Could u pls clarify me can we add a segment which is already being used in the basic type . If so how to do that .

Example :
We have basic type as : ACC_DOCUMENT03
For the above basic type we have different segments .
One of the segement is : E1BPACGL09 which is being used for differnt G L Accounts postring . Now we want to use the above segement once again.
1) Can we add segement
2) If so how to do ?

I thought about another option, so I'd like to know what you think about it.
If I set this vehicle's status (OIGV-VEH_STATUS) as 2 (Vehicle to be deleted) and run SARA with object OIG_VEHCLE, will it be successfully archived if the TD Shipment's still in the database with status=6?
And... let's suppose it get archived somehow. Will I be able to use this very same vehicle code (OIGV-VEHICLE) to create a different (another) vehicle?

Segment E1EDP36 not active in the DELFOR02 IDOC type.

I have been working with creating extensions for Idoc type DELFOR02 inn ECC 6.0. But for the basic idoc type DELFOR02 , the segment E1EDP36 is not active here.i.e., the idoc generated does not carry data for this particular segement.
This segment depends on entries in a structure xisautoeklwes ( include LEINMF3S, line 130). The underlying table for this structure would be ISAUTOEKLWES(Last Deliveries for FLAB).
Could anyone throw light on how this structure will be filled or how it has to be filled if I can make changes to the customer exit available there.

To add custom segments, you should create an extension.
the TCODE is we30.

Using XMLType as the AQ payload type

Can you help
Some developers working on a 9.2 db are under the impression that to use XMLType as the AQ payload type you need to have XML db (catqm etc) installed . Is this true ?
ie I don't want to install it unless necessary

How do I move my iPhone back ups to a new computer which is already using iTunes for a different device?

I have backed up my children's iDevices to my work computer. Now that my wife has a new computer, she wants to be able to manage their devices from home. Of course, she is already using her computer to manage her iPhone.
Is there a way to move my iTunes library files to my wife's computer so that it will recognize both her iPhone as well as our children's iDevides, without losing any data, playlists, etc.?

No. You cannot join the two libraries. She can make a copy of your iTunes library on her computer, then switch libraries when opening iTunes if she needs to handle the other devices. Note that everything you have downloaded for your kids on your computer are connected to your Apple ID. Your wife cannot transfer anything to her Apple ID.
Using More than One iDevice on the Same Computer
This applies mainly to couples who are adding another device and do not want their email, messages, etc. being duplicated on both devices. To begin read: How to use multiple iPhone, iPad, or iPod devices with one computer. You need to establish a separate Apple ID and password for whomever will use the new iDevice. See Apple - My Apple ID and Frequently asked questions about Apple ID. The easiest way is to do this on the computer using iTunes: iTunes- How to set up an Apple ID within iTunes.
On the computer create a new user account for the person with the new iDevice. This will be the user account that person will always use. He/She will no longer use the other user account. This way that person will have a separate iTunes Library
Start by transferring the new device(s) to a new account along with all your data. Save any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless they are already in the camera roll) by opening your Photos app, tap on Albums icon at the bottom. Now, tap on My Photo Stream album; tap Select; tap on the photos you want to select;, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow) in the lower left corner; then tap Save to Camera Roll.
If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep then you need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself. Later you can copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account.
Tap on Settings > iCloud > Delete Account (only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; the person keeping the current account will not be affected,) provide the password to turn off Find My Phone and choose Keep on My iDevice when prompted. Sign in with a different Apple ID to create your new account. Choose Merge to upload your data.
Once you are on separate accounts, you can each go to icloud.com and delete the other person's data from your account.

Removinga field from the segment which is already released

Hi Folks,
I have created a custom segment & released it. But later when I want to remove a field from it I'm not able to do so. I tried to cancel the release of the segment & then make the required changes but while tried to cancel the release I'm getting an error saying "Error while resetting release of segment ZDATA_BASIC_SEG". Kindly let me know how could I remove the field from this segment. For your information the current release of our system is 700 & the release of segment is also 700.

As you said, current release of your system is 700 & the release of segment is also 700.
I tried to test the possible errors during the release of the segment. Please have a breakpoint in the program LEDIJF05 in the form CHANGE_CLOSE_SEGDEF. The error could be mismatch with the previous definition of the segment, where the release is not equal to 700.

Which interface to use to get the bleed parameters from existing document

I have an Indesign document having a page with the bleed parameters set and I have to create new pages with the same bleed values.
Which is the interface that I should use to get the bleed values from existing page and set the same to the new pages.
I used a few interfaces given in API support doc, but I am not able to get the bleed values using them. I used GetBleedBox() of INewDocCmdData interface without success.
Can anybody tell me a proper way to use this interface to get the bleed values and then set those values or is there another more relevant interface?

Why is the "From:" field being changed in Mac Mail. I have multiple gmail accounts setup and it seems to change the "FROM" field even though I've selected which account to use to send the email.

