able to add any additional language packs for you. Please be advised though there maybe a charge for this service.
You can check you local care point on the following link:

  • Request for adding Sindhi Language for Nokia Mobil...

I am Creative Graphic Designer and have pointed out many omitted features for Adobe’s products like InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, I have remained on top position in top ten participants of Features’ forum page in 2011 now am on second position by suggesting Adobe Abro Calligrapher which was missing.
It is highly commendable that your prestigious institute of Nokia is occupying a top level in the field of Mobile system. I have an advice, which if accepted, will certainly promote the dignity of your linkage world.
In our country Pakistan two languages viz Urdu and Sindhi are spoken which have its own alphabets. Sindhi is very old language of the world as its civilization. Sindhi language is very rich having great numbers of letters with the result anyone can pronounce any word of an other language of the world with right accent easily. Its letters are similar to Arabic language with slight difference of additional letters. If the letters / alphabet of Sindhi language are added / introduced in coming software of Nokia Mobiles, it will be great achievement of your institute on one hand and vast familiarity among mobile users, on the other.
I have also tried to get the same result for future software of Microsoft and Adobe to promote and facilitate the user’s interest.
I expect positive returns from your end.
    Thanks

    hi mate,
if you are referring to the Lumia line of Nokia phones, then you will need to leave feedback with Microsoft as it is up to them, not Nokia, to add language support: http://windowsphone.uservoice.com

  • Arabic Language for Nokia 808 PureView US version

    Hi guys,
I got my new Nokia 808 PureView (US version) from amazon.com. I want to add Arabic language to it. Is there any way to do it?
    Thanks,

Yes there is. You will need to visit your local Nokia Care point and they will add the Arabic language pack to your phone. Be advised that the language pack will be removed in the event that you update the phone or perform a full factory reset.
Only Nokia Care can add the language packs because there is special software needed which only they legally possess.

  • Hindi language in Nokia 500

Nokia has been peoples mobile in india selling mobiles in urban as well as rural india alike for a very long time.
It is too disappointing that Nokia does not respect such a huge local market for it's products that it cannot provide the mother tongue of whole india. Let alone other regional languages.
I would be so delighted if nokia allows me to type Hindi language on my Nokia500.
    Please help.

See if this works for you -
Open the write message window. select options-Writing language or dictionary - Hindi.
If not you may try first setting the phone language to Hindi.
If even that does not work you need to contact the authorised Nokia Care Centre in your area & get the language pack installed.
Please note that the language pack will be removed if you reset the phone or reinstall or update the firmware.
Please mark the post as solution if it solves your problem.

  • Adding Arabic Language as input Language

I have always had Arabic as part of my BB Z10 default languages. Recently my phone crashed and i reinstalled the software release 10.1.0.4181 however this time i lost the option to add Arabic as an input language. How can i re add Arabic, can someone please help?
    Thanks
    T

If you want your OS menus and dialogues to appear in Arabic, go to system preferences/language & text/language and move Arabic to the top of the list and logout/login.  If Arabic is not on the list, use the Edit button to add it.
If it is something different that you want, provide more detail.

  • Arabic language pack on nokia 5800

hi i bought a nokia 5800 from hong kong with preinstalled chinese and english language, but my bro recently purchased a nokia 5530 from the same place, and it also has the same language packs preinstalled. however, the 5530 can view the arabic font (but not write in arabic) as in if he gets a txt messeage in arabic, but my 5800 cant?
anyone knows how i cud install the arabic language pack in my 5800. i know they are already preinstalled by nokia, but since stores can do it, then there must be a way to do it!
If iv helped in anyway, hit the kudos button

You'll have to take the phone into a Nokia Care Point. The software needed to install a language pack is not available to end users such as yourself, only to Nokia staff. In theory, even stores shouldn't be able to use it and I'm betting Arabic support will disappear from your brother's 5530 when he updates the firmware (read here to find out why).

  • Nokia 225 Arabic Language Pack

Is it possible to add the arabic language pack to the nokia 225? My mother just bought a new nokia but she loves arabic and it is necessary that she can read it on her phone. If not, could someone suggest a simple nokia (not smartphone) with the arabic preinstalled. The product code of the phone is 059V5W8. Thanks.

With a Nokia Series 30+ (MediaTek) based phone like yours, the set of languages depend on the firmware variant. The firmware variant is identified through the Nokia Product Code which is printed on the label on the phone (059…). You have a phone designated for Germany. If you had 059V5Z3 for example, you would get the Arabic language. However, you might loose other languages this way, like German. Which languages do you need?
Officially, only a Nokia Care Center is able to change the firmware variant, officially.

Both Apple iPhone and Windows Phone can be used as feature phones, when you disable the mobile data. Apple iPhone comes with all languages preinstalled and costs around 280 € new. With a Windows Phone, you need a Wi-Fi once to download additional languages – this can be done directly from its user-interface. I recommend to start with the Nokia Lumia 730, because of its compass sensor for pedestrian navigation – which starts at 180 € currently.

  • I Lost Arabic Language After Updating Software c3-...

Hi Everyone , Sorry for disturbing' you but I'm really need help !
First, I had a problem with a message that appears when I tries to use camera " File not supported " , so I Setup Ovi Pc suite and Update my Mobile Software which was v4.20 to v7.20 , and it seems to work good , but when I'm trying to write a message in Arabic , There's No Arabic ! And You know I need it cause I'm in Middle East Area , and it's usually used here ! .. Waiting for helping ..
    Thanks !

It seems that your phone was not intended to be sold in your region.. The retailer added the language afterwards for his own gains... You may contact the retailer again and explain the issue.. and if you are lucky, you may get the language pack added (..may be free of cost.. if you insist..) .. If not then the ONLY solution that remains is to get it installed at Nokia Care.. may be by paying a little fee..
Be warned that you will be in the same situation again if you go for any firmware update in the future...
BTW.. there are n no. of threads on similar subject already on this forum. Always SEARCH for your problem first.. before you start a fresh thread...

    PLEASE guys ,
If any one has any idea wher i can write in arabic again ...please share it with us

It seems that the Arabic Language was not pre-installed in your Phone but was added by the retailer..The phone is originally meant for other region but the retailer must have got it from Grey market to earn some extra money..
The only solution to this is to visit Nokia Care and tell them to install the Language pack.
Note that any future firmware update will again result the same and the Arabic language pack will require re-install at Nokia Care..
