Adding author bio and image to blog posts

I can see tags {tag_blogpostauthorpicture}{tag_blogpostauthorbiography} but no where to add this information to the system. I have tried adding the author (who is an admin) to the CRM and adding the information there. But I am just getting a place holder image and blank bio.
I also want to add an rel=author tag to point to G+ so I hope I can add HTML not just plain text for the Bio.
Nothing about this on the set up guide. Can anyone help me please?

Hey there.
It is your admin account. Under your name in the top right you can click your info. You can edit and update your photo and details there.

     I want to create a blog post. For that i have to insert some images in that post. These image are in my PC desktop. How to upload/insert these images in my blog post body.
    I am able to see a option 'Insert Image' in blog post editor. But it is asking me the URL of the image. I can brouse the image from desktop but how to get the URL of that image.
    The same problem also come while adding snaps in profile.

There is 2 ways to insert an image:
1. You can select the picture icon on the tool bar
and then the foolowing screen will allow you to upload your picture from your computer:
2. You can also drug and drop the image directly from your computer to the text, this is the way I use.

Need help with adding formatted text and images to Crystal Report?

Here's my scenario:
I have a customer statement that's generated as a crystal report and that has a placeholder for advertisement. The advertisement is mixture of formatted text and images. Until now we only had one advertisement that was always used on the report. The new requirement is that we would have a pool of hundreds of advertisements and would need to display one specific advertisement on the customer statement based on various marketing criteria. They key is that the advertisement content will be determined programmatically and cannot be hardcoded into the report. I'm using Crystal2008 with .net SDK.
Here are the solutions I thought of, but I'm still rather lost and would appreciate your help/opinion.
1) Pass HTML or RTF to the report
Not really sure if this is possible and how to get it done. Also how would I pass in images? Would display formatting be reliable when exporting to PDF?
2) Create each add as a subreport and append it programatically
I actually have this working, but I only know how to append a new section to the end of the report and then load the subreport to the section. I have no other controll of the placement. Is there a way to dynamically load a subreport to a predefined section in the main report? How about adding a dummy subreport in the main report as a placeholder and then replacing it with a different subreport? How could I do this?
3) Pass an Image to the report
I would create each advertisement as an image and then would somehow add the image to the report. How would I load the image and control the placement? Could I somehow define a placeholder for the image in the main report-maybe a dummy image to be replaced?

I would got the third way.
You can use dynamic images in your report.
Just by changing the URL to the image the image can be changed.

Pick Rendition button disabled when inserting image into Blog Post Body

I have configured Image Renditions by enable BLOB caching on the web application and enable publishing features on a Blog site. When I insert an image to the Body field when editing a Post (EditPost.aspx), the Pick Rendition button is disabled. It works
perfectly when adding an image to a Page Content area, but not for EditPost.aspx and NewPost.aspx. The image I am trying to insert DOES reside within the same site collection as the Blog site.
Any ideas how to enable the Pick Renditions button?

Hi Ram,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to display author picture in SharePoint blog.
In my test, we can achieve the demand as following steps:
Go to the blog site ->Site Actions -> View All Site Content ->Posts.
In the Posts list, go to List Settings-> click Created By column in the Columns section.
In Additional Column Settings, select
Name (with picture) or Name (with picture and details) for Show field.

Problem viewing and reading blog posts

I have several friends comment to me that they have trouble viewing and reading my blog posts. They have told me when the click on the "read more" to read the entire blog posts, it jumbles the pictures and text together so they can't see or read any of it. This has happened to multiple people and I can't seem to find an explanation on the forums for it. I have ilife 08 now. Please help! I hate paying $100/year when my friends and family can't view my blog properly!

So you would get staff up but you would have to rethink it work on a full Bio page for them if you wanted them to show up in search results.
Other option is to not use the BC search Luke but integrate a google search for your site. It will search the pages content (all of it) and that would also include the Bio. BUT this would be in the google search results and not show that information in the results view, it would just pick up that information.
The ajax thing I mentioned was to loop through the results, read them, if they were blog posts go Ajax fetch from the links page and find the Author information from that and then inject it into the result. It would be seamless (small flicker, slow down the page load a bit) but it would work.
The effort though to do that, bit to much for the results gained.