So
I've got multiple gmail accounts setup in Mac Mail.
Somtimes when I send or forward emails, it uses the wrong FROM field even though I'm declaring
specifically which account to use.
This becomes apparent when the person replies to my message and it goes to the wrong account

Check you accounts in Mail and make sure each account has the correct outgoing server address. Check the box to use only that server.
Second, go to the gmail website and in settings under the account tab, make sure you have the correct settings for replying to messages.

His there a widget for dashboard which i can use to turn the infrared functionality for my apple remote on and off quickly?

As many of you i suppose, i have a universal dock and a macbook pro.
Now because this dock and my MBP are often in the same room and both react to the remote, it would be handy if there was a widget which i could use to temporarily turn of my infrared port of the macbook, when i want to use my remote for the dock only.
If i only want to use the remote for my macbook it's simple, i just unplug my iphone, but if i want to do the opposite, use it only for my dock while working on the computer i have to complete several steps in the system preferences before i can get what i want.
So is there an easy way (i was thinking a widget in the dashboard) to get around this?

Unfortunetally, No and no. Apple TV is a closed API so developers are right now unable to create an app that is very compatible to connect to Apple TV. There is also no remote app on the Mac App Store.

Issues in using the GLMAST01 idoc type

           I am using the LSMW to upload the GL master records using the IDOC method. I am using the IDoc type as GLMAST01. I am passing the following data. I am not able to post the IDoc with following data. Please tell me, is there anything I am missing here or there is something else because of which I am getting the results?
         In E1SKA1M, I am passing the values for SAKNR, KTOPL, KTOKS, XBLIK, VBUND, BILKT.
         In E1SKATM, I am passing the values for SPRAS, TXT20 and TXT50.
        In E1SKB1M, I am passing the values for BUKRS, WAERS, FSTAG.
        In some cases, I am creating the multiple segments for E1SKATM and E1SKB1M segments.
        This is kind of getting urgent and I could not find the answers for this in any other post on SDN. Please help.

There is no solution for this, you cannot have GUI interactions(nor any statements that might invoke a implicit/explicit commit) in a V2 update. When you say this worked, did you have update debugging enabled, if so then it might have worked as the debugger session can access GUI...
If the whole idea/need of this output is to download a file, use OPEN DATASET, TRANSFER and CLOSE DATASET.
Even for the RSNAST00 execution, i am sure that in the actual business scenario(in production) this would be scheduled as a background job, where in again "GUI_DOWNLOAD" wouldn't work.

Segment E1IDBW1 is missing for the inbound idoc type PAYEXT

the above segment is missing in the inbound idoc - basic type pexr2002.
I have checked in TC-we30 and its available there.
but still the idoc is getting generated without this segment.
can someone suggest.

I have a similar query to that of Penny. We are able to get the standard IDOC to generate with segment E1IDBW1. It contains the standard fields INPWEEMP, INPWTXT1, INPWTXT2. However, we have a requirement to manipulate the standard contents of these fields. We wanted to use user exit EXIT_SAPLIEDP_002 to do this.
I have maintained user exit EXIT_SAPLIEDP_002 but when we enter this on creation of the IDOC the segment E1IDBW1 does not seem to be available in table EDIDD_TABLE for manipulation. Can you advise please if (1) you were able to get E1IDBW1 available to edit in exit EXIT_SAPLIEDP_002 and (2) were you able to manipulate the contents of INPWTXT1, INPWTXT2 etc?
We have done the following steps:
- BTE 2441 is available on our release
- house bank has been setup as an In House Cash Center which allows E1IDBW1 to be generated
- entry has been maintained in table FEDICUS with Message Type = PAYEXT, BasicType = PEXR2002, Extension = Blank, Seg Type = E1IDBW1
- code maintained in ZXF08U04
The system enters ZXF08U04 but E1IDBW1 is not available there for manipulation.
Can you advise what we might be missing please?

How to use xsl in the veriable (of type Document packorg.w3c.dom)?

I have xml document in the variable of type Document from the package "org.w3c.dom". I want to use xsl to this xml document to format it.
I am trying to do something like this:

HT4864 Why did Apple give me an iCloud address which is already used by someone else?

Hi.
Just set up my iCloud account and was given the [email protected] by default. I thought I would try and test this address and sent a few emails to it. As time went by I was still waiting to see these test emails and still received nothing. The next day I receive an email from a person with the same icloud address that I was given, telling me that he has this already!
Rather confusing so I have had to set up an alias to get round the problem. Question is as my title says...why give me this address in the first place?

Look at the source of some of those messages (View/Message/Raw Source). It might give you a better idea about where they originated and where they've been. If it looks like they are originating from your computer, you might have a problem.
It is a simple matter to spoof someone else's email address or use a fake email address. I've received spam that was ostensibly from myself and I am always receiving spam from random but real-looking email addresses. If a rejection is sent to the "originating" email address, I imagine that would go to the spoofed address.