Wrapping text around an image in a blog post

Hi,
I want my client to have the choice to wrap text around an image they have inserted into a blog post. How is this possible? I have tried to create a class that would would appear in the 'apply a class' section of the editor but it doesnt work, the class doesnt even appear in the editor.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I have added it in the partner portal and it just says clear class.
I have only added a small bit of css so I dont think that is the problem. I just the below applied to the image so the text will float round it.

I think the problem is that it is in the wrong css file. I have tried it on few different css files and it does the appear in the editor for some of the webpages. No matter what css file I put it in, it still doesnt appear as an option when adding a blog post.
The blog post is referencing a few stylesheets, how can I identify which one the code should be in?

How to post multiple images in one blog post using iweb

I would like to post multiple images in a single blog post. When ever I add a second or third image in the "entry" section of iweb, it does not show up in the blog post on the homepage of the blog. does anyone know if it is even possible to have multiple, separate images in one post, and if so, how.

Top image on blog is not centered but is in Chrome and IE

I just redid my blog and most of my top images on my posts are way to the right. I've cleared my cache and reloaded but they are still way over. The images are fine in IE and Chrome. Is there a reason my top images are not centered?

Seems to be fine here. I'm on Linux, so can't check how it looks in IE.
You can reload the page and bypass the cache with:
* Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
* Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
* Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)

Blog Post List layout - images missing

My developer is saying that it is not possible to include post images in the blog post list layout.
Can you confirm if this is correct?
Here is my current blog post list layout http://www.onlineiq.biz/_blog/onlineiq_blog
and images only display when clicking on Post Detail view.
I know this can be acheived with web apps, but just needed to confirm that he is not missing something or that there is a trick we need to be aware of.

I think what your developer is doing is using the tag for the layout to show a number of characters rather then the one to show the first paragraph. The latter will allow you to have html such as images but you need to ensure your first paragraph is short and sweet - and intro and the css styles for the image work.
But as you can see, it is defiantly possible.

How are the images stored on your original iPad? Are they in the camera roll, in events downloaded using the camera connection kit, or are they in albums synced to your ipad from a computer?
If the photos are in the camera roll or in events downloaded from a camera, you can transfer them to your iMac and MBA by directly connecting the iPad using USB. Then you can download the photos to iPhoto like from a camera.
Only, if your photos have been synced to the iPad from a computer, you will have to save them first to the camera roll; then you can download them by connecting the iPad via USB.
What IOS version has your iPad?
For new photos you might consider using Photo Stream to transfer your photos between the devices.

When i changed the names of my books in iTunes, it did not changed in the iPad after i had synced it again with the changes. can anyone help? i had added authors to the author column and deleted their names from the book titles.

i had added books to iBooks on iTunes and synced with my iPad mini. Then I realised that the titles sometimes had the author name, or a random number before it. I made changes to all the books in my iTunes library, edited the titles, added authors to the author columns, year in year column etc and synced my iPad again. but my iPad did not update these changes at all is still in the old way. can this be rectified?

Have you tried closing the app via the taskbar ? (I assume that your iPad is on iOS 6, though the version that your tagline shows, 6.1.6, is not a version for iPads) From the home screen (i.e. not with iTunes store app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the iTunes app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't fix it then you could try a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

The thumbnail looks great, and when i import --> then select it to open it as if I was going to view it full size in Lightroom, it looks great [no vignetting or tone/color adjustment] for about 1-2 seconds while a 'loading' footer is shown, following which the color is slightly altered and the vignetting is added (at this point then the thumbnail changes as well). This is a significant and noticable change to the photo. The pictures also do not have these issues if I view them through any other software. I have Can any one help me figure out what is causing this and remove it?

shoot in RAW (.ARW)
use the standard sony kit lens that comes with the camera bundle, lens SELP1650 (3.5-5.6/16mm-50mm)
edit on Windows 7 64bit with Lightroom5
and don't believe I've adjusted any camera settings since last taking pictures 1 week ago with the exact same lens. I looked at photos from my last trip (only one week ago), and none of them are having these or an alterations/changes upon import.
I took over 300 photos last weekend wthout any sign of these issues post import
Every single photo I took this weekend seems to have this same issue.
Any help is appreciated!
